Izaya’s used to seeing people get hurt. It doesn’t bother him, in fact, he relishes in it. But not this time, this time is different. This time he experiences the full brute of human emotions himself—what it means to truly care for someone...

Aezel held the wound in her stomach. She watched the blood slipping through her hands like an observer to a dream.A moment later did she feel the effects on her body—the blood draining from her face, the air getting heavy but light at the same time, the cold shiver tingling up her body.

She slumped to the floor, the realization that she had been mortally wounded—that the fragile barrier humans keep throughout their lives had been shattered—hit her with grueling cruelty.

She sunk into the pavement, her body becoming one with the blood that poured out of her.

“Aezel! Aezel!” Izaya cried in panic.

In her fading mind, Aezel had a sharp awareness of the hysteria in Izaya’s voice. It was the first time she had heard Izaya panic before, a thing she never thought possible. She would’ve laughed, if the muscles necessary to do so were not torn.

Acutely, she felt Izaya’s hands on her body. She had another delirious thought. So this is what it takes to get him to touch me.

“Stay with me, stay with me dammit!” he shouted, the panic in his voice rising.

She imagined his wide eyes—the look he got in his face when for one, fractal moment something happened that was not a part of his master plan—and found herself smiling. She loved seeing that little bit of vulnerability. It was in those rare moments that she actually felt like she was looking at him. She wished she could see it now. Again, she almost laughed at the irony that the expression was the result of her own demise.

As she laid there watching her blood pour out into the street, her heart overfilled with love for the man. Each pounding of her uninhibited dying heart only made the feelings rush faster.

These feelings were not a shock to her. She’d known them. From the first day they met she’d known them. And they’d only quietly sprouted over the few weeks she’d gotten to know him. This man who was so villainized by everyone–he was the one she wanted to put on the highest pedestal. She’d seen his childish side, his malicious side, his sweet side, and she had loved all of it. As if a second wound had opened up in her heart, she was consumed by the sensation of loving him. She knew that there was one thing she must do before she left this planet.

Quietly, she reached for his hand.“Izaya,” she said, “Aishiteru.”

She faded into the darkness with a smile on her face.

Izaya watched the attack happen in slow motion. The stranger had come out of nowhere, and before Izaya could react he had had the knife jammed in her stomach.

The blood drained from Izaya’s face at the same time it did hers.

As she fell onto the pavement, he felt all the walls of his fortress tumble.Bare, and exposed, pure primal instincts drove him from this point out.

He crashed to the ground next to her. “Aezel! Aezel!” he screamed.

He watched the blood pouring out of her stomach, feeling as if the seconds of his own life were ticking by.

The more the blood leaked, the more the panic rose.

He watched the beautiful colour drain from her face.

“Stay with me! Stay with me dammit!” His voice sounded foreign to him. This strange new feeling took over ever part of his body. What is this… panic?

He grabbed onto her shoulders, hoping the action would somehow keep her in her body for one moment longer.

He realized, at that moment, like stepping away from a fire on a cold summer night, how warm she had made him feel.

She had amused him, yes, he’d known that, to the point where he wanted to spend more time observing her than any other human. But now he could see it was more than that. It wasn’t just observing her, he wanted to be with her. The times they’d spent together had lit him up from the inside out, like a lamp turning on after years of disuse. Her presence was one he felt safe in—recognized in—like for once the very human he loved to observe could see him back. The real him. And it was a feeling so caring and free. He was not the villain in her eyes, no matter how many times he tried to make it so, he was simply him. Izaya Orihara. Just another human.

The truth was obvious to him now. She was the first human he’d ever cared for.

And now he was going to watch that human go.

“Somebody! Somebody call an ambulance!” he shouted, addressing the crowd for probably the first time as a fellow crowd-dweller.

He reached into his pocket to pull out his own phone, his hand shaking as he dialed the numbers.

He dropped the phone a moment later as Aezel’s poor, trembling hand reached toward his.

At the touch of her skin on his he felt boiled up tears reach his eyes.

He leaned into her, doing his best to dam the roiling waves that rose in his body.

“Izaya,” she whispered, “I love you.”

He shook as he held onto her fading form. “I know, damnit. I know.”

Three Ships

Wangxian (Lan Wangji x Wei Wuxian) - Listen, it's not one of the most popular popular ships on ao3 for nothing (67k+ works, wow!). I'm a sucker for these soulmate type ships and with these two you get like, ShB levels of emotional damage while going through it. AND LWJ'S SMILE! 3. RinHaru - I'm pretty much throwing a dart at the dartboard to pick the last one but during the rein of the swimming boys, I was pretty avid RinHaru fan. I've literally not interacted with the Free fandom in years tho, I've graduated the sports anime bl and moved on to sword bl (danmei) lol.

As a cute little bonus I'll mention that I'm currently very into Canon x OC stuff! Like any ffxiv npc(s) x WoL or stuff like that! You'll get stuff catered directly to you (but you sadly have to cook your own stuff).

First ever ship: Augggghhh my memory is so bad uhhhh maybe Kyoraku x Ukitake? Bleach was like, my 3rd anime ever and I instantly fell in love with their dynamic. Old man yaoi real... (no we do not talk about what happens later in the story I'm living in denial)

Currently reading: Lie Huo Jiao Chou (Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire). I watched the donghua version some time ago and have been slowly chipping away at reading the original novel ever since.

