ᡣ𐭩 BASICS !

how did they meet?  they met in 2022 when juraj first moved to Montreal, her brother and a few of their teammates were going to take juraj out for the day and show him around, they invited her as well and she decided to tag along, also wanting to meet him. They all met for lunch and then showed him around the city before going to this really cool bowling alley/bar, where they played for a few hours, also eating there.  (2022)

their first impressions?  

juraj was already nervous to meet her when arber told him that she would be coming along, but his first thought about her before they met was that she had a beautiful name. But when he met her his first thoughts was that she had an even prettier laugh as she giggled when he struggled to pronounce her name at first ‘you can just call me gwen’ he had also found her to be quite intimidating, which was ridiculous because he towered over her, but still, she was just so pretty and calm . . . he didn't know what to do with himself. He found it hard to talk with her because of his nerves, she was just so pretty. 

Gwen’s first impression of juraj was ‘wow he's tell’ as he stood up to greet her and cole and then it changed to ‘wow he's so cute’ as she listened to him struggle to pronounce her name, a lot of inner monologue of her freaking out about his accent and smile. He was very shy and polite towards her and Gwen found that adorable, but she was a little disappointed as the night went on. Juraj seemed to be a lot more comfortable and talkative with the others while he was still nervous and shy around her, she hoped that she didn't make him uncomfortable in any way. 

first date?   Juraj was the one to ask her out on a date, he was out on a jog and stopped to catch his breath in front of an older cinema that he saw was screening the first scream, aka one of Gwen's all time favorite movies. He took that as a sign to finally man up and ask her out on a date and thankfully she said yes. It was his first time going to the cinema in Canada and the first time seeing the movie so they got a whole bunch of different candies/popcorn for him to try. After the movie they went to a pizza plaza for dinner where they talked about the movie and almost everything else. 

who confessed their feelings first?   

juraj realized his feelings were very strong for her during their first date, he was sitting across gwen with a small smile on his lips as he watched and listened (like a lovesick puppy) to her ramble about the movie they just watched, seeing her so passionate and carefree, but despite the fact that juraj realized his feelings first, gwen was the one to confess first. 

gwen quickly realized her feelings for him as she laid in her bed the night of the date, she couldn't sleep and all she could think about was him and he made her feel. Her last relationship ended horribly so the idea of her liking someone else scared her, so she decided to try her best to avoid him . . . which is not so easy because they work together and see each other almost every single day. Juraj who noticed Gwen's avoidance towards him distanced himself as well, thinking that he did something wrong and that she didn't enjoy the date, it really hurt for him to think that. 

a few of there close friends that knew about them were tired of them avoiding each other decide to do a little scheming, while they were all at the rink, everyone was getting ready to leave so kaiden asked juraj to bring a few things to a supply closet while arber asked gwen to get a few things from the said closet, they both of course said yes. When the two schemers noticed them both going into the closet they locked it from the outside, forcing them to finally talk. Juraj asked her why she was avoiding him and she couldn't hold it in anymore as she looked up into his sad eyes, confessing her feelings for him right on the spot. Juraj of course told her he felt the same way. They both agreed to take it slow and go on a second date. 

first kiss?  their first kiss happened during their second date, a few days after they confessed their feelings for each other. They had planned to go to this new cafe but the weather changed drastically. Juraj didn't want to leave her alone at the apartment (cole at a friend's house) during a thunderstorm so they decided to have their date inside instead. They were cuddled up on the couch watching stranger things and sharing a tub of ice cream. Gwen had looked up at him when she felt his stare on her, she went to ask him if he was okay but her words got caught in her throat at the look he was giving her. They both were leaning in and before they knew it their lips were touching, the soft kiss didn't last longer than a few seconds. But the kiss they shared moments after the first lasted way longer, the ice cream and show long forgotten. 

who asked who?  juraj was the one to ask her to be his girlfriend, they were laying in her bed watching an old slovak movie he had mentioned watching a lot as a child. She had surprised him with the movie and some of his favorite snacks for their night in. He laid there with her in his arm and he watched as she read the subtitles of the movie she went out of her way to surprise him with, all he wanted was to be hers and her to be his. His words were moving before his mind was comprehending what he was doing, he sounded nervous and unsure when he first asked. Gwen who was so into reading the subtitles that she didn't hear what he said so she just hummed in confusion asking him to repeat what he said. Juraj let out a heavy breath before asking her again, this time much more confident. His confidence worked because Gwen was smiling and placing soft kisses on his cheek as she said yes. 

