The Magic of K Drama that Brought Me Here Again

2020 was pivotal for me. It was the year where i feel again. After a long time kind of feel a bit numb and disconnected from the world from my self.

I was having such a huge character development since the worst year of 2017. Since then i was never really interested, invested or attached to anything. Even to movies or books which usually was my favorite. There was never a single art (beside music) that touch me deeply again until 2020 where i found chocolate and the king eternal monarch. And it somehow changes me to be a different person.

Also to commemorate both 1 year anniversary, i want to convey some words about these beautiful story

1. Chocolate

The story revolves around doctors and chef. The story pretty deep because it deals with pain, revenge, story of unfortunate events but at the end it was a life lesson about accepting, letting go, stoicism and memento mori. Its a healing story. The story telling method used here was superb, we came across many characters in a hospice and each of them teach us something about life. And every story involved a signature dish which is very clever. You will be touched by it completely. All the characters were breathing. They made all of them strong and memorable. This type of story set a standard very high for me now and i wont settle for less.

You can see, I was captivated by it since episode 1 especially this scene

Maybe i need to be reminded about feeling. As much as i feel disconnected i forgot how to feel and become a bit, cold. But this story was reminding me again of it and i am totally a different person after. Also 2020 have been another worst year for me, this story was rather relate to my reality more in terms of memento mori. Stoicism. Beautiful. Should give more credits to Lee Kyoung Hee for it

Also the scoring was one of the most beautiful sound i have ever heard and in line with the story

2. The King Eternal Monarch

The stories about parallel universe which surprisingly later on involved also time travel. The storyline very intriguing since the beginning im hooked even since the first 15 minutes. This is not your typical love stories of boy meets girl and then getting together. This involves many layer and forms of love. It was telling you about makes things right and be responsible above all and not to be selfish. Story about dont fight fate and just follow your destiny. Because if you just give your best to it, you will get help and eventually got the happy ending that you deserve. It also teaches you about accepting your fate, try your best to make things happen and fulfill your promises. Not a single toxic in the relationship, straightforward character, which is very rare in K drama. Overall the message also subtly touches about stoicism. And that is huge development in a story of k drama because finally they can make a story where the character is multi-dimensional, there is development by cause and effect, and the message delivers well by amazing script, marvelous acting also great cinematography . Standing ovation for all of them involved in the making.

Also they have the coolest original scoring, especially the instrument. Truly delivered

2020 was bearable thanks to them. Or shall i say “Thank to them, i saw something beautiful”

Happy 1st anniversary for both underrated and over hated drama. Hope someday people can see the beauty in you too for you are ahead of time, hope you can get the appreciation you deserve too. Someday. Soon. Maybe.

what jun yeol's movies are worth watching?

I've yet to watch all his movies since I still haven't seen the king and a few older ones so from what I've seen I would say:

- socialphobia: it's where I discovered him and his character is unique to the others he's played also byun yohan is in this so it's perfectly curated for me (it has some dark themes so I would check the synopsis first)

- little forest: kim taeri cooking pretty meals and walking through the forest through crisp leaves ugh it's so beautiful. oh and junyeol plays with this puppy which was cute

- one way trip: actually can't remember much from this one BUT I think it was good and it was pretty hectic then again it is a mystery thriller friendship movie.

- taxi driver: one of my favourites by far it got me to read a lot on the gwangju uprising (I bought the book 'human acts' and read like third before I lost it at uni ;;) and was solid on the acting since there's song kangho of course also it was very emotional

- canola: again I can't remember exact details but it was quite sad yet also heartwarming and I remember enjoying it.

- believer: a bit hesitant on this one since it's actually not that great of a movie personally but the chemistry with jo jinwoong was fab

- money: likewise it's not that interesting but the way he portrays his character was amazing like he did a complete 180 which was very impressive

Im Nayeon (임나연)

Nayeon was born on September 22, 1995. She’s the eldest member but we often call her the “madnae” (which is a mix (in Korean) of eldest & maknae) since her personnality looks like a maknae. She’s the lead vocalist, face of the group (*1), center (even tho Tzuyu is the one for her). She’s Korean. She loves Oh My Girl as hell (& so many other gg). She likes babies & kissing the member (trust me). Sometimes she loses balance because of her left leg (she hurt it bc of a car accident when she was younger). She has a lot of aegyo (but Jeongyeon just hates it 😂). You can easily recognize her thanks to her bunny teeth! 

