Nancy had mostly stopped the habit of her chronic journaling after the Fall when she stopped wanting to remember the days as they passed. She’d been embarrassed to admit that the only things written on the pages since the end of March all had something to do with Robin in some way. Finding the first empty page, she wrote the date and then drew a large heart right in the middle with NW + RB scrolled in cursive inside.

“It’s perfect. Absolutely revolting in its sweetness. I love it. I’ll add a matching one to my shoe,” Robin said as Nancy finished it off with an arrow.

Also headcanon Jonathan had a big interest in wolves around the same time so both Will and Jonathan were begging Joyce to get a dog for them lol.

MiWi AU, where both Karen and Joyce are divorced, Joyce and her boys recently moved into the flat across from where Karen, Nancy, Mike and Holly live. Karen baked some goodies for their new neighbours as a sweet welcome - and in hopes that maybe Mike becomes friends with the youngest Byers. Lo and behold, only a few days later Will knocks on her door and asks if she could show him how she made her cookies - his mum's birthday is the day after and she enjoyed her welcome gift so much!

You better believe that Mike joined them very quickly, and the young boys have the time of their life, all while Karen is watching them.

just an idea for the future of the AU, but like, what if Karen Wheeler and Susan Hargrove/Mayfield end up together? Like can you imagine how big of a change that'd be for Max and Mike? I'd love to explore the dynamic with them as step siblings, I think I'd be a bit like Dawn and Mary-Anne from the babysitters club. Also the whole dynamic would just be so interesting I think. This would be in, like the really distant future, but I want the readers opinions first before I plan anything.

I was going for an 80s family photo sort of look and for a little bit of lore for this au I guess, the reason why Mrs Wheeler is so happy is because Mike usually tries to cover up his birthmark with make up or his long hair but for some reason this year he wants to show it off 🤔🫡
