i wouldn't say i ship kacchako but i DO think their dynamic has so much potential! i wish horikoshi had explored their dynamic more, there are some nice parallels and their chemistry is just very funny, but i can see why he didn't do that, i tihnk a lot of people would have reduced it to a silly love triangle (people love to hierarchize deku's friendships so much i dont get it he loves them all)

i also think a lot of people's dislike for kacchako is a knee-jerk reaction because it's a m/f ship and could be easily reduced to a boring grumpy boy x cute girl dynamic, but i genuinely think they could have had a very nice dynamic in canon! and it's nice to see some people play with it in fanon, sometimes i see very cute fan art :) i think ochako is, similarly to deku, a very fun combination of very very kind and timid + stubborn and enough of a backbone to not let bakugo push her over.... would have loved to see bakugo try to handle that lmao

i don't think I vibe with deku and melissa, they're like cousins to me, especially with all might being her uncle, very cute canon dynamic though i like her

Domestic Bakugo headcanons, ft friends and family ~

note: I just think he's neat okay? and also I need some happy Bakugo thoughts these days, and I'm happy to provide them myself!

we all know Bakugo was a bit of a... boisterous kid, as they say

and while she will deny it to her dying breath, Mitsuki did love to see so much of herself in her only child

but suddenly, she's starting to see a bit much of it, if she's totally honest with herself

so, she decides it's time to get to work

all that energy needs to be directed somewhere besides making explosions and being a hero, he needs some goals that's closer to him where he is

so, it starts as challenges between the two of them: who can wash the dishes the quickest and best, who's best a vacuuming, how clean Katsuki can keep his room, etc

for a while that's all there is to it, but as he gets a little older, Katsuki starts finding some peace and sense of accomplishment from it all

it also makes him feel closer to his mother, but he won't ever admit that out loud

trough his life Bakugo always enjoyed things of good quality, and that includes food

when he was young, his father mostly did the cooking, and he was real good at it, so when he got a little older, Bakugo decided to learn from the best

Masaru was real taken aback by the request, but also very happy!

even tho he seems like the the calm one, Masaru happens to be curious to a fault, so when young Katsuki keeps wanting to try to explode food to cook it faster/better, he has a hard time saying no

only when they have to replace the entire row of countertops, the stove and both Masaru and Katsuki is left without eyebrows they decide to maybe pause the experimenting for a while lmao

when he moves into the dorms, Bakugo obviously takes control of the kitchen really fast

they do switch around who does what, but the cooking itself is highly monitored by Bakugo

the only one allowed to do it all alone is Sato, which he obviously sees as the greatest honor

Sero and Ojiro are currently on a very serious mission of getting the same trust, buut they've got quite the way to go

a couple of the other kids have been wanting Bakugo to teach them, esp Shouto and Mina, and even tho the lessons are few and far behind they do occasionally happen

Bakugo claims it's only so he won't have to eat their shitty food, but they all know he's getting softer

the only one he teaches without complaint is Eri, who he has a huge soft spot for

she even managed to convince him to help her plan and make a big fancy dinner for Aizawa and Mic once on their anniversary

and because of that, Bakugo is the only one in the class who knows when it is, and for far, no amount of bribery has gotten him to spill

which drives the other craaazy

Also he calls Kirishima mean nickanmes to do with his hair? He called Eijirou ‘Kirishima’ once because he was concerned about him. You silly people. 

Stop using that excuse to invalidate Bakugou ships. And you can not use that if you are not anti-endeavour, anti-mitsuki or anti-mineta. 

If he would be abusive to one person, he will be abusive to e v e r y o n e no exceptions. Abusers are abusers and you cant change that. There is no exceptions, ok? Lets talk about why it is invalid with certain ships.

Bakugou x Denki. (KAMIBAKU)

They are friends, they have multiple interactions where they aren't fighting. Denki is not scared of Bakugou at all, he just doesn’t like the yelling. He stands up to Bakugou plenty of times. He has called Bakugou ‘Kacchan without death. Or even Bakugou yelling at him. He has willing sat with Kaminari on multiple occasions when Kirishima was available. 

In season four, somehow, Kaminari was the only one who knew Bakugou used to take drum lessons. ANd yOU ARe telLing Me they aren't FrIENds.

Bakugou x Todoroki (TODOBAKU)

Todoroki is not afraid of Bakugou. Bakugou is only mean to him because of two things

1) he sees Todoroki as an equal competitor. 

2) The Sports Festival.

Todoroki is not afraid of Bakugou, their dynamic is amazing. And Bakugou is able to joke about Shouto. Does he make jokes around Kirishima? nO... NO HE DOES NOT.

See? Those are two perfectly valid ships, that people try to invalidate using that excuse. Kiribaku is valid but so is other ships.

Bakugo and Uraraka 

This would probably take place when you have been dating for a while, like after 6 months

When the news that Expo Anime was coming to your city, you immediately bought tickets, not even caring that Bakugo didn’t want to go (Uraraka basically had to scold him into coming with y’all)

You would disappear...for weeks, while working on your cosplay

Uraraka would help, which left Bakugo alone which got on his nerves (though he wouldn’t say or do anything about it

“I don’t get why we have to do this. It’s gonna be shitty” Bakugo would mumble earning another scolding from Uraraka

You didn’t care, even if Bakugo was going to complain. You wanted to go and dress up as your favorite character

The day arrives and you wake up at the crack of dawn with Uraraka who helps you do your make up

You two meet up with Bakugou at the train station, and Bakugo feels his heart was practically hit with a freight train

You were absolutely stunning. Cheeks were tinged rosy with blush. You were wearing a cute dress from some Shojo anime he never would watch with you (but he secretly knew that it was your favorite so he watched a few episodes in his spare time and your favorite character became his as well)

It was as if that character was walking in front of him.

“Come on guys! We have to catch the train or we’ll be late” you would say running on ahead, barely able to contain excitement.

Bakugo couldn’t stop blushing and felt his heart thumping hard

“I told you that you would have fun today~” Uraraka jokes, holding his hand, “now let’s catch up with our girlfriend before she steals someone else’s heart too”

Bakugo would yell that it would never happen cause you were his and Uraraka’s

Bakudeku: The oldest child. Kinda a nutcase but everyone still loves them because they’re the oldest (most developed). Trying to get their shit together.

Kiribaku: Second oldest. The golden boy. Actually works hard and gets good grades. Everything everyone wanted from the oldest.

Iideku: The middle child. Really out here trying but no one pays any attention to them.

Tododeku: Youngest. Gets a ton of attention even though they don’t do much.

Kacchako: Accident kid. Definitely have people that love them, everyone else doesn’t really know why they exist.

Izuocha: Mom. Always there. Sweet and cares about you. Kind of in your face.

Todomomo: Dad. Has their shit together. Responsible af.

Ochaco does not deserve any hate. There is no valid reason to hate Ochaco. She may be becoming a hero for money, but please remember that she is broke as fuck and she wants to support her family.

Its canon that Uraraka eats as little as possible so that she can save money. She isnt a damsel in distress, she is strong and independent. The only reason she is hated on, is because of Izuocha.

they hate Izuocha because its het and canon. And honestly i think its adorable. But they dont give Izuku shit for it because they are to busy calling Izuku an uwu soft baby and shipping him with Shouto and/or Bakugou.
