This is not the story of a Skaikru Princess who led a band of teens to the ground. Instead, our tale follows Klark kom Azgeda, a Natblida and fearsome warrior known by most as Wanheda. Her unlikely friendship with Heda Leksa kom Trikru would forge a new world- ending a cycle of violence and war that had lasted ten generations.
But, contrary to popular belief, the tale of Heda and Wanheda did not begin with sworn enemies crossing blades at the Battle of Syra. Nor did their journey commence with the legendary victory over Maun-de, whose song is often heard around campfires or inside alehouses.
Instead, their tale began a decade and two winters before the fall of Mount Weather when our two heroes were children. One Azgeda, the other Trikru- sworn enemies for generations. Theirs was an unexpected and complicated friendship, born from a misunderstanding over sweets.
Or:
The Ark lands when Clarke is a child. She and Lexa become friends but grow apart through the years. Still, they leave presents for each other in the same tree stump where Lexa hid her lemon cakes. They meet years later as enemies on the battlefield. Will their friendship endure, or will they fight to the death? Read to find out.

" Aren't you going to say something?" / raven
Tumblr media
Oh boy. There’s a lot of things Raven wants to say. Of course, the brunette has learned over the years that sometimes it’s better to keep one’s innermost thoughts to themselves. After all, the mechanic has a reputation for being very blunt- which isn’t always appreciated.
Her mouth opens several times, but she stops herself. It’s a dangerous question and Raven refuses to take the bait. “Uh-uh. No.” She waves a playful finger at Clarke, though she’s still serious. “Whenever we have one of these conversations, it goes one of two ways: we get pissy and don’t talk for weeks, or we scream at each other and then don’t talk for weeks. I’m-“ Raven uses hand gestures to try to get her point across. A deep breath helps as well. “I’ve said my piece and I don’t want to dwell on this any longer. I’m sorry if that’s not what you want to hear.”

In @entirelytookeen’s wonderful clexa fic "The White Queen Running", Clarke finds herself in a parallel universe where she's the queen of the Ice Nation instead of an Arker. Early on there's a conversation ostensibly in Trigedasleng, for which the author naturally used a translation convention. As practice, I decided to see if I could translate it into actual Trig.
There is a version here with side-by-side Trig and English parallel text. The English version is not @entirelytookeen’s original English dialogue, but rather a re-translation of my Trig back into English, because my translations couldn’t always be literal. The original fic can be read on AO3 here.
Clarke is opening her mouth to apologize for not knowing Trigedasleng when she suddenly realizes she does know it; has the whole repository of the main Grounder dialect at her disposal. That is never going to stop being unnerving. She switches with unthinking ease. "Moba, ai nou don ste figa en ai... bilaik hedswimen."
The girl shrugs, which is not exactly accepting the apology. "Chit yu gaf?"
Maybe she’s some kind of curator, standing guard and helping the curious. The lack of introduction is a little off-putting, but Clarke can’t imagine Ice Nation warriors are well received in the capital despite everything. "Nofodon. Won na led au poulis, tondisi, en stegeda mous raun der."
The girl rests one hand on her hip. She’s imposing, even without warrior’s clothing. She has no tattoos that Clarke can see, no weapons besides the requisite knife at her hip. Her presentation would be completely unremarkable, except for a large silver ring on her right thumb. Somehow, she still manages an air of authority that catches at Clarke’s attention. A whisper of deja vu. Clarke shakes free of it. There are more important things at stake.
(You wish to balance out the death you have brought into the world.)
"Yumi na hon dei kaina nofodon in?"
The young woman folds her arms. "Ron ai waines op."
"E, oso ste hukopon nau. En," Clarke rushes to add, "yu heda na gaf em in."
A dark look flashes across the woman’s face, and for a second Clarke is sure she’s said exactly the wrong thing. Then she gives a small sigh, shoulders slumping as the barely-concealed hostility leaves her frame. "Sin daun," she says, turning to the small stepladder and climbing up to the second row of hanging maps.
Clarke obeys. "Mochof," she says. "Ai's gei bilaik yu ste sisfou." The girl doesn’t turn from where she’s turning the sections. "Ai tagon laik --"
"Ai get in chon yu bilaik." There’s no more suspicion, she’s merely factual.
