He always hugs you from behind, and it always makes you smile.

He is completely in love with you, and anyone could see it from a mile away

Conrad and Stephen tease him for being a ’simp’ but it never stops him.

Before you were dating you mentioned how dates nowadays suck, you get a text from the guy, you drove yourself to the place, you talk for two hours and then repeat the next time. You wanted a real date, where you get flowers and he opened the door for you,etc.

Jere being jere he remembers this, on your first date he knocked on your door and when you answered there he was, your favourite flowers in hand, in a dress shirt. “Will you go out with me?” He smiled. You smiled so wide you giggled, you nodded. He opened your door for you, played your favourite music, and drove you to your favourite restaurant. It was perfect. And when he dropped you off at home, he made sure you were thinking the same thing, and he kissed you on the porch.

Dates would include: movie nights cuddled on the couch, late night swims, picnics on the beach at sunset. Dancing around the kitchen whilst you both baked cookies. Going down to the boardwalk.

Whenever you saw him he would have something for you, a printed picture of the two of you, he would write notes on the back (I love you or Hi :) or I think you’re cute, etc) or a flower he’d picked. Normally small things but sometimes it’d be jewellery or his hoodie.

He Is clingy and loves cuddles.

He would def drop anything he was doing to hang out with you, he once even stopped playing games with Steven just to go hug you.

He would tell you you’re beautiful, gorgeous, hot, cute. Funny, smart, etc all the time, and what’s better is he really believed all of those things and you could hear it in his voice.

He would always put on your necklaces for you and then he’d lean down and kiss your collar bone or your shoulder.

You went overseas for a while to visit an old friend and when you came back home, he met you at the airport, and had made a big sign with your name on it. He dropped it as soon as he saw you, you ran to each other and he lifted you off the ground spinning you around as soon as you made contact. You wrapped your legs around his waist and kissed. It had only been 2 weeks but it felt like a lifetime.

Whenever you made out, he would always pull you in by your waist.

When it rained he’d always insist on going out and dancing in it. You’d dance and splash each other forever until you went blue in the lips and he pulled you back inside. You’d both go get into warm clothes and make some hot chocolate. He’d push the couch right up to the window and you’d sit there, watching the rain and you’d read to him

You’d often talk for so long the stars would turn to sunrise unbeknownst to the two of you.

He would teach you how to play his video games, and even when you struggled he never became irritated, he’d help you and say “it’s okay, you’re still better than Stephan.” Which always made you laugh.

You’d teach him your hobbies and you would take turns picking movies.

Often he would hold your hand and brush your cheek or push hair behind your ear.

He lived for cuddles, you’d fall asleep on his chest when watching a movie or watching him play a game, he wouldn’t dare move.

He always kissed you and hugged you when you wore his hoodies or shirts.

You liked stargazing and he’d join you to keep you company.

For your birthday he gave you a huge box filled to the brim with photos of you two together, and a necklace with his initial on it (your favourite Taylor swift song) most of the day was spent with him helping you put the photos up on your wall in a collage. And then driving around to get all your favourite snacks and watching your favourite movie.

When you got a good grade or learned how to cook something new, any new accomplishment, no matter the size. He always kissed you on your head and congratulate you.

You enjoyed cooking and often made him dinner, he’d always hug you from behind and stay there the entire time you were in the kitchen and claim he was helping. You didn’t mind.

You were comfortable being silly with him.

He would always wait to do everything with you, never wanted you to feel left out.

He’d kiss you at midnight on New Year’s.

He let you play with his hair or paint his nails, he didn’t mind. 

You went to pride marches with him, you knew he was bi and supported him fully. He was nervous coming out to you at first but quickly realized that you loved him no matter what. When you hugged him so tightly and told him he never had to be scared talking about it with you.

When you were on your period He would give you a hot water bottle and buy your favourite chocolate.

Sometimes he’d scare you, hide behind the door frame when you got home. You would jump and scream every time, and then you’d laugh as he hugged you. You quickly learned to get him back.

When you cried he would let you talk it out and hug you like the world was ending. He would always listen so carefully.

When he cried, which wasn’t often, you would hold him tightly. You knew he didn’t like talking about this stuff but you let him know you were there to listen anyway.

You weren’t that close to your family but the fishers slowly became family. You would go to dinner with Susannah, Conrad and Jeremiah at least once a week.

jeremiah’s retriever-y sunshine personality is obvious. we know that, it’s clear and cute. but it’s partially an act to get his real needs for attention met and to shield himself from rejection. he’s often felt overlooked thanks to adam. adam was never a great or super present father to begin with, to either boys. but he focused on conrad more at times, and it was like living in conrad's shadow. so jere goes after anything that conrad likes in the attempt to do it better. this doesn’t mean jeremiah doesn’t love his brother, cause he does. like conrad himself has gone out of his way to praise jere. but jere can be jealous. he also seeks attention, he's the guy who smiles whether he's happy or not. when he's happy, his brain's already made the connection that he draws more people in this way. he does this as a way of compensating for the lack of attention that he wanted in the areas he didn't have it in.

because why would've he felt the need to try and be better or to be like his brother and have what he has.... if he felt like he already had those things, too? yeah, he admires him, he looks up to him in so many ways. but there is this jealousy that stands out and that doesn't stem from admiration. it's also not like he would've wanted to have all of the attention from his dad, definitely not, he just wanted it to be fair. he never wanted to take it away from con. so, it's not that he was forcing himself to be something he’s not, he is easygoing and bright, jeremiah is really good with people, he’s magnetic. but, he’d try to be this way at times even when he didn’t feel good or happy. it’s not him being deliberately insincere or fake though.

