overthinking

This one is kinda a continuation to the last one i made yesterday

Even since the beginning of there first encounter she had always tried to keep away from him because he was very intimidating but after finally bieng alone to talk to him that fateful day there relationship started to slowly develop from there but would revert back when his anger got the best of him towards her accidentally.

But on this particular day she was avoiding him for a week now and soon his rage would dwell into fear he thought he was going to lose her for good and choose to be with the others instead of him permanently.

He was in his working station in his room mot even able to concentrate as he fidgets around his pen while the other massages his temple his leg making the same movement as his working hand he was nervous more so that his beloved could possibly be thinking to leave him now because he went to far in his words.

He may be the embodiment of anger but still shares the same anxiety as hantengu just not to that extreme. Soon his chest almost felt tight and suddenly hes gulping down his weakness near the edge of wanting to have a paranoid breakdown never in his life has he felt such guilt for his actions not like this hes not used to this feeling at all and it only agitates him more that hes in this vulnerable state of despair and shame.

But then the door slides open he had forgotten to lock it. it was georgette, she had come to check up on him after never leaving his room all day today sne was worried for his well-being but before she could even say anything something was already wrong by the shaking body gesture and hands clutched onto his head "sekido!" She called.

Immideatly he jolted to her way. His eyes where wide in fear and it looked as if he was fighting back tears seeing the glisten of his eyes while sweating. His panick attack was about to hit full blown but her presence and look of genuine concern blocked it from happening.

"g-gerogie..." Just before she could move towards him with open arms sekido jumped out of his seat to hold her missing her warmth her gentlness her scent everything about this woman he missed it all. Wrapping his arms around her waist before he fell to his knees the wetness of her dress as he silently sobs of relief.

"sekido! Sekido! Hey whats wrong? My thunder storm why do you weep?" She kneels down letting him rest upon her lap as he lets it all out fingers caressing his soft auborn colored hair.

His words took time to put together, pulling together to stop from hyperventilating until finally words managed to escape his mouth.

" i-i-...im sorry! Ok there! Sorry! I know im not the kindest of person in the world infact i dont even deserve to be treated with such gesture! Y-you deserve better ok! Go with ai hes more empathetic o-or urogi! He can make you smile! Even stupid karaku would be better of with you! J-just...*fighting the urge not to cry again* anyone but me ok! I dont want to hurt you like that ever again I'm sorry georgie im so sorry!...."

She sat there and listened to his woes, she had no idea that he would have been affected by her absence, she only wanted to give him room to breath no matter how long it taked but that wasnt the case sekido missed her since day one of leaving him alone and now his guilt took a toll on him that she would leave him for somone else somone better and kinder. Yet little did sekido know he was kind a very different kind of kindness that was rare to see.

" my love, why do you say such nonsense? I already have the most kindest most understanding man right her on my lap." She moves her other hand to rub his shoulder.

" your motherly nature when you look out for your comrades is something i admire, perhaps strict but nonetheless its because you care for there safety"

" and dont think ive forgotten the time when you nurtured me during the time i came home with my face disfigured you still complimented me thoughtful after i was feeling low self esteem in that moment and to top it off you even came to my care when i was sick due to my ability even though you didnt have to. i think about it often "she chuckles placing a kiss on his forhead.

" you are loved sekido, and you are wanted. Nobody is perfect and thats ok...im not eather. No matter how rocky our relationship gets i want us to be able to solve it together because at the end of the day while i love the other three i want to be with *you* more than anyone sekido.."

He listened and the more he did the more he was gaining his composure again. He needed to hear that this was something hes been needing to hear for a long time now. Hes flawed and thats ok she is aswell. As his worries finally drift away sekido finally had the courage to slowly lift himself up to her nuzzling on the crook of her neck the same she did to him during that day of her mental breakdown.

"thank you, my rose..."

"i really needed to hear that..." He deeply sighed feeling true relaxation now.

" i think if you hadnt had come here any time i would have already bashed my head againts the wall along with the other idiots."

She only laughed

" where going to have to work on a different approach for a better anger management for example"

Hands him a rubber stress ball "tada!'

"....what the fuck is that?'" he looked at it with disgust the texture feeling wrong to him

" a stress management ball you can squeeze it throw it and smash it to let your anger all out see? Im good at this!"

