It's kinda funny looking back on old screenshots and edits I made 3-5 years ago because in a way they have changed a LOT yet at the same time also not all although the fact that my old computer could barely handle having FFXIV installed is kinda evident in hindsight lol

#ive played for 11 years now but its only as of july last year that i actually have a computer i can go nuts on #with editing and good graphics etc which is probably why ive felt such a stark jump in my abilities #like its MUCH easier to edit by hand when your pc doesnt freeze up and making the screen black out anytime you draw a stroke too long LOL #its kinda funny looking back though because i still rely on things i learned way before gpose was added to the game #to the point where i often forget there are new fancy tools i can use to help the process #and thats despite having used the crimetools for way longer than i havent at this point #same with gpose..... god. that shit was added january 2017 i think. so thats 3 years of learning when to pause at the right time #and using walls to angle the camera and to try and time weather and multiple tries in case skill effects looked off etc etc #honestly since i cant do much photography these days whether that be of people or of bjds gpose is like a balm to my soul #anyway im rambling LMFAO just a lot of nostalgia when looking back. ill have to hunt down some REALLY old screens at some point #just to compare with my newer ones!!! kind of insane to think about this as a skill one can improve on #especially now that suddenly its been like a decade almost of consistently doing it and yet i never stopped to truly think about it #as anything other than a thing you just do???? idk. i have a disconnect to myself and art as a concept i guess LMAO #art is what OTHER people do in my brain. *I* just fuck around to try things out for fun #anyway....#silvi talks

Not a yet fully complete thought/theory BUT who do you think could be the person that called Vein?

Because as we saw, Liu Xiao was at the cinema with Xia Fei and if he made that call, Xia Fei would notice and he would probably be able to connect the dots. So was it really him or someone else?

Vein went to Wang Qing after that call on someone's instruction

"Give me you know what and I will leave you alone." That's what he said and that's what he was going to do, his munition was sleeping darts so he clearly wasn't there to kill anyone. His orders were precise.

And soon enough we found out what he was looking for.

A book/notebook that Cheng Weimin had in his work desk.

Now, Cheng Xiaoshi's mom is trying to save her husband and his father but where exactly is he? Because there is absolutely no way he died in that fire. It just doesn't seem right. Not with the way everyone reacted when his name is mentioned.

We obviously don't know his entire role in the story but we know he's someone who's a very important character.

So could it be possible that maybe he's the mastermind and that we're in for a bigger plot twist that we expected?

This entire time it's been hinted that Liu Xiao is that mastemind and tbh looking at it all, it feels like he probably is but with so many plot twists happening in this series, what if there's a completely bigger picture behind it all? something that we really didn't expect?

Later, when Xia Fei is with Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang he warns them to take care because the person they're looking for is probably hiding bigger secrets.

And it again shows Liu Xiao but he's standing in front of someone's door. Who lives there? Well the person they were looking for was Cheng Weimin and Xia Fei knows that. So the timing for this scene right as he's saying all this...?

Ugh, I'm having so many thoughts about link click now, the wait to find out what's really going on here is going to be so loooooong!! > <

also in terms of the bolas playlist it's fascinating to me that the songs added by each person have a slight tendency to represent a consistent aspect of bolas

like

the songs added by slime are their chaos

nghm okay my take on the neuvillette 'ships' is that they're...all kinda boring? theres a lot of interesting dynamics to explore dont get me wrong but for all of them romance is the least interesting option lol. first is because i dont think he's romantically-inclined by nature (aroace king) but also he intentionally tries to keep people at arms length because of his position as iudex (so even if he has friendly connections i cant see anything 'more' than that actually working out) .

however the most interesting juxtaposition for his character imo is being so filled with love for the world and the people around him and simulataneously not experiencing 'love' in the way a lot of people traditionally understand it. he loves people so deeply no he does not want to pursue any of them romantically. it doesnt even have anything to do with him being a dragon, he's just like that.

