I have come to realize I never understood the concept of a guy being dreamy until I got to know of Mile Phakphum. Mileapo the same actors from kinn Porsche right? I haven't watched the show but I'm aware of it since before it's release as i had watched one edit before it's release and i liked the chemistry, acting right away but i haven't watched cause i don't watch dramas/series/movies anything lol.

U know this reminded me of the other Thai bl drama actors their ship the brightwin....some 2-3 months ago one of them started dating and that causes distress in their shipping Fandom. All big accts left nd all that typical things happened and funny thing was the girl who bright is dating was another actor from their show right? She was frnds with both ig. Again haven't watched but got to know some things thr ppl on my tl who watched their drama when it aired.

This again made me realise how sometimes shippers just don't have the bigger picture in their mind you know. if i have to take jkk's example then we see them mostly with members so we usually just can compare how they behave with e/o to other members but there's soo many ppl outside that which we don't see so we don't have any idea how they treat other ppl. E.g. when those pictures of jk with mijoo were leaked it again caused havoc in Fandom cause ppl thought him back hugging is too much for friendship or what not. Armys for yrs has portrayed as jk hates woman when reality says otherwise.

We think jm treats jk in a certain way or vice versa when off cam there might be other people whom they treat more differently than that. I always think jungkook treats jm as his close frnds and jm does the same. When ppl were making big deal out of that jk bucking up at jm over sausage many said alot of things about jk when it's actually very normal in friends. I still don't think that's something jk would do to his actual partner but that's just my thoughts. People said jk not knowing jm's schedules nd not even going to any of jm's music shows despite being free ain't a big deal it happens in couples when i feel jk would be the first person to support when he's partner doing some projects as solo(if we assume jk is dating another artist).

Do i think jkk are close? Yes. Do i think they're more than friends? Yes. Do i think they flirt? Yes. Do i think they feel attraction towards one another? Maybe. Do i think they're dating? No. There are some rs that go beyond just friendship but it stops right before crossing the line between friends and romantic rs. I feel jkk's rs is there somewhere.

I’m not exactly 100% on what you’re comparing, because Mile and Apo were shipped, but not because of how much time they actually spent together. They were shipped for the same reasons as many BL actors, which is because they starred in a production together, and have major chemistry.

What added to the shipping is them having history outside the show, seeing as they went to the same college and crossed paths enough times, but weren’t friends. Then Mile talked about how he always thought Apo was good looking, back when Apo came up as an actor. And Apo thought Mile was handsome from when he saw him in their college gym working out. On top of that, Mike basically created the production company Kinnporsche was released under, because he wanted Apo to have the opportunity to shine. So they are or were really good friends, and Apo teased Mile a lot about being his sugar daddy because Mile is really rich, as he grew up in a wealthy business family. But outside of extremely specific lines, shipping them wasn’t because of how they acted around each other, because they spent a lot of time together, or because they appeared to want to be together.

So all that said, while people obviously shipped and still ship them, they aren’t really comparable to JM and JK, because Jimin and Jungkook aren’t being shipped just for being friends and coworkers during one project. They have a decade of history and are very questionable together, and as AYS shows, they were intentional about making time to spend together. Mile and Apo flirt and have fun, and are also private about their friendship for the most part, but anyone shipping them beyond the “I think they’d look good together.” we’re doing so knowing they likely weren’t a couple. Their chemistry is real, and I definitely thought they would remain visibly close as friends, but things change. Also, Mile is apparently dating a woman he has been rumored to have gotten with like two years ago, when he and Apo were still visibly close. So again, people were shipping knowing they weren’t together.

Yes, Jimin and Jungkook’s friendship might change after enlistment as well, we don’t know, but the context and circumstances are very different.

Sometimes I need to post to organize my own thoughts. So here’s my take, please correct me if I’m wrong on any of this.