He just stares at it and then clutches it with his fists then snorts.

" well this sure looks fun.."

this is what i mean by 'the clan au doesnt have a set story'. theres all these places that it can branch off of and the possibilities r endless and i have *counting* ..14 scenarios/storylines so far and every time i think of a new scenerio another gets added<3

i havent done much with the kny-canon leaning ones they're more just like if i did follow canon thats how it'd be done ykno? im thinking they get raided by the shinazugawas for control of the trade routes and either they both survive like that one post or only giyu survives, either way Sakonji takes in the living tomioka(s)

most of the stories arent tied down to canon theyre more whatever worldbuilding i have and stories pop up from them- one of the first ones was the shina-tomi failed peacetalks bc i wanted to draw sanemi & giyuu fighting (i just realized i placed the branches perfectly bc thats closer to canon than the others lol)

if the peacetalks worked(wouldve been later/after sanemi took over) then it kinda snowballed into a few nearby/allied clans forming a village, then from that theres the Tomi-Daki diplomat/trade envoy w the fox trio(giyu makomo & sabito)

the rescues are like. little to no formal interactions between any of the three clans(shina-kumeno is always allied), in the first one its winter and giyu's on his way home when he catches the trail of bloodline hunters and saves Genya & Masachika.

in the other one giyu's pinned by a rogue shinobi and sanemi & sabito both find him at the same time and they make a lil truce bc giyu has severe chakra exhastion and cant make it home

undercover mission has one thats purely sanegiyu; sanemi is disguised as Kazura & giyu as Gikuro and actually i looked back at my notes and this ones like. in the past before the village branch. so it connects to that one but it can also be a standalone. the other undercover mission is sabisanegiyu where sabito & giyuu went undercover as a master/servant thing and sanemi was disgusted by it and didnt know that it wasnt Real so he tried to 'save' giyuu and got invited to the polycule<3

the lil unnamed branches inbetween is that one where giyu got chased out the clan by tsutako for killing their mom, there was a spy who had taken her place and giyu noticed and killed the spy but tsutako only saw him killing their mom and she lost her shit in dispair & heartbreak. theres a branch for Giyu staying alone, Sabito ditching the urokodakis for his packmate while makomo stays behind to fix things with tsutako, and both Sabito & Makomo ditching the urokodakis for their packmate

the arranged marriages are sanegiyu with the first branch being after sanemi takes over and giyu asking for it ot of goodwill & he likes him(his pack gets to stay w him). other two Kyogo requested(demanded) it for trade routes, he doesnt allow the urokodakis to go with bc theyre Not Tomiokas and these routes more heavily portray the different biology of the southerners/mountain-pass(a/b/o)

ones angsty bc sanemi is like. CRUSHED that he cant find love on his own. his father takes literally everything away from him. while sanemi is kind & respects giyu he doesnt really care for him. and for giyu to go from a very close-knit family-oriented culture to the stone cold-cutthroat/conservative/severely traumatized/individualist culture of the shinazigawas with literally No One there for him he gets pretty fucked up w the emotional neglect

the other ones less angsty bc sanemi actually Tries in their relationship and finds that he actually enjoys giyu's company- and cuddles. the cuddles r fuckin great. but kyogo's still a cunt and a massive hindrance to emotional and mental healing of everyone around him. but sanemi's not alone now so its Better

Aoto is not an emotive person, and, despite his bluntness, a man of few words. Their face is completely neutral more often than not, and their voice flat and devoid of emotions. Not much is known of them by the Demon Slayer Corps, not even Kagaya himself could crack the young man's shell.

I usally don't give my kny ocs any ties to canon kny characters but for this one i decided to be la little Cringe™~ (/j) I decided to make Aoto Muzan's (non biological) son hehe :33 daddy issues + daddy with issues! They have a kinda complicated relationship where they don't really LOVE eachother, but Aoto sees Muzan as a father since he raised them. Muzan is very torn on how he views Aoto; on one hand they're a demon slayer, they're going against him by killing other demons, and they don't reveal anything about the corps, not to mention that they're human. But at the same time they don't talk about him to the corps, they're not aggressive towards Muzan, and they actively search for the blue spider lily.

When I came back from my break I added in my announcement that I had 4 new ocs to introduce and here is one of them!