Currently watching: Second season of tgcf! I've managed to dodge spoilers beyond like, first book so far so I'm really curious to see how the story is going to go~

Currently Consuming: Mango lychee green tea and some not that good cranberry white chocolate cookies. Should've bought the triple chocolate ones :/

I'm going to be posting my plot bunnies here. I'll post five ideas at a time. Enjoy part 1 of my plot bunnies.

Title: lonely souls no longer lonely.

Fandoms: Danny phantom. Durarara!!

Plot Summary.

Danny has to leave home because it's no longer safe for him.

In this fanfic Danny was adopted by the fentons when he was 3 years old. He is actually the illegitimate son of Orihara Shirou and is Orihara izaya's little half brother that he has no idea about or that he knows exists in the first place.

The rest of this fic would be focusing on Danny just trying to survive in the City of Ikebukuro. But he keeps getting mistaken for izaya.

(Update, there have been major changes that I have decided to make. I realized my original version didn't really have much of a story so I'm redoing it and actually making a story. It's not going to exactly match what I describe here. It's also the same for my other stories too.)

Title: x marks the spot.

Fandoms: Danny Phantom. Teen Titans.

Plot Summary.

It is no longer safe for the Fenton siblings so they leave their home dimension and they go to the DC universe.

There were some complications leading to Danny and his clone Ellie becoming babies at age 1 or 6 months.

And the title says it all (well at least the former one. I've decided to go with this title just because it's better than my original one.) Jazz is Red X in this, 50/50 if Jazz is gender fluid which would explain the more masculine appearance of Red X.

It's mainly just bamf jazz, she's raising her kids, kicking ass, and stealing stuff from evil corporations in Rich assholes.

50/50 if it is jazz x dick, but we'll just have to see.

The story would pick up where the Teen Titans cartoon ended. Perhaps the black and white monster could have been a ghost, maybe one connected to Danny and Ellie? Maybe we learn why Tara came back. FYI I know that there's a Teen Titans comic called Teen Titans go not the same as that cartoon, it's set in the original series. Point is I'm not following the comics, I'm going to do my own thing instead.

Title: Again.

Fandoms: Durarara!! Ark survival evolved.

Plot Summary.

Izaya Orihara wakes up on a mysterious Island inhabited by creatures long extinct and creatures of myth.

He is shocked to find his rival shizuo that he hasn't seen in 3 years. He finds him as an old man in his fifties.

So he spends the next 10 years repairing the relationship with shizuo and figuring out what the hell happened, only for him to wake up again on a mysterious Island younger and with shizuo coming onto the island the very next day.

(Update, so at the time I posted this I didn't know as much about Ark lore. I did some research and I realize I had some things wrong, so it's not going to be exactly like how I mentioned it here.)

Don't have very much for the story except the ocs end up adopting izaya and shizuo as their new parents. The ocs are similar to izaya and shizuo.

It's a Shizaya kid fic.

K - which character has the best/ your favorite development arc?

Me: *gets this question* *forgets every piece of media I've ever watched*

Honestly I wanted to say Subaru at first but I feel like that's not rly an unbiased answer since 90% of his character regression development happens off screen. Out of clamp characters I think Fai would be most suitable answer for question like this. Aside from Clamp characters maybe I'd put Richard from Requeim of rose king since his character tragedy is top notch 👌 no comfort in this house, just hurt.

Also I love Kamui's character arc even tho it has no epilogue - it's extremely rare to have MC tough, self reliant and OP af in beginning only for his character development (and trauma) to make him soften and be more... human dare I say? Ofc that has to do with a fact X is shojo not shonen, but I rly can't recall character that has such inversion of how character developments tend to go...

U - three favorite characters from three different fandoms and why are they your favorite?

Just one clamp character? 😟 listen, I go awww cutie such angsty baby whenever I see Kamui or Subaru, but there's something about 😎 that makes me go unhinged

Also I didn't spend my teen years in drrr!!! fandom to nor include trash bag Izaya here. He's actually... well, anime didn't do him justice. Tbf it didn't do any characters justice, all of them are far more complex and flashed out in novels. Ik he's and asshole and has hardcore issues, but deep down his mental cage is just, very sad to me. When he says he loves all humans he actually means he doesn't love anyone - he can only bond with then via observation (and sometimes playing fucked up mind games with them). Keeps himself at emotional distance because deep down he's emotionally fragile and doesn't know how to handle rejection so he avoids humanity altogether.

As for third, I'm really not sure who to pick... since I'm apperently only including bastard babygirls on this list and since I rejoined kuroshituji fandom let's add Sebastian here. Them manipulate manslaughter manwhore malewife attributes bewitched me <3

W - a trope you're virtually certain to hate in any fandom

Coffee shop AU. Actually just AUs in general unless - 1) they're complete crack 2) they're smut 3)they're extremely well thought and actually connected to canon somehow. I'm always for character being, well, in character and circumstances do shape the individual significantly. So characters being pulled out of those circumstances entirely would sort of be like having characters that just look the same and share the name - basically step away from OCs

Beside AUs I'm not a fan of romanticized amatonormative tropes, like soulmates tropes. I guess alot of my aversion towards those has to do with me not believing in true love and romance being something magical so those tropes get tad bit too unrealistic for me to enjoy