Mile posted a story update of someone wearing this grey shirt with a red rose:

This shirt was identified as one that was given as a gift by fans to Apo, not to Mile. Here’s what they shared:

In terms of who it might be, I’ll just point out that the rose in both pics is on the same side, and the second pic is obviously not a selfie, so the first one is likely not one either. It could be Apo wearing the shirt and Mile’s taking a pic of that, or it might be Mile wearing the shirt and someone else is taking a pic of him, possibly with Mile’s own camera. If it’s the latter, my money is on Apo taking the pic. I can’t tell which guy it is, but I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts.

Then Mile showed up to a concert wearing a shirt that looks really similar, it has the same red rose on the side, except it’s green, not grey. I also, as much as I can tell, think the distance between the rose and the shirt collar/shoulder is not the same, I think it’s smaller on the grey shirt. So, with the caution of not being 100% sure, I’d say this shirt is not the same one as in Mile’s update.

Interestingly, this shirt was identified as given to Apo by fans, too.

Whether you think it’s the same shirt or two different ones, it seems like Mile def wore to the concert a shirt that belongs to Apo. If we are looking at two different shirts, and the guy wearing the shirt in the first one is Apo, then maybe they think of them as ‘couple shirts’ and that way Apo can be with Mile at the concert even when they can’t actually go together. Just maybe.

I’m not sure any of this is right or makes sense, so please, like I said, do correct me if I got anything wrong. Just to through in something fun in case I got every single damn thing wrong, here’s Mile sharing on his story update two cocktails he made on the anniversary of Kinnporsche. One cocktail is the one he slipped into the show, into ep 114, as the one Kinn would use to seduce Porsche.

With the other one, Mile was listening to The Revivalists’ "Wish I Knew You" with the lyrics, “Wish I knew you when I was young...” And didn’t Mile say something like this? That he wishes he’d have known Apo better back then, when they first met 7 years prior to KPTS? Again, please correct me if I’m remembering wrong.

Okay, so a big part of why I thought the two shirts were different is also because I was under the impression that two different fans posted separately that they gave their gift shirt to Apo, one recognizing the grey one from Mile’s IG story, the other recognizing the green shirt Mile was wearing. I have since been informed that it’s the same fan. So I guess this shirt really is the infamous ‘blue and black dress’ of Mileapo? XD

I’m still gonna keep the original post as is because like I pointed out, the pic in Mile’s update is not a selfie. The shirt there also appears to be buttoned up, unlike how Mile wears it at the concert... or how he wears everything, really. Meaning, I’m still not sure which one of them wore it in that pic. It might have been Apo showing it to Mile. But even if it was Mile wearing it, someone had to take that pic for him, and as it’s Apo’s shirt, I think he’s the most likely photographer. hi just wanted to yell about something i love and didn't really feel like screaming into the void-

DIVERSE GENDER EXPRESSION IN THAI BLS. I NEED MORE. like not gender identity so much, because i think thats a long time coming (but thank you daisy and june for paving the way for nb rep in bl), but like the way that our cis boys do gender. like my best examples are nuea, mon, and somewhat kaeng from y-destiny and kinn's best friend from kinnporche.

i call nuea, somewhat kaeng, and the bsf’s character portrayals examples of thotification, but what i mean is like the fishnet shirts, the high heels, the make-up, the massive fur coats, and... just the slinky, cat-like physicality of the characters all seem to signify a play-around with gender stereotypes and expression.

thotification is good in its own right (and by good i mean GOD-TIER) but with mon we get the other side of this: nalagifying. this is when a character is cute and sweet, but also femme in dress so i wouldn't call earth’s character in my only 12% nalagified, but he does come pretty close.

(yes i know i mentioned y-destiny multiple times but it does pretty well in diversifying the the gender expression of its characters)

now, both of these are pretty tame, in my opinion. but i think that in 2023 there will be more of thotificated and nalagified characters, and that means that we're half way to having full boys-in-skirts type shenanigans.

what i think we'll have to watch out for if this goes mainstream, is this becoming only applied to uke characters, or being played off as predatory if applied to a seme character. or worse still, played as a sign of weakness or caricatured.

im kinda disappointed in taiwan for not picking this shit up at least once, but it is what it is.

yeah, so if you know any characters who fuck around with gender expression outside of being a one time joke, that would be pretty sick.

