In Qing Jing's peak, it's a normal daily occurrence for two disciples to start a debate that slowly everyone becomes a part of. There is a board present in helping explanations and grappling with ideas. Even SQQ would get involved mainly cause they need someone to fact check but also because they need a ref in case it does devolve into fighting somehow

Tbh, I think it's kind of a waste that the flickies were dropped from Tails' super form in later games. Like I just kind of find it hilarious that while Sonic, Shadow, and arguably even Knuckles go Super Saiyan when they go super, Tails goes Super Disney Princess and summons birds that attack whoever tries to mess with him. I just think it's really funny.

Is it a hc or did they say that he didn't? Because now that i think about it chuuya said he celebrated the same night when dazai left the mafia But dazai went missing a few times before so how would everyone immediately know he left the port mafia? Did he leave a note in Mori's Office or something? xd I really wish we knew how that night went down. Was he just casually telling everyone that whole day that he was leaving?

Imagine what everyone's reactions to that would've been lmao

Would people have taken it seriously? Would the subordinates have laughed nervously because they weren't able to tell if he was joking or not?

i could simply imagine some dialogue was slightly different, but it's infinitely funnier to imagine the MC has managed to independently date all the Summoners without the others realizing, leading to the misunderstanding of the century after Ch.8

Speaking of stupid reasons to criticize the Autobots (or rather, the opposite), I actually find the ““““problematic”““““ nature of Cop IDW Optimus and other elements of the plot to be quite essential to enjoying the story and seeing it as a balanced, nuanced story.

Because like... in other continuities, the story of revolution seems to be very much “there were good revolutionaries and there were bad ones, and then the bad ones wanted to be in charge and then they fought about it for 4 million years.” Which seems very weak to me not just in the “revolution bad” sense, but it makes me wonder how the war could go on for millions of years when the Autobots and Decepticons literally had the same goal and achieved it, now they’re just fighting over who gets to be in charge.

But like, in IDW1, the Autobot insignia and stuff already existed as a badge for the previous regime of the Prime/Senate. Orion Pax (now Optimus Prime) was a lackey of Zeta Prime who was either his loyal puppet at best or being groomed for the position of Prime at worst. Most of the people Optimus Prime recruited to help him fight were other police officers and military members he was affiliated with, who were already cracking down on the Decepticon movement as it became more and more violent.

With that base of Optimus/the Autobots being actually ~problematic~, I can absolutely see why the Decepticons wouldn’t consider the war over and would continue fighting. I mean, why the hell would they trust a police enforcer/military officer who was lackeys with the PRIME? Why would they think Optimus actually believes in peace and equality?

Of course, the Decepticons have their own problems as well. What was once a universal political movement (because remember, the Decepticon movement began with Megatron’s writings but he was NOT the leader of a militarized faction until Megatron Origins) was taken over by essentially an underground criminal gladiator organization that began engaging in weapon trafficking, crime, and terrorism. From the Autobot perspective, the Decepticons are allies for equality gone bad due to Megatron’s violent influences and the gladiator/criminal aspects overtaking the actual social equality vibes.

I just think that the premise of IDW1′s Autobot-Decepticon war is so good because like, the Autobots and Decepticons existed in a way BEFORE either Megatron or Optimus became the official leaders of those two specific, organized, militarized factions. But the society that created them and the two different social classes they came from doomed them to distrust each other. It wasn’t ever a fight about who got to be in charge, it was a war between two different factions of people who had every reason to distrust each other and think that the other faction would subjugate them if they allowed them to gain power.

The day was going as per normal, Ciri is running around doing her lessons, focusing hard to replicate her mentors actions and many times additional instructions, in an attempt to help the girl along. 

Unlike normal, though, was her new shadow.

Lambert has been following her around the entire day, always about 10 feet back and resting against the nearest wall, looking rather bored. Eskel shakes off the urge to ask his brother just what in the world he could be doing, but Ciri doesnt seem to mind him being there and figures its some sort of bonding ritual the pup had come up with to get closer to his niece. 

He is about to walk away when Ciri accidentally knocks into a vile she was meant to keep upright, the small ashen poof coating her as if she had been working in the dirt all day, the force blowing her hair in all sorts of directions. 

This was her third mess up in a row, the steam nearly visible coming from her ears and she fights the urge to scream.

“ARE YOU-” she pauses for just a second, Eskel watching as his brother fills in seamlessly, hiding the chuckle in his voice.

“Fucking,” he offers, waving a hand dismissivly before going back to picking at his fingers.

“-KIDDING ME?” she finishes without so much as a hesitation. Snorting a laugh, eskel slides into the space next to his brother.

“Okay, ill bite. What was that all about?” Lambert fights his own grin.

“Song bird banned Ciri from swearing, something about it not being lady like… So i volunteered to help.” he shrugs, as if it was obvious. 

“You just like saying fuck,” eskel dedapans, barely hiding the amusement in his tone. Lamberts even baritone beside him makes his shoulders shake with silent laughter.

“That doesn’t make my job any less important.”

so like. i know there's some theories about fen'harel being shartan, but i'm reading through some codex entries from inquisition and origins and shartan and andraste got really close during the war, and so did andraste and the maker, but what if the 'maker' was just shartan, who also happened to be solas aka fen'harel and would that mean that the 'maker' is just solas

the andrastian faith was created by her, and it was the second chance for the maker to return his gaze to humanity (the first time the gods went silent was when the fade was created - the first time the maker turned away from mankind)

and maybe what andraste was trying to get him to do to help mankind was bring the veil back down, to return the magic and gods back into the world, back with mankind.

shartan is often described as just an ideal and not a singular person, a kind of moniker. and if the maker was speaking to andraste through her dreams (assuming), couldn't it have been solas, who's been exploring the fade and witnessing real events through dreams, who was speaking to andraste as the maker?

and because not a single person would take an elf as their god, andraste created shartan, and described him how she saw the maker (solas)
