we know how much he loves his cats so i assume that he cuddles with them ALOT

but now that you’ve become apart of his life, hes kinda like “????”

bcuz hes just so used to cuddling with 2 small cats how is he supposed to do this with a full grown human!!!

like the first time you guys cuddle, he’d be really awkward and would constantly be fidgeting which made you fidget so its just a never ending cycle of fidgeting bcuz neither of you are comfortable

you had to suppress your laugh bcuz he was genuinely confused about it and you had to guide him through basic cuddling

hyunbin waddles towards the bed bcuz hes just that tired and flops onto it, making you bounce a little from the impact

he would crawl up and plop himself onto you, his face on your tummy and his arms wrapped around you

you would go and pet his hair, pinching his cheeks a little so that he would look up

he would lift his head with big puppy eyes, his chin now resting against you 

“cmon you big baby. your feet are hanging off the bed”

he just shoves his face back into your tummy groaning, the vibrations tickling you a little

then out of nowhere, he would prop himself up to hover over you and attack your neck and face with kisses

this is the same thing as having to calm down your dog that’s way too excited to see you lol

he’d finally stop and roll over to the side of the bed

his arms would be out, a big smile stretched across his face

you’d roll your eyes but smile immediately after, knowing what he wants

you saw him walk in empty handed and smiled

will not hesitate to jump onto the bed

“oh ym god how are you not tired enough yet to do this”

he would drag his body up and hover over you with a stupid smile on his face

honestly you cant really stay mad at him for too long, so you just smiled too

he’d lean down to kiss you a couple times and then grab your body, rolling it so you could be on top of him

you guys dont always fall asleep cuddling, but whenever you dont, donghan always ends up wrapping his arms around you

“It all happens again.”

Agent Seo held her breath for a minute before turning to Dango, the girl had listened to their conversation silently. There was no sign of emotion on her face—cold and distant, torn between blaming herself or Kang Daniel. She had leaned back against her chair only to send another message to the double agent.

She said through the microphone, “We’ll send back up once you resolve the inside.”

“They’ll die in there.” Agent Seo intervened, “We lost Noh Tae Hyun and the girl. You see what she can do, there’s not enough time to create a diversion and search for the missing two.”

“We send back up after,” Dango breathes in, “I trust that the two aren’t far from the quarters.”

“Jun,” Tae Hyun says, “do you remember anything else besides Dango?”

He shakes his head slowly, yet he spoke, “I remember it vaguely after she left the operating room another person entered. I didn’t know her, but she took me in her unit until I recovered from the damage in my eye.”

“Besides Dango, I can’t regain any other memory. Perhaps it would only be understandable since I don’t remember you, but you do know me.” He said. The girl kept quiet as Tae Hyun held her close to him, she was too weak to stand or properly function. He looked over to Jun and told him, “I need you to remember.”

Tae Hyun quickly searches for a phone or anything that could contact Dango. He punches in her name only to see it saved in Jun’s phone. He asked, “You haven’t called her?”

“I forgot about her, I only remembered after seeing her.” Jun points to the only female in the room. He added, “I couldn’t remember her even if I tried.”

Tae Hyun saw the pain lingering in Jun’s eyes and could only imagine how broken he was in those days of trying so hard to regain even a bit of his memory. He then called her number and handed the phone to the latter.

Dango shifted her gaze to the ringing phone on the desk and quickly answered the call without looking at the ID displayed on the screen. She listened to the heavy breathing from the other line almost dropping the call when she heard his hoarse voice. She hadn’t heard him talk in such a long time and had kept her mouth shut since there were no words escaping from her.

“Dango,” he starts, “It’s Junhui.”

He was expecting for a female voice to answer, but there was none. He looked at Tae Hyun only to tell Dango, “I’m sorry I haven’t called you, I didn’t remember anything. But every night I could hear the same voice repeating itself like a song—it was your voice—perhaps, I was hallucinating, I believe I was.”

“I need you to talk to me, Dango.” He pleaded until finally she questioned him, “Why?”

