CAMPFIRE COOKING IN ANOTHER WORLD WITH MY ABSURD SKILL: online il primo trailer della serie fantasy gourmet in arrivo a gennaio

Il prossimo anime targato Mappa sarà diretto da Kiyoshi Matsuda, il regista di Re-Main.

Come vi avevo preannunciato pochi giorni fa, oggi durante una diretta streaming è stato svelato il primo trailer ufficiale di “CAMPFIRE COOKING IN ANOTHER WORLD WITH MY ABSURD SKILL” (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Horo Meshi), la prossima serie animata di casa MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen).

A partire da gennaio 2023, infatti, lo studio porterà in tv un po’ di food porn, con la propria versione dell’isekai fantasy gourmet firmato da Ren Eguchi.

Il progetto è diretto da Kiyoshi Matsuda (Re-Main, Kakegurui xx) e Michiko Yokote (Tsurune, Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san) ne supervisiona la sceneggiatura.

Al character design sta pensando Nao Otsu (Beastars, The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace), mentre le musiche sono firmate da Masato Koda (KonoSuba), Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) e dal Kuricorder Quartet (Tsuritama).

Insieme ad altri tre futuri eroi, il ventisettenne Mukoda Tsuyoshi viene trasportato in un mondo fantastico, per salvare un regno da una misteriosa minaccia. Tuttavia, diventa presto chiaro che Tsuyoshi è stato trascinato nel rituale di evocazione per caso. La sua unica abilità si rivela infatti essere il “Menu del cibo”, che gli permette di aprire un'interfaccia in cui può acquistare e ottenere articoli dai supermercati del Giappone.

Cacciato dal palazzo senza tante cerimonie, Tsuyoshi si mette in viaggio da solo. Tuttavia, la sua capacità di creare piatti deliziosi sconosciuti a questo mondo dà presto i suoi frutti, attirando persino il leggendario lupo Fel. La creatura è talmente affascinata dalle sue ricette che stringe immediatamente un contratto con Tsuyoshi, diventando il suo famiglio. Accompagnato da questo stravagante essere mitico, Tsuyoshi comincia a guadagnarsi da vivere come mercante e avventuriero, viaggiando e cucinando piatti appetitosi che non mancano mai di stupire gli abitanti di questo nuovo fantastico mondo.

La light novel viene pubblicata da Overlap dal 2016, con le illustrazioni ad opera di Masa. Il 12° volume è uscito in Giappone lo scorso giugno. A cominciare dal 217, ne viene serializzata una versione manga disegnata da Akagishi K (Sabikui Bisco), giunta al 6° volumetto.

Cards For Remaining Kizuna Road Dates Announced, Including CHAOS v. Third Generation NEVER 6-Man Title Match; SHO Appearing at GLEAT’s 7/1/2021 Show

NJPW finally announced the rest of the Kizuna Road 2021 tour cards, which resumed this Saturday 6/26/2021. Only the two Korakuen Hall shows on 7/1 & 7/2/2021 will be streamed. Interestingly, those two shows will also be carried in Japan by Abema, who are also the owners of both DDT and Pro Wrestling NOAH these days. Still waiting to see if anything is going to come from that.

The tour caps off with another NEVER Openweight 6-Man Comedy Tag Team title match, on 7/2/2021, with the record-breaking CHAOS tandem of Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI defending against the Third Generation, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata. The night before, there will be three special singles matches to preview the title match.

NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship: Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] (c) v. Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata

Since the pandemic, there have not been a lot of NJPW wrestlers taking outside bookings, the AEW and Impact excursions notwithstanding. OK, maybe I defeated my point. Anyway. 

GLEAT is a relatively new promotion, owned by LIDET, the previous owners of Pro Wrestling NOAH, put together by Kiyoshi Tamura, much of it from the ashes of the now-defunct Wrestle-1 promotion that was founded by Keiji Muto. Their shtick is they have their own style of pro wrestling, but are also resurrecting the “UWF Rules” worked shoot-style wrestling matches that was popular for a time in the 80s and 90s.

