JULY 12, 2018 / a big life update!!!!! i’ve started my new program in graphic design and i’m thoroughly enjoying myself - feels like (a really hectic, fast-paced) art camp!! here are some snippets made for my Drawing class. these are my pointilism & handlettering assignments :~)

did absolutely nothing yesterday so sitting down at a cafe today to try and hammer out an 8 page rough draft research paper that is due in a couple of days. procrastination got me hard on this one, but i’m determined to bounce back and work harder than ever! thanks to @emmastudies for the cute desktop wallpaper :)

Hey there! My name’s Arina and this is my new studyblr!

I’m still rather new to all this and Tumblr itself, so I’d be ever so grateful that someone would help me or be my friend >.<

So until this year, my favorite subject was English! (Cause we have electives this year) and now it’s English AND psychology (:

But I’m a failure at math, Chinese and ICT

hey!! i’m so sorry i didn’t answer this, i’ve basically been completely awol and running on queue for the past few months. also i’m on mobile rn so i have no idea how long ago this was aaaa srry firstly, thankyou so much for your kind words it means a lot 💞💞💞(i just popped u a follow ur content is real cute)secondly, re:tips for new studyblrs, this might be obvious but the only way to get noticed is to regularly post your own content! what i would REALLY stress is focus on posting whether or not it adheres to the aesthetic “standards” of really popular posts - even if u don’t have great lighting, neat handwriting, fancy supplies etcetc, just post what u wanna post, tag the tracking tags of studyblrs (for example, i track #asteroidstudy and although i’ve been neglecting it lately i will reblog everything posted to that tag). try out studyblr challenges too - i can’t link bc i’m on mobile but search for them on people’s blogs and find some that sound fun/manageable! it’ll give you inspiration for what to post which i find rlly helpful. i didn’t go far back enough in ur blog to see whether u did one already but i would also recommend an intro post - some facts about yourself, what you’re studying, what your interests are, and then tag your favourite studyblrs! this is a nice way for people in the community to get to know u (and it can also get ur blog more attention if the studyblrs u tagged reblog ur post ;^) )basically have fun, interact with people wherever u can - replies to posts, asks and messages will be so appreciated by anyone !!!! and don’t worry about aesthetics (although it can be rlly fun making aesthetic posts ahaha), the most important thing is that you’re actually studying and enjoying sharing your work! again, sorry for the late reply n i hope this helps xxxx

aw thanks love :’) your theme is so cute too omg I love Totoro!! maybe post more original or personal posts? I always find stubyblrs a bit repetitive in terms of reblogs so I tend to be more engaged/interested in studyblogs that also have personal posts so I can get to know the blogger a bit more :) good luck!
