David Ottomas and Jules O'Mackey finally got engaged...

... and married. They had a very humble wedding ceremony with only their closest family members invited. (That was so chaotic like why were they standing so far away? 😂)

Overall it was a nice little get-together. Everybody had a lot of fun.

Okay Peter! 😂 He was reeaally into the music.

Samantha and Peter Ottomas still have some unfinished business but thank god it didn't overshadow David and Jules' special day. Can't invite anybody these days. 😩

VeronaHills, Round Sixteen: O'Mackey

The Summerdreams landed to lavish the twins with love.

Gabe was quietly relieved when Nico bid farewell for some time in the city, leaving him with just the extra company of Puck's parents. He knew how faerie clans liked to gather together - his brother Jason had hosted the Summerdreams for some time in his home, too, easily convinced by his wife Rose. An appreciation for faerie culture helped with such a decision of course! As the days stretched on, though, Gabe felt his good cheer also stretching into a grin. Oberon and Titania were no hazy hedonists when it came to their grandchildren (they would resume partying post-school age); Iver and Robyn were watered, sun-warmed, and overall very well enriched.

A trio of live-in grandparents gave both Jules and Puck priceless opportunities to rest and recharge. The former even had time to step in and rescue the marriage of her good friends Mitch and Max! Well, it wasn't a complete superhero moment, but she was able to check in and remind them of everything they'd been through over the years. Was it worth a shot to become a true blue couple once again? They both looked at each other, shoulders dropping, taking deep breaths, and answered yes.

Then, when Petruchio passed away curled up in a blissful ball in his favourite bed, the family truly appreciated being under the same roof, tending to the same garden.

Gabe let tears fall onto many shoulders, and was a shoulder for others. Grief was well navigated as a tribe.

Catherine/Betty: Same as Patricia/Cleo except you're fine with elder gameplay. You probably like Golden Girls, I feel like there's a chance that they were inspired by them

Andrew/Jacob: Your family relationships aren't the best right now and you wish you had a stable and loving father/son relationship like they do. You're probably more of a gamer as well

Leod McGreggor: Even though the game pushes you to make him get with either Catherine or Betty, you prefer shipping him with Gabe. You probably also think that Gabe/Patricia are each other's beards

Strange-Blossom turn 2: Viejo

How do I comment on this... They broke up the next day when they met at the Downtown pool. Jacob wasn't bothered by it and met some new cool friend that lives in Simcity itself.

She has a similar vibe to us and seems to be a good party friend material. Jacob came back home after that.

Betty wished to buy a vacation home and - if only they had more money - I'd agree in a heartbeat.

Happy Birthday Chrysanthemum "Chris" Greenman! 🥳

VeronaHills, Round Sixteen: Goldstein

It was a family backyard wedding but the bride dressed for the glitterati.

The dress was traditional; the white of it pierced the eyeballs of the guests (they were good to grin and bear it). Viola chose to offset this effect with a sea green top hat, wrapped in black lace and topped with a tall feather. She was a bit of a theatre kid and just had to do something a little over the top on her special day! Jacob wore a more bone-white shade of suit with teal accents to match Viola's hat. They looked fantastic in their fancy frills; what a thrill it was, to have a wedding!

While the new happy couple honeymooned in Three Lakes (aunt Bianca kindly lent them the keys to Villa de Simoleon), the cats Iago and Juno passed away in their sleep. Both had lived long lives, loved by their family. Still, Bianca mourned the last pieces of her old life with Betty, and leaned on her brothers for support. Antonio and Claudio wore matching suits to game night, and brought a bottle of sparkling grape juice to share.

The Monty generations before them would be full of heart to know that the importance of family being there for each other was not lost in modern times.
