Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net I was referred to an oral surgeon by my primary care dentist since I have to have 6 teeth and 2 residual root tips extracted in advance of getting a full upper denture. All the extractions including the root tips have to be done during one visit, which necessitates the use of IV sedation. My general dentist cannot perform any of this work. Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net denied the original pre-authorization request, and subsequent appeal stating that my general dentist can perform the services being referred. Which is absolutely not the case. I even spoke with a customer service rep who indicated that the extraction of residual root tips is definitely a referable service and it clearly states that in their Dental Net Provider Contract. She has no explanation for why the appeal was denied. My primary care dentist has even provided Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net with his specific reasons for referring this work to an oral surgeon and I still can't get anyone at Anthem Blue Cross to re-evaluate the original denial and the appeal and authorize the necessary work. Ok, so this is a little complicated... Oct 2008 I had a car accident. My car was written off. My car was towed to a garage and was held there while the insurance company evaluated the damage. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW MY CAR. Because the size of my excess (800) and the amount of damage matched the value of the car (800) I was advised it would be pointless to claim on the insurance and it was written off. The accident was my fault and I held my hands up and admitted it and the other party walked away with everything sorted. No suggestion of fraud and certainly nothing fraudulent on my part. Towards the end of 2008 my insurance company started falling off the radar, not returning my calls or my emails, letters etc. I repeatedly asked what I was supposed to do next (I'd never had an accident before and the whole process confused me because they kept giving me conflicting info) and where my car was. I was ignored (or given incorrect info). In the end I declared a SORN on the car and had so much going on in my personal life, I forgot about it, knowing the car was off the road. Anyway, I'm now trying to track the car down as the SORN is about to run out. Insurance company are still off the radar and refusing to answer. Now they're saying they have no record of me, my policy OR my car. So I've lost my car, I don't know who's got it and yet I'm still liable for it. What can I do? Can I get the police involved? My ex-GF [29/F] and I [M/29] have been broken up for a few months now (September was the official month we went our separate ways). To put things into perspective, we were both at different places in our lives during this relationship; I, mostly focusing on my career and she being jobless, dealing with a dad with stage IV cancer, depression, and a hint of suicidal ideation. Throughout the last half of our relationship, I started working two jobs, finishing up my Bachelor's in Nursing, and obtaining a special certification called the PCCN (more knowledge, pay, and marketability). She kept busy hanging out with friends, going on adventures, occasionally taking care of her dad, seeing a therapist (and getting on medication which has helped tremendously!) and trying to get our relationship back on track. The nail in the coffin for us was when I refused to go to Hawaii with her in mid-September (again, school and everything else posted up above). She told me that she didn't think I wanted to be in a relationship with her anymore because I didn't care about wanting to be with her.

6 weeks ago, I finished the long-term and short-term goals that I described above. I still have my other job, but now (finally), after coming from work, I have time for the relationship, to have fun, to go on trips, and love her liked I used to. No more studying, stress, or being overwhelmingly tired with life. And, I want you guys to know, that I have been routintely working out, seeing my friends, going to museums, cooking, etc. I've been doing great. My ex just finished school for a different career choice and finally got a job that she will be starting in mid-December! She is also doing great, and I’m extremely happy for her.

Problems that arose during the relationship from my point-of-view: she was too clingy, was going out too much without having a job, and not taking care of herself (I gave her the gigantic push to see her therapist). Problems from her point-of-view: Not enough time for her, not knowing when I'd ease up and enjoy life, and lack of communication. This is the general backstory of the culmination of problems that ended the relationship and why we're in the position we're in.

Now that the bad is out of the way, I do want to say that I love this woman a lot. Even though we had tough times that ended up in a break-up, I believe we are very compatible with one another. She makes me a stronger person, especially with her empathy. Her smile, charisma, and artsy background absolutely pull me in. We liked to cuddle together, and after talking with her recently, we got on the topic of sex where it was stated that we "did have really good sex." All of this makes me yearn to try one more time because I have this intuition that if we get back together, the relationship will be twice as strong.

So, in a nutshell, I didn't give her the time and love she needed, and I believe she couldn't wait any longer (this makes sense--she didn't know how much longer I'd be killing myself to get my career going). After seeing my ex-GF at a mutual friend’s party in October, we started to talk again. We communicate almost daily via text, occasionally talk on the phone, and have gone out 4 times, all of which have been fun, stress-free, and filled with laughs (Our last date we got a facial, sushi, and ice cream!). During the last hangout 5 days ago, we talked a lot about our feelings. I told her that I wanted to try again (and that I still had feelings for her), and that if we were to get back together, that we would take it slowly. She told me she wanted “to see what else is out there first.” She hasn’t yet told me she is dating someone but a friend of mine has confirmed that she is non-seriously dating someone. Sometimes she posts stories of him on Instagram, and it hurts, though I've never told her this or have made myself look jealous/stupid.

Anyway, to sum things up, I’m going to New York this week and she wants me to bring her back a cookie! She’s also starting work the day after I come back, so I’ll see her right before she has her first day. Included with the cookie, I want to make her a care package with a white rose (her favorite), a framed photo of us, a jar of inspirational quotes that she can pick out of when she’s feeling down, and maybe an artsy knick-knack I find in NYC. Nothing in this care package will be materialistic—it will all be from the heart. I want to put all of my effort into getting her back before I lose her, because I don’t want to take the chance of her getting serious with this new guy. However, I understand that there’s a possibility of her rejecting me. I’ve thought about this, and I know that if she does, I will respect her opinion and go No-Contact for X amount of days to heal and move on. Do you guys think the care package will be a good idea? Knowing someone is with another is really anxiety-inducing and stressful.

Tl;dr I still love my ex-GF and we’re in a better place than before. I want my ex-GF back and I’m wondering if I should give her a care package. If she says no, I will go No-Contact for healing.

Dreamed ECOS was in space on another planet. The sky was huge and pink and the clouds were majestic af. Gravity was only a little weaker there. 

I was at a school reunion, Belkisa had 2 kids, Emily had died and Cody had cut off all his hair and beard. Callie was there and I saw them flirting and was SCANDALIZED. I had short hair again and wore a cowboy hat.

I was out on a suburban street probably in Portland, and it was supposedly where the real castle from Beauty & the Beast was. Like, the story was real and historic? Trying to find it so I could break in and steal all the riches, but it was impossible to find. Somehow I knew it was only a street or two away but nobody had ever quite been able to find it, it was almost like an urban legend or the castle purposefully had a curse on it or something. Frustrating but intriguing.

At work (trackers) on a really rainy day, some site out in the boonies. Didn’t have kids in the morning, and during the afternoon someone else took them so Keith could take us on a dirigible ride. Dan Meier wanted us to hang with him and my brother, and I was like “Ugh...this shit again?”

Starting ECOS again (fuck this is like the 3rd dream Ive had like this) and I had Taylor’s long curly black hair but some was waaaaay longer, like elbow length vs. shoulder. I was gonna do pigtail braids to hide it. We were all staying at this cottage in LA owned by one of Char’s friends, like a vacation house. It was huge, had 16 beds, the rooms were only accessible by ladder. Each room had 3 beds, were more like balconies really. Two rooms next to each other, then two on top, and two on top, etc. Mel was sick and crying in one, Kendra and Sarah and Emily in another. Nobody wanted to room with mel and I did, but I also wanted to be with other people. Went to the room above, found Charlotte in there crying about some computer game her friend wanted us all to play.