"Ait." Clarke licks her dry lips. "Yu mema tongkola kom azgeda klin seintaim."
"Ai don laik fossopa raun langeda twin yu tof en ain. Bilaik taim ai nou ge don frag op kos ai mema yu tongkola klin." She raises an eyebrow in Clarke’s direction, looking back over her shoulder. "Ba bilaik yu biyo, oso ste hukopon nau."
"Ou." Close proximity to the Ice Nation would go a long way in explaining her attitude, especially if she’d served before the Coalition was in place. Perhaps she could help Clarke to understand just what she’d gotten herself into. "Skyumi, ba hanch taim yu laik fossopa?"
Her hands pause only a moment in perusing the maps. "Fai yiron, kom taim ginteik kom chilnes."
"Ait." Clarke searches her memory. "Raun yiron kom gon."
This causes the young woman to stop and turn, giving her a hard look. "Tu yiron kom gon. Taim yu don kom au haiplana."
"Ait."  Clarke agrees, trying to cover with a smile. If anything, the other girl’s expression grows more suspicious. Oh, screw it, Clarke thinks, and blurts out: "Chit don gon daun hashta naya?"
"Haiplana fou yu?" She turns her whole body, reaching up on either side to secure her perch as she faces Clarke, who can’t help noticing the gorgeous musculature of her arms. There’s definition all the way down to the precise turn of wrists. It draws Clarke’s attention to her hands and the unique shape of her ring: cut at an angle, so that a broader piece juts out above her knuckle before the band tapers around the base of her thumb. "Yu."
"Ai -- chit?"
"Yu gaf get in taim ai get sontaim in?" She turns back to the maps, movements jerky this time as she rifles through them at a slightly faster pace, even callous in how she flips from one to the next. "Embi ge maya op raun tagen podi kom ogeda fyucha azgedon. Yun ron skruwen op: taim hedplei kom naya ge foto en haken, yu na bilaik skrudon na lid yu kru in gon chilnes."
Lexa never talked about the Ice Nation -- not if she could help it -- but the other warriors had, in whispers and with warning looks. They were a strange people, they told the Arkers. They lived on the roof of the world, closer to the sky where spirits lived, and the whispers of those beings filled their dreams. Their lives were filled with rituals and prophecies and strange power. Clarke had only cared inasmuch as how effective that kind of psychological warfare must be, and how Nia must wield this fear like any other weapon.
"Yu renon don laik shouna kom naya en yu nontu don sad in na kod haiplana in ona disha mesej bilaik lomon. Em don vout in mebi naya na bilaik moubeda heda en den kep em zodon we. Steda, naya don teik bleirona gon em tombom en swega klin bilaik yu na ge wan op fou deimeika bag au dei sintaim." She finds what she’s looking for, starts to unhook the map from its securings.
Clarke knows she should be paying very careful attention right now, only her eyes keep snagging on the ring. There’s a pattern etched into the surface, on the broader section, but she can’t quite make it out from where she’s sitting. When the other girl lets the heavy map fall to the table it makes Clarke jump, and she ends up looking straight into the young woman’s eyes.
"Yu don teik naya daun snap," she says quietly. "Ai don sen in bilaik em wamplei nou laik sou snap." She turns back to the map and begins to unfold it to the full expanse, the oilskin rustling with each careful movement. "Haiplana klark kom azgeda: gada bilaik komba raun kom skaikrasha. Ai don tel yu op, ai get in chon yu bilaik."
Clarke searches the girl’s expression, taking in the strong line of her jaw, the tension in the way she holds it. "Ai get yu in?" she asks gently.
"Yumi nou don hit op nowe. Ba taim em don komba raun kom yu haisiden, em don tel ai op ogeda hashta yu."
"Em?" But she’s already looking down at the table, at the girl’s hand as it rests there, and the ring. Which bears -- not a pattern, a symbol. One she can never forget, even though she only ever saw it balanced between the eyes of a girl she knew for a handful of days.
“Yu laik kostia,” Clarke breathes, and the bottom drops out of the world.

A perfect match.
A love made by Fate itself.
A love forbidden by their laws.
The Commander of Blood and the heir to the Azgeda throne.
Leksa kom Trikru and Klarke kom Azgeda.
They fell in love. They were soulmates. One completed the other. They made each other stronger. They understood each other.