first I love you?   gwen was the one who said I love you first, she was nervous and scared that she felt so strongly for him even though they haven't been dating for long. But she had a long conversation with her best friend Luke who helped her realize that she should tell Juraj how she feels. So she went to his place and confessed her love for him as they sat on his bed. Juraj was shocked but he was happy because he felt the same way. 

how did everyone find out? 

family + friends: besides the people who knew from the beginning, their closest friends and cole. Everyone else found out when they posted each other on their private instagrams for valentines day, they also went on a trip by themselves to celebrate valentines day. 

the public: the public found out when a video of them kissing while on a date went viral, someone had filmed them without them knowing and posted it. they were forced to confirm it since it was so public.

If I Say It, Will You Respond? - Juraj Slafkovsky x OC

- I’m so sorry for making you wait Kesh, but this story went up and off the rails with Arber’s meddling (as big brothers do 🤣)

The story of Dinah and Jura is one that I definitely struggled with from an intimacy perspective. How do I make Dinah fall for Slaf without feeling like insta love?

Dinah Faye Clark doesn’t regret anything, actually almost anything. She’s gazing at her diploma on the wall, Bachelor’s in Media and Journalism from the University of Montreal.

“Another successful day of work finished. The article on the Habs blueline will go up tomorrow before the draft and hopefully that goes over well.” A soft *ping* goes off and Dinah sees a tweet from the Habs Twitter.

Dinah’s heart thumped as she saw the players raising the Ross Robertson Cup. She sees the Xhekaj jersey and smiles.

Proud of you, big bro. So proud of you, Arber.

Dinah and Arber hadn’t spoken in years, but the sibling bond they share was unshakable across country lines and team switches. When Dinah left for university, Arber stayed and went to the OHL. The first few terms were easy when he was with the Rangers before getting traded.

Everything almost fell apart once he went to the Bulldogs though. Texts were getting lost, calls never making it to voicemail and nights full of tears. They never held it against each other, especially once Dinah graduated and Arber was front row and dead center waiting for her.

Dinah didn’t have both parents, just an Aunt. Having a hands off guardian made her independent and headstrong, from getting on the yearbook and newspaper teams to starting her own blog about the Canadiens before her junior year.

Six years later, she’s a trusted source and media channel for the Habs. What she’s lost in affection and time she’s got back in a supportive network virtually and adventures embedded into her brain. She’s a storyteller, analyst and writer who’s damn good at her job.

When Arber was traded from Kitchener to Hamilton, Dinah struggled with giving space to Arber. Her feelings of being too much to be around drove her into distancing him. The championship brought them back together.

Dinah asked him where his mind was in an interview and suddenly the conversation got deep fast.

Draft Day

”The Montreal Canadiens are proud to select Juraj Slafkovsky from TPS in the Liiga!” Dinah watches the first overall selection stride down to meet the GM, President, and Head Coach of his new team. Her hand flies across her notepad faster than she can comprehend, really.

He’s soft. Teddy-bear like, but not weak.

Dinah dragged her eyes back down to her notes as she waited for the next team to select their draftee.

Someone might say Dinah fell in love that day, but Dinah felt something stronger.

She wanted to tell his story, again and again.

1. Juraj’s first game

Mullet Arena is tiny and too cozy, Dinah muses. Everyone seems uncomfortable, too close, intimate in a way that bothered them instead of coming naturally. The warm-ups were starting and as the lights came up Dinah noticed that just right along the opening where the players came out she saw something. It was him getting ready to take his rookie lap. Dinah’s heartbeat got heavy and fast. She got warm although she barely had anything on save for a coat. She couldn't stop staring as he made his loops round and round and the wide oval shape that the ice was. Loop, loop, loop. The sight of him taking his lap on the ice and then heading back off burned into her brain. It was somehow too much but also not enough. She wanted to see more.

2. His first goal

C’mon Juraj, stay on him. You’re almost there, do not let up.

Nearly 12 minutes left on the clock and he’s passing Arizona’s Maccelli and aiming. It misses. The sound of bodies hit the wall ring in Dinah’s ears. The shot is clear this time, now 11:43 left in the second period. He aims, and it passes Ingram. He’s scored his first goal. Jake grabs him first, then Arber and everyone else crashes into Juraj. His first goal has been made and Dinah is watching the ice.. A volcano of feelings screaming to rush out of them as Juraj fist-bumps the lines not on shift.

