i hope you guys know that it's canon that after adrien rejects kagami's confession in pre- tweos (and i when i say "rejects" i mean it. she asks "do you love me too", and he straight up looks her in the eye and says "No" with his entire chest) she immediately goes home and listens to Katy Perry's "Ur So Gay" for three hours straight to cope. and she's right for that ngl he's a lil bitch

So ... hum ... according to iwasbored777 and the leaked parts of episodes scripts she read, Félix stalked Kagami, kidnapped her and murdered her mother in front of her.

And Kagami will still fall for such a toxic and abusive person, so now I'm torn between feeling bad for Kagami, and being dissapointed in her not only because she'll become friend with a girl who hurt Marinette (who is supposed to be Kagami precious friend) but Kagmi will be attracted to a dude who also hurt Marinette. And even if Kagami doesn't know that Felix tricked and betrayed Ladybug in the worst way possible, I think I remember this part of a script from Emotion where Felix as Argos kidnap Marinette in front of Kagami or something during emotion ? Yeah that really doesn't protray Kagami as a good friend if she become attracted to Felix after this

But I still feel very bad for Kagami because with the way her mother raised her and is still emotionally abusive toward her, Kagami could easily doubt her friendships and accept the attention of somoene who can relate to her and understand her feelings.

At this point if Adrien truly does start to stand up to Marinette's bullies in the next epsiodes the Love Square is definitelly the healthiest ship of the show. Those who think it's toxic really need to look twice at the Gabenath ship, and at how the Feligami ship could turn out to be

Whever Felix gets a redemption or not he still sounds and seem too insane for my taste and Kagami does indeed needs better standards.

A guy like Luka for example. Maybe that's why the writters will get him out of the way in episode 13 Migration by making him go travel with his father and then meet Su-han and being teached Mirakungfu. They probably knew that after Determination there would be more Lukagami shippers and they didn't want any competition to get in the way of Feligami

I really really hope that ml writters intentions are to portray toxic and unhealthy relationship with Feligami and how someone who was shelttered and isolted their whole life and are starved for love and affection can easilly fall for abusers's manipulative tactics. I hope that if the Feligami ship comes true and Felix doesn't drastically change for the better, that his relationship with Kagami won't last.

After all we had the Lukanette and Adrigami ships coming true only for a short time so it's not impossible that Feligami may also be temporary and that at the end of the show she could find a better love partner for Kagami

And I also hope Kagami will realize at some point that Lila is the one lying and being a bad friend who only befriended Kagami in order to hurt Marinette and maybe get to Adrien.

But maybe that's just whishfull thinking on my part, and if the ML writters truly believe that the current Felix and Kagami are right for each others and that there would be nothing wrong in their relationship while Felix remain toxic and abusive, then I guess that will be another big flaw we can objectively acknowledge in their writting

I'm afraid what this would teach kids watching Miraculous though

Now if Felix softens thanks to Kagami because he has guenuine feelings for her and feels bad about her toxic and abusive relationship with her mother, and thus truly wants Kagami to be free from her mother's grasp, maybe Feligami could work. The problem will come if the authors rush things too much between Felix and Kagami.

I’m starting to understand now why everyone is starting to believe that Adrien and Kagami are senti-monsters. I still don’t believe it, but I can see why everyone else maybe convinced and the first clue was Gabriel and Emilie’s wedding rings. 

I could never understand why they were so important or why Gabriel and Felix were so obsessed with them to begin with, but based on the last episode, it’s hinted they have the power to control... Adrien! Both Gabriel and Nathalie was fiddling with them when it came to Adrien deciding whether or not he should purse his relationship with Marinette.

Plus in a previous episode, Felix was surprised when he saw that Kagmi has her own special ring, hinting it could be the ring that controls her! This just keeps getting interesting.

Kagmi sighed and finished the last of her drink.

“So that’s your final answer?” Tomoe asked, her Face was as cold as ever, and had no expression, but her voice did have a slight air of guilt.

“Yes.” Kagami replied. “I don’t think we can fix this. I’m an adult now. I’ve spent too long trying to earn your love. I don’t need it now. My friends love me for who I am. Not what I can do.”

“I always loved you.” Tomoe sighed. “I just wanted you to be successful. I never lived up to my potential. I’m sorry. I know that can’t make up for it, but.

“No it can’t!” Kagami snapped, tears in her eyes. “I’m your daughter! Not a project! You should have at least said it once or twice! I Shouldn’t have to earn my family’s love!”

“No. You shouldn’t.” Tomoe Agreed. “ I guess it’s easier if we just part ways then. I’ll let you do what you want. If you want us to be a family. You know where I am. I’m proud of you Kagami. I should have said that a long time ago.”

Tomoe walked out of the flat, and closed the door. A very angry Dustin was waiting in the hall way to escort her back to her car.

“If you have something to say young man. say it.” Tomoe insisted. While here eyes didn’t work, she could always tell when someone was glaring at her.

“If you ever hurt Kagami again.” Dustin snarled. “I will ram my thumbs into your eye sockets and jiggle them around really hard!”

Tomoe couldn’t help but laugh.

“You are a crude young man Mr Daniels. I see why Kagami likes you.” Tomoe smiled as she considered her view on them. 

“Be good too her. She deserves to be happy. That must sound so hypocritical.”