But to be Commander is to be alone. And to be Azgeda heir is to be cold.
To be Commander is to be fair with everyone.
To be Azgeda heir is to hate the Commander.
Two girls who fell in love.
One law that forbid their love.
Two broken hearts who will never love another.

You’re all I want, all I need
Chapter 1 - I’m ready now
Chapter 2 - The 13th clan
Chapter 3 - Soulmates
Chapter 4 - Your enemy is our enemy
It's sunset by the time everything is ready for the summit. Lexa's throne room has been set up to host the ceremony with a long red carpet the goes from the doors to the steps at the feet of her throne. It fits quite perfectly, Clarke thinks, that the Commander of Death has to walk her way towards the Commander of Blood on a crimson rug.
Everyone else is already inside, standing by one side of the red carpet and waiting for Clarke to make her entrance. Or better, they’re all waiting for Wanheda. That's who she’ll have to be, at least for tonight. The broken former Sky leader will have to wait outside those doors. Thankfully, the handmaids Lexa sent to help her get ready did an amazing job in making her look like the powerful woman everybody is expecting to see. She is dressed in a gown with a high side vent that leaves her legs visible, the top is covered by a golden leather corset which all but sets off her cleavage. Then there's her hair, held away from her face and arranged in a series of intricate braids, reflecting the grounders' traditional hairstyle. Two stripes of war paint go from each one of her eyes to her hairline. Everything about her makes her appear like a powerful grounder commander.
"Yumi na teik won sonraun au?" And will you take a life with me?
"Medo ste thonken, medo drein au." A body's hollow, a body bleeds.
Clarke hears the beautiful voice of the singer starting to sing as the guards open the doors to let her into the room. She takes a moment to look at the people in the room, everyone’s staring at her expectantly. Taking a deep breath, Clarke holds her head up high, as she's seen Lexa do many times before, and she walks in.
"Oso kik raun ogeda, soulou." We live as one, we live alone.
"Ai laik yu gona." I am your soldier.
"Ai na get raun, you." I will atone.
Clarke’s breath gets caught as soon as her eyes land on Lexa’s form, standing tall in front of her. They didn't have the chance to see each other before the beginning of the summit, so they're both mesmerized by sight of the other. They don't let it show, of course. Nonetheless, if you paid close attention, you could totally tell they are staring languidly at one another as their eyes study single detail of the other's dress, hair and make-up. Lexa looks as ruthless as she does while wearing her armor, but all Clarke can think of is that this is the first time she's ever seen her in a gown, and she is stunning. Lexa is wearing a long black and crimson dress that leaves her arms and her cleavage on display. Her hair is held back in her usual braids, but her war paint is simpler than the one she wears for battle. Like Clarke's, it shapes into two stripes that go from her eyes to her hairline. As she walks, Clarke can't help but notice Lexa has a tattoo on her upper right arm. She wonders what’s the story behind it, but that of course is something that will have to wait for later. Right now, she needs to focus on keeping her back straight, and on walking without tripping on her own feet, so that the mighty Wanheda won't make a complete fool of herself in front of all these people.
"Yumi na teik won sonraun au?" And will you take a life with me?
"Ai keryon gyon op, ai keryon g' breik au." My soul moves on, my soul is freed.
Clarke comes to a stop in front of Lexa, as the voice in the background sings these words. They stare deeply in each other's eyes, and for a moment it feels like it’s just the two of them in the room. Their eyes shine with a newfound resolution, and it seems like they're saying that yes, they will take a life with the other. The words of the song reflect perfectly what Clarke feels right now. Thanks to Lexa her soul is able to move on from all the horror and loss she's experienced in her life, and now it’s finally free. Free to love the woman standing in front of her with all of her heart, and free to take a life with her.
"Pas skaikrasha, klin tristraka," After the storm, a lightning flash,
"En houd don gon hosh trashsaka." With all the world reduced to ash.