He had waited for her to ask him how he was still alive, rather than why he was and he couldn’t find an answer to her question. On the other line, Dango let out a shaky breath trying to suppress her own emotions because she was afraid, but she couldn’t be. She repeated, “Why now?”

Jun kept his mouth shut only to listen to her voice crack, “I’m hacking into the quarters, hand the phone to Tae Hyun.”

Slowly—defeated and lost—he handed the phone back to the other male and remained listening to their conversation. Dango questioned him, “Where are you? How did you find him?”

“We’re underneath the quarters, we found a hidden passage in the room we were trapped in.” He added, “He’s alone.”

“I need you to find a device that has a camera if he has any and connect it with the phone you’re using so we can track the location and access it to have him talk with her.” Before he could ask her any other question, she had hung up on him immediately not wanting the former mafia member to hear her voice crack.

Agent Seo quickly works on tracking their location and hacking the device to put him on screen before anything goes beyond wrong.

“Who killed my brother?” Mei repeated in a very calm manner to which the double agent turned to look at the other two in the room. She waited patiently before the computer screen lit up and his face appeared. He was facing the camera with fear when Tae Hyun snaked a knife under his chin and said, “Let’s do a deal, you hand us the two and we’ll give you your brother—alive.”

Mei let out a deep breath turning to the double agent before shifting her gaze back to the screen, “In six hours—I’ll give you six hours, if not then say goodbye to your friends. Hurt him, I’ll kill them both and Daniel.”

“Mei.” Jun says, but is only met with her quiet stare. She added, “Dango would have liked that either.”

Mei points her gun to the screen before releasing the trigger and leaving the room. The others followed after her.

Agent Seo called for backup the moment they left the building and instructed the three their way out. Dango quickly drove back to the hospital where Daniel was currently being treated. She had met up with the doctor before heading into Daniel’s room, he was fully awake and was about to reach for his own gun when Dango swiftly pulled it away from his hand. He’s still quite sensitive when she pulls the tubes and needles from his body, thus he asks, “What’s going on?”

“You’re normally not one to question.” She sighs pulling his body while they leave the hospital with the doctor following behind. He firmly says, “Dango, answer me.”

“We’re keeping you safe with her,” she explains when he widens his eyes ate her, “you’re wanted, Kang. Wen Junhui’s alive.”

He doesn’t question her anymore when she speaks of his name, she had gone through so much pain and opening up to another took a lot of time. But the fact that she knew he was alive made Daniel think how painful it was to be torn between two different persons in her life.

Dango brings him into the car with Kim Dong Han and the doctor before leaving them and walking to the other vehicle. She sets up her gun in the car, looking at the driver’s seat she says to the male, “Hope you still have it in you.”

He smiles widely, “I’m a racer, Dango, that’s what we do for a living.”

Fox smirks from the backseat, the two dangerous duo sat side by side assembling both their guns and knives—Manju and Mochi. Long Guo starts the car, hitting on the pedal accelerating its pace.

Agent Seo stayed behind to keep an eye on the other’s location, signalling Dango’s team to take a 3’o clock into a narrow alleyway and into the Bali Street while instructing Tae Hyun to take his right route before heading straight until he ended up in the third traffic light.

After some moment, she noticed how Kenta’s tracking location stopped near the fountain of Bali where Dango’s team was approaching fast. She orders them, “Stop at your right, they’re near your location.”

“Copy,” Dango replies.

Agent Seo watches Tae Hyun closely, he was still injured to drive fast so he took a while until finally he was close. Dango had already set up the team in different floors of the building while Fox stood not so far from the car parked before the fountain.

Tae Hyun parks the car a few meters away from theirs before shoving Jun out and into the street, he looks at Mei who tries to walk towards him when Tae Hyun moves his knife closer to Jun’s skin. He said, “Hand me the two first.”

“Jun goes first.” She demanded, but Tae Hyun doesn’t move so she pushes the two towards them in order for Tae Hyun to let go of Jun. He slowly made his way towards his younger sister until he was hugging her in a tight embrace, but sometimes people have plans—Mei had forgotten who she was and of her family.

She throws the remaining biochemical bombs onto the street breaking the glass and releasing the toxins into the air.