“His First of the National League, Slafkovsky!” Arber is right behind him, whooping and hollering with everyone else.

After the game ends, Dinah goes to their media availability and records most of the post-game conversation, asking some questions of her own and getting Coach St. Louis to laugh.

Then there’s Juraj, laughing and blushing. Dinah feels her heart stop beating for a moment, but she manages to ask one good question.

“You think this a good start to your career?” 

Juraj laughs, and Dinah knows this feeling is more now, tied and infinite.

3. End of Season

It was a loss. Boston 5 - Montreal 4. Dinah had to hold back her tears when she saw the final score on her screen. Pasternak really shut the door on them. Her phone is a Roman Candle in a room of near darkness. She unlocks her phone and sends a text to Arber and Juraj.

To: Big Bro, Juraj

Hugs. god, I'm so sorry. I know how hard you both fought this season. Do you need me to come over?

From: Big Bro

You know where the key is, Dee. We wouldn’t mind company.

A new message pops up, just between Dinah and Juraj.

From: Juraj

I’ll keep the couch warm. You want to pick a movie?

Dinah comes over and slips her shoes off before shuffling over to Arber, resting her head in his lap. Juraj toddles over and shoves his head in Dinah’s lap.

“You’re a puppy dog, I swear Slaf. Needy baby.”

That made Arber laugh, Juraj turning pink as the movie started.

4. Arber, Juraj and Dinah hanging out before Juraj asks Dinah on a date

Dinah sat themselves down, fiddling with the ring on her index finger as she waited for the boys. Now that the season was truly over, exit interviews done, there was a tiny, faint buffer of time before everyone scattered for the summer.

“Baby Dee!”

“Arber!” They crashed into each other, squeezing tight as Arber lifted Dinah off the ground.

Juraj follows Arber, quiet as he blinks at Dinah.

“Can I?”

“I’m a hugger Juraj, it’s fine. C’mere.” He’s gentle and wraps himself around her.

“So, I hear you’re heading home soon?” Arber nudges Juraj into a corner, raising his eyebrows.

“To finish my schooling, yes. In a few days, but I want to ask you something. Dinah, would you join me for a walk? Nothing too —“

“It’s a date Dee, Slaf is just shy. Meet him at the park Saturday, hm? We both know you think he’s cute.” Both Dinah and Juraj turn crimson.

“HEY. I told you that in confidence you dork!”

“You think…I’m cute? Not just something Arber is saying to be funny?” Arber gets up, heading to the bathroom and the air gets still.

“No. He’s telling the truth. I didn’t want to distress you—“

Juraj grabs Dinah’s hand and squeezes it.

“I like you more. I remember…. I remember my draft day and you couldn’t stop looking at me and I couldn’t stop thinking about you writing wondering what was making you scribble so fast.”

5. Dinah and Juraj’s First Date

“Time with you is never a waste, Slaf. You make any day less gray.”

“Sunshine, the sun is telling me I make their days better. Follow me. I have a surprise for you.” Dinah links pinkies with Juraj and follows him down the path to a picnic blanket laid out with food.

“How in the… Jura how —“

“Arber. Said feeding you would be the best way to woo you. Love you.” Dinah squeezes Juraj’s pinky again, the sentiment sending butterflies through their spine. The blanket has a bowl of strawberries at the center.

“Sandwiches, lemonade and oh, oh I love fruit! Jura, I thought you don’t like strawberries?”

“They’re not my favorite, but you are. Sit, let me feed you.” Dinah shuffles herself between Juraj’s legs and lets her body relax fully into his chest.

The basket shifts closer to the pair, and before long the taste of strawberries breaches Dinah’s lips. Sweet, tart, and juicy. They stay like this, Dinah being fed til every last strawberry was gone.

“How did you know that you wanted to be a journalist?”

The question makes Dinah freeze. Their head tilts back to meet Juraj’s eyes, and Dinah smiles.

“I’m fond of telling stories, and the only way I really could convey it is by following other’s stories. I tried writing fictional stories but it didn’t stick. The only common thread my family seems to share is hockey, from the love of the game to the thrill of watching it. It’s the only way I know how to do what I do best. To show my love to the people in my life.”

