#kin update

Hey guys, i know havent posted in a while but thats just because life got in the way. Ive always wanted to make a pretty big update on how my past life as a mr mime was like, and im finally doing it. This update contains themes and mentions of violence, potential terrorism, murder, guns, childhood trauma, and childrens hospital like visuals. Anybody whos triggered by such things feel free to ignore this update.

Most of these kin momories are quite foggy, but i'll try my best

I was born around atleast 1984, i think so because things like care bears and rainbow brite remind me of my mr mime self. The first kin memory i've ever had was of me petting a lamb with my owner who was a sheperd, this kin memory learn that the canon i was from was reminisant of the pokemon anime, where real life animals live along side pokemon. I also learned that i live on a farm and that i was heavily attached to my owner.

The second memory i got to see was of me and my owner taking a walk in the winter, it isnt really that interesting but i still wanted to mention it.

The third one is the reason i had to put trigger warnings at the start. I recall me holding my trainer in my arms, him being dead with a bloody bullet wound eather in his chest and or forhead, and me looking up at three men dressed in all black holding long guns. I started to sprint away from them to a forest, and me thankfully being able to out run them, i think i tired them out. I was also atleast 12 years old in pokemon years.

The last one was of me being in a pokemon daycare place that looked like a childrens hospital, me watching CatDog on a TV.

Im so happy i finally got the chance to make this. You guys are the best ♡

school is starting for me tomorrow, so requests are gonna look pretty different compared to how it was during the summer.

requests will be open at 2pm (pacific time) and closed at 9pm (pacific time). they’ll be completed a bit slower too due to us having to do schoolwork and generally having less time available.

sorry for the changes, but it is what it is. also omg this year is gonna be our last year of grade school, holy crap 😨

At first i wasn't gonna post this because the shading overlay is super super weird and janky and bad, but then i realised life is short and i've posted MUCH worse art here.

In case you're wondering, here's what happened when i fell off!!

- got art block soooo bad. + a lot of self loathing about the quality of it.

- ap testing and finals AAAAAA. i basically had to finish and save any wips (of ANYTHING, not just art), and i had a &30 commission i had to draw up for a friend irl

- i had to turn in the device i primarily drew art on, since it belonged to the school

- realized the program i used on that device ALSO didn't run on my Mac

- had to wait to be able to buy a drawing tablet

- had to learn to use the drawing tablet, the computer for art, and a new drawing program, ✨ all at once ✨.

I'm slowly but surely getting there though. Some of my shading and color theory skills have gotten rusty, but by working on paper I've kept decently solid about other things, and even gotten better in a few areas. Hopefully you'll see more art from me soon!!!

absolutely devoured Thunder and Shadow in a reread and God they really could have made the first 3 AVoS books into a whole arc. SO much happens and theres such huge time skips - TaA skips the entire leafbare they'd been discussing and fearing- and the pacing is so janky. They skim over what could be really good moments. ShadowClan's illness. WindClan's paranoia. Going on massive quests every couple chapters. Even in Shattered Sky they bring back fucking SkyClan while RiverClan is being occupied, and then Darktail is defeated and we all kinda agree the arc goes to shit. Soooo much happens in 1-3 they just skip over!!!!
