• once your daughter was born he would freak out over every little thing

• smudge on the fridge? he would bring out every little disinfecting product you can find on planet earth.

• when she woke up in the middle of the night he’d force you to stay asleep and take care of her

• he would rock her and hum a little and she’d be back asleep in no time.

• he’d freak out when she went to preschool

• then he’d freak out more in kindergarten

• he’d be The Cool Dad™ because he’s cole sprouse for goodness sake.

• she’d grow up on the suite life of zach and cody and suite life on deck, and then act like her father and uncle dylan all day

• as she got older she would begin to watch riverdale (who wouldn’t?) and then say “why didn’t you name em jellybean?” and cole would give you this look and you’d roll your eyes and walk away because your daughter and husband would always gang up on you like that

• and when she gets her first period he’d freak out more than the first day of kindergarten

• let’s not talk about the sex talk because he’d be all over the place

• and let’s not get started on her dating. he’d kill everyone saying “i’m on riverdale and i’ll kill you like [SPOILER] clifford killed his son!” to all the boys/girls your daughter took interest in

Archie Monologue (that we deserve)

I love you, Betty.

Always have, always will.

It hasn’t always been love the way you wanted it, but it’s always been there.

When we were kids you were my dream, my first kiss.

If anyone asked me who the cutest girl in the whole world was, I would’ve said you.

Without a doubt.

Back when I thought my parents separation was the end of everything, you’re the one who helped me through.

No matter the difficulties, we faced them all and overcame them. Together.

I was wrong, no, I was an idiot back when I said Miss Grundy was the one who believed in me when no else did.

Because you’ve always believed in me, seen the best in me.

Even when I couldn’t see it myself.

I’m not perfect. Not even close.

It’s taken me some time and some distance to see you aren’t either.

No one is, not really.

And I realized that mine putting you on that pedestal for so long only hurt you.

So I won’t say you’re perfect.

But I will say this, you’re perfect for me.

when you and archie first started dating, you were unsure of whether or not it was going to work out

you were a serpent after all and the whole town knew how he felt about them

this resulted in the relationship being kept a secret from everyone

including your sister toni

you hated hiding things from her but sweet pea was one of her best friends and he hated archie, therefore, so did she

you would have to run out on archie sometimes because of serpent duties and he would get upset

‘why do you always chose them over me?’ ‘they’re my family, arch. why can’t you accept that?’

this would result in a lot of fights

one day you came home crying and toni was like ‘who do i have to kill?’

you tried to tell her it was nothing but she saw right through you

so you told her everything

how you and archie began dating and have been keeping it a secret for a few months

‘i can’t believe you didn’t tell me.’ ‘toni you hate him’ ‘of course i do, he made you cry’ ‘you hated him before’ ‘i would have accepted the fact that you liked him and i would have to deal with it, but now i do hate him more’

‘he doesn’t deserve you’

she would tell you that constantly

it got annoying

especially after you and archie had made up

he told jughead about your relationship

jughead supported it

pretty soon everyone knew that you and archie were dating

sweet pea was the angriest

he felt like you betrayed him

‘get over it pea, it’s none of your business’

he was mad for a while because that boy can hold a grudge, but he eventually got over it

you and archie were really cute together

when he finally accepted that you were a serpent, he told you he loved you

- when kj and you found out you were pregnant

- you were scared

- because season 3 of riverdale started filming

- and kj was going to be filming until 4 in the morning almost every day

- but keneti was sO excited

- he always loved little kids

- babies the most

- when the twins were brought onto set 

- he had heart eyes the whole time and he couldn’t get enough of them

- for years he would talk about wanting kids

- the closest he would have to having a baby

- was babysitting his friend’s baby

- and when he did

- he would basically ignore you

- but you didn’t mind because kj with a baby is cute

- “kj..? i have to ask you something..”

- “what’s wrong?”

- his arms wrapped from behind you and placed his hands on your stomach

- “when do you want a baby?”

- “always. all the time. why?”

- “how about.. now?”

- you pulled away and showed him the test

- kj slowly taking it in his hands

- “i know you just started filming season three but i will-”

- the doctor placed the crying girl on your chest

- the doctors took the girl and cleaned her off and did everything for her

- and kj wiped your face

- you smiled and they brought the girl back

- you held her to your chest

- tears in both your eyes

- kj stared at her

- his eyes twinkling 

- he let you and her have your moment

- and then it was his turn

- he sat on the chair and slipped off his shirt

- taking the delicate girl in his arms

- “hello, gorgeous. i’m your daddy” 

- he smiled and she slowly opened her eyes and the corners of her mouth tilted up just a bit

- his finger lightly touched her cheek and her smile grew

- “you’re my princess, baby girl”

- “do you know the name of her yet?”

- “do you want to go with our first or second choice?”

- “i like the second choice better”

- kj smiled down at his baby girl

- “her name is amara rose apa”

- “beautiful name”

- you three were in the hospital for the next couple of days

- and then you were free!

- and kj couldn’t stop watching his little girl

- the two of you went MIA on social media for a bit so you two could focus on your newborn

- as she grow older

- like when she started to sit up on her own

- kj played her guitar

- serenading her

- and when he had to go and film

- he was sOOO sad

- and you and amara would visit him on set

- and if kj was shooting

- amara was being passed around and played with

- when kj heard her giggles when he was done

- he’d happily run into the tent and take her

- kissing her cheek and then giving you a kiss

- “how are my favorite girls doing?”

- he would always post videos and photos of her

- because he just loved her