To show love? Juraj takes a breath, eyes meeting Dinah’s. He tries to kiss them, getting their nose. Again, their forehead before Dinah tugs his face to hers.

“I still like you most.”

“You’re not right. I wanted to kiss you proper —“

Dinah kisses Juraj again, but deeper, eyes shutting closed.

“I see.”

“I hope so because you seem ready to explode.”

5. The Summer Haze

Juraj is going to surprise her. The box in his hands feels heavy, but after talking (and getting laughed by Arber) he’s sure this is the right choice.

Two steady raps on the door, and the door swings open to show a sleepy Dinah.

“You’re back early. What has you coming over?” Juraj gives Dinah the box and blushes.

“For you. I noticed the recorder was falling apart, so I got you a nicer one.”

“I like this. I like you.” It gets quiet for a moment before Juraj tugs Dinah close to him.

“I like you most.” A kiss to her head, her cheek and her lips.

“I like you most, Jura. Stop trying to one up me.”

“No. I’m always going to like you more.”

As Dinah pulls Juraj inside to cuddle, the thrum of her heart finally goes steady.

June 21, 2019

Sixteen year old Remington sat next to Luke in the corner of a restaurant in Vancouver.

It was pretty late at night and they have been out all day as today was the 2019 NHL Draft, and a lot of people all joined together at the restaurant to celebrate together.

Remington had felt he socialized more than enough for one day and sat with Luke as far as possible away from everyone.

The two best friends were laughing a lot watching their brothers and friends do karaoke.

Luke slid out of his seat going to the bathroom and leaving Remington alone, making Remington pull out his phone and start scrolling.

Remington felt a body flop down next to him in the booth and throw an arm over his shoulder, his body shuddered slighty at the touch and knew exactly who it was, Cole.

Remington has now known Cole for over two years and he would maybe consider Cole a friend now but Cole was always going to be his older brother’s best friend.

Remington knew he had a crush on Cole, Cole was the first guy he ever had a crush on but he knows it can never be anything more because of Trevor.

Anytime Cole and Remington are ever alone within in minutes Trevor has interrupted them, Remington knows Trevor doesn’t even realize what he is doing but it only reminds Remington why being with Cole can never happen.

With Cole getting drafted to Montreal and heading to Wisconsin for College, Remington hoped the distance would make him lose any feelings he has for Cole and finally get over him.

“Hey Remi!” Cole shouted beaming extremely wide, Remington could smell the alcohol coming off of Cole.

“Hello Cole.” Remington spoke back his shoulders tense with how close Cole is and how much he is touching him.

Cole reached up and started playing with Remington’s hair, “It’s so pretty.” Cole looked enthralled as he looked and played with Remington’s blonde hair.

“Thank you.” Remington stoically said trying not to lean into Cole’s touch knowing he is just drunk and Cole is a touchy drunk.

“You’re so pretty.” Cole softly spoke rubbing his fingers across Remington’s face and before he could even think about responding.

“Coley!” Trevor shouted looking just as drunk as Cole as he stumbled over to the pair, “Remi!” Trevor happily gasped as he saw his baby brother there and pulled him into a hug.

“Come Coley, Jacky has a new song for us to sing.” Trevor let go of his baby brother and wrapped an arm around his best friend instead.

Remington watched as Trevor dragged Cole away and realized Trevor had interrupted them again, it was just another reminder that Remington needed to get over Cole.

“Do you wanna try?” Gwen asked him softly, the newly couple were relaxing in her room while her brother and a few of his friends were watching a football game in the living room. They were relaxing in her bed as they looked through some pictures she had taken and printed out, but she noticed that her boyfriend's gaze kept on moving to her guitar that was propped up prettily on the other side of her room next to her vanity. 

“Can i?” Juraj asked with a hopeful smile, he had seen his girlfriend play her guitar many times and God was it so attractive, he knew it was a strong passion for her, and he wanted to be able to enjoy her passions as well. 

Gwen perked up at the thought of her teaching him how to play and she quickly and carefully placed the pictures in the brown box that was covered in a bunch of stickers and placed it on her side table. Juraj watched her with a smile as she skipped over to her guitar and carefully picked up her black electric guitar. 

“Of course, you just have to be careful with my baby” Gwen smiled as she gently held the neck of her guitar as she walked over to him, careful not to trip over her black and white star fluffy carpet. Juraj quickly took off his hoodie, leaving him in his white shirt and sweats before moving to sit on the edge of her bed, looking up at her with a smirk “I thought i was your baby?” 

