I LOVE penelope’s epilogue dress, it’s not my favorite in terms of my personal taste but it being her personal style with the cut and shape while being green and made of a more featherington style fabric is such a nice touch and the way they showed how the featherington-bridgerton family has merged in that scene was so well done. and I love that she’s made peace with her family and is able to be around them and dress a little like them but she’s drawing a line at putting her son in said fashions lol

Maybe cherry coke… but like, dark soda isn’t a vibe for me bc I’ll feel like I’m dying. Root beer is great. Sprite is great. Love the cranberry ginger ale that they have around the holidays.

Hi :) I can't pick just one :( so here are a few:

Cats <333 I've grown up always having 4-5 cats & still have 4 now, but one is like fully mine :) I have all the responsibility of taking care of her and everything and she's the sweetest cat ever? I don't think I've ever met a more cuddly, friendly cat <333

Snails <3333 I've been obsessed with them basically my whole life :) I think the first picture i have of myself with snails was when I was five? so thats a full 11 years ago :)) I used to keep a bunch in far too small jars before I realised that was bad for them at like 9 & I hope to keep snails again (& treat them well) at some point :) also as you can see in the picture, I had been obsessed with snails for a while already, I used to bring them home in my lunchbox after school

Any bug :) beetles, (snails,) flies, spiders, anything :) I've always vaguely liked bugs, but they're a full special interest now :) I particularly like jumping spiders though :) and millipedes, and ladybugs,... (I think I could just list every bug i know of tbh, so I'm gonna stop)

Yukinko: We will find out once they're old enough to feel one way or another about it. They just turned one last week, and was bestowed a name by the elders. So perhaps in fourteen to fifteen years, at the earliest.

Alisaie: Are they blond..........?

Yukinko: (loud sighing) Yes. They are blond. But they have my eyes. Not that who their other father is matters. I carried that one in my body for ten moons; they are mine.

Ameliance: While adventuring??

Yukinko: No, of course not.

Ameliance: Oh, good, good. Say, would you be amenable to some gifts we can send along with you for the little one? Ooh, I wish I had known sooner -- no blame on you, of course. This was a private matter. But let me see what I can prepare.

Alisaie: You're leaving... We're leaving for Tural! For a long time, too. Is that alright?

Yukinko: Why not? Vieras of our tribe are raised without their fathers. Even if I carried this one, my identity is the same in the eyes of our elders. I wouldn't be permitted to remain in the village for long, even if I stayed.

Alphinaud: Then you aren't allowed to see them? :(

Yukinko: I have permission to visit whenever, just not to overstay. When I returned, I did so with gifts and knowledge, so the elders grudgingly allowed me to come back. Otherwise, my exile would have been permanent. But it doesn't matter. If I want to see the child, I will find my way to them.

Alisaie: So we should pack you more gifts, to remind your elders that you're a big deal in Eorzea and have access to even more wonderful things.

Ameliance: Ooh, that sounds fantastic!

Alphinaud: What is their name?

Yukinko: We don't use our mountain or clan names outside of our homeland, but for us... let us call them Avi.

there was a lot more nudity in Blue Eye Samurai than i expected. but also, Mizu looks scary as hell during the fights, a literal demon, I love that. the blood splatters were also kind of beautiful? anyway, 9/10 show.

my grandparents' relationship is really weird because they clearly do love each other and they evenly split household chores and they both worked (my grandmother studied programming at university and worked as an accountant or something similar, my grandfather worked and still works as a mechanic). but it's also like, sometimes there is clearly a certain level of resentment from my grandmother (even though she was the one who wanted to get married and was proactive at getting him to be with her. according to my mom she forced him to get married but that is somewhat questionable to me bc my mom has a tendency to exaggerate. there was an incident that made grandma very resentful of him) that she takes out by being controlling and micromanaging and hypercritical of literally anything my grandfather does. but if you try to point it out he defends her no matter what basically. they've been married for like 45 years though and it's a lot better than the standards of back then

Probably an angsty idea: Gold accidentally calls/used to call the councilwoman "mother" once in a while during her classes.

Oh my GOD, yes. I think especially when she was younger such a mistake would not be an uncommon slip-of-the-tongue for Gold, though it always terrified her just how... unresponsive the Councilwoman was to that. I think the Councilwoman sometimes told her to not say such things, but in that kind of tone that always gave Gold the feeling there was something wrong, despite how it sounded almost identical to the Council's normal distant way of speaking. But prodding about such things leads to a heavy punishment in Onyx City, so Gold knew better than to dig deeper. Even if she never could entirely make herself lose the hope that maybe, just maybe, one day they could actually talk about it in full...

(The Council are well-worked-out OCs of mine, so yes, the Councilwoman actually used to be quite a caring person, if a bit awkward at being motherly because of her young age. And in a situation wherein she had not been part of the Council and not lived in a world as oppressive as Onyx City, she would have taken Gold under her wing with no hesitation. That nature remains seen in the smallest traces of her behaviours towards Gold, but since Gold has never met her before, she has no idea. But you're on to something here :>)