Yoo Jeongyeon (유정연)

Jeongyeon was born on November 1, 1996. She’s a lead vocalist too. She has a famous sister who is Gong Seungyeon. She’s the girl crush of the group and thinks that’s because of her short hair (You’ll often hear Nayeon say that she’s really feminine tho). She’s good at cleaning, and members see her as a mom. She’s also called “no jam bros” with Chaeyoung bc, according to the members, they aren’t funny, I mean they are but they have jokes which make only them laugh. She’s a crybaby ♥. She’s also Korean. Idk which advice I should give you to recognize her so maybe the short hair ?

Hirai Momo (平井 もも or 모모 in Hangul)

Momo was born on November 9, 1996. She’s a dancing machine, that’s why we call her “dancing momochine”, sub vocalist and rapper. She didn’t know what was her blood type until the show called “TWICE’s Elegant Private Life” (EPL), it’s A. She’s sexy, like really. Whatever the song is, she got the sexy vibe. But she’s also super cute. Her love for food is incredibly deep, especially for jokbal. Her motto is “If you work hard, you can eat delicious food” and she doesn’t like water. Momo means Peach. She likes Barbie a lot and her dogs too (who are Lucky, Petco, and Pudding). She’s a Japanase from Kyoto. To recognize her : her mouth & nose are unique~

Minatozaki Sana (湊崎 紗夏 or 사나 in Hangul)

Cutie-sexy Sana was born on December 29, 1996. Lead dancer & sub vocalist, ambassador of the iconic shy shy shy. She’s an only child who was casted during a shopping time with her friends (cf TWICE TV1). She’s known to be clumsy and a snake lol this is a jk. She likes collecting perfume and kissing/hugging everyone. Among the foreign members, Sana’s korean is the best. She’s a Japanese from Osaka. “No Sana No Life”, you can recognize her thanks to her perfect nose and eyes.

Park Jihyo(박지효)

Jihyo was born onFebruary 1, 1997. She’s the main vocalist, leader & the heart of Twice. She trained for 10 years, takes care of the members very well and she likes to go to karaoke (cf Twicetagram with Nayeon). Tzuyu is like her precious baby. She lost a lot of weight (pretty sure bc people body shamed her). She likes to watch drama & she do love Signal. She couldn’t help but smile during Cheer Up bc Jo Jinwoong followed the ‘Shy Shy Shy’ dance. She has a lot of aegyo (she’s actually an aegyo machine), she’s a crybaby too & her voice is very loud. She’s known as Thomas bc her eyes are big (and that’s how you recognize her). She’s Korean.

Myoui Mina (名井 南 or 미나 in Hangul)

Mina was born on March 24, 1997. She’s a vocalist & dancer. Her nickname is “Penguin”. She likes ketchup a lot. Wherever there’s ketchup, there’s also Mina. She did ballet during 11 years and stopped everything just to be an idol. By the way, she likes a lot of group like CN BLUE. She had the shortest training period (1 year something like that) and she’s the definition of elegance. She can be sexy and cute af at the same time and we still don’t know how. Whenever she’s is stressed, she’ll end up crying. Her voice isn’t loud. She was born in Texas so you’ll probably see people calling her “Sharon”. She’s a Japanese from Kobe. To recognize her : her lips and moles!

Kim Da Hyun (김다현)

Dahyun was born on May 28, 1998. Lead rapper and sub vocalist. Her nickname is “Tofu” bc of her white skin. She was very popular due to her Eagle dance video. No chocolate no Dahyun, she’s extra, she’s like the mood maker (with Sana) of the group. Wherever the camera is, Dahyun will find it. She likes the digit “7″. She was invited to a lot of program, like Weekly Idol. She’s short & participed to the creation of some of their choreo. She’s Korean. To recognize her : her white skin.

Son Chae Young (손채영)

Chaeyoung, known as Chaeng Chaeng Chaeng, was born onApril 23, 1999. She’s the main rapper (& sub vocalist). She is the shortest member of Twice & the other “no jam bros”. She really loves to draw, she can sing, dance & rap (like a Queen). She writes lyrics (the rap part of Precious Love was written by her). She wrote Eyes Eyes Eyes with Jihyo. She’s very close to Somi. She’s Korean too. To recognize her : idk, when you see her, you know she’s Chaeng, maybe her straight nose & beautiful lips? and moles~

Chou Tzuyu (周子瑜 or 쯔위 in Hangul)

Tzuyu was born onJune 14, 1999. Vocalist, visual & our precious maknae. She’s the tallest & youngest member. Her nickname is “Yoda”. She’s often known for her pretty face but she wants her singing skill to be recognized too (cf TWICE TV1). She do love her dog, Gucci, and also Go Minjoong. Her way of talking is cute + she can’t really lie. You’ll probably end up wanting to protect her at all costs. She’s Taiwanese. To recognize her : her smile & tanned skin ?