“You're my baby boy, but Saide, Saide is my baby girl” Gwen teases as she holds her to her chest, slowly rubbing the neck of her guitar teasingly throwing a wink his way, they both knew what she was doing. Juraj chuckled and reached forward, resting his large hands on her legging clad thighs and pulled her to stand between his legs, tilting his head to look up at her “Should i be jealous?” 

“You are pretty hot when you're jealous” Gwen teased as she looked down at him with her own smirk, brown eyes meeting. Juraj bit his lip and felt his heartbeat faster from being under her gaze, he cleared his throat and turned his attention down to her guitar – oh sorry Sadie, and moved his hands for her to pass her to him.

Gwen noticed the flustered look on his face and decided it was time to stop her teasing before it went further then they both were ready for. She passed him sadie and showed him how to hold her properly, a smile on her lips as he looked up at her with his puppy eyes, ready for her to reach him more. 

“Am I holding it right?” Juraj asked quietly after a few minutes of him just strumming the same cords she taught him. Gwen moved from sitting by his side and moved to sit behind him on her knees, resting her chin on his shoulder as she looked between his hands and his perfect side profile. Gwen has a small frown on her lips as she noticed his trembling hands “Your hands are shaking” 

Juraj’s breath hitched, and he stopped strumming, his hands were in fact shaking, and it was because of her. Having her so close, her chest pressed against his back, every time he took a breath he could smell her perfume, the perfume that drove him crazy. The smile and small giggle she let out every time he made a mistake was not helping him concentrate at all. He really hoped she couldn't hear or feel his very fast heartbeat. 

Gwen watched him with knowing eyes, her gaze falling to his Adam apple as he swallowed hard and cleared his throat. Gwen smirked and moved closer to him, resting her hand on his shoulder while the other rubbed the closest one to her, sending a chill down his spine at the feeling of her black nails scratching softly against his skin. Gwen whispered in his ear ‘Do I make you nervous?” 

“You know you do” He whispered back, his accent strong. Tilting his head to get a better look at her, he’s welcomed by the sight of her big brown eyes looking up at him and the prettiest smirk on her face. He felt goosebumps spread across his neck at the feeling of her warm breaths hitting his skin. 

Gwen let out a small hum of satisfaction from his words, it was nice to hear that she also made him nervous, because she knew it was obvious to him that he also made her nervous. She watched as his eyes dropped to her lips before quickly looking back to her eyes. Her eyes in turn fell to his lips, not looking away as she slowly leaned in. 

Juraj couldn't help but hold his breath and freeze completely under her touch as she moved closer to him, tilting his head more towards her and fluttering his eyes close at the feeling of their lips locking in a soft kiss. It was an awkward position but neither of them cared. Gwen moved her hand from his arm to softly caress his jaw before cupping it, as their lips moved slowly in tandem. 

Juraj’s neck was starting to ache from the position, and he desperately wanted to pull her close and touch her, but he couldn't with Sadie in his lap. So, he reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and stood up from the bed. “Where are you going?” Gwen asked with a pout as she watched him walk to the other side of her room, a blush on her cheeks from the breathtaking kiss. 

“Putting sadie away, wouldn't want your baby girl to get jealous” Juraj teased as he looked back to send her a wink before he gently put the guitar on the stand. He could hear the distant shouts from Cole and their friends in the living room, clearly not happy with how the game was going. Juraj paused at her record player and carefully placed the needle on the outer rim, the sound of the smiths filing her room. 

“You're such an idiot” Gwen laughed happily as she changed her position in bed, now laying on her back, resting her head on her pillows. Juraj chuckled and moved to the bed, laying down on his stomach by her side, looking down at her with a smile. She looked so pretty looking up at him with her pretty brown eyes, her hair all over the place on the pillows. 

Juraj hummed and brought his hand up to softly caress her flushed cheeks, his large hand was bigger than her face. He leaned down and softly kissed the tip of her nose, chuckling when she does that adorable nose scrunch “Mhm but I’m yours” 

Gwen smiled and snuggled closer to him, wanting his warmth. The sweet sound of The Smiths playing in the background made the moment sweeter. She gently took hold of the collar of his shirt and pulled him down for a kiss. He let out a hum of surprise, but he was eager and quick to kiss back. 

