So I went back on break a while ago. But not before finishing up Nitowikwe questline; the new custom delivery client. I didn't really like it. Not much happens until the last bit of the story. This is sad. I usually have stuff to talk about with this type of content, like with Ehll Tou, Margrat, Anden, Ameliance, Charlemend or even Kai-Shirr. Etc... Etc... You get it.

This is my least favorite DT custom delivery client so far. I'm not even gonna bother doing the 150 collectable grind for this one. I usually reserve that type of grind for the clients that I end up enjoying. Like with the six clients that I've mentioned already.

Yeeeaaaah, I'm starting to get a bit more concerned. Outside of the music, Alliance raid and some moments from MSQ, I didn't really like the 7.1x patch cycle content.

And before you ask, no I didn't do the chaotic raid. I just get DRS flashbacks. How?! People kept leaving after 1-3 pulls and we'd constantly have to wait for our party to refill. Mind you that this was on day 1 and we were in a discord. Even some people in the discord were confused as to why people were leaving so soon.

So, yeah, I don't see myself doing that type of raid anytime soon.

Don't get me wrong I did enjoy myself on the first week. But the was in 7.1. The 7.1x content just wasn't it. For me at least. I really really just hope 7.2 will be better.

Sidenote: Wait, I almost forgot! I was so out of it, that I didn't even craft my gear for my DoL/DoH. And I started crafting my stuff last expansion. But anyway... The lastest gear for DoL and DoH is so good. Like, LOOK! The gear pieces are clean!! He got that shit on! 👀💦

Also, I wish the latest dungeon gear was dyeable. Why do they keep doing this?! :(

So, yeah, Ehll Tou is still my favorite custom delivery client. I hope 7.2 will be better. (Fingers crossed!) We have a Live Letter on Feb 7th for Patch 7.2 Part 1; so we'll see. And thank you for buying some of my stuff, random people! Okay, enough rambling! Bye now!

look i like erenville too i just dont think he was 1. originally meant to play a larger role in the msq and 2. i just think the way they did it feels very forced. partly it's bc of his accent not matching his new* backstory

*i say "new" bc i believe he was not originally meant to be from tural and that was only decided after the writers chose to add him to dawntrail's story. i suppose it doesn't affect the jp dub but idk it still feels like something that they just had to write around instead of a creative choice

Raahi (From The First) and Kai-Shirr relationship (not marriage yet?)

For starters, this Raahi is different from the regular one, you can read about it here.

With this context present, the two meet in the final section of Shadowbringer, when everyone gathers to help build the Talus, Raahi comes with other night's blessed carrying the heartstone and helping with the magicks. In first instance they interacted only out of necessity, Kai-Shirr gave the red-haired mystel a few instructions before returning to work.

Their next interactions came later, around "Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty", when Kai-shirr starts working in the Beehive, Raahi went to Eulmore on a stop on a kind of pilgrimage to the Talus, to watch over the heart stones of his brothers for one last time. As they had already been to the sunless sea, meeting the blue-haired mystel was just a coincidence, they bumped into each other on their way to the hive, and after a small exchange of pleasantries, Raahi set off on his way, Kai-Shirr having invited him for a drink when he finished his business.

After Raahi paid his respects to his brothers and the rest of Night's blessed, he took up Kai-Shirr's invitation, now that the sineaters were gone and his brothers could rest in peace, perhaps it was a good idea to unwind a little. Though the last thing he expected was what it was like where Kai-Shirr worked. At first he raised his eyebrow, trying to spot the blue-haired mystel among the dancers, but it ended up poking him in the shoulder to get his attention.

After a brief start from Raahi, they went to the bar where Kai-Shirr introduced him to one of his friends, Anfrigg, mentioning another member of their small group of friends who was busy at the moment, the red-haired mystel was not very experienced with drinking, so after only one drink he was already a bit affected, talking a bit more about his past and the reasons for his pilgrimage, making the atmosphere a bit more gloomy.

Kai-Shirr proceeded to also tell him of his own misadventures during Vauthry's reign and how he had acted as an informant for the Crystarium, which surprised the red-haired man and won his admiration. Seeing that the drink was rising fast to the night's blessed, the blue-haired man escorted him to rest, asking if he would like to talk tomorrow.

After that night, Raahi's visits to talk to Kai-Shirr became occasional, at first once every two weeks, occasionally bringing a handmade gift of his own or a product/crop from Rak'tika. Their conversations grew longer with each visit, and soon became a weekly occurrence. Two friends, having a drink, talking about their lives, nothing out of the ordinary.

