Heidi, de Johanna Spyri, otro obsequio de mi madre, una novela dirigida a un publico infantil, con honestidad, recuerdo el contenido, lo leí por el 1977-78, ignoraba la existencia de una serie animada televisiva producida por los japoneses que recibió mucha aceptación en Venezuela en los años posteriores, la verdad, la serie televisiva fue más dramática en mi opinión que el libro en sí. Luego a finales de los años 80's o principios de los 90's hubo una producción con un contenido más fresco (para la época) de una película protagonizada por Charlie Sheen (two and a half men) donde hizo de un "Pedro" enlistado en el ejercito suizo. Review: This book was magnificent. I loved all the characters especially the character of Heidi and her grandfather. The love and their relationship touched me so much and this story was so sweet and short. I loved everything in this book. The writing and the concept and the plot, each and everything were mindblowing. The troubles Heidi had to go through were so realistic like every orphan goes through a problem like this. They are a victim of torture and selfishness and it is portrayed so well in this novel. They say it's a children's novel but there is a very good moral in this story and everyone should definitely read it and understand it. This is one of the best classics I have ever read.