Juraj took charge of the kiss, nibbling softly on her bottom lip so she could get the hint to part her lips and that's exactly what she did. Their tongues fought in a battle that turned in his favor too fast, the kiss turned heated, and she felt herself sink deeper into her bed as Juraj moved closer to her. 

Gwen moaned in the kiss and pulled him closer to her, one of her hands cupping his jaw while the other rested on his lower back, one of his hands cupping her jaw while the other was traveling down her side, squeezing her waist softly. Gwen slowly pulled away, both of their eyes fluttering open, a smile on their lips as they locked eyes. She whispered breathlessly against his lips 

“And I'm yours”

Gwen ‘n Juraj’s first kiss happened during their second date , they had planned on going out to this new cafe but the weather had its own plans. Juraj didn’t want to leave her at her and Cole’s apartment alone during the storm (Cole was staying with Nick ) so they decided to just have their date inside instead of rescheduling.

They were curled up on the couch in the living room , sharing a blanket and a small tub of ice cream with two spoons. They were watching stranger things , Gwen was in shock when Juraj told her that he’s never watched it before. They were on the 5th episode and Gwen was giggling about Steve and juraj was confused about the strong sense of jealousy he felt about that.

He couldn’t pay attention to the tv , all he could focus on was Gwen who was cuddled up in his side , a pretty smile on her lips as she watched her favorite show. He took in every detail of her face.

A shy smile came across both of there faces once Gwen looked up at him when she felt his stare , she went to ask him if he’s okay but her words got caught in her throat at the look he was giving her , and she couldn’t help but get lost in his eyes and before they knew it they were both leaning in and there eyes were closing.

The first kiss only lasted a few seconds, it was soft and quick. But the eye contact they shared after proved that the few second kiss wasn’t enough for either of them. The show and ice cream was the last thing on their mind as juraj pulled her closer to them as they kissed again , the kiss going from soft and slow to heated.

They only pulled away because they needed air , and Gwen couldn’t help but giggle shyly and hide her face in his neck , a little shocked that that just happened. Juraj smiled and held her tight , placing soft kisses on her forehead.

It was a perfect first kiss between them , but neither of them were ready to talk about what just happened yet. So they cuddled and turned their attention back to the tv. They ended up falling asleep , Gwen waking up alone on the couch , a letter next to her phone from juraj . . . telling her that he had to leave for practice.

Cole was definitely worried at first , for two reasons !! The first reason is that he had to watch her go through a very brutal breakup and he did not want her to go through that again , it was terrible and Cole definitely became a lot more protective of her since then.

The second reason was that he really liked Juraj , he had became a very good friend of his and he knew that he also became a very close friend of Gwen’s , so he was worried that would change if they got together.

But Cole saw how happy they were together , the smiles , the lingering stares , the way they always had to bring up each other in some way , how juraj became a regular to the siblings movie nights . . . he saw how happy his little sister truly became around him and he knew he could never get in between that.

They both deserve to be happy , So Cole became one and if not the biggest Shipper of them !!

Short answer , yes , sometimes he does find himself getting jealous with how close she is to the two boys , but it’s never in a mean or overbearing way , and it’s not that he doesn’t trust her or the boys , because he does. Where are Gwen and juraj spending their summer?

they are spending some time in Slovakia visiting his family and friends, but they also went to visit Gwen’s family and then her friends in Michigan . they also had a two week vacation in Italy and Spain (they went to the f1 gp) , but other than that they are traveling with friends and staying in Montreal for the end of summer .

If you feel comfortable, what was juraj and Gwen’s first time together like?

When Gwen had told Juraj that she was a virgin , Juraj felt a lot of things stir in his chest. A strong feeling of possessiveness at the fact that she wanted to give it to him, not take but give. But he also felt a lot of nervousness because he wanted it to be perfect , romantic and loving just like she deserves , a night she wouldn't regret.

Juraj knew that Valentine's day was coming up , and it would be their first time celebrating it as a couple , and he wanted it to be special. He was planning it for weeks , with the permission of Cole and the help of arber he planned the perfect little getaway for the two of them.

He had rented a cabin in the snowy woods for the two of them for the weekend , and God gwen was so surprised and happy. The second day was valentine's day and they spent the day with breakfast in bed , they went out to tour the town a little and then when they got back to the cabin , Juraj made dinner for them. And they spent some time in the Hot tub.