“Get them out of there fast!” Agent Seo orders quickly standing up from her place and calling the police station.

The double agent kicks the rival team’s member before jabbing him on his side and twisting his neck. She grabs her pistol and shoots the other members before pulling Jun away from Mei. Dango fires her rifle directly at Mei’s calf to which both the agent and Jun leave. The duo try to ward off the other members on the ground before moving away from the toxin and helping with the evacuation.

“Tae Hyun get them somewhere safe, the others will remain.”

Dango doesn’t leave when she hears Mei scream, “Dango, this was what you would’ve wanted.”

She mocks a laugh, “Yes, one where you die horribly.”

Agent Seo asks Dango after the nurse patches her up, “Fox is on the run—missing.”

Dango looks at the agent, but doesn’t say a word about Fox instead she talks about the agent’s first love, “What was he like—Kwak?”

“A good friend,” the agent added softly, “a partner.”

“But you chose Jisung over him.” Dango snorted softly until the agent replied, “Jisung’s a good man—I chose him, because he stayed with me patiently.”

She looks over at Kenta who stares at the ground after the incident and sighs. She tilts her head back until she meets the agent’s gaze and said, “I can’t choose between the two.”

“That’s very selfish.” Agent Seo comments to which Dango smiles faintly and answers, “I know, that’s why I’m not choosing.”

She adds to end her sentence, “I’m staying with Jihoon.”

as an avid animal lover, kim yongguk’s biggest dream had always been to have a pet he could call his own

so ever since he was presented with a tiny kitten two christmases earlier by his parents, he had been the happiest man

it went without saying that lucy soon became the centre of yongguk’s world, and he has never been ashamed to admit that his cat stood proudly at the top of the kim family hierarchy

as one that loved spoiling his pet, he would frequent the local mart, buying a few packets of the most expensive snacks offered every week

yongguk’s friends are constantly flabbergasted at the sheer amount of money that he spends on his cat alone, but hey, if it meant that lucy can bask in luxury, then his coffees can wait

you enter the picture a few weeks before christmas in the form of a homeless cat shelter worker, desperate to find a home for the remaining 24 cats under your care

however, as christmas neared, the number of furred friends in the shelter seemed to not decrease by one bit, and you spent your days sitting in the play area surrounded by them, worrying about their not-so-bright futures

you would very willingly adopt all of them into your own home, but since you already spent minimal time in your apartment, you knew that it was impossible for you to be a good companion for the cats

which is why you decided on a whim, that if you couldn’t give them a home for christmas, you’ll present (haha get it bc christmas presents) them with the next best thing: buy them as many snacks that you could afford for the last two weeks of december

a messily scribbled plan later showed that it would be impossible to bulk order from suppliers, since they would all be on christmas break by then 

which is why on the 15th of december, you walked out of the local mart carrying an entire box of cat treats at 6 o’clock sharp, your wallet sadly deflated in your back pocket

to say that yongguk was shocked to find the entire shelf of expensive cat treats empty later that morning is an understatement

to his knowledge, the snacks that he buys for lucy are always in stock, since most customers prefer cheaper alternatives

slightly thrown off, he could do nothing but return home emptyhanded, feeling guiltier towards his cat than he should’ve been

needless to say, lucy was not pleased at the piece of spam offered her in consolation at the lack of gourmet organic chicken bites, and didn’t bat an eye at yongguk for the rest of the day

walking into the mart the next morning, yongguk was determined to get his cat her chicken bites, but yet again, found the entire shelf devoid of anything

he tried his best to ignore the bitter glare lucy sent him as soon as she spotted his empty hands, mentally promising her that tomorrow, he was going to get her the damn bites if it meant sacrificing his life

lucy has been denied her treats for five days straight, and yongguk has been denied affection from his cat for five days straight

he was growing insistently restless, tired of facing rejection as lucy stalked away from his open arms again and again

a quick ask around the mart told him that every morning, a woman comes in at the crack of dawn to purchase nothing but a huge pile of cat treats, and that was when yongguk decided that enough was enough