日時: 2020年3月27日(金) 13:00-17:00

開催校より、政府からの要請及び文部科学省からの諸通達に基づき、感染拡大防止の観点から、3月31日（火）までは原則学内イベント等は中止とする旨の通達があり、またJSSA運営員会としましても昨今の社会情勢から、3/27（金）の研究会はオンラインで開催することにしました。 オンライン開催は、プログラムの時間通りに行われます。 オンライン開催は双方向性があるシステムを用いるため、質問等も通常通りしていただけます。 また、発表動画を普段の研究会の通りにYouTubeにアップロードし、当該時間に参加・聴講いただけない方でも、発表の様子をご覧になれます。 発表者、聴講者の参加マニュアルは、後ほど公開いたします。 現状では、国内のオンライン研究会開催に実績のあるzoomを用いる予定です。

聴講者マニュアル

ハウリングを防止するため，ヘッドフォン+マイクのヘッドセット，ヘッドフォン＋マイク，テレビ会議用のマイクスピーカ一体型のいずれかを用意して，接続し，入出力のサウンドテストをしておく．

運営から送られてきた会議室のzoomのURLをWebブラウザに入れると（予めクライアントがインストールされていなければ，ダウンロードされるので実行するとインストールされる，クライアントが入っていたらリダイレクトされる）会議室に入ることができる．名前を決定する．聴講者は「姓名_所属」というフォーマットにしておくこと．（座長が発表者が参加しているかを確認するため）

全画面モードになっていると参加者やチャットが見えなくなることがあるようなので，「全画面を終了」しておいた方が良い．（macOS版は，画面共有されるたびに全画面化されてしまうようなので，手動で戻す）

ウィンドウ下にカーソルを持っていくと現れるメニューの「参加者」を押して，参加者一覧を表示しておくと，誰がミュートで誰が画面共有しているのかわかりやすい．

同じく下のメニューの「チャット」を押して，チャットウィンドウも表示しておく．発表者は「ミュート」状態（マイクアイコン「ミュート解除」という表示にに赤斜線が入っている状態），ビデオを使わない状態（ビデオカメラアイコン「ビデオの開始」という表示に赤斜線が入っている状態）にしておく． 聴講者は「ミュート」状態（マイクアイコン「ミュート解除」という表示にに赤斜線が入っている状態），ビデオを使わない状態（ビデオカメラアイコン「ビデオの開始」という表示に赤斜線が入っている状態）にしておく．

発表を聞きながら，質問があればチャットに「質問があります」と書き込んでおく．

自分の質問が座長から促されたら，マイクアイコンのミュートを解除して，帯域に余裕があればビデオを開始して，質問する．質問の時には所属及び名前を最初に言ってから始める．

座長の「他に質問がありませんか？」の発言があった時には，ミュートを解除し（帯域に余裕があればビデオを開始して，所属及び名前を最初に言ってから，質問をする．

概要：本発表は、長調と短調における印象の違いを脳波測定によって考察し、さらにはその脳波データの可聴化の試みについて述べる。先ず、長短の印象の違いを明確にするために、Cを基準とした各音階との二声和音における印象度のアンケートを実施した。次に、長調から短調、短調から長調に転調する楽曲ドヴォルザーク《ユーモレスク》(op.101 No.7)を対象にし、これを聴いた時の脳波変動を計測した。この曲は、G♭キーで展開部分は短調(G♭m)に転調し、「絶望的」とも言える程寂しく変化する。計測した脳波データを可聴化する試みとして、MIDIデータ化による4 チャンネル・オーディオの音場コントロール、および、そのデータを長調・短調に変化させるアルゴリズムによって楽曲生成を行った。

[研究報告]折り紙の音楽化表現の探求と実践

研究報告

概要：本研究では、独自の幾何学や造形手法によって作られた折り紙作品を音楽に変換する方法を模索する。その目的は従来の形式の音楽では得られないような斬新な表現を得ること、及び、異ジャンル複合型の新しい形態を持つ演奏会の可能性を提案することにある。まず、折り紙と音楽における数的パラメータや、作品生成のための即興的な処理同士を対応付けることで、折り紙を音楽へと変換するOtoM(Origami to Music)変換法を構築し、その実践と考察から、変換における問題点や利点について考察した。また変換をわかりやすく聴衆に伝える方法についても、アニメーションによるデモと、変換用に作成した電子楽器(GME)の実演という2通りの表現手法を実践し、それぞれに対する意見聴取を行った。