Clarke is lost in her thoughts, until the singer moves on to the next verse of the song. Brought out of her reverie, she remembers that it’s now time for her to bow to Lexa. Before anyone can notice the way the two commanders are staring at each other, she bows her head, and very slowly, she moves to kneel down on one knee. Staring at the floor as sign of respect and submission, Clarke cannot see the look on Lexa's face. She doesn’t notice the way her eyes sparkle with unshed tears, or the way her mouth opens slightly in awe. Thankfully, years of training in hiding her emotions help Lexa keep it together in front of her warriors. No one notices the way her eyes water up as Lexa’s mind darts off to that damned day when she had to leave Clarke behind in order to save her people. She remembers how bad she felt when she set foot back into camp that night, praying to whatever god that’s up there that Clarke was still alive. She wouldn’t dare to hope that Clarke might forgive her after her betrayal, but as long as she was okay, it didn’t matter if the woman hated her for the rest of her life. Thank God, Clarke did make it out of it alive. But only for the Ice Queen to go and threaten her life to win over Wanheda’s power. Lexa can’t believe she’s almost lost yet another person she loves at the hands of Queen Nia. But Clarke is here now. She's safe here in Polis by her side. Not only did she manage to protect her from Azgeda, but she also got Clarke to forgive her, and even more, to love her.
"Yumi na teik won sonraun au?" And will you take a life with me?
"Houd na fleim daun, bed' ge jok au." This world will burn, save what you need.
Lexa keeps her eyes fixed on Clarke’s figure until everyone else in the room falls on their knees before her. The first one to follow in on Clarke’s action is Prince Roan of Azgeda, to Lexa’s great surprise. The last ones, instead, are Marcus and Abby, which doesn’t surprise her at all. With that, Lexa takes a deep breath to regain her composure. She cannot let her voice waver as she addresses the people bowing to her. She’s their leader, and leaders cannot be weak. Emotion is weakness. She can hear Titus’s voice reaping it to her over and over again. Lexa moves her eyes quickly around the room, before tilting her head to her right to look at the singer, waiting for her to finish the song.
"Ai nou fir raun," I am fearless,
"Ai mana jomp in," I am to fight,
"Ai mana wan open," I am to die,
"Ai don sin y'in." You're in my sight.
"Yumi na teik won sonraun au?" And will you take a life with me?
"Jus drein jus draun," Blood must have blood,
"Ai medo drein au." My body bleeds.
When the song is over, Lexa brings her gaze back on the people knelt in front of her. And with her head held high, she finally greets them: "Hail, warriors of the 12 clans."
"Hail, Commander of Blood." The assembly replies in chorus.
"Rise." Lexa waits for everyone to be back on their feet, and for Clarke to walk to her mother's side before continuing. "We welcome Skaikru to our halls, in spirit of friendship and harmony. And we welcome Klark kom Skaikru, legendary Wanheda, Mountain Slayer. The reason for the summit has changed. We are not here to negotiate a treaty with the Skaikru, but rather to initiate them into the Coalition."
Loud murmurs fill the room as soon as the warriors assimilate what she just said. But their voices are soon cut off by Lexa's clear voice.
"To symbolize this union the leader of Skaikru must bear our mark." She looks down at Kane and Abby, expecting the choice to rest on either one of them, as Clarke had told her. She stares at them attentively, as they look at each other. Finally, Abby leans in to say something to Marcus. Lexa can't quite make out what is said from where she's standing, but their gestures are enough to let her know ù he is going to be the one to bear the coalition mark.
"Present your arm." She orders after nodding to him.
Right as the white-hot metal mark is pressed on his forearm, the doors burst open, and three people break into the room. Lexa recognizes two of them as Octavia kom Skaikru and her brother Bellamy, who is holding one of her guards at gun point. She has no idea who the other man is, but she reasons he must be one of Clarke's people as well. Having no clue of what’s happening, Lexa looks at Clarke worriedly. But her worry only increases since Clarke looks just as surprised as her to see her friends standing there by the doors. The first one to recover from the shock of the irruption is Titus. The bald man gives them looks at them threateningly as he demands an explanation as to what is going on. Bellamy’s voice is just as harsh as he answers, claiming the summit to be a trap.
“We have to get you out here.” He says, motioning for Clarke to follow them out.
The summit's a trap? No, it can't be right. Lexa promised. She… she promised she wouldn’t betray her again. There's no way this is a trap. Right? Clarke is more confused than ever as she turns to look at Lexa. She wants to trust her with all her heart, and she does. But there’s still a part of her that wonders if she really can trust her. So she asks, just to be sure.