Their first major show comes on 7/1/2021 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, and the main event will feature NJPW’s SHO, wrestling in a UWF Rules match against Takanori Ito. Ito is a product of Wrestle-1, having won tag and singles belts there (but never the main title), but also is a champion full-contact karate practitioner. SHO of course has some background in jiu-jitsu and MMA himself, so this is an inspired pick.

No word on if this will be a continuing relationship between NJPW and GLEAT; when LIDET bought NOAH, they famously kicked out any Bushiroad assistance, financial or talent, but if we are honest, the Jado/Suzuki-gun era of NOAH nearly ran the company into the ground. We’ll keep an eye on this one for now.

Bushiroad ha aperto un sito ufficiale per la serie animata di “CAMPFIRE COOKING IN ANOTHER WORLD WITH MY ABSURD SKILL” (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Horo Meshi), da gennaio 2023 porterà il fantasy gourmet di Ren Eguchi in tv. 

Un primo teaser verrà mostrato durante una diretta speciale, fissata per il 4 novembre.

L’adattamento è diretto da Kiyoshi Matsuda (Re-Main, Kakegurui xx) e Michiko Yokote (Tsurune, Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san) ne supervisiona la sceneggiatura.

Al character design sta pensando Nao Otsu (Beastars, The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace), mentre le musiche sono firmate da Masato Koda (KonoSuba), Kana Utatane (Akebi's Sailor Uniform) e dal Kuricorder Quartet (Tsuritama).

Insieme ad altri tre futuri eroi, il ventisettenne Mukoda Tsuyoshi viene trasportato in un mondo fantastico, per salvare un regno da una misteriosa minaccia. Tuttavia, diventa presto chiaro che Tsuyoshi è stato trascinato nel rituale di evocazione per caso. La sua unica abilità si rivela infatti essere il “Menu del cibo”, che gli permette di aprire un'interfaccia in cui può acquistare e ottenere articoli dai supermercati del Giappone.

Cacciato dal palazzo senza tante cerimonie, Tsuyoshi si mette in viaggio da solo. Tuttavia, la sua capacità di creare piatti deliziosi sconosciuti a questo mondo dà presto i suoi frutti, attirando persino il leggendario lupo Fel. La creatura è talmente affascinata dalle sue ricette che stringe immediatamente un contratto con Tsuyoshi, diventando il suo famiglio. Accompagnato da questo stravagante essere mitico, Tsuyoshi comincia a guadagnarsi da vivere come mercante e avventuriero, viaggiando e cucinando piatti appetitosi che non mancano mai di stupire gli abitanti di questo nuovo fantastico mondo.

La light novel viene pubblicata da Overlap dal 2016, con le illustrazioni ad opera di Masa. Il 12° volume è uscito in Giappone lo scorso giugno. A cominciare dal 217, ne viene serializzata una versione manga disegnata da Akagishi K (Sabikui Bisco), giunta al 6° volumetto.

The blot/blot king is Taken from Epic Mickey. Which is what this is all based around.

The Blot king is an entity as old as time, long before the stories of the great seven even existed. Very few records of him exist to this day. He was banished to an unknown place by the one beyond the mirror (Mickey) after trying to destroy Twisted Wonderland. He lives through blot, but there has never been enough concentrated in a single area for him to make his return...

...Until now. They constant string of overblots at NRC have opened the bottle, and all he needs now is a heart to maintain a form in this world.

This ends up being Kiyoshi with his ‘special’ heart.

Kiyoshi’s ‘Heart’

Kiyoshi is a rare person. He heart acts like a magic crystal. He can absorb another person’s blot through physical contact and amplify a person’s magic. A draw back is that it takes longer for blot to be clear of his system. Kiyoshi is also able to hear blot building up(those cut scenes with the ink dripping) and when in the area of an Overblotted person he gets heart pains.

“Possessed by The Blot king who has taken advantage of Kiyoshi’s negative emotions, Kiyoshi has completely lost himself to the ink. His heart has been carved out by the blot in order to hold the the blots form. The two have a single goal, Completely erase Twisted Wonderland from existence.”

Basically I head cannon that Crowley never actually researched any way to get kiyoshi back home, and was lying the whole time, and when his lie was revealed Kiyoshi’s lost it.