just because he’s good with people, doesn’t mean he always knows people. he thinks he knows them. he wants to be the person anyone may need him to be at any moment, but i think he often fails at it without even realizing it. in a way where he wants situations to work out, where he wants everyone to be pleased, not in a toxic way, and definitely not in a dangerous way. jeremiah’s aim isn’t solely to make himself happy, but it’s also to make others happy around him. in others eyes, they see someone who does a good job at making others happy. in some way…. i even feel like part of belly almost thought that she should “love” him for this... because he was safe. because he was jeremiah. because she'd know he'd always be there.

but like picture jeremiah getting older, maturing, recognizing and working through these real issues ( which he does here because i’m deeply developing his post-canon stuff ), belly and him would have never worked out. because although he loves her, she's his best friend, not a single cell in my body believes either of them should’ve let it get as far as they did. like jeremiah needs to be with someone who doesn't have such entrenched ties to his brother in a romantic way because that jealousy and need to do more will always be there. as best friends, and loving her as a best friend, it won't be there. he can properly work out his shit in the future this way. at the age that they all were while in the midst of teenage drama, and then when they found out about susannah being sick again, they were all way too young to really sift through and take apart any of their tendencies and personalities.

Com o passar dos anos você desenvolveu um certo amor pelo garoto dos cabelos encaracolados e olhos perfeitamente azuis, porém ele nunca iria saber se dependesse da sua coragem para confessar, porém a ideia de perde-lo para uma garota mais extrovertida ainda rodeava sua cabeça. 

Nesse verão vocês não eram mais crianças inocentes ou almas sensíveis. E Jeremiah claramente estava na idade de querer pegar toda e qualquer garota, algo que incomodava seus sentimentos mas você disfarçava perfeitamente. 

Era dia de Fogueira no Cousins, e você claramente não perderia. Após um longo tempo se arrumando apenas para chamar a atenção de um único garoto, você saiu as pressas de casa e foi diretamente para a praia... E rapidamente se arrependeu. 

Ele e Belly pareciam que se beijariam à qualquer momento. Os toques prolongados, os sussurros, o braço passado na cintura ou por cima do ombro da Conklin fizeram seu estômago revirar, mas você apenas desviou o olhar e foi conversar com Steven que também parecia um irmão coruja bem incomodado. 

── olha só que atrevido. ── Steven sussurrou quando você se aproximou. O rapaz tinha os braços cruzados e uma carranca no rosto. ── espero que ele tire aquela mão da cintura da minha irmã. 

Você apenas riu baixinho do leve surto que Steven estava tendo em relação à irmã, mas no fundo do seu coração, a sensação era a mesma que o Conklin sentia. 

A noite foi passando e vô decidiu que passar tempo com o Steven falando suas idiotices era bem melhor do que olhar de vez em quando para o garoto que você estava secretamente apaixonada, mas quando Steven encontrou uma distração diferente, você foi deixada sozinha sentada beira mar encarando as ondas. 

O barulho da 'festa' foi abafado quando o oceano saltou por cima, molhando seus pés descalços que brincavam levemente com a areia. Você não teve tempo de ouvir quando alguns passos chegaram até você e pararam ao seu lado. Logo o garoto se acomodou ao seu lado, aquele garoto.

Em um rápido movimento você já estava de pé e limpando a areia de seu vestido, pronta para ir embora.

Basically, Susannah had to go to the doctors for her treatment which means she'll be out for the whole day which also means she had to take one of your brother's with you which turns out to be Conrad!

She already told Jeremiah that you will be staying at home with him and let me tell you HE WAS THE MOST EXCITED PERSON IN THE WORLD

The moment he knew, he immediately thought about what to do with you like playing games and swimming and all of that just to pass time.

When you wake up, there's already food ready for you in the kitchen with his famous smoothie.

After you eat, he would basically just tells you to get ready for today because he PLANNED A LOT. He knows that you get bored easily so he mad sure that he has a lot of options.

You were near his age so he kinda knows what you generation likes, so you guys do get along better than Conrad. I mean you and Conrad still get a long but Jeremiah was like the best friend kind of type.

This was kinda your guys routine whenever it would be the two of you that'll be the one who will stay at home. Jeremiah always had a list already planned out for you guys, it was never the same. Jeremiah is an interesting man so he does a lot of interesting things.

He's the type to try something new, if he tried it and he likes it he'd want you to try it too. He is also a good listener so If you tell him that you wanted to try something new, he will make sure to include that in his list when you guys will be left alone again at home.

You and him would basically play playstation games like half of the day. He's got game spread out on the table and would let you choose what game you want to play, it would always be sims but it's okay because it's fun for him to build houses with you.

IT MADE HIM EXCITED when you wanted to know his recipe for his smoothie. He immediately stopped whatever he is doing and pulled you to the kitchen to teach you how to make his smoothie.

He also loves teaching you surf, because it has become a hobby of his. Conrad didn't have the time because he was in and out of college so Jeremiah couldn't really surf with anyone but when he knew that you wanted to surf, he immediately offered to teach you how to surf

Overall, Jeremiah is a fun brother. He listens and is always down to do new things with you. He is always excited when you would do stuff that he also does, well because you guys are near in age so you guys have the same interests most of the time which just makes him so happy. Not only does he have a sister but he also gained a best friend.