"What the hell is going on?!"
"I don't know."
Lexa doesn't know? Oh, thank God! She has nothing to do with this. Clarke lets out a breath of relief, although she’s not sure whether that should make her feel better or worse. Considering no one knows what’s going on, and she’s never seen Lexa being so alarmed before.
"It's the Ice Nation." Bellamy explains. As if that meant anything at all.
"They're only trying to deceive you, Heda. Azgeda has nothing to do with what's happening. Skaikru is clearly the one behind all of this." An Ice warrior attempts a lame defense, but he’s soon silenced by the rise of Lexa’s hand. Her gaze is penetrating Bellamy's skull as she asks where they've come by that information. The three companions start looking around the room as if searching for the person who has all the answers.
"Where the hell is Echo?" Octavia hisses towards her brother.
"What's going on?" Kane interjects, but the only answer he gets is another question from Bellamy.
"Where the hell is she?"
"Bellamy, we were wrong about this."
"I don't understand..."
Seeing as the situation is only getting more and more confusing by the second, Kane orders his people to lower their weapons, in the hope of finding a solution which doesn’t include the use of violence.
"Bellamy? Bellamy, come in." A voice cracks from the radio attached to his belt. It’s Raven. "The grounders attacked Mount Weather." Her broken words leave everyone in shock.
Bellamy takes the radio in his hand quickly, before asking for a further explanation. "What are you talking about?"
"It's gone. They're all gone. Sinclair and I are the only ones left." Raven takes a moment before starting to whisper broken apologies into the radio. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."
"You should've never moved your people back into Mount Weather." Everyone’s startled by the voice of the Ice warrior who had just spoken moments before. "The Ice Nation did what Lexa was too weak to do!"
"This is an act of war!" Lexa hisses towards the man, and her voice is so cold and threatening that it terrifies even Clarke. "Sentries, arrest the Ice Nation delegation! Including the prince." She shouts at the two guards standing at her side, and they immediately execute their orders.
"We need to go home. If they attacked Mount Weather, Arkadia could be next." Abby says, to which Kane agrees immediately.
"Go. I'll raise an army from the Coalition to help you defend Arkadia. Your enemy is our enemy now. We'll face this threat together."
"Mochof, Heda." A small smile appears on Lexa's face when she hears Marcus thanking her in Trigedasleng.
"Are you coming?" Abby asks Clarke, to which she answers without hesitation.
"They need an ambassador from our clan to stay here in Polis."
"Clarke, it's not safe for you here?" Funny how it took Bellamy three months to fight for her to come back home. The problem is, Arkadia’s not her home anymore. She belongs here with Lexa.
"I'll be safe here under Lexa's protection."
"Please tell me you didn't forgive her. She left us to die at Mount Weather not more than three months ago! Or did you forget?!"
"I'm sorry, Bellamy. But my home's here now." Clarke says the last part looking straight at Lexa.
With that, Bellamy gives up and turns around to make his way out, with the others following right after. All but Abby, who goes to hug Clarke goodbye before leaving.
"Be safe."
"You too."

I love this edit I made so I hope you do too! It's just four of the clans we see often and their leaders. I guess it's less their leaders more just someone very important that is in that clan.

" Don't give me that look" / octavia
Tumblr media
Octavia is done taking orders from others. She still doesn’t think of herself as a leader, but she’s no longer just a follower. And while this is a request rather than a command, it still rubs her the wrong way.
The warrior draws closer to the blonde as if sizing her up. Her grip is tight around the hilt of her sword, but the weapon is angled down with no intention of being used. She feels powerful now, unlike on the Ark where she was at everyone else’s mercy. Hiding beneath the floorboards, pretending not to exist. Even when they first made it to the ground, everyone walked on egg shells around Bellamy’s precious little sister. No. No more. The naïve girl who once chased butterflies is now the one who slits throats.
“What look, Clarke?” Blue eyes seem to burn into the other. “Enlighten me.” Octavia’s already in a bad mood, so she’ll be damned if anyone is going to tell her what to do.

1,000 days since Lexa was killed.
In honor of Leksa kom Trikru, I re-watched the 4 hour Clexa supercut to make a list of my top 100 favorite Lexa quotes.
Tumblr media
Jaha: “They want us to turn on each other.” Lexa: “They want justice.”
