Future Sims/KH Series

I am continuing Hikari University, I swear! I’m just not sure what to do or where to go with it now but I do intend to continue it at some point. In the mean time I want to finish up Charmed Hearts and I would like to do some of my other favorite tv shows. I think after Charmed Hearts, I wanna do a Lucifer series which will be titled “Sora: King of Hell”. So as you can guess, Sora will be cast as Lucifer (I know they’re NOTHING alike but I am a huge Deckerstar shipper and I love Chloe and Lucifer’s love story so I have to do Sora and Kairi as Lucifer and Chloe!) The KH characters aren’t necessarily taking the actual role of the character anyway, they’re more being placed in that character’s position. Anyway, here’s the few shows I decided to do and the cast lists for them. If there is a ✅ then it’s set. If there is a ❓, then it might change. Any shows where parents are present, they will stay the same considering all the main KH characters are around the same age, same with any kids. Also if some of the main KH characters are missing, I’m just not sure where to put them yet.

Thanks for the tag @thisonesatellite! This list is not fully accurate, but I have already spent far too much time working on it and thus I MUST MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE.

1. First Ship - Shawn and Angela - Boy Meets World (TV)

Cory and Topanga, who? (tbh, I was rooting for Topanga to pick that guy who worked in the art gallery and talked to her about “Starry Night”) I was 12/13 years old the year of this season and it started a trend wherein I often prefer the side ship from the shiny main ship. 

2. First OTP - Sydney and Vaughn - Alias (TV)

First OTP and also the first OTP that I got to the point where I disliked both people so much I was like “whatevvveeeerrrr be together or not but just stop making me think about it!” Still, s1 and s2 of Sydney x Vaughn is a thing to behold. 

3. Current Fave Ship - Logan and Veronica - Veronica Mars (TV and movie)

Listen, Linda. If one has not watched s4 then s4 does not exist. These two are just a friends to enemies to friends to lovers dream and I can’t quit them no matter how much I might want to. 

4. Your Ship Since the First Minute - Ben and Leslie - Parks and Recreation (TV)

I might have been spoiled? But I knew so little about this show that I had zero context for any gif sets that I saw. From moment one, with Leslie’s scrunched up angry face, and Ben’s exasperated by the books-ness, I liked them immensely. 

5. You Wished They Had Been Endgame - Jane and Michael - Jane the Virgin (TV)

I pretty much stopped watching the show after Michael left the series (made it a few eps into s4) and considered watching again once they brought him back, but then I found out WHY they brought him back, so...yeah. Jane x Michael 5EVER! Also this show ended 1 1/2 years ago so am going to say this isn’t a spoiler. 

6. You Wished They Had Been Canon - Ruby and Mulan - Once Upon a Time (TV)

(Couldn’t find a gif of them that Tumblr would allow me to upload.) Man, it really seemed like it was going this way. Le sigh. 

7. Most of the Fandom Hates, But You Love - Dan and Blair - Gossip Girl (TV)

I’m not sure if “most” of the fandom hates this or not? I’ve carved out a dedicated little group of tumblr peeps that feel the same way I do and one of my Dan x Blair fics is by far my most popular fics on AO3, so maybe I’m completely wrong? I’m mostly basing this on the fact that this ship was not endgame and that they were viewed by many as simply being a distracto-ship as the creators waited to get the endgame couples together. For some of us, though...they were a revelation. 

8. You Don’t Didn’t Even Watch the Show, But You Ship Them - Emma x Killian - Once Upon a Time (TV)

So, I’ve watched it now of course (through s4 at least, and then doing my clip thing the rest of the way) but I started shipping them because of gifs on tumblr. And then at first I didn’t like them when I watched it, lol. But, they won me over. Pretty people making out? Gosh, I’m shallow. 

9. You Wish They Had a Different Storyline - Eleanor x Chidi - The Good Place (TV)

I like Eleanor. I like Chidi. That little montage of them falling in love over and over is so cute. BUT! I fundamentally LIVE FOR that single moment in a ship when each person realizes they are in love with the other person. It’s my favorite thing to see that look on their faces as they are just WRECKED by their acknowledgment of their love. With Eleanor and Chidi, neither character really realized they were in love with the other person - they were told by third parties they were in love with the other person. And one of those people was a literal demon so I thought it was simply an act of manipulation. There are many many many things I like about them, but this ship was one of a lot of tell and not a lot of show for me, so I found myself wanting even as I rooted for them. 

