headcannon that before the yotsuba arc (and before meeting light in general) L always hated sleeping in his bed because it'd remind him of how completely big and alone he is in his bedroom. like it makes him realize how disconnected he feels from the world he's dedicated his life to serving justice for and that's why he chooses to sleep in work chairs or couches or even the floor sometimes. anywhere he's left at he'll sleep in because he can't be bothered to bring himself to bed.

but then when the yotsuba arc starts and light forces L to let him sleep in a bedroom (i think we can all agree there's no way light would agree to sleeping on the floor), it's the first time L doesn't entirely hate being in bed. just light's presence is enough to make him feel like maybe part of him is still human. like his bed isn't just a pre-made grave.

but then all of that gets taken away when they're de-handcuffed. and now it's even harder for L to go to bed.

not only is he an empty bed again, but there's a dent in it where a friend used to lay.

uhhm, okay long ramble under here

Dandy - probably still have same mechanic as original but i'd say he also send twisteds over to same spot as soon as machine finished so it'll be tougher to deal with than just dandy himself alone Astro - still kept tiredness effect however, it'll be permanent, like perhaps tiredness 1 so it isn't too annoying? it'll still be annoying either way, i'd like to think that he'll also check up on machines sometime. if he sense a machine is halfway to finish, astro will instantly come over to that spot to decrease the amount of ichors unless the player got astro away from machine luckily Sprout - genuinely i have no idea, he already have a good mechanic. dealing with tendril is scary and unironically annoying (sprout on alone is ridiculously easy tho) Vee - boy, i have a very interesting idea for her. i already rambled 'bout it before on my personalized twisted vee post. okay, so vee still keep slowness status (not permanent this time), she can hijack the televisions that are available in room to make normal vee apppears roam around through televisions. once u get caught by normal vee dur walking past tv while she's currently up in said tv, it'll catch twisted vee to run over to the exact spot. twisted vee is also partially blind due to screen cracked, her eyesight isn't the best hence she hijacked tvs to help her more Shelly - this is tough one, uhh. well, she get confusion 2 back bc confusion 1 just make it seem too easy. i do have a interesting thought that what if shelly spawn a minion, like it's a tiny dinosaur alike made out of ichors. if you got caught by one, it'll grab Shelly attention instantly to come over while the minion disappearing into the ground. oh yea these minions will be roaming aswell, just ridiculously slow tho now, will i make designs for these? over my dead body i already made design for dandy and vee, haven't made other 3 and i don't feel like drawing it

Aurora's second arc is to the first arc what Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows is to Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui; now that our 6 main characters have all been introduced and proven their worth, we get to just see them interact and have nice little character actions, and i really like that.

i remember castle being like. alright. but unlike quantum leap, star trek, the x files, or hell even macgyver i feel no urge to revisit it at all. actually i dont think theres a police procedural i actively want to revisit and also this is probably just bc im effectively writing my own to suit my liking and also id get the same kick from murder she wrote and im only 4 seasons into that bc ive never seen it before
