Found at the entrance of shrines, a torii is a gate that separates the realm of our world and that of the divine and spiritual. An important symbol for Shintoism, it’s also one of Japan’s most defining characteristics. Around 90,000 of them are found across Japan and traces of the existence of toriis date back to over a thousand years ago, and sacred places are most commonly found amidst nature, sometimes in areas inaccessible to the public. Some shrines lose popularity due to their remote locations or unapproachable appearance.

To say that Akira Toriyama's works is what inspired to me to start drawing as a child would still vastly understate what he meant to me as well as so many others.

I hope we continue to celebrate your life and what you have given as while you rest in peace Mr. Toriyama.

I finished this Hazel painting I started a few years ago. There was a sale on wooden stuff on Vograce, so I had to finish this in a frenzy, and it did end up kinda rushed in the end. I might fine-tune and clean this up later before I restock charms. That is. If they sell out `:D

But yeah Hazel-rah is gonna be in a bucnch of wooden charms in the future ^^ ✧˖°

Fun summer nights themed outfit, featuring an adorable yukata with patterns reminding us of lively matsuri festivals (such as fuurin/windchimes, hanabi/fireworks, katori buta/pig with katorisenko/mosquito rolls, dendedaiko/rattle drum, kitsune men/fox mask). The matching obi has cute kani/crabs, naruto/whirlpools and tsuyushiba/dewy grass.
