"We have this plastic alternative company that won the Earthshot Prize and they make these things for stadiums to replace hot dog and burger packaging, and (Prince William's) called *starts chuckling* all the individual owners of all the football stadiums in the UK and is almost done replacing all the plastic in stadiums in the UK personally."

The thought of Jason Knauf giving an interview pushed Sparry's IBLW over the edge 😳🤪 Is she merching collegiate sweatshirts for Nordstrom's department store? How much will she make for each IG view?
FYI: She actually wanted to attend Princeton but they rejected her. Lucky escape for the ivies.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Reaction to Prince William Hiring Jason Knauf
It seems like some plans can be royally painful. Prince William just hired the aide who accused Meghan Markle of bullying, and the decision was reportedly deliberate to make his brother, Prince Harry, mad. It was announced on April 17 that Prince William appointed Jason Knauf as the CEO of his initiative, Earthshot Prize. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News, “Prince William’s decision…

2 Times articles you might be interested in, RTA. 1) "What will change when William is king? By royal insiders" by Kate Mansey. 2) "BBC faces fresh scrutiny over Diana interview scandal in new book" by David Brown. Sorry RTA, I don't know how to archive it in the way you prefer but I enjoyed reading those 2 articles nevertheless!
Archived Link. Some quotes:
“It’s this reinvention,” says Jason Knauf, a former aide who is now CEO of the Earthshot prize. “How do you communicate to the generation that you serve? And it has to be different. It’s not change for change’s sake, but a question of how you’re going to cut through in a world where people are consuming things much more in terms of images than anything else.” William’s staff talk about “impact” and “scale” when describing his work. But what do these buzzwords mean to Prince William? And, perhaps most important of all, what sort of king does he intend to be when the time comes?
(Very important point by Knauf here, IMO - monarchy needs to adapt to modern times, which means serving modern generations, not historical tradition. There's a time and place for historic traditions, many of which I do hope William keeps, but the monarchy cannot succeed if it lives exclusively in history. It has to be present.)
“He’s not one for long meetings or going around the same thing again,” he says. “I’ve often heard him say, ‘There’s been too much talk about that. We need to see some action.’ He is friendly to deal with and personable. [But] you really wouldn’t want to go and tell him, ‘We’ve got absolutely nowhere in stopping elephant ivory being sold.’ He wants to know that you’re getting results.”
Kate has always seen her role as a supporting one. She is understood to have been inspired by the late Duke of Edinburgh, who made an individual contribution while being very clear that his role was to support the monarch. For Kate, that means acting as a gatekeeper to ensure that William can do his work while also finding time to be a hands-on father, and that everyone understands that this is the deal. It’s “the long game”. She is said to be allergic to any PR gimmicks — and there have been several — that have been suggested to her over the years. When the princess spoke on camera from a bench in Windsor about her diagnosis last March, it was her idea. Ditto when she released that video after completing chemotherapy...She’s hugely influential behind the scenes in hiring and decision-making and they approach it as a team. Like the late Queen and Prince Philip, and the King and Queen, they’re a good double act.”
Like William discussing Aston Villa, there will be tactics at play and sometimes the job will be done wearing trainers. William has said that he wants to carry out his role “with a smaller ‘r’ in the royal”, a clear signpost to the way he and Kate will use subtle but significant means to modernise the institution. But traditionalists should fear not, says Knauf. “They’re pretty conservative about this stuff,” he says. “Compared with some of the advice that they’ve been given [and dismissed] over the years, it’s still pretty royal.”
Archived Link. Some quotes:
Andy Webb, who uncovered Bashir’s deceit, forced the BBC to release 10,000 pages of documents relating to the original scandal and the attempts to keep it secret. His book, Dianarama — Deception, Entrapment, Cover-up: The Betrayal of Princess Diana, will be published in November, on the 30th anniversary of the Panorama interview. It is said to contain “material never seen before”, obtained from the BBC’s archives after a lengthy legal battle under freedom of information laws.
Webb said: “This is a story I have been investigating for over 30 years. The TV documentary I made in 2020 brought the scandal into the public eye and it helped answer many questions Diana’s family had struggled to find answers for. “What really happened to Diana is something historians will pore over for centuries to come. My findings are a true first draft of history.”
How to archive with the Internet Archive / Wayback Machine
(I prefer the Internet Archive/archive.org over archive.today because archive.today is blocked by a lot of firewalls and security apps. I can only access archive.today links on my phone and there are other anons who also can't access those links. But if you like archive.today, that's great but I won't post your links unless I can also get an Internet Archive link too for those of us who can't access it.)

