The Night shift

July 29, 2013

Location: A local police station in Atlanta, Georgia

Cop 1: You don’t have to be afraid of anyone. Just tell us the truth.

Trevor: (stuttering) This happened to me in a local McDonalds. I work there as an employee. Our boss assigned our schedule amongst our staff, I was usually scheduled for the night shift on Fridays. Our boss was very laidback.

Cop 1: How laidback?

Trevor: Well, at McDonalds we have rule that during service cell phone are prohibited.

Cop 1: And he allowed you all to use them unless you get your work done.

Trevor: Yes sir.

The cop gave a nod of approval and signalled Trevor to continue.

Trevor: I remember dozing off during one of the night shifts, and then I heard a whistle sound, a kind of sound you make to draw someone’s attention.

I then realised that a customer was trying to make an order by the Drive-thru option. I greet with our usual-

“Hi sir, Welcome to McDonalds. What would you like to order?”

Then a shrill voice saying-

The customer: I would like one whopper, please. Yes, one whopper, please.

I first thought that the person was pulling off a prank of some sort. Because, first of all we don’t sell that burger and secondly, that shrill voice was not human at all.

Cop 2: What do you mean?

Trevor: That voice was not one that could be made by an average human.

Moving on, I then looked at the security footage, only to see a clown looking dead at me through the camera, without a car.

I didn’t really want to serve this person. So, I told him-

“I am sorry sir, but you need a car to be served.”

I then heard him chuckling for about a minute. And then he said something truly bone-chilling.

Clown: If you don’t serve me a whopper, I WILL KILL YOU!!

As soon as I heard this, I practically fell down the ground.

I was trembling with fear and crying.

And then the clown came to my window and looked at me.

I looked back at him and at that moment what true horror and evil devil would look like.

His eyes were red with pale-white nose and a dirty red wig with what looked knee length hair.

I then pulled out my phone to call the police, I mean you guys. But my hands were so trembling that I was not capable enough to dial anything.

And then what he did would haunt me for the rest of my life. He then pulled out a knife, placed it on the counter and then started banging his head against the window, screaming my name-

“TREVOR TREVOR TREVOR”

so much so that blood started to drip from his head.

I then said

“GET OUT OF HERE OR I WILL CALL THE COPS!!”

He then stopped and looked at my traumatized face for like an whole eternity, before taking off.

After he left, I directly came here to report the crime.

Cop 1: You are a brave kid. We will surely help you. I suppose this is none other than the serial killer clown Gacy. You can go now.

Trevor thanked them and took off.

As he was approaching his car his phone rang.

Trevor: Hello

Person 2: Did you do it?

Trevor: Yes

Person 2: Was anyone suspicious?

Trevor: No

Person 2: Ok, dispose the clown costume and the body. And meet me at the country after that.

It was good doing business with you, Mr. Gacy.

John Gacy/Trevor: Yeah, me too.

During the chilly nighttime hours after his arrest, police began one of the grisliest excavations in the history of American crime. For weeks to come, Chicago and the nation watched in horror as the crawl space under the home of 36-year-old John Wayne Gacy, a onetime children's clown, was revealed to be a makeshift tomb. The bodies of 29 young men were eventually recovered from the home in unincorporated Norwood Park Township. Four others were found in Illinois rivers. The first victim died in 1972, the last in 1978, only 10 days before Gacy's arrest. For decades, authorities could not identify eight of the victims. These photos were recently found in the Gacy negative file at the Tribune. They show Gacy being escorted out of the Des Plaines Police Department where he was arrested and the excavation of bodies that followed. Serial killers.

Recently I re-discovered my obsession with serial killers and criminology. I know no one cares but i really enjoy talking about this topic and since my friends don’t care about this I’m just going to educate your brains children of god. This week i’ve been reading a book named “inside the monster” it’s the third time i read this book and i just cant get enough of Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and John Gacy. But the book emphasizes Jeffrey Dahmer’s psychopath behavior and pathology, most people confuse a psychopath with a sociopath, roughly, a sociopath has a problem with the society therefore the term. A psychopath is born with a little but important dysfunction on the brain, his/her limbic system (frontal lobe and hypothalamus) is fucked up and thats why the cant process emotions like any other person. Their brains also produce too much cortisol (substance that controls violent behaviors). In conclusion, sociopaths are made and psychopaths are born. Now, how sociopaths are made? The common factors? Most of them were “raised” by violent parents (i know, who knew), they start drinking at a really young age, most of the parents of sociopath teenagers abandon them because of their rebel behavior and don’t give them the correct treatment they need, that’s how serial killers are made, but of course, not all sociopaths are serial killers, but all serial killers are sociopaths/psychopaths. Ok bye.