Jaha: “What is your name?” Lexa: “Leksa.” *And in that moment, a legend was introduced*
Lexa: “One of you must pick up the knife, that is our way.” Jaha: “And if we refuse?” Lexa: “Then the Commander will use it to slit both of your throats.”
Lexa: “He made his choice. This one’s mine.”
Lexa: “The massacre must be answered. Blood must have blood.”
Lexa: “You’re the one who burned 300 of my warriors alive.”
Lexa: “Do you have an answer for me, Clarke of the Sky People?” Clarke: “I’ve come to make you an offer.” Lexa: “This is not a negotiation.”
Lexa: “Deliver me the one you call Finn. Our truce begins with his death.”
Lexa: “Let her pass!”
Lexa: “You bleed for nothing. You can not stop this.”
Clarke: “Show my people how powerful you are. Show them you can be merciful. Show them you’re not a savage.” Lexa: “We are what we are.”
Lexa: “Finn is guilty.” Clarke: “No, he did it for me.” Lexa: “Then he dies for you.”
Lexa: “What you did tonight will haunt you until the end of your days.”
Gustus: “The Sky People are different, they’re more like the Mountain Men than us. It could kill our coalition.” Lexa: “Our coalition, or me?” Gustus: “You are the coalition, Commander.” Lexa: “Then do your job and protect me.”
Lexa: “The Sky People march with us now. Anyone who tries to stop that, will pay with their life.”
Lexa: “I lost someone special to me too. Her name was Costia.”
Lexa: “I thought I’d never get over the pain, but I did.” Clarke: “How?” Lexa: “By recognizing it for what it is. Weakness.”
Lexa: “The dead are gone Clarke. The living are hungry.”
Lexa: “Tell me something Clarke. When you plunged the knife into the heart of the boy you loved, did you not wish that it was mine?”
Gustus: “This alliance would cost you your life Heda. I could not let that happen.” Lexa: “This treachery will cost you yours.”
Lexa: “Attack her, and you attack me.”
Lexa: “Leave me!”
Lexa: “I’ve seen your strength, it’s true. But now you waiver. You couldn’t kill Quint, you couldn’t leave me to die. That was weakness.” Clarke: “I thought love was weakness.” Lexa: “Mockery is not the product of a strong mind Clarke.”
Lexa: “When I die, my spirit will find the next Commander.” Clarke: “Reincarnation… that’s how you became Commander?” Lexa: “How are your leaders chosen?”
Lexa: “Don’t be afraid Clarke, death is not the end.”
Lexa: “It’s okay, you’re safe.” Clarke: “How’s your arm?” Lexa: “Hurts.”
Lexa: “I was wrong about you Clarke. Your heart shows no sign of weakness.”
Lexa: “Clarke of the Sky People has honored us with her presence.”
Lexa: “Clarke sometimes you have to concede a battle, to win a war.”
Clarke: “This is wrong!” Lexa: “It’s also our only choice. You could’ve warned everyone out there, but you didn’t. You said nothing, not even to your own people. This is war Clarke, people die. You showed true strength today, don’t let emotion stop you now.”
Lexa: “Victory stands on the back of sacrifice.”
Lexa: “What happened here will not stand. The mountain will fall. The dead will be avenged!”
Lexa: “That’s what it means to be a leader Clarke. The truth is we must look into the eyes of our warriors and say go die for me.”
Lexa: “You were born for this, Clarke… same as me.”
Clarke: “What the hell is wrong with you? You can’t just kill everyone you don’t trust!” Lexa: “Yes I can.”
Clarke: “You felt something for Gustus. You’re still haunted by Costia. You want everyone to think you’re above it all, but I see right through you.” Lexa: “G e t . . . o u t.” Clarke: “250 people died in that village. I know you felt for them, but you let them burn.” Lexa: “Not everyone… not you.”
Lexa: “You think our ways are harsh. That’s how we survive.” Clarke: “Maybe life should be about more than just surviving. Don’t we deserve better than that?” Lexa: “Maybe we do.” *And with that kiss, the most legendary tv ship was born*
Tumblr media
Lexa: “You should come with me to the capital. Polis will change the way you think about us.” Clarke: “You already have.”
Clarke: “What did you do?” Lexa: “What you would’ve done… save my people.”