[研究報告]建築空間と音楽に共通の体験構造に基づくクロスモーダル表現の創出

研究報告

概要：“Architecture Dreams Music”（建築が夢見る音楽）プロジェクトでは、形態の異なる表現に共通する体験構造を探ることが各表現の特質やクロスモーダルな諸現象の理解に資するという考えのもと、建築空間と音楽の両表現の認知とそこに内在する体験の深層構造の関係性について長年にわたり問い続けてきた。本研究は、建築空間と音楽の体験構造を記述、変形しながら対応付けていくというアプローチを採ることにより、両表現体験の経験や意味のレベルまで含めた多層の関係性が反映されたクロスモーダル表現の創出を目的とする。

表現の創出を実現するにあたっては、建築空間の画像と音楽の演奏データを同時に自動生成できる創作環境の構築が課題であった。さらにその要件として、表現そのものの表層的な性質のみならず体験の構造を記号的に操作可能な形で表現できることや、両表現の対応付けの結果を素早く出力に反映しイテラティブに創作の試行が行えることが求められた。そこで建築の体験構造をもとに手続き的に空間構造を記述するビジュアルプログラミング環境を開発し、空間体験情報の解釈とマッピングによる音楽シーケンスの生成、さらに両者の結果を具現化するものとして画像と音楽をシーケンスの自動生成し再生するシステムの開発を行った。

このシステムを使い、実在する建築物を題材として、シーンごとの空間画像とそれに対応して生成された音楽を楽譜とともに同期して体験可能な作品を制作することができた。結果として、異なる分野を専門とする者が本システムを用いた���行によりそれぞれの知見をクロスモーダル表現として具現化し、共創を通じて互いの表現を客観的に再解釈する契機を作ることができた。

概要：サウンドドローイングプロジェクトとは空間風景（都市空間／生活空間／美的空間／文化的空間）などに身 体と音の”かたち”を通して参加者が入り込み、音と一体となった空間を体感するパフォーマンスアートである。 本研究報告ではこのプロジェクトのために東京藝術大学,ファクトリーラボとの共同で開発制作された、創作楽器とそれらを使ったパフォーマンスについて報告する。パフォーマンスにおいては旧来のパフォーマーとか鑑賞者のような内と外の区別はなく、パフォーマーは個から集団、そして環境空間へと意識を移動させながら音響体を手に風景の中に入り、おおきな音の”かたち”、空間楽器を形成し、空間風景に意識を重ね、人と場所、空間と世界との深いつながりを体感する。

概要：脳波による音楽において，事象関連電位（ERP）を用いた例は未だ多くない。その理由としては，パフォーマンス環境におけるERP計測の難しさ，つまりリアルタイム性の低さ，周辺雑音の影響，測定精度の不確かさが挙げられる。本研究では，パフォーマンスに適していると期待されるDIY用脳波計（Open BCI）とキャンドル型電極を用いて，通常の雑音がある環境におけるERPの精度，パフォーマンスに必要な測定時間を検討した。

概要：本発表では日本人女性電子音楽作曲家の包括的データベースを作成するプロジェクトにつ いての研究計画を説明する。 本研究のひとつの到達点は、EMSAN（Electroacoustic Music Stadies Asia Network）の電子音楽作品データベース化プロジェクトにデータを登録し、国際活用される仕組みをつくることである。EMSANはアジアの電子音楽に関する研究や作品を集めたポータルで、2020年1月22日現在までに研究論文 699件、音楽作品2426件のメタデータが登録されて いるが、特にアジアの女性作曲家のデータに関しては弱いのが現状である。 女性の電子音楽家の情報は近年明らかになりつつある。Andra McCartneyによる論文、How Women Composers of Electroacoustic Music Make Place For Their Voices(ヨーク大学、1997年)はカナダの女性電子音楽家の台頭と発展について詳細に考察されている。LIAO Lin-Niによる論文、Taiwanese Women Composers and Mixed-Music(EMSAN、2009年)は台湾というローカルな調査研究をEMSANというグローバルネットワークに発展させた例としても参照に値する。残念ながら日本の女性電子音楽作曲家の情報は統一されていない状況にある。「日本の電子音楽」(川崎弘二著、2006年）に記載されている1929年から2005年までの「日本の電子作品主要作品」全935作品のうち、女性作品は54作品（6％）で、残りの881作品（94％）は男性によるものだが、このような不均衡状態の客観がインクルーシブネスへの第一歩となり、日本における電子音楽の発展、特に女性作曲家の活躍支援になり得ると考える。本研究で国際データ上の弱点を補完することで、女性の電子音楽家を広く紹介することを目的とする。