“I could maybe have a bit of respect for William if he sat down for an interview himself to paint himself as the victim of his father’s cancer, excitedly look forward to his passing and let the public know that he won’t be letting being a Monarch interfere with his downtime. Instead he had Jason Knauf do it for him. Spineless.” - Submitted by Anonymous

red herrings and double standards for Jason Knauf
The people criticizing Jason Knauf are conveniently leaving out that Meghan "forgot" (i.e., lied) about their emails collaborating on Finding Freedom. Red herring alert.
Both Meghan and Associated Newspapers asked Knauf to testify, from what I read. Even if William had any input, it was not "realising him from NDA," it was William leaking or being the evil caricature they've made him out to be. Knuaf was asked by other parties; he was essentially compelled to testify and did not have a choice. William certainly had no control or sway in the situation; he was not involved at all. If they talked about it, I'd wager, it was that Knauf had to comply with legal requests--Knauf had no choice, William certainly had no control over it.
And yeah, Knauf was probably ok'd by William to do the 60 Minutes Australia. To talk about the events and their effects on Wales over the last year. So what? Why can't they do that? It's more transparent that the "leaks" they complain about. The Sussexes have a whole comms/PR team, press surrogates, and leak constantly. They did an interview with Oprah. They made millions of dollars trashing their family on Netflix and with Harry's book. But the Wales can't send their surrogate out for a 30 minute interview after what seems was the most brutal year of their lives, understandably.
Just more double standards that completely excuse the Sussexes' behavior and make the Wales family terrible somehow, over what really is a nothingburger.

so meghan wanted things done her way for her wedding and the aides are trying to paint her as a bully... that's what im getting from the leaks. also, reprimanding a florist bcus he ran to the press to promote himself and leak secrete info abt your flowers doesnt paint you as a monster. so far all the examples are meghan reacting to ppl messing with her... am i the only one who doesnt find that bad?
It wasn't even about Meghan wanting things done her way. She had a woman working for her, Melissa Toubati. Melissa had zero previous experience as a PA and lied on her resume to get the job (which is actually illegal in the UK). She was doing the bulk of the wedding stuff. She was later let go for gross misconduct, and, turns out, she was close personal friends with Jason Knauf. It's obvious that all of the "Meghan was a bully" stories have come from this Melissa. Melissa was the one who kept fucking up and making mistakes, because her friend got her a job she had no buisness having, and then she couldn't handle Meghan not taking her poor performance. I have serious doubts that Meghan, who had up until this point, been known for her genuine kindness, would be unfairly nasty towards her assistant. Sounds like the assistant went crying to Jason that her big bad boss actually expected her to do her job, and he amplified every menial complaint she ever made about her boss.
As for Meghan calling up a florist, no way in hell Meghan personally made a phone call. Did someone from the palace? Possibly. But why would Meghan, the day before her wedding, call up a florist to scream at him for 30 minutes over a social media post? That's ridiculous. Also, Meghan used her wedding florist after her wedding (Philips funeral arrangement and Lilis first birthday party), and the florist has had nothing but wonderful things to say about her.