Clarke: “They’ll all be killed. But you don’t care do you?” Lexa: “I do care Clarke. But I made this decision with my head, not my heart. The duty to protect my people comes first.”
Lexa: “May we meet again.”
Roan: “Honor our deal.” Lexa: “I’ll honor our deal when your queen honors my coalition.”
Lexa: “Leave us!”
Lexa: “War is brewing Clarke. I need you.”
Clarke: “You went through all that trouble to capture me, just to let me go.” Lexa: “I went through all that trouble to save you.”
Lexa: “You’re angry Clarke, but I know you. What you’ve done haunts you and it’s easier to hate me than hate yourself.”
Lexa: “It helps no one to dwell on the past, that’s not why I’m here. You’re right, I’m not just letting you go back to your people. I want something more. I want your people to become my people. I’m offering Skaikru the chance to join my coalition. Become the 13th clan, no one would dare move against you because that would be moving against me.”
Lexa: “You can’t run away from who you are Clarke!”
Lexa: “Please come join me, let us speak in private. I have a message for Queen Nia.”
Lexa: “Would anyone else care to question my decisions?” Everyone: … .. . Lexa: “Good, then let's begin.”
Lexa: “I will not let the fear of war dictate our agenda.”
Titus: “She won’t even see you. Yet everything you do elevates her. Why?” Lexa: “Clarke elevates herself. She’s special.”
Lexa: “I never meant to turn you into this.”
Lexa: “This is an act of war. Sentries arrest the Ice Nation delegation!”
Lexa: “Clarke will be safe here under my protection.”
Clarke: “I stayed because it was the right thing for my people.” Lexa: “Our people.” Clarke: “If you betray me again.” Lexa: “I won’t. I swear fealty to you, Klark kom Skaikru. I vow to treat your needs as my own, and your people as my people.”
Nia: “None of us here wants war.” Lexa: “We both know what you want, Nia. If you think me unfit to command, issue the challenge, and lets get on with it.”
Titus: “Heda, who will fight for you?” Lexa: “I’m the Commander. No one fights for me.”
Clarke: “You don’t stand a chance against Roan.” Lexa: “You’ve never seen me fight.”
Clarke: “I can’t just let Roan kill you.” Lexa: “If that is to be my fate, you must! You’re driven to fix everything for everyone. But you can’t fix this. I have to do this on my own and you have to let me.”
Lexa: “The queen is dead! Long live the king!”
Clarke: “Is this I told you so?” Lexa: “No, this is thank you.”
Clarke: “Goodnight Commander.” Lexa: “Goodnight Ambassador.”
Lexa: “You left a hero to your people, and you return one. The mountain slayer returns with the body of the ice queen. You bring them justice.” Clarke: “You bring them justice.” Lexa: “We bring them peace.”
Lexa: “I call upon the armies of the 12 clans. In a days’ time we lay waste to Arkadia and everyone within its walls!”
Indra: “Commander, you can’t seriously be considering this.” Lexa: “I’m not considering it. I’m doing it.”
Indra: “Polis will not support you. Titus…” Lexa: “Titus is my subject! They’re all my subjects! Do you say they will defy me? Will you defy me?” Indra: “No Heda, I will not.” Lexa: “Then let it be known… blood must not have blood.”
Lexa: “She can speak for herself, Titus.”
Titus: “See, it is human nature to need vengeance. Only once satiated can there be peace. That is our way.” Lexa: “That was our way! Clarke?” Clarke: … .. . Lexa: “So blood must not have blood applies only when it is my people who bleed.”
Lexa: “Heda will speak for herself! Enough, Titus.”
Lexa: “Quiet! The crimes of the Mountain cannot be answered by one man. Wanheda knows this. Her actions show us a promise for a new future. A world in which violence does not always answer violence. A world in which our children can flourish, without the shadow of death.”
Titus: “What are their orders Heda?” Lexa: “Any Skaikru caught across the line will be subject to a kill order.” Semet: “Heda I do not understand. How is this vengeance?” Lexa: “It is not vengeance my brother. It is justice.”
Clarke: “So when do we have to leave?” Lexa: “We may be drawing a line but who’s to say you can’t choose to stay on this side of it?”
