MINI-COMIC: DES MEETS MINA 🦂☀️

This is a mini-comic featuring Viole/Des meeting another OC! Mina is @twtysevapr's OC! Thank you for letting me draw your OC!! ^^ I hope I did her justice- The first time I draw something is always messy 😭

Mina was fun to draw! I like drawing girls with long hair even if long hair can be hard to draw. I also had fun with the little chibi Mina with bowing Des. Little teenies are fun to do!! >w< !!

Quick Akuma OC Lore: Des has a habit of referring to people by full name (similar to Ortho) or my strange titles that may be part of Briar Valley's way of speech not converting well to modern English. For example, Ruggie is called "hyena" so in Des Logic that makes Mina's title "friend of the hyena." But Deuce is referred to as his full name or his first and middle name "Deuce Aldan" (the middle name is my headcanon lmao)

!!! Also, all the Japanese is in hiragana for clarity and are correct to my knowledge as a J2 student. You do not need to know Japanese to follow the comic as the Japanese sound effects and phrases are all additional/adding to the comic. All necessary dialogue is in English.

Edit 11/16: the sound effects should be in katakana but only one of them is (Mina's). The bowing sound effect for Des should also be in katakana. The things I notice days later, eh, everything else is fine xD

I was going to draw them gesturing to either Riddle or Ace but I wouldn't be bothered with drawing the back of someone's head and I have had this in my drafts for sooo long. I hope it looks okay! Deuce and Des' relationship is comedic in and of itself because they spend/spent so long not being a couple. After all, neither realized it for almost a year. Des and Deuce are both new to love, Des is non-emotive most of the time, and Deuce is a bit Dense. Dense Spade.

Their actual name is Brooke Allen ( they never had it legally changed to Kiyo Watanabe for some reason??? They’re fine with being called Brooke btw, they actually kinda like it better than Kiyo [ bonus points for Brookie /j don’t call em that ] )

So anyways they’re white British and lived in England for the first 12 years of their life

Their dad was named Remington [ Remi for short ] and he ran a somewhat popular business

Their mom’s named Heather and she had no job

Remington was uh,,,,an alcoholic

Honestly he never did anything to Brooke when drunk cause he always passed out, but it was annoying for her to have to drag him from the couch and to his bed

It was when he was sober

He wanted Brooke to take over the business when he retired so he pushed their education to the extreme

Whenever they got a question wrong, he would drag a needle across their skin just enough to draw blood

They have a lot of fading scars bc of this, and are very ashamed of them

One day he kinda punched Brooke in the eye while they had their glasses on

And ended up breaking the glass and completely scarring their left eye, hence why they can’t see through it present day

He actually hugged Brooke after that but that’s like the only “”””affection”””””” he showed them ever

Heather doesn’t do jack shit because she’s normalized this behavior

Fast forward to when they’re like 13

The family is in Japan for a year bc Remi got a contract

During this time Brooke meets an old man named Akira who runs a flower shop

Neither Remington nor Heather really cared about where Brooke went as long as they weren’t dead

So Brooke went over to this flower shop every day

Sometimes Akira would give them candy for helping move pots around for him

Most of the time they would just hang around his kitten Ultra Gurl Strawberry ( or Ugs for short )

Or some of the regulars ( specifically Alicia, Daku, and Chinen )

At the end of the year Akira closed his shop down for the day and took Brooke out for ice cream and they said their goodbyes :)

Yunno until Heather collared them to a bike pole in some fit of desperation to keep them in Japan bc she’s seen how much happier they were

Brooke was stuck in the rain until the next day

Alicia, her boyfriend Daku, and some friends are in the area and find this drenched 14 year old passed out on the floor and chained to a bike pole

They can’t break the chains and none of them have charged phones so they pound on the flower shop’s door because it’s like the closest shop

Akira drives to his shop to get ready for the day and sees this group of teenagers panicking

Brooke’s still asleep/passed out despite all the racket

Akira ends up breaking the chains off with a plier ( wasn’t able to break off all the chains w/o hurting Brooke )

Brooke ended up in the hospital and didn’t wake up until the next day

A bunch of this is emotional stuff and I cannot put that into words so we’re skipping to the adoption 👌

Daku’s moms ( Akira [ a different Akira ] and Amai ] adopt Brooke

Remington is paid off to fuck off

Alicia is still Brooke’s best friend

Also while Brooke is helping old man Akira run his flower shop, Chinen offers to find a new name for them

Brooke is reluctant but decides to forget their past entirely

They’re Kiyo now

Old man Akira dies btw

Kiyo is devastated

He ended up passing his flower shop onto Kiyo

Anyways Kiyo dresses goth because Amai and Daku do it

Because I changed my pfp to him tonight, I thought I'd share a picture of one of my Twisted Wonderland OCs: Falsetto (part of one of my twst AUs, BAMS) that I made at the tail end of 2024 based on the image attached below of Lilia.

Falsetto is a side character in my AU who attends a fan school and is shipped in a polycule with ADeuce called False ADeuce (it's a pun, iykyk). He is a transmasc nonbinary with a lot of... opinions.

Diasomnia Coffin - Des & "Black Rose Candy"

While templates were used for these, I drew the rose on both. I rarely draw logos/objects because I don't typically need to, so it looks a bit wonky. I am proud of it! My friends already saw this privately on Discord before it was uploaded here. (*waves*)

Viole's logo (and candy) is a black rose that is chained based on the character they are twisted from (Othello's Desdemona) and their in-twst lore which I have not shared fully (I'm working on it, do you want it now or do you want it to be written in clear English and no hyperfixation ND screech? lmao /nm)

YUUSUKE (DIASOMNIA UNIFORM) 👻 🐲

This is old artwork that I never colored but did line. I don't like how it turned out but I do like sharing the art I try to do for my BAMS AU and of my OC/Yuu (not a sona btw, that's a different one).

Yuusuke Omikami is the protagonist of the BAMS AU and the player/Yuu of that universe. He is shipped exclusively with Malleus Draconia and is an honorary/adopted member of Diasomnia because of this.

(When I say exclusively, I mean he isn't shipped with anyone else, I am sharing!)

Seth (OC) - Obey Me! :D

This is my OC for Obey Me! His name is Seth. He is shipped with Satan exclusively in my writing but has platonic relationships with the other brothers and characters in the game. His hair is annoying to draw and rendering this was a nightmare but I am proud of this !!!

This drawing was done in mid-2024. I am just always hesitant to post about my more "personal" OCs. This has already been shared earlier in the month on my art Instagram (@/kiyo_mixuki).

SIMMS (OC) - ANIMATION

This is my twst OC from my BAMS AU. His name is Simms (Vincent Simmons II) and he is shipped with RookVil and an OC in a polycule.

This is a practice animation that I did just to see what it might look like, it was never intended to be colored and is not a fully rendered piece by any means. This came to be as I was doing a rotoscope project for uni. And I did this in between to do something fun...ish.

Laine Tickery - Teatime Attire (Mad Tea Party Event)

Participating in the Mad Tea Time Event by @sunnysidesevenup. This is my OC Laine Tickery (Lainie) from my AniPrep AU!! :D I don't share this OC much but I love him and his polyship with TreySil 😢

Many of his voice lines reference his unshared story from the longer AU. The most important part for you to know is that his vision is terrible (as in disability) and Neige and Che'nya are his dad-friends (he is their 'fake son')! 🐰
