So I'm reaching her but if we take the writer's word for it Mariner and Captain Ramsey are exes from their academy days and she did go out with Jen the Andorian in season 2.

And she's really friendly with T'Lyn these last couple of episodes.

Well she just need to make it official with T'Lyn and get an Tellarite girlfriend at some point and she'll have an collection of all the founding federation species as partners.

Now I type this out it seems overly silly. Ah well.

Like I understand that it's not like a major part of the plot, but isn't Mariner supposed to be in a relationship with Jennifer now? I know it's only been two episodes but they haven't even mentioned her once. Like, idk but if my girlfriend's mom was getting charged with the destruction of an entire planet, I would want to be there for her and maybe spend time with her? Just a thought.

I've posted this before but it's still on my mind.

We need a beckett x jennifer coda or just more beckett x jennifer.

I don't necessarily want them to get back together. It would be amazingly hard for Mariner to open up to her again but I want it addressed and settled even if it's just a confirmation that they can be okay and professional with each other.

Like the promotion thing gives an opportunity. Like Ransom teaches Mariner a lesson in command by throwing them together or something.

This image was a gift to DA member , who wanted to see the central characters of Star Trek: Lower Decks celebrating his birthday.  The result is more or less what he wanted to see, with the four central characters (plus one addition, which I'm sure he didn’t mind) in their dress uniforms, surprising him with a birthday party.  Of course, when he told me what he wanted, an idea immediately popped into my head.  Never being one to pass up an opportunity to get a rise out of the room, Mariner decides to deliver a birthday surprise of her own.  As you can see among the others, the reactions are rather mixed. And yes, for the record, I copy/pasted my drawing over an already existing background from the show that I got off the internet, and I apologize to absolutely no one for it.  With all the work I put into this piece already (the end result being something I'm quite proud of), trying to come up with some kind of background from scratch, if I didn't need to, just felt silly to me.  Regardless, I hope you all like what you see. ^_^