waking up at the earliest time he has ever woken up the next day, yongguk speed walks to the mart, only to find you already at the cat treat shelf, piling the last packets of lucy’s chicken bites into your basket

walking up to you, he takes a deep breath before asking you quietly if you could spare him a packet for his cat to eat before she eats him, thinking that you would most likely be kind enough to offer him at least one bag

which explains the blatant surprise on his face when you apologised, breathing out a ‘i need all of this today’ before briskly walking off towards the cashier, hoping to get to your cats as soon as possible

leaving yongguk frozen for a few minutes in the middle of the cat food aisle, mind blank at the blunt nature of your words

that night, he stares a disinterested lucy in the face, eyes set in determination as he promises that she’s going to get her treats tomorrow, no matter what

you walk into the mart the next morning, mentally prepared to spend another couple dozen dollars on cat food

however, nothing would’ve prepared you for the emptiness that was the cat treat shelf, the colourful packets replaced with nothing but what appeared to be a small piece of paper

picking it up, your eyes immediately narrowed at the familiar message scrawled onto the page in lazy handwriting

‘sorry. i need all of this today.’

ten minutes away in yongguk’s apartment, whilst lucy was enjoying an entire package of her beloved chicken bites, her owner was staring at his now-empty wallet in disdain, the only bit of satisfaction stemming from the fact that he had actually beat you to the snacks

ever since that silent declaration of war, both you and yongguk’s mornings have been absolute chaos

you would both rush to wake up in the morning, with you sometimes not even bothering to smooth out your hair before heading out the door, and with yongguk surprising lucy at the speed he’s been moving throughout the house 

it would, on most occasions, result in you arriving at the mart first, and even though yongguk always looks somewhat disgruntled whenever he sees you standing at the cashier before him with a triumphant grin, he’s began to secretly thank you, because his wallet has suffered more in those few bulk purchases than it has in his entire life

however, curiosity eventually started to build up in yongguk’s system, and by the end of another week, he was lowkey dying to find out what you did with all those packets of treats

which led to him trailing after you out the mart after another success on your side, taking care to keep his distance so that you didn’t notice him

as you weaved through the streets, yongguk started to go through the possible scenarios he would face a few minutes later

were you perhaps just an attractive cat lady with 30 cats, and they didn’t eat anything other than treats?

did you plan on reselling the treats at a higher price for profit?

oh, for the love of god, he really hoped that you weren’t one of those people who were obssessed with cat food and treated them like meatballs

however, all of his thoughts were proved wrong when he looked up at the small building you entered, eyes widening at the brightly coloured sign that read ‘the lost cats’ home’ hanging above the doorway

walking up to the entrance, taking in the small setup of your workplace before his eyes landed on your kneeling figure, a bright smile on your face as you opened up packets of the treats to feed the mass of cats that surrounded you, purring appreciatively

and for once in his life, yongguk’s eyes were not settled on the furry creatures, but on your face, softer than usual as you cooed at your small companions 

thinking back, purchasing that amount of cat food everyday must’ve cost you quite a lot, and to think that you were willing to sacrifice so much of your money for something that wasn’t even part of your job,,,

it was,,,,attractive, to say the least

you were selfless, you were undeniably cute, and you loved cats?

yongguk was only broken out of his reverie when you turned around, eyebrows raised when you spotted the last person you would have expected

‘what are you doing here?’ you asked, standing up to face him, ‘looking to adopt a cat?’

feeling more flustered than he has ever felt in his entire life, yongguk’s gaze fell from your face to the creatures that surrounded your feet, asking to be petted by nudging their heads against your ankles

‘shouldn’t you be on christmas break already?’ he asked back instead, despite somewhat having an idea of what your reason would be

he did not, however, foresee how down you became at his question, squatting down to scratch the head of a particular black cat with striking blue eyes

‘i can’t just leave them there,’ you replied after a sigh, ‘my coworkers are willing to feed them, but i didn’t want them to be left alone for christmas, which is why i’m spending it with them.’

yongguk found the frown on your face a little too hard to look at, seeing as you were willing to basically give your life for the felines

feeling an overwhelming need to somehow make you smile again, his mouth opened on its own accord, and blurted out the first thing that came to his mind