hiiii anon!!!!! i think its an infatuation. in the way that vegas is infatuated and lusts for power. see, he may Think that he has some ~feelings~ for porsche, but i think deep down, its heavily laced with his need to show/have/exert power and get one over kinn. in the novel, vegas' inferiority complex up against kinn is very neatly discussed, so i take it as that. of course, vegas is a master manipulator, and its so ........ oh so Convenient, isnt it, that WHENEVER porsche is down, vegas just Happens to be there to pick up the bits and take advantage. and he knows his ~sob tragic backstory~ will work on porsche to get porsche onside. because thats what its always been about with vegasporsche: to get porsche onside.

so yeah. maybe on the surface, there are some tender little feelings, but its where they stem from, and it all stems from having what kinn has. IF the show goes by what the novel did and we do get pete to see what Clips vegas has on his computer, and if they ARE the clips that they should be like they were in the novel, then my take will be even more solidified, that in fact, pursuing porsche is just for a power trip to get one on kinn. to have what he has.

but yeah. with pete, its a Very different story. and i think vegas is just highly amused that Pete is the one spying on him when both he AND pete himself know how shit of a job he's doing at it, and yet, he still does it out of duty dhfjsid. and i think vegas just finds that cute and funny, but i think he also lowkey admires pete's relentless efforts and he somewhat .... admires how honestly and viscerally pete's body reacts to him. he somewhat likes how much of an open book pete is to read, how easy it is to read pete, how much of an innocent little lamb he is. and yet he's the only one who can stomach his darkness.

and speaking of pete's relentlessness. i hope its a trait that stays when vegaspete Really get going. that vegas becomes attracted to pete's relentlessness and how stubborn and resilient he is towards vegas, later on. that he won't back down from vegas. i waaaanntttt vegas to go INSANE over that.

and so its suuuuper .... interesting that, pete himself in ep 10 says that HE will go to vegas' place, despite knowing what that means. yeah its a duty, but this time no one's placed him to do it, he himself has chosen to do it. and so, you gotta reap what you sow, right? and i think pete knows the risk and the consequence and that if this goes pear shaped, the aftermath won't be great. but i dont think he in his wildest dreams would have guessed the extent to how dark vegas' abyss is.

and yettttttt. he cannot look away!!! pete cannot look away from vegas!!!!!!! and i bet you that pete himself never in his wildest dreams would have ever known about the depth of his own desires, to which he'll become so aware of. and THAT ... what THAT in turn does to vegas ...... is where the real deal lies.

and so it Thoroughly entertains me and feeds my soul that vegaspete are That Couple who'll in one breath be together in an act of worship and talk about devoting themselves to one another to meet in the next life, and then in the next breath, they'll be tearing each other apart and ruining each other and awakening a lust and desire so deep within them both that was untouched for this long, that has Nothing to do with Getting One Over Kinn or the family politics or anything else. its just all stemming from their own pure carnal feelings for one another.

i think to vegas, porsche = infatuation. porsche represents all the power and dominance that vegas wants. the wordly stuff. the materialistic stuff. that no matter how much you have of it, it still doesnt fill that void. pete = devotion. pete will go on to represent everything within vegas that was once a void but has now been filled. a true spiritual shift that he cant live without. where vegas can be wholly himself, both good and bad, and find some form of peace and completeness from, whilst still being accepted for who he is and staying true to himself.

Kinn was responsible bc he was sober. Both Kinn and Porsche later address how it was a violation of Porsche’s autonomy. The circumstance in which VegasPete’s happened wasn’t the best obviously bc there’s a lot of psychological nonsense going on there (Stockholm syndrome adjacent? Trauma bonding?), but the sex itself was fully consensual. Neither party of drugged or under any influence, both agreed and both wanted it, it was safe (debatable bc BDSM that wasn’t fully discussed ig) sane and consensual. When Vegas tells Pete it’s no fun if the other person gives in, he’s giving Pete an out, making sure Pete wants it too. Vegas showed Pete he himself wants it, and wants to know if Pete wants it to.