Gwen was a little confused when Juraj pulled away from their heated makeout in the hot tub , whispering breathlessly against her lips to stay there. Gwen waited there patiently in the hot water until Juraj called for her. Gwen quickly dried off and wrapped herself up in a towel as she walked into the master bedroom.

She looked around the room in awe at the sight , there were lit candles all over the room and Juraj stood there with a bouquet of her favorite flowers , tulips. But what made it special was the music playing in the background , all songs from her playlists.

Gwen had imagined her first time many times before , but no imagination could have prepared her for the love , passion and care Juraj showed her that night. He was sweet and loving , talking her through it all. It was perfect and everything she imagined and more.

The aftercare was even sweeter , Juraj carried her into the warm bath where he gently washed her body and hair. They cuddled in the hot bath just enjoying each other's presence before getting out and changing into some comfy clothes , cuddling on the couch in front of the lit fireplace as they ate the delicious desert. They then talked all night until they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Octavia stayed in the hotel lobby waiting for her twin to pick her up to spend the night with Jack and Luke.

She got a text from Luke that he was here and she picked up her duffle bag and slipping her back pack onto her shoulders, she walked out of the front door smiling seeing Luke leaning against the car, she quickly walked over dropping her duffle bag onto the floor pulling Luke into a tight hug. Luke wrapped his arms around his twin sister tightly swaying slighty.

“Hi Win!” Luke smiled kissing the side of her head.

“Hi Lucky.” Octavia smiled relaxing into the hug, the two hugged goodbye other for a good few minutes before reluctantly letting go, Luke grabbed her and and set it in the back seat letting Octavia jump in the passenger seat.

The two chatted for the whole car ride to Luke and Jack’s apartment before they parked the car and headed up to the apartment.

Luke unlocked the apartment door letting them in seeing Nico and Jack on the couch watching a game, they both looked up hearing the door open.

Jack smiled and slowly jumped off the couch quickly walking over to them gently pulling Octavia into a hug having not seen her in almost two months, “Hi Moony.”

Octavia smiled very slightly hugging her brother back before pulling away, “Hey Rowdy. You’re not playing tomorrow?” Octavia questioned as she knew his shoulder has not been getting any better and has been waiting to have surgery, Luke said they were planning it soon.

“No, we’ve decided i’m heading out tomorrow to Colorado and the day after i’m getting the surgery.” Jack grimly told his sister, he hates that he missed playing against Quinn once and now would miss two games against his sister but he was glad he was finally going to get his shoulder fixed.

Octavia nodded and gently pulled him back into another hug before letting go and Octavia looked over waving softly at Nico, Nico smiled waving back.

“Alright she my twin.” Luke grumped throwing his arm over Octavia, Jack just fondly rolled his eyes knowing Luke has just missed his twin and wanted to spend time with her.

Luke led his two down the hallway to his room letting her put her bags down and Luke jumped onto his bed and patted the spot next to him, Octavia slid her shoes off and sat on the spot laying her head on Luke’s shoulder, as they began to talk about everything for the next hour.

Octavia felt her phone buzz and she pulled it out her pocket knowing she only gets notifications from certain people, she softly smiled seeing a text from Simon.

Luke smirked seeing the sappy look on her face and read the text rasing an eyebrow, “Oooooo!” Luke seemed to want Simon and Octavia to get together more now as he relized Simon is his teammate. Luke has also been teasing her more once he found out Simon was his teammate.

Octavia just rolled her eyes at her brother, “Really L-“She was cut off from Jack yelling there names.

Octavia and Luke shared a rolling eye look but walked out of his room to the living room and kitchen, Octavia saw Jack pulling out ingredients and saw chopped up vegetables on a cutting board, “Are you guys hungry?” Jack looked at his twin siblings, Nico having left a few minutes ago.

“Always.” Luke shrugged.

“It’s not broccoli is it.” Octavia smirked slightly towards Jack, who just stuck his middle finger at his sister making her snicker slightly, “Yeah i could eat.” Octavia nodded, sitting in the bar stool with Luke sliding in the seat next to her as Jack finished up dinner.

Octavia replied to Simon’s texts while Luke pulled out his phone.

A few minutes later Jack was done and the twins got up and plated the food, Jack made chicken rice bowls with different vegetables.