‘i-i’ll adopt one.’ 

and for him, seeing the light return to your eyes at his statement was worth every dollar that he spent later that day on pet registration

walking back home with a cardboard box in his hands, yongguk was still left in some sort of daze, his mind thinking back to the bright smile on your face as you waved him off from the shelter

and now, with a new pet in hand, your number scribbled onto a piece of paper in his back pocket and maybe a date scheduled for next tuesday, yongguk was the happiest man in the world

Twenty-five minutes and counting, Yongguk waited for you at a café for too long and became a bit impatient. He tapped his foot edgily while looking around to look for you through the crowd, but he couldn’t. You ran towards the table he was at and smiled, trying to think of a reason why you were quite late. He just sighed and stood up, crossing his arms

“Care to explain on why you’re late?” he raised a brow, and you just continued to grin

“Uh, yeah. I kind of… kept thinking about things…” you looked to the side to move to the chair and sit down

“Things?” he frowned, sitting back down as he looked at you

“Fine. Ever since I broke up with Hyunbin after a five-year committed relationship, I’ve been diving into the fictional world of… well, boys.” you admitted, and Yongguk gave you a confused look

“Boys?” he blinked a couple of times and then shook his head

“Yongguk, I’ve loved Hyunbin for too long that I ignored every other type of guy out there for the past five years. And ever since I hung out with Jiyoung and the girls since last week… you know, partying… clubbing… mingling.” you clasped your hands together and rested your chin on them, looking up in wonder from all the guys you’ve been hooking up with

“Wow.” Yongguk widened his eyes, shaking his head again

“Aren’t you curious about the guys I met?” you smirked

“Wished I was.” he looked to the side and rolled his eyes

“Aw, come on! You’re my best friend.” you grabbed his hand, and he just looked back

“Okay, so I met this guy named Sanggyun last Tuesday. He was pretty nice, kind of full of himself. But he’s really hot, so...” you shrugged before continuing, making Yongguk give a disgusted face

“Oh! And I met this guy named Daniel. God, such a drinker. He’s hysterical when he drinks! It’s a pain, but he’s quite nice.” you looked up again in wonder

“Interesting.” Yongguk commented out of the blue

“I met a few others at some clubs, but didn’t really care enough for them.” you clicked your tongue a few times as Yongguk only kept his face as if he’s truly listening

“I see.” he nodded

“Oh, and I actually have to meet Soyeon now.” you smiled awkwardly

“What time?”

“Now.” Soyeon, your friend, smiled as she walked her way to you and grabbed your hand

“I’m sorry, Yongguk. But can I take y/n for now? We have to meet someone.” she smirked as she looked at you, and Yongguk just raised his hand

“Thank you!” Soyeon said as she dragged you out of the café

“I’ll make up to you, I promise!” you yelled as you and Soyeon got out

“She’s boy crazy.” Yongguk said to himself as he chuckled and clicked his tongue a few times while looking at his phone

Months have passed and the apartment you frequently visited on your days off felt empty, not only because the space was tidied up and their belongings were packed into boxes by the side, but also because you no longer could visit the place you called your second home. Many tears were shed at the sofa, over sad romance stories or the heart-wrenching disney scenes you would watch on movie nights. And the kitchen where many catastrophies unfold as all of you decided that the kitchen would only be used to cook ramen and nothing else. Not forgetting the two adorable creatures that roamed around, giving you your daily dose of furry cuddles whenever your day seemed gray and of course the numerous times you would find shirtless men, or more specifically Sanggyun, and having to remind them of your presence until your eyes became numb to the nudity and that it no longer bothered you. And it all came rushing back, the memories filled with arguments and squabbles, heart-to-heart conversations that never seemed to tire any one of you and the relentless support and love that brought all of you together. Tears began to drench your reddened cheeks, your eyes turning bloodshot in a matter of seconds as you struggled to keep the sniffles silent.