MY KNY OC- Hina Aoki

Age- 13-14

Breathing style- melody (it’s kinda complicated, will explain!)

@kiyokatokito really helped me a lot with her breathing style so big credits to her! :3

She is gonna be mitsuri’s tsugoku btw

Andddd this is supposed to be an au because she’s shipped with a dead character 😃

I also didn’t add anything about her ship here!

And I’ll be colouring this soon too :3

Her backstory- she is an only child living with her parents, she never had much friends and everyone would eventually either move away or got busy with their things. All the friends she made weren’t really close and sometimes wouldn’t even acknowledge her but hina was too innocent to know their real motives.

Once she decided to join the demon slayer corps, all her friends hated her and thought she had gone insane, saying things like ‘demons don’t exist’. You can say they were already looking for a chance to leave hina so it didn’t bother them what she did after that.

Hina was very sad and her once known bright personality disappeared. She didn’t understand but she definitely got trust issues and found it hard to make friends with her colleagues. She only opens up to people like her mentor Mitsuri!

Some info about her breathing style- as the name melody itself is very self explanatory, there’s this word ‘mellifluous’ which means a sound that is sweet or smooth, pleasing to the ear. Me and kiyo got the whole idea about her breathing style from that word!

Her sword is shaped all wavy because she uses it for a very important purpose while fighting! Her body is a little small for her age (kinda like shinobu?) by it’s just her height and she’s still growing ofc. But being light weighted she is fast and she used it to her advantage, she easily moves from once spot to another creating melodic sound waves from her katana.

Mitsuri’s katana is itself very weirdly shaped so she learns some things about it and makes her katana’s movements accordingly. Moving around quickly allows her to distract and confuse the demon until its guard is down.

Since her breathing style is created from love/flame breathing, her cuts don’t hurt at the beginning but as soon the demon stops hearing her melody, that cut burns like hell and they realise it’s the end (kinda like a paper cut? It’s small but hurts a lot)

Her moments are like a feather dancing in the air. She basically created this technique because she kinda related it to her old friends? They would sugarcoat her and then suddenly went bitter towards her! Just like how she makes them distract with her melody and slashes them suddenly.

Headcanons I got so far for her!

She loves flowers, cherries and honey!

She loves spending time with mitsuri the most because she never treated her wrong!

Her first friend that genuinely treated her well was one and only kiyoka ;3 (@kiyokatokito’s oc)

Her fav colours are red and light pink

Her hair colour is supposed to be strawberry blonde just in case you get confused 🤷🏻‍♀️

She is flexible but not as flexible as mitsuri :3

I originally kinda just made her for funsies when me and my friend said "We should make Rui a friend! :O" and with some previous ideas in my brain I made Nanako- or Nana, that's what I call her :3

so yeah, they're friends-

Nanako has the ability to shapeshift into other people, even mimic their voices. She managed to gain access into the Infinity Castle and gain the role of Lower Rank 2 by. ahem. exterminating Rokuro (sorry to Rokuro enjoyers I just spun a wheel and it chose him ;v;) and transforming into him so she could attend meetings and gain more power. Quite devious for a kid.

I didn't intend for this at first but she vaguely reminds me of Muzan help-

so yeh. they may or may not have met somewhere before. who knows. I don't.

While I haven't delved too far into her past yet, I have an idea that she was from a family of power and was assassinated so that's how she died. maybe.

Although, I'm not too sure who could have given her Muzan's blood, but ya knoooow :D

First digital drawing I'm posting this year! Natsuko Kocho, my KnY oc that's been in the oven since 2022! (Comparison to an older drawing of his and long-ass backstory under the cut)

For reference, this is a comparison between my first drawing of him and the one at the top; as you can see, I grew a lot in art over the last couple years LMAO

TW: Depression, substance abuse/alcoholism, and murder.

Natsuko's story is not a happy one. A troubled mind since childhood, he lived his life isolated from his peers, sinking into bouts of inexplicable sadness and alcoholism as time went on.

That changed, though, once he met Kanae, a gentle soul who saved him from an attack his village suffered from a demon. The two became friends, Kanae enjoying his interest in flowers and gardening and Natsuko finding someone who didn't mind his quirks, and, eventually, love blossomed between them, the two eventually marrying each other.