#genshinblogging #i dont want to like lean into the idea that aroace people are somehow inhuman but i think the experience would intersect with his dragonhood #but at the same time he'd be pleasantly surprised if he found out that some humans dont experience certain forms of attraction as well #yknow theres a bit of human connection there. like hey man you're not as 'inhuman' as you think you are. youve got something in common with #ordinary human beings #idk i saw a take about his & furina's relationship that kinda ticked me off. their dynamic is weird and complicated by their positions and #traumas and literally everything. they're siblings they're awkward coworkers they're father and daughter they're estranged and #they care about each other. but there is no romance. you can have that level of complexity without romance #and i think adding in the 'neuvillette is romantically interested in furina' aspect to that just flattens it?#romantic shipping is a black hole. once you put the romantic aspect in there it swallows up basically everything else #because it recontextualises everything. in this case unnecessarily so #(im ace and frustrated by amatonormativity again)

@ anyone who's owned a gerbil or rodent in general: how do you help them get better from a super bad ear infection? Like... to the extent that there's pus and it makes the entire room smell like the bowels of hell itself

It's my room that's being stunk up, and it smells worse than my cat's litter box after I've given him wet food. My sibling doesn't want the gerbil upstairs in their room because they have health concerns about the gerbil (the gerbil herself is super old), but she's been in my room for more than a year now

I feel like an ass for wanting the gerbil out of my room because she's very old and sick and might die soon, but the smell is so bad that it's starting to make me feel unwell, I stg

man how do people like... regularly restart games like this? how do you easily start over? I have one main file (with Lavender) that I am EXTREMELY attached to. even if I'd kind of like to try marrying different people and seeing their rooms and achievements and stuff (or to just see Jun's wedding- which I was already married to him when the weddings were made special, so I haven't seen :( ), the thought of starting over from the beginning, especially on farm infrastructure and stuff sounds soul crushing and tedious. Is it like... Do you just like the build up part and not being successful at the end? Is it like... podcast zoning? How do you cope?

well finished Pseudoregalia! it was good! real fun, though my routing was such that i got the easiest key last and had so much more difficulty with the middle part of my play through but that is a charm in of itself i think. having a boss fight at the end kinda was silly cause like just give me more plateforming tbh but she had a cute design so whatever. really more surprised that there was only 2 bosses in this game unless i missed one. I think i get the story but it's vague on purpose. good game overall and i hope that it gets a map soon lol

#i believe more will be added in the next update too #i was fulling hoping for yuri between sybil and the princess but well maybe thats the case still its kinda confusing #like it was a dream i guess and the dreamer wakes up at the end but sybil seems to exist not just within the dream #like maybe its a dreamlands type deal but with the dreamer having more power over the dreamlands idk

The guilt feels light enough to ignore now anyhow, as she shuts off the water fully and moves towards the door; she tries not to doubt that Ramona will make her forget about it entirely.

New lore???? It's been several months so I can't remember the exact details of the Dirge ending, but after defeating Omega that was it, that was the end of the game. Weiss did survive and was carried off by Genesis, but there was no hint of Nero. Either they're not taking the secret ending into consideration, cuz it never led anywhere cuz there was no more story after Dirge chronologically, or Weiss only remembers up to becoming Omega and thinks they succeeded.

#im also kinda sad he hasnt singled out vincent since he got his memories back. but i guess that was only hojo related maybe?#why would weiss himself care about anything vincent related ya know #i do wish we could get nero soon tho. i hate seeing the brothers apart 😭#i dont he'll come until after part 2 is released tho. well yuffie doesnt her memories of post 7 back and idk if they retroactively made 7r #canon so it's possible he could be added and then just never meet yuffie until it's relevant. i do suspect we'll see more deepground in #part 2 anyway. but im still worried he'll be saved for afterwards in which case he wont be the first released since no doubt itll finally be #red. and even then we might get sonon next before nero. ugggghhh i want all of them in the game but nero needs to be here for his big bro!!!#personal