"(Y/n), where did you keep- hey, hey what's wrong?" Kenta rushed over, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion and his lips curling into a frown of heart ache as he pulled you to him, examining your face while his fingers grazed your back in a comforting motion. Or at least that was what he thought it would be – comforting. They knew you would be like this, and internally, they felt the same. "Since we're all done packing, I have something prepared. Guys, get ready the car, plan 'Be Joyful' is in motion," Taehyun chuckled as he wiped his damp cheeks, the rest cheering as you looked around in confusion. What were these 6 men up to now?

It had nearly been an hour ever since they had dragged you into the van, the back full of miscellaneous items you couldn't quite identify. Even when you were bombarding them with questions, the only answers you got were short replies of 'I don't know's and 'you'll see'. With the vague answers you could only sit back in your seat as they jammed to their favourite songs, some of them bringing a smile to your face as they enthusiastically danced to the beat. After an hour full of laughing and singing your hearts out, the van finally stopped, revealing the oceanic view and the empty yet serene vibes that the ocean gave you. But why were you at the beach?

"C'mon (y/n) open the door, we don't have much time," Hyunbin chuckled, pushing you teasingly as you opened the door with a hint of reluctance. You weren't exactly dressed to go to the beach and neither were they. It only filled the empty spaces of your mind with more questions as you admired the view.

"Seeing as you're done with your exams, we planned out a little outing for you as a present," Donghan sighed, swinging his arm around your neck as he dragged you through the sand, the smell of the salty water hitting you yet a sense of refreshment engulfed you. It had been a while since all of you went out together. Especially with their hectic schedules and promotions, there was rarely a time for all eight of you to meet up and not have to worry about the time.

"Guess who?" a familiar voice sent your heart racing as a pair of hands covered your eyes. In a split second, you turned around to see yet another familiar face, a wide smile plastering your face as you hugged him with all your might. "Geez did you guys plan all this? And I missed your dumb butt," you pouted, punching him in the chest as he backed away slightly in 'pain'.

"But weren't you on the phone with him last night? You guys were so busy you totally forgot about movie night," Yongguk teased, pinching your cheeks slightly as you pushed him away, rubbing the spot and glaring back at the cat butler. "As much as I like seeing you guys bicker to no end, we still have a day planned out," Taehyun sighed, strolling towards the ocean as the rest followed suit.

After hours of heart warming talks and silly shenanigans, the moon began to peek out from behind the clouds while the sun was embraced by the calm ocean before you. "it's about time, let's go to our next station!" Kenta cheered as he dragged you up onto your feet and ran straight for the van, the rest taking their time and cherishing the moment as much as they could. "Do you think they'll like it?" Sanggyun asked, a hint of worry and anxiousness floated around him as he struggled to keep the emotions from showing.

"I know they will. In fact, they'll love it so much, they'll start crying," Hyunbin chuckled and if someone were to listen to him a litttle closely, they would have been able to hear the sadness in his tone. It was obvious they were all keeping their emotions bottled up and knowing that letting you know about your emotions would send you into another melt down just like that morning. They just have to hold it in a little longer, make this day as joyous as they could.

"Why do I have to get blindfolded? And are we in a forest? Did you guys come here to kill me instead as a sacrifice?" You threw questions in every which way, confusion and curiosity overwhelming you as you held onto Taedong's and Yongguk's hands tightly, afraid that whatever in front of you, or even your own legs, would trip you. " Is that what our friendship has become?" Yongguk questioned, chuckling at your numerous questions.

"Well, you did choose to feed Tolbi and Lucy first before my dying sick body, so I don't see why me being a sacrifice isn't possible,"

"That was ONE time and I didn't even know you were sick until you came out of your room like a mess,"

"aren't they always a mess though?" Sanggyun added as you attempt to send a punch to the source of the teasing remark and instead hit an innocent passerby as Kenta let out a loud yelp, causing you to remove your blindfold and check on your dear friend.

"Kenta are you o- OMG are you guys crazy? what is this?" You exclaimed, your hands flying to shut your gaping mouth as you admired the set up before you, completely ignoring the injured Kenta. "Yes, I'm very much fine thank you," he sighed, but once he saw the twinkle in your eye, and the lopsided grin, his mind was quickly brought away from the pain and onto you.