Lol, how many more stupid decisions Lee will need to take in order to be fired by W? Kp will never take the leaking accusations away by ‘ok-eying’ former staff taking about how Great W is, what kind of amazing king he is destined to be. And this is definitely approved by Lee and William, people who think otherwise are fools.
Last week they were basically confirming that they are behind many articles by admitting that Lee went to the press behind K’s back to say the stuff about Kate’s clothes, now this.
I came with the the conclusion that because W doesn’t have any work ethic, zero projects that are actually helping UK people (not his environmental stuff who isn’t helping the average Joe not his empty promises to end homelessness), zero talents, etc…. The only thing his PR has to ‘sell’ him is as the ‘most down to the earth guy, who will have lots of connection with people’ (so down to the earth that he is in second vacation and so willing to create connection with people by doing 150 engagements and only connected with environment and mental health other people with other interests aren’t on his agenda to create connections with them). Also, I don’t know who was the one that one day said that W just wanted to see ‘change’ for the sake to feel himself useful even if that means that he is clueless or is a bad decision, but Knauf’s words (which are agreed by KP) confirmed that, he wants to reinvent the wheel, just because he feels the people out there are different and are demanding it, and because his ancestors changed things too 🤡
Tumblr media
Just HOW BAD are things behind closed doors at KP when the comms team reaches out to do a puff piece for 60 Minutes Australia?
Tumblr media
Is William even preparing? Are they going to address that he does not do the basics of his job, and other people much older than him have to pick up the slack? William could have gone to the Dresden 80th, but instead he chose to fly off to Mustique the day before, leaving the NINETY-YEAR-OLD Duke of Kent to do the job.
I can't wait to see how they sidestep how William hasn't done a major funeral yet, even though opportunities such as Jimmy Carter's funeral were available. I'm sure KP comms team worked to keep that tidbit out of the puff piece.
youtube
"What you see is what you get." ~ Jason Knauf
Oh, really? That sounds like a famous last words statement if I've ever heard one. Jason wouldn't need to be sitting down for an interview like this for his boss if William wasn't hiding something from the public. There is literally no need for a puff piece to remind everyone that William is going to be king one day. Everyone already knows that. Unless... Unless peeps at KP are worried something might happen to jeopardize William's place in the line of succession.
"It's very difficult to have this stuff play out in the public eye." ~ Jason Knauf
Yes, and what is IT that you're worried about being "play[ed] out in the public eye." Shouldn't this piece be about how Kate has recovered, and how Will & Kate are going to be doing more as royals? You know, do their actual jobs?! Interesting how this preview is centered around reminding people that William is going to be king. What kind of "stuff" is KP worried about being "play[ed] out in the public eye?"
Tumblr media
And then there's the obligatory "what about Harry?" card. Well, Harry's going to be initiating a divorce this year/spring, so he's going to be coming back home to the UK, regardless of whether people like it or not.
But, yes, this is 1,000,000% KP-sponsored, puff piece. All royal employees have signed NDAs for their employment. NDAs do not have magic expiration dates. We learned that when Valentine Low was writing about the blistering effect Harry's current wife had on the people who worked for her. For Jason to be speaking on camera like this means that he is doing so solely at the behest of Kensington Palace.
And let's not forget that Jason Knauf is still indirectly employed by Kensington Palace. Jason is an active director for The Earthshot Prize. Can't wait to see if they mention Jason is still in the employment of KP or describe him solely as a "former employee."
Tumblr media
So what is it that has the Kensington Palace comms team so spooked that they're arranging puff pieces to ensure William will remain the heir to the throne? Is "it" the proper pronoun? I suspect "it" is not.
No wonder KP comms team keeps looking at my blog. (Allegedly) They're not going to get any decent ideas on how to prepare for their upcoming scandal by looking at the Wales fandom's constant, fantasyland hagiographies. I told you guys to get new jobs while you still could. Sucks to be you!
Is it still six more weeks of winter or are we down to four weeks yet? Asking for a friend...

This isn't new but it is evergreen, and I will happily repost it every chance I get. As a reminder that this email from Jason Knauf was submitted to the High Court as a part of the Meghan's case against the Daily Mail.
Informal accounts such as these are ten a penny, but what really blew the issue of Meghan’s treatment of her staff into the public sphere was the leaking of a complaint against Meghan to the London Times reporter, Valentine Low.
In October 2018 he wrote an email to Simon Case, then Prince William’s private secretary, saying: “I am very concerned that the duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable.” He added: “The duchess seems intent on having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behaviour towards Y.”

Hello Celta, I saw the 60 Minutes Australia interview with Jason Knauf. Do you think you could do a reading on how Harry feels about that interview? Lady C said it was a masterclass interview of "reputational assassination" except I don't think Harry is intelligent enough to read between the lines. I'm sure William was fine with Jason speaking out but it would also be interesting to get William's view/feeling on how he felt Jason's 60 minute interview went as well. Take care, Celta. :)
Hi Nonny,
I can do a reading about that interview. I agree with you that Harry is not intelligent enough to read between the lines.
Thank you for your concern. You take care as well, Nonny. :)
