Art dump? Sort of? Basically, a few of the things I've neglected to post over the last few months/millennia.

Inspired by this lovely post, and this lovely follow up post! I was so bowled over by the fits that I decided to alter/update an old Diteline sketch to match!

Finally managed to establish a consistent character design for my pathetic little wet mop of a daughter. Huzzah!

AU in which Jack either a) never leaves or b) leaves but comes back almost immediately.

More bb Cold Front. Jack would almost certainly not have been wearing pinstriped trousers that far back, but they were easier to draw than something period appropriate! The difference in foot size is making me weak at the knees.

Meant to post this on Valentine's Day. 😅 Some Bernelle, Blinter and Diteline, as well as Jucy. Figured if anyone could get B-Man jivin' it was Miss Elle (property of the lovely shittyelfwriter).

Theym, or something. In ch. 4 of ML I mention that Lucy has blonde highlights. I've since decided that they're not so much highlightS as one big streak, that she uses to cover up a lil grey area (if I can be going grey at age 27 she can be going grey at 35). I think she also dyes it pink every so often, for funsies; as she has in the upper lefthand pic. She looks v NYC Grunge in that one, as an aside. Apart from the Bears cap, that is, which is decidedly Illinoisan. The coat was borrowed (stolen) from her dad and the hoodie is her old varsity one from Harvard. Oh, and her earrings are teeny planets, bc yay space!

Doodle Dump! But it make it more finished, I guess. I had a fair bit of mostly finished stuff lying around so here’s those for ya!

YOU CAN'T STOP ME FROM DRAWING JULIAN! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME! He’s so incredibly complicated, but every once and a while he actually likes being in his own company and isn't trying to constantly hurl himself off a cliff! Sometimes he likes being himself and he never tell anyone that ever.

And I got the scale all wrong with the rest of the frost fam in that next one, but I liked the idea of him picking up Jacqueline like a claw machine, so I rendered and kept it. Fun Fact! I'd like to imagine when Julian picks up all the frost family at once (Blaise in two hands, everyone else in one), he got the idea to learn how to juggle with all six arms. Neither Jack nor Kills knows how to juggle, but Julian is DTERMINED to learn how to do it with SIX ARMS.

I’m still not over @herbalsingularitea Jack design so I think this counts as a little fanart for them! He’s just so SHAPEY and I've been taking style notes because Moss is really good at this you guys. I also did a version where I imposed my own color scheme onto him just to see how it would look. Keep up the great work my guy!

And lastly, these guys are doing an outfit swap, kinda? Style swap, I guess? Their wearing each other's elements basically. I have a lot to say about both of their design choices, but in essence: I leaned real hard in a Mad Hatter direction for Jack and spiked up MN to the heavens. It was just a fun design experiment. 

(I also gave a brown-haired version to Jack because when making it I was still debating whether or not his hair was brown or blue when its thawed. But its firmly blue now. so shhhhh)

Older Frost Kids my BELOVED. This was basically just a warmup thing that I liked enough to do flats on (Thats what MOST of the things here are: Just roughs/sketches/warmups that I liked enough to clean up and color). But this image screamed the frost siblings to me, so I had to do it. Fiera with the mustard is a whole mood.

I actually thought this was next week's doodle idea but then I checked my list on Monday and saw it was this week! SERENDIPITOUS INDEED!

lmels. Your lil guy. Your scrunkly. Was SO MUCH FUN to colour. EVEN WITH THE LIMITED PALETTE I HAVE! Trying to figure out how to make his jacket a lil grimey was fun! (I stared with PEELED EYES at SOO MANY KILLIANS while trying to do the beanie and the hair, I HOPE HE'S AT LE A S T RECOGNIZABLE!)

And yes I kNOW probably wine SHOULDN'T go into whatever warm chocolatey drink Jacqueline is having, but tbh, I was hella distracted by CR while colouring so it became wine instead of like, brandy or Bailey's or rum like I was ORIGINALLY intending. Although...I have seen rum similar to that reddish/amberish colour before so....maybe???

Anyway. Whatever's got them both feelin this kinda way is deffs directly Jack's fault. I'll leave that tidbit up to your imaginations 🤭🤭

Next week's scrimbly is a redraw! Then the week after is Into the Shadows spoilers! I've been working away at my second draft (which is notes tbh, really, really detailed notes) and I'm like 11 chapters in and so far, so good! It'll a bit of a CHALLENGE to write what with all the characters and the conflict of chaos versus order between the villains all while trying to make it a Charlie-centric story with a sorta uni au I guess, so basically the ride is going to be WILDIN >:)

So, I had to get on paper what exactly the grandmas could’ve looked like. Grandma x2!

I had a back and forth on Bianca’s hair situation, but I couldn't get it out of my mind that she would have somewhat big and crazy looking hair. Most akin to Sarah’s hair from the ballroom scene in The Labrinth. But I also wanted to keep her look scathing and cold. A terror when need be.

And I think I might’ve leaned a bit too hard in the “Evil Queen” direction for Serafina? Maybe? But she is a real BITCH from what little we know about her, so I don't feel too bad lol. I referenced a couple different dresses for her look and ALSO had a hair debate for her, but this one was about color.