A conflict arose, as Natsuko wanted his wife to be beside him, and begged her to either teach him her breathing style for him to assist her or retire from the Corps, but in her unending kindness and flawless moral compass Kanae couldn't let her lover throw himself to die, neither could she stop battling demons and saving lives.

In one fateful day, Kanae's mission seemed to be more dangerous than the ones before, so Natsuko went after her to at least assist civilians and treat her wounds. What awaited them was a cold-hearted killer, who devastated the village Kanae was protecting, and nearly took her life. Arriving in the scene too late, Natsuko, who had accompanied Kanae's sister, saw his lover's body covered in blood, the life nearly leaving her eyes.

The demon slayer looked into her loved ones' eyes, and told them the truth: she did not want either to follow in her footsteps, Shinobu should take care of the family house and Natsuko should keep to his garden. However, knowing the two wouldn't follow her commands, Kanae gave them instructions should they want to avenge her: she had left books and guides on Flower Breathing for Natsuko, and he should train along with Kanao to become a slayer, and both of them should know what her killer looked like to fight him.

Natsuko, having lost his lover, has his heart fall into an ever-expanding abyss, spending his days in the local tavern and drowning in alcohol. He tried to train to become a slayer, but his intoxicated body was far too damaged for him to develop strength, even if Flower Breathing was a natural fit for him.

After significant berating on Shinobu's part, he dedicated himself to control his mind and heart, gaining a deep understanding of Total Concentration Breathing and starting to overcome his issues, becoming a demon slayer after a few months of training and starting his journey to become stronger and, by being of significant help to the Butterfly Mansion, avenging his lover.

And that's it! This is Natsuko's story, it's really edgy, cliché, and honestly not better than the OG one, I think Kanae's bond with Shinobu and Kanao is a lot better than what I have here, but!!!! I really like Natsuko, and wish I could draw him more, so I guess it kinda balances out :P

EXPLAINING MY KNY OUTSIDERS AU BC SOMEONE EXPLAINED THERES AND I JUST REALLY LIKE MINE.

so basically it doesn’t really follow the exact plot of actual demon slayer but it’s okay I think 😞

Scout(from the series) and Ponyboy have the the tanjiro and nezuko type relationship and mark(that was then this is now) and curly are ponyboys two best friends :3 Bryon ofc is marks best friend but u get it.

Basically when pony,Soda, and Darry were younger, about 4 year before their cannon age, they ofc were very poor and in order to get money, Darry trained and trained and became a demon slayer after passing final selection, becoming a Hashira after 5 months bc of killing a lower moon, though he “lost”his best friend (Paul) because of this. Tho Soda became a demon slayer 2-3 years after leaving his home to train with Darry. Both leaving their home and only being able to speak to pony through letters. Though most were between ponyboy and Soda but Darry always sent letters when he wasnt busy with whatever hashiras were doing, as well as sending much money.

Fast forward a year after Soda leaving, pony became very close friends with a girl named scout, and when she slept over one night in their home in the mountains, he left to the village at night and stayed out longer by accident and when he came back he found his parents and scout covered in blood. And in a panic feeling for pulses and found one in scout. Then trying to run to the village and the getting his scar on his head from scout hitting him into the tree to defend HIM when (you’ll never guess) DALLY came to kill her cause Yk demon stuff. Then the whole thing happens that happens with tanjiro and giyuu with them and instead of sending pony going to a separate trainer he gets sent to Soda and Darry. With scout ofc. And that’s kinda how the whole thing starts.

tho sandy and evie are also techinically slayers, they refuse to go out and fight bc of fear, so they work as nurses, along with Cathy, and m&m helps around. My oc Marilyn is the head nurse there :3 my other OC Diane helps around with the cooking and whatnot since she’s the most experienced.

When Darry and Soda found out about their parents death they were absolutely devastated, even more so when they realize they couldn’t hold a funeral bc Hashira can’t exactly take a day off, esp multiple since it’s about a 4 day walk from where they are to where they live. Bc of this pony and Soda (and scout) lived in Darry’s home. Soda already lived there but whatever.

While pony lives there that’s where he meets mark, Bryon, and curly and became close friends with mark and curly, Bryon wasn’t his biggest fan but didn’t hate him 🙏 mark and Bryon going to final selection with pony.