Occasionally Raahi would visit the hive while the other Mystel was working, curious to see him in action, it was normal to see him a little tense at the start of the day and then loosen up as the day went on, perhaps that was why he had been so easy to talk to, he had been engaging with other people all day, Raahi was quick to meet Bosta-Zia, the friend that Kai-Shirr had mentioned during their first day over a drink.

While he was with her and Anfrigg, Raahi mentioned how much effort Kai-Shirr put in, finding it admirable how much effort he put in for Eulmore. The duo of friends mentioned all the work he had put in with an acquaintance who supplied him with things for the hive, told him of his dream during Vauthry's reign and how much the bluish mystel had grown since then, told him of how he practiced his manners to offer better service…

Raahi could only admire it, a small part of him wanted to know more, so when Kai-Shirr's shift was over, the redhead suggested he do something different and go for a walk, having been at work all day, he thought it would help the other relax, though the aforementioned seemed a little nervous perhaps being in the mindset of work was what helped the conversations flow smoothly?

Raahi leaned back looking at the ocean with genuine curiosity, it was not a common sight for him, and even less so in good company, though seeing that Kai-Shirr seemed a little self-conscious, he asked him about his future plans, which paralysed the other, Raahi only approached him placing a hand on his shoulder assuring him that it was fine.

After a while in silence looking at the sky and the sea, Kai-Shirr decided to talk, it felt a bit more awkward than his usual conversations, but not less enjoyable, when they finished talking, the blue-haired man seemed even more relaxed than usual.

Raahi proposed to repeat it, even offering to travel together sometime if he wanted to, seeing that he still hesitated, the red-haired man assured him that he had enjoyed being with him talking like this, that he didn't have to be on a role or trying too hard to be more formal, he liked being around him just the way he was.

Their transition to a relationship was gradual, the more frequent visits, the occasional getaway, gentle gestures when they greeted each other changing over time, only realising they were together when Bosta-Zia and Anfrigg asked them about it and the 'couple' looked at each other not quite knowing how to respond, though both seemed happy about it. It became official soon after they talked about it, and as expected, things didn't change much between them, only a few more gestures were added.

oh this is gonna be so hard considering he has no name (and i will never give him one). this is a huge ramble www under the cut it goes

okay first of all: his reflection is kai-shirr. that boy is his spitting image, except tarts dad was older and had pale blue hair and eyes, hahah. that first time tart saw him on the kholusian coast felt like being gutted with deja vu. he was born in ilsabard, maybe around corvos, in a village of mixed miqo'te tribes. hes from a big family w many siblings and half-siblings. the second oldest and strongest of the boys, all set to be warriors who will defend their home from garlemald. he took good care of his little siblings as a kid, then started to take up mercenary work really young to help provide for the family. or well. actually it was to gain his fathers approval. bc his old man really, really hated that his son was gay. he kept trying to do more, be more famous and achieve impressive things, bring in more money, its no use. there was a limit to what a guy could do in backwater ilsabard. so he went okay! ill go be famous in eorzea and then youll see, pops!! so off he went, bumping into a young viera in the woods and becoming fast friends w him, then the two joined the wol and her elezen partner as a party of adventurers in ul'dah. and they got a full party later on and became friends forever (citation needed)! yay!!

he was always the moodmaker of the group. the guy who kept everyone lighthearted and motivated. though more like the big brother or nice senpai than a class clown. unfortunately unlike at home hes like the youngest in the party so it was pretty silly seeing him give pep talks to the other guys visibly older than him wwww. hes also the kind of guy to instantly jump into a situation whenever one came up like "no worries ill handle this one! oh god oh fuck–" well he always managed somehow. despite being impulsive and kinda dumb miss wol trusted him the most to handle situations w her and be her cotank hehehehe. hes also a crazy workaholic. like you wouldnt think so bc hes very sociable too but his days were like 50% work 40% shooting the shit w everyone in town 10% everything else. he thinks life can only get better when you achieve more!!! insane achievement hunter mindset going on here. theres always something to improve at everyday, or else something new to learn. he could not sit still and never spent more than 2 seconds at home. which you can imagine was pretty sad for tart. haha. but he was also a very positive and caring person, always looking for what he can compliment out of any and all situations. its so out of pocket too sometimes, but no matter, the important part is staying positive!

if that sounds like toxic positivity, ohhh yeah lmao this guy was. he certainly was. he would never, everrrr show anyone his negative or vulnerable side. hes the guy whos supposed to cheer everyone up! it wont do to have him bummed out! well he would never admonish anyone else for having issues, but himself, most definitely. if he had problems he would stop at nothing to solve them. if theyre unsolvable he would stop at nothing to do anything else that would count as an achievement to make himself feel better. oh yeah man this is totally never gonna backfire horribly and ruin the family you built with your own hands (citation needed)