The three all started eating talking about anything, Octavia and Luke thanked Jack and cleaned up the plates and washed the dishes for him while Jack picked out a movie for them to watch for the rest of the night.

Jack looked over on the other side of the couch and couldn’t help but smile seeing the twins all cuddled up and fast asleep.

Jack felt terrible for them knowing how much the two have always hated being separated and he had a feeling that Octavia was having a harder time then Luke has been having, Octavia moving to new a city alone and away from her twin at least Luke moved in with Jack and had some family with him.

Jack knew Luke has been taking it terrible as many nights Jack will find Luke asleep with tears on his face and Luke seems to hate sharing a seat with anyone on the bus so use to always sitting with his twin and Jack noticed that Luke will look to his side a lot like he is expecting Octavia to be there. Jack hoped one day the twins would be able to be on the same team again.

Octavia hugged Jack tighter than she usally does, “It will go well.” Octavia mumbled reassuring knowing Jack is stressed about his surgery happening really soon.

“Thanks Moons.” Jack appreciated the comfort from his baby sister something she doesn’t give often.

Octavia stepped back and let Luke walk over and hug Jack tightly as well before they watched Jack pick up his duffle bag wave at them and head out of the apartment.

Jack was heading to Colorado for his shoulder surgery.

“Come on you have practice.” Octavia pushed Luke towards his shoes and they headed out of the apartment

Octavia didn’t have practice with her team but Luke did so she decided to join and sit in the stands.

“You’ll be okay?” Luke looked worried at his twin sister as they walked down the hallway towards the locker room.

“I’ll be fine Lucky.” Octavia softly reassured him and gently pushed him to his locker room and waved softly before continuing walking down the hallway until she got to the ice and she sat at the top of the seat section.

Octavia pulled out her headphones and sketchbook and started drawing while listening to her music.

She was so focused she did not realize the Devils were already on the ice and practicing until she felt a pair of eyes on her and she looked up seeing Simon staring at her with a soft smile.

Octavia waved and watched as Simon quickly waved back before Luke bumped into and he must of said something because Simon was suddenly bright red and Octavia smiled slighty seeing them interact.

Octavia stayed drawing until she saw the team getting off the ice having finished practice and heading back down the ice.

Octavia headed back to the locker room and leaned on a wall near the entrance to the room.

Simon was one of the first to come out of the locker room after practice and perked up seeing Octavia waiting outside the room he walked right over to her.

“Hi Octavia.” Simon soflty greeted smiling happily at her.

“Hi Si.” Octavia softly greeted back and willingly let him pull her into a soft hug, she held on a little tighter having missed Simon not that she would admit to anyone before reluctantly pulling away.

Luke walked out a few minutes after Simon and found Simon and Octavia chatting and both of them smiling as they looked at each other and standing pretty close to each other.

Luke couldn’t wait until they finally get together.

He walked over to them making them stop the conversation and turn to him.

“Bye Si.” Octavia mumbled and bit her lip and decided to lean up and press a gentle kiss to Simon’s cheek before quickly walking away with Luke following her.

Simon blinked owlishly blushing bright red as he brought his hand up to his cheek beaming as he watched her walk away.

The Maple Leafs beat the New Jersey Devils that night 5-2. Octavia had one goal and one assist.

April 11, 2024

Octavia and Luke have thoroughly enjoyed the last few days being able to spend quite a lot of time together, it was fun for them to spend a night together in both of their apartments.

Luke was actually kinda excited the season was ending for him because he would been able to spend more time with his sister, and if the Leafs get out of the playoffs Octavia told Luke she would join him at Worlds and Luke was really excited by that possibility.

The second game of the Devils and Leafs back to back games was alot closer than the first and the score let going back and forth.

Octavia turned around in the ice at the sound of whistle being blown and saw Max and Simon getting into a fight and she raised an eyebrow having not seen Simon drop his gloves yet, she let out a little chuckle as she had eye contact with Simon as he was guided to the penalty box and he just smirked at her.

Octavia shook her head pursing her lips not wanting to admit how hot that was, even if he did not fight that well.

Matthew scrunched up his nose in disgust seeing Octavia staring at her lover boy, something he never wanted to see.

Octavia had an amazing game getting two goals but it was not enough and the Leafs still lost 5-6 to the Devils.

Octavia and Luke saying goodbye this time wasn’t as sad as usual because they knew they would be seeing each other very soon and then would have the whole summer together.
