In IDW1, the only reason Megatron even started a war was because Whirl nearly beat him to death. Megatron probably has a higher kill count but by proxy you could attribute those kills to Whirl's poor jail conduct. ALSO, after the war Megatron massively chilled out and is one of the more normal people on the Lost Light. Whirl, on the other hand, kept up his really brutal streak. Shout out to Nautilator, the guy that surrendered who Whirl still blew-up because Whirl couldn't do a good-enough Optimus Prime impression (Nautilator's voice sounded like Megatron and Whirl wanted to recreate a battle between Optimus and Megs).

Looking through the propaganda today and sorting 'em together and there is!! So much!!

As of making this I'm at 28 out of 58 submissions I'm copying the propaganda out and it feel like I've been here for h o u r s. (Has been maybe 1) I love seeing how excited so many of you are for your favorite cyborgs though :D

I'll definitely be doing preliminary for the Mechanisms to give everyone else a fair chance around here, but besides that we should be able to start up over here sometime shortly after the losers poll starts over on @killerrobot-killingmatch.

I'm already getting an idea of who will be going against who, though nothing concrete until I've read on everyone of course.

I just have to finish this, save the photos given and find any that weren't provided, and set up the first bracket and polls :D Lots of work still but the progress is coming along really nicely.

Wanna find out who the #1 character of 1's and 0's is? That's what we're gonna find out. Welcome to the Virtual Character Tournament!

The classification can be a bit vague, so let's get into the rules and definitions.

A virtual character is described as a character existing in a digital space (classified by the narrative as such) who primarily operates within said space.

They can have a physical form in some capacity, but it cannot take precedence over their virtual form. (If they do not have a singular physical form and are known to body-hop, that's fine.)

A franchise can have up to 3 representatives.

No OCs. Sorry.

Be respectful of other people. The characters are fictional, but the people rooting for them are not.

No n*zis, t*rfs, tr*nsphobes, or any other related bigots. Not even as an easy springboard for another character to win.

I say virtual characters due to stipulation against AI. AI could work, but in this case, I mean fictional AIs that exist for all kinds of narrative purposes, and not current modern AIs, which exist to let techbros steal from people and cross moral boundaries.

I guess while I'm on that, let's talk about franchises or properties that are excluded from the running.

SCP Tournament… 2!

Accepting submissions immediately:

Now that things have calmed down (both in blog and life), I think it's time for the foundation to run the second tournament. We ran out of numbers to crunch and organize, so now the foundation has come back to organize more chaos to later fix.

As voted on by test subjects the people, this bracket with be the same set up as the previous, with the exception to not allow any contestants that made it above round 2. A full list of banned contestants can be found below the read more. There are no other limitations, so normal SCPs, tales, and stories from international brackets are all allowed. Go wild. Find the most obscure stories to share. Find the most controversial. The most confusing narrative. The more the merrier.

Submission period will be open for approximately 2 weeks and a day, ending on the 18th. This date may change depending on the rate of submissions. Assuming all goes smoothly, round 1 (or qualifiers) will begin on the 22nd.

Let the chaos begin again.