"We asked out managers and staff members to help out while we were at the beach. I hope it's enough," Taehyun smiled softly, while you stood before him with your teary eyes. "You guys should be professionals in making people cry like this is the first time I've ever cried three times in a day,"

"But you cried five times when we were having movie night!" Sanggyun stated as a matter of fact while you stood there defeated, silently agreeing while he jogged towards you to hug you tight, saying something along the lines of 'not meaning to hurt you'. But you knew and always have been. It was just his way of showing affection. "You're lucky I'm feeling nice today," you giggled, hugging him tightly as you finished it with a strong loud pat to his back.

"What are you guys waiting for? let's get the meat cooking!" Hyunbin screamed, rushing towards the barbecue pit while the others set up the foldable chairs and brought out some board games to play.

And just like that, hours of joking around and eating an abundance of food came to an end; Kenta still doing his iconic Despacito dance despite the hype of the song being dead, the guys doing aegyo one by one as they attempt to win your hearts, and not forgetting the boys being 'possessed' by Hyunbin with his famous line from Produce 101. Time flew too fast as you sat on the couch with Hyunbin and Sanggyun on either side as all of you cuddled under the blanket pile, sipping on your drinks and watching the fire crackle and slowly burn out.

"Time passed too quickly, huh," Taehyun mumbled, his last few words were stuttered as he began choking up, tears brimming in his eyes as the seconds go on.

"heh, yeah. It all felt like a dream," Sanggyun chuckled but soon kept silent as his head leaned onto your shoulder.

"and we're sorry we couldn't give you much for the amount you've given us," a small sad smile crept onto Donghan's lips as he fidgeted with the bouquet of forget-me-nots with his fingers, lips trembling as he said so.

"B-but I hope you don't forget us," Kenta sniffled, wiping away the stray tears while Yongguk comforted him. "and that you don't forget the moments we had together" Yongguk added on.

"But I'm sure we'll meet again," Taedong spoke up, sitting up from his own foldable chair and squeezing himself into the cuddle pile on the couch. You couldn't help the tears dampening your cheeks and the sneaky mucus threatening to escape. But neither did them. The quiet night that was once filled with laughter and heart-warming talks were now filled with the sniffles of each and everyone of you, no longer being able to keep it in. But with this newfound hope, and the last speck of optimisim swimming in your mind, this was simply a beginning. And that this joyful meeting was the start of something more.

i meant to post this yesterday but i messed up my scheduling and it posted today instead :(( Happy late birthday to my boy!!

yongguk was somewhat of a mystery to everyone, all the way up to the last year of high school

he only said what was needed, nothing unnecessary

but to some people this gave him this very... weird aura... like he was hiding something

but you knew he wasn't

you two had been on the school choir together for as long as you could remember, always singing together

he was talented, really talented, but for some reason best known to himself he'd never gone for a main part in the whole time you'd known him

I guess he had his reasons

outside of choir, you two weren't in many classes together besides music, but you made an effort to meet up every so often

you'd go to school practice rooms and sing together for a while before going home

you didn't really do much talking?? except for working out what song to choose

but you didn't really feel like you needed to talk, there was some kind of connection between you two where you'd just be able to... sense the situation?

and despite the aura everyone talked about you thought he was super funny because hey he made dumb jokes sometimes and that's cute okay

but if you did talk while you were practicing it would usually be about his cats

he had 2 of them all to himself and wow he had folders on his phone that had 3000+ videos and pictures of each of them

you notified your tutor that yongguk would take the solo, and she pretty much screeched when she heard this because well uhhh she wanted him to have the solo too

the talent show was only 2 weeks away, and 2 weeks to build someone's confidence is... not enough

but you tried still

every night, you two would stay until you'd be kicked out just singing over and over together until yongguk relaxed

the same song for hours on repeat

even after you were kicked out, you'd go to each other's houses and sing together

a couple of times, you even skipped classes to go and hide in the practice rooms to do more practicing

every time it was yongguks turn to sing on his own, you found yourself almost in a trance watching him