10. Fave Ship That is Endgame - Nick and Jess - New Girl (TV)

So many TV SHIPS! (All TV ships, lbr.) These two just never get old for me. S1 and s2 Nick and Jess are so perfect it is upsetting. I have my issues with the rest of the series, but everytime I rewatch New Girl, I anticipate the moments and little touches and building affection between Nick and Jess in those first two seasons. This show for me works b/c of Nick and Jess, which makes them so special.

Killian nervously fiddled with his bag strap as he stole through the darkened streets of Iron Hollow. It was as confusing as Saint’s Shoal, and he couldn’t help but suspect he’d taken a wrong turn somewhere. The streets at night all looked the same. At least he’d gotten all the necessary supplies before getting lost.

He kept his head down as he passed a shadowy alley between two buildings.

“Hey you.”

Killian stiffened but kept walking, thinking of potential excuses for why he was out so late. He wished Jas was there.

“I’m talking to you!” Someone grabbed his shoulder and roughly turned him around.

“Look,” Killian stammered, “I’m not looking for trouble, but my sister’s sick—”

The person who’d grabbed him, a man a little older than Killian, barked a harsh laugh. “A likely story!” Light from the nearby streetlamp glinted off something in his other hand—a sharp, thin knife. “Everything in the bag, or I’ll cut it off your corpse.”

Two others emerged from the alley. Killian’s eyes darted between his three assailants. They all wore dark clothing—stained leather, maybe?—one had an unstrung bow strapped to his back, and all had swords. He recalled Diana saying something about how rare and expensive black leather was on this side of Atai, something about the dye?

“You’re not from around here, are you?” he asked softly, heart hammering in his ears.

The pair behind the man glanced at each other, but the man who’d grabbed Killian shrugged. “So what if we are? Don’t make me repeat myself.”

Killian forced a smirk. “You’re in a dreamshaper-controlled city, gentlemen.” With those hopefully ominous words, his knees buckled, and he went limp, collapsing to the ground. His head slammed into the hard stone, pain shooting through his skull, but he managed to keep himself from crying out.

Above, all three attackers cursed and fled, the sound of their retreat fading into the night. Killian slowly pushed himself to a sitting position and touched his hand to the side of his head. No blood, but a hard lump was already forming. He gritted his teeth, head throbbing with every heartbeat.

He could already hear Diana scolding him for doing something so reckless. But it worked, didn’t it? Jas would argue, it’s what I would do.

Leaning heavily against the nearest wall, Killian forced himself to his feet and began walking again. Hopefully, he wouldn’t encounter any actual dreamshapers before he found his way out of Iron Hollow. The last thing any of them needed was another kidnapping.

What made you start writing fanfic?

About 10 years ago I found myself obsessed with Glee. During season 2, I got really pissed with the storyline as Finn dumped Rachel and started seeing Quinn again. I was so incensed that I learned what a "fix it" fic truly was. I needed to calm my anger toward what was happening on screen and I began writing what I wanted to see happen instead. I never realized how cathartic that could be! After that it became a passion of mine to create these new worlds outside the show. After I stopped watching Glee and Cory died I thought I was done with that, until 2020 and this damn pandemic and I found myself getting pulled in again to Captain Swan...I became inspired once more.

2. Which of your own fanfics have you reread the most?

Hmm....this one is hard. I don't usually go back and read my fics. But, I think Wonderland just hit me different. It was my longest and I spent a lot of time reading it again and again to prepare for what would come next.

6. Name three stories you found easy to write.

Nowhere to run was a breeze for me, not sure why but I wrote it over a couple of days and I never once got blocked on where to go.

After that it was the one shot for A Story in the Life of Killian Jones and Emma Swan. I wrote the equivalent of 5 chapters in 2 days and it just poured out of me.

I guess next would be Wonderland, it was the longest one I wrote and I never ran out of inspiration for that story. Or maybe Love Cruise because I think I excel at comedy.

7. Name three stories you found difficult to write.

Definitely Love, War, and Books. I sure found that I was not good at writing a story based on another movie. It was so hard to feel creative when trying to give the original the love I felt it deserved. This one counts as TWO because it caused me so much major grief that I almost scrapped it all together.

I also had some major writers block with Mystery of Pixie Hollow, not that I didn't love writing it, but I was going thru some depression and difficulties at work so it seemed to cause me some grief because I found myself uninterested in writing.