“At least you’re not completely bind.” Dustin spat. His hatful glare barely softening.

With that they walked to her car, shut the door, and never saw each other again.

Im 4 episodes into season 4 and Im honestly really enjoying myself so far but I can see that some episodes that Ive heard pretty bad things about are coming up, so Id like to document some of my thoughts now before the Sentiadrien reveal happens and ruins the entire season for me

The fact that Lukanette and Adrigami respectively happened at the end of the season 3 finale only for them to break up within the first two episodes of this season is a really bad writing decision but I am glad that theyre not wasting too much of my time with this nonsense

I liked the Adrienette stuff at end of Mr Pigeon 72 and even the plot within the episode about Marinette projecting onto Kagmi and trying to get her and Adrien back together despite how obnoxious it was and despite my initial disappointment when I realized that this wouldnt be a fun episode about these two girlies going out to eat icecream or something. Idk, i think I just like watching Kagami and Marinette interact lol

I dont mind Alya knowing that Marinette is Ladybug now, Ive seen some people say that this is going to lessen the impact of the Love Square identity reveal when the episode came out and I agree but also I dont care that much about the LS at this point and Im glad that theyre focusing more on friendships instead of having all these girls fight over the same bland guy

The music is all off now, like theres different theme music for the transformations and the opening is done by a different person and Im so used to the music of the first three seasons that watching this sometimes feels like im watching a version of mlb from the Evil Dimension, its so uncanny. I think Im warming up to the transformation themes since they seem to be a lot more personalized and I can appreciate that but oughhhhhh why is the opening like now I hate i hate it i hate it

I can see what theyre going for with Marinettes new suit but Ive seen fan redesigns that do a wayyyyy better job with a similar concept and I dont like it very much. That being said, I think it is better than her previous one by virtue of being atleast a little more interesting visually

What I Liked

the vaguely moumou-like atmosphere it has, i think it's a mix of the way the setting is described---the details of the song household, their school, the smattering of friends, lin rong's restaurant, cotton candy and orange...it just sketches out this very vivid picture of their daily life and how it shaped song yu and yue shizhi into who they are, and i rly liked that! it makes the whole story feel more alive

the food descriptions!!!!! reading this in the middle of the night is like... dang im getting hungry just reading abt it!! war flashbacks to kdrama eating scenes!!!

as usual, i have to mention the ad ost lmao all 3 seasons have such lovely theme songs

song yu with the tags slapped onto him: "cold love interest" "doting love interest" "devoted love interest"

yue zhishi: "cute protagonist" "weak protagonist"

but also they're such a deep, interesting spin on the whole "cute/weak shou" and "cold doting gong" archetype, zhichu rly rly rly writes so well, i felt it even from yybl (but also both translators for yybl n kagmy r both rly rly good as well, which contributes a lot to the reading experience). the way song yu is so cold and detached not just bc "his personality is like that" but bc he has to repress his feelings for yue zhishi, and how he's even losing sleep over it, but he won't ever say anything out loud bc he knows it's wrong... how yue zhishi is so so dependent on him, oblivious to his own feelings, how the initiative has to come from yue zhishi and yet song yu takes it upon himself to be responsible for "leading his little brother astray" but also yue zhishi won't let him take that responsibility alone!! the way i wanted them to be happy because both of them really deserve that happiness... sigh

there r just so many small moments that it's hard to describe in one piece. song yu and yue zhishi's relationship is built upon all of these small moments glittering like stardust, gathered up inside a crystal clear bottle. when exactly did they fall in love? these two probably don't even know it themselves, but before they realized it, the crystal bottle has been filled with so much glittering stardust, their precious memories etched on each fragment

the cute au where they meet for the first time but have long since fallen in love w each other from exchanging their letters, very wholesome very cute i even love its placement (2 chapters right before the very last extra) and how it ties in to the last extra... sigh again

i cried at the letter song yu wrote actually that entire sequence of them coming out to the parents broke my heart

the car scenes how can i not mention the car scenes, zhichu car scenes r absolutely 😔👌

as a whole, zhichu also writes with this... sort of hopeful tone. like, her version of reality is a very very gentle and hopeful one. she doesn't outright gloss over gay relationship as "gay marriage is legal now for plot convenience reasons" but she also treats it as like, something people will eventually accept. her books are honestly just very gentle and warm (even though kagmy has like this melancholic undertone throughout the text, which can't be avoided but also makes it a p heavy read despite the deceptive "slice of life childhood friend romance" plot)

also also that quote on the s3 ad banner art which is also a spoiler to the last sentence of the main story, which is also the reference of s1 theme song title...

What I Disliked

mmh not quite dislike and also i understand why it's like that but like... the slow burn truly was slow, like glacially slow until they confessed n then things went Wild

Kakashi is known for being a ruthless Shinobi. Willing to kill at a moments notice, and give his life if beed be for His village

A lot of people don’t like this about him. They hate that he is willing to leave most other shinobi behind on a mission without worry, always putting the mission first

But what they hate most is that he has exceptions to this rule. People he WILL protect at all costs.

And what pisses a few of them off the most is just who Kakashi will protect. How obvious it is that Maito Gai means the world to Kakashi and how Kakashi won’t hesitate to remind them of that fact
