I took the job!!! I am gonna be ogp and hours are amazing i can stretch them from 12-8 and its only for 90 days so i wont have to worry about it that much they said in store shoppers usually go home by 5pm which is when their department closes so that is perfect for me! I start on easter monday i am 10-5 which isn't that bad i love the 10am shifts.

#so this place is like a wegmans but more like a kroger if that makes sense? like its a big known grocery store all i can say #i really liked the environment when i walked in today busy but not as busy especially for a holiday weekend #the best thing is i wont be by myself a lot since i am with four to five people and they assured me we wont have limited hours issues #as i am one of 400!!! employees!!! which is INSANE #i have orientation monday along with training and hours are same also 10-5!#i have a good feeling about this job hopefully i can work here for the next seven years like my old one!#this has been a post

i'm genuinely... going to be so dead by the end of these two weeks...

#had my ''first day'' at my new second part time job. it was just like. an intro/orientation thing #and i'm going to be training 3 days a week 8 hours a day for the next 2 weeks #on top of working at my Other job on the other 4 days a week #several of which i'm now opening and closing on so i'm there for 7 hours and not 4 #after the 2 weeks i'm just doing 1 day a week at the place i went to today but. yeesh.#at least i'll be getting paid for all the training so i'll get a fat check for my first pay period #alas. i will be. so fucking tired by the end of it #i say things

#job secured 😛#it’s full time 9 hour days but Fridays are 4 hours #my nepotism baby arc (paulina helped me secure it at the clinic I go to LMFAO)#well kinda like I applied and they called me back but I missed the call #so when I went to see her (for the first time since September she said she got excited when she saw my name on her schedule bless her soul)#I told her how I called him back but the like didn’t even ring it just went straight to voicemail both times #so she called him from her work phone and pretended I was a stranger she ran into bc patient confidentiality LMFAOEKFK #she went ‘I found someone in the hall who came to ask about a job because she got a call but hasn’t been able to get in contact with you’#and he came down there and was Iike ‘I’m so sorry I’ve been doing orientations and interviews all day I must have missed you’#and we were talking in the elevator to his office about the position and he goes ‘do you have time for an interview right now?’ I was :O #and said yes ofc #interviewed with the 2 pharmacists then and there and he called and offered me the position the next day!!#and I’m making more than I did at my previous job and it’ll go up once I get certified in like 2 months #they’re willing to train me and everything??#and the reason I wanted this job so bad is bc it counts towards my healthcare experience for grad school SLAY #2 birds 1 stone baby

I have a tiny rubber duck stuck in the pocket of one of my sets of jeans that I hardly wear and I keep forgetting to take it out before washing the jeans. So then the jeans get washed and dried and folded and sit in my closet for weeks to months until I run out of stuff to wear and I am reminded all at once that there is a tiny rubber duck in the bottom of the front right pocket.

Hello, my lovely followers! I hope you're all having a good Monday so far. 😊

I just wanted to let you all know that starting tomorrow, I won't be as active on here during the day as I currently am because I'm starting a new job tomorrow that has much stricter internet use policies on work computers than my current job. Because of that, I expect my active Tumblr hours will shift to the last afternoon/evening (I'm in EST if that helps!).

While I'm super excited for this new chapter in my life to start, I am kinda disappointed that I won't be able to use Tumblr as my daily brain breaks like I currently do and I'll also miss being able to chat via messages.

Anyways, wish me luck and say some prayers for me because I still feel like an imposter. 🙃😆