Titus: “If you care for Clarke you will send her home, that is the only way she will be safe! Don’t make her pay the price for your mistakes as Costia did.” Lexa: “My mistakes? Azgeda cut off Costia’s head and delivered it to my bed! And still I let them into my alliance! I am more than capable of separating feelings from duty!!”
Clarke: “I’m sorry.” Lexa: “Don’t be. You have to go back, they’re your people. That’s why I… that’s why you’re you.”
Clarke: “If Octavia and I are gonna get behind the blockade by dawn…” Lexa: “Shhhh.”
Lexa: “The next commander will protect you.” Clarke: “I don’t want the next commander. I want you.”
Lexa: “Clarke.” Clarke: “I’m here.” Lexa: “My fight is over.” Clarke: “No. No. I won’t accept that.” Lexa: “You were right Clarke. Life is about more than just surviving.”
Lexa: “Our fight is not over.”
Clarke: “I never thought I’d see you again.” Lexa: “I told you my spirit would choose wisely.”
Lexa: “It’s a firewall.”
Clarke: “Lexa! I love you.” Lexa: “I’ll always be with you.” *Lexa will always be with all of us*

Go drop some votes for the amazing Alycia Debnam-Carey... without her, we would’ve never had Lexa, Clexa, Clexakru, or ClexaCon.

Hello :) Do you know any good fics with Ice nation Clarke? I have fallen in love with that concept. Hope you are having a great day :)
Hey there ^-^ fair warning: I haven’t read most of these fics, but they seem good judging from the summaries. Without further ado, here they are:
The White Queen Running — the only one I’ve read (and you probably have, too). It’s amazing :)
The Ice Burns — Clarke is tormented by her demons, so she goes to slay them. Clarke goes to Ice Nation to get training and becomes a badass while everyone is searching for her, when they can’t find her they think she is dead.
A Different Landing series — The drop ship was always going to have problems coming down. Unfortunately for the 100 they ended up in Ice Nation territory where the locals were far less forgiving.
Ice That Freezes the Soul — Canon divergence from 1x01, featuring Ice Nation Assassin!Clarke.
Make me love you ~ Gon raun gon chit yu wich in — What if Lexa had to fight yet another war? What if Clarke ended up in the Ice Nation?
Take Me From War and Set me Free — Clarke is an Ice Nation general, joining Lexa and the coalition to wage an assault on the mountain. Both women have come to respect and trust each other. Then, something more.
From Stars to Snow (and back again) — First she fell from the sky as baby and was taken in by Trikru. Then a deal was struck, and she was adopted by the Ice Nation. Now she is known as Klark kom Azkru, a warrior and healer of her people.
Fealty — Many years ago a warrior discovered a strange object lying in the crater, and inside of it was a unconscious little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. Now that girl sits on the Azgeda throne.
in the absence of everything, i promise to keep you warm — Clarke is a warrior raised by the Ice Nation and grows up believing she was abandoned by the Trikru and struggles to find her place. Queen Nia sends Clarke on a mission: Infiltrate the Trikru by posing as one of their own.
The Point of a Knife — The wind had dried the blood on Clarke’s hands. Knuckles white, she held on to her knife. It was all she had. The Polis tower poked through the horizon. She kept going. Exhausted. She was slowly drooping like a plant cut off from all that nourishes its life. At last, she collapsed.
welcome to the new age (this is it, the apocalypse) — What if Polaris wasn’t the only part of the Ark to fall to the ground, ninety five years ago. What if the entire Ark fell with it?
Ice In Her Veins, Dirt Under Her Nails — AU in which Clarke is born a Grounder in Azgeda. She is sent to Polis alongside Ontari by the Ice Queen in order to oust Lexa from her position as Heda and put the Ice Queen in her place. Clarke has never actually seen the infamous Heda. Little does she know, she’ll soon come face to face with the legend and everything will be thrown to the wind.
Before Words, Beyond Silence series — A re-imagining from the Pilot: Clarke Griffin is rudely taken from her cell in the middle of the night only to be forced into a room with the man she hates the most - Thelonius Jaha.
I will always hold you close (but I will learn to let you go) — AU where the dropship landed on Ice Nation territory and a year later Clarke is the champion chosen to fight against Lexa on the challenge.
I hope you like those suggestions :) I’ll certainly get to reading a lot of them!
