This was supposed to be a simple quick drawing of Hunter and Eberwolf next to each other with the same :3 face and then I got ambitious. Worth it.

Firstly, Eberwolf speaking in broken english is on purpose. Don't leave a comment about that I will point you to the description. This is a thingin my fics; I make Eberwolf (and all palismen) speak in broken English as an artistic choice.

Anyway, I gave Darius the classic queer hand (you know the one lol) and HOLY SHIT I got carried away with the comments on Hunter's post. I spent so much time positioning them it's not even funny.

Side note I got the idea about Kiki getting stuck in the toilet from Hazbin Hotel. I mean... Nifty and Kikimora are honsetly kinda similar lol.

Also changed Hunter's pfp to Flapjack because I feel like he'd change it from his old Golden Guard one.

Yknow a technique often used in redemptions I like is that they introduce the antagonist who will be redeemed - and then they introduce and EVEN WORSE antagonist, someone even more ruthless, threatening, and most important of all more annoying. It actually forces us to root for the antagonist who will be redeemed even before they actually have a redemption, because now they and the hero(es) are working towards the same goal - directly together, like Luz and Hunter from the Owl House, or indirectly, with the same goal of stopping the worse villains goal, like the Gaang and Zuko in S1 of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s smart because it gets us to root for someone we might previously not have sympathized with much - ESPECIALLY in the case of Hunter, as we get introduced to him as a petty little shit who threatens to throw Eda and Luz into a boiling sea - setting us up to root for their redemption further down the line.

Right. I'm having a mental breakdown after watching the Season 2 finale to The Owl House but you know what I'm just going to ignore everything else and enjoy how Kiki (and Terra and Adrian but ESPECIALLY kiki) were completely fucked over in this episode! Something quite curious and that goes very unnoticed is the fact that Kikimora manipulated Boscha because in some way she is reflected in her but by doing that, Kikimora makes Boscha become more toxic, she is hurting Boscha, and therefore, she is hurting the younger version of herself.

It's no coincidence that Kikimora manipulates Boscha because in a certain sense Kikimora IS Boscha: both are terrified that others see them vulnerable and they end up mistreating others as a way to hide their vulnerability so as not to be hurt by anyone and both also have the tendency to idealize to the extreme a person they love, admire or respect (Belos for Kikimora and Amity for Boscha) but they get angry with them for not fitting in with the idealized versions they had and even when they see them again before getting angry with them for not being what they thought, Kikimora and Boscha ask Belos and Amity to give them a chance to prove themselves. The difference is that Boscha realizes her flaws and tries to improve as a person while Kikimora becomes more toxic to the point that she hurts others without realizing that she is hurting herself and isolating herself from any positive relationship with others.

Kikimora is what Boscha would have been if she didn't realize her tendency to hide her vulnerability through mistreatment of others and her tendency to idealize others are quite toxic to herself and others.
