A/N: Different types of drunks are so funny to me. I love watching some ppls personalities just doing a 180, its always so amusing to me. I also might write one for demon slayer characters, I was on the fence about mha or kny. lmk if i should do it for my other loves :)

𝐈𝐙𝐔𝐊𝐔 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐘𝐀

Light Weight/Sloppy Drunk

Light. Weight. I mean everyone know it, after one drink his cheeks are flushed and he is grinning like a mad man.

His former classmates love to just offer him drink after drink, just to see him get wasted.

Sloppy drunk. Im sorry, but he is. Slurring his words, hiccuping, stumbling everywhere. 

He always ends up falling somehow, you find him laughing on the floor with people crowding over him trying to help him up.

Talks to everyone he can find. Literally they cant even understand what he is saying because he is slurring his words and rambling about everything.

”Im not drunk, Y/N! You're drunk!” As he is on the floor, refusing to grab onto your hands to help him up. He's so stubborn.

He always ends up vomiting. 

You basically have to pour water down his throat to sober him up.

He refuses to go out the next couple of days cause he is so embarrassed of his actions.

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐆𝐎𝐔

Silent/Clingy Drunk

His usual scowl disappears, and for once in his life he looks…relaxed?

Just watches his friends do stupid things without any yelling.

Seems to scout for you the second you leave his sight.

Lots of mumbling under his breathe that nobody hears.

Sticks with you most of the time. Only talking when someone talks to him, but even so he gives one word responses.

You only know that he is drunk because of his flushed appearance and slight smile. Its so rare to see him smile in front of people.

Mumbles compliments in your ear, and plays with the hems of your outfit.

Holds your hand the entire night and follows you around.

Randomly will disappear and come back with another round of drinks for the table. Instantly becomes everyones favorite drunk.

Yells at everyone the next day if the mention anything about him being “soft”

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐈

Relaxed/Smiling Drunk

Its rare to see Shoto give a full smile, but after a couple of shots he just can't stop grinning.

Is surprisingly much more talkative and friendly towards his ex-classmates.

But the second he finds somewhere to sit, he is stationed there for the rest of the night.

He acts more high than drunk istg

Just sits back and smiles, laughing at everything that comes out his friends mouth.

Its so cute though, because he gets so excited when talking to you.

He def slurs his words but you cant even tease him because he looks like he is having the time of his life.

One of those drunks that finds out they have a random special talent. Like have u seen that video of the drunk dude that finds out he is fantastic at piano?? Thats shoto.

Laughs at his self when he tries to walk in a straight line. “Look Y/N. I cant walk straight!” You just have to go along with it

Doesn't get hungover at all! But also doesn't remember anything lol

Crying/Emotional Drunk

Something about it just gets him so emotional. He doesn't even know why.

He drinks and cries, drinks and cries, until you have to drag him home.

Most of the time he is crying about like the least important things like how good you look right now or how crazy it is that he is dating someone like you.

Other times he tries to go all “meaning of life” on everyone. It throws everyone the fuck off and you always have to try to get him back into the moment. Its so funny tho 

When he bumps into someone, he apologizes so much it makes the other person feels uncomfortable.

Will randomly go silent and then start crying again. The bartender always looks so concerned. 

You have to bring him home early bc he just ruins the vibe. he is not allowed to drink when you guys are tying to relax and enjoy the moment.

Sober him is way more fun lmaooo

𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐊𝐈 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈

Flirty/Touchy Feely Drunk

Are you surprised? 

Its like every single pickup line is blurted out no matter the moment.

You'll be in the middle of a conversation and all of the sudden you hear some bullshit like. “Hey baby, are you from Tennessee?” “Denki dont.” “Cause youre the only ten I see” scares off every single girl you were talking to.

Tries to get you to do lewd ass dancing with him and acts like you killed him when you decline.

Hand on your waist, or thigh, or neck, or ass if you dont slap him away. Genuine pervert.

You catch him flirting with Bakugou once and you got so much second hand embarrassment from the way the blonde just stared at him in disgust.

Tries to unbutton his shirt, and about every ten minutes you have to rebutton it for him. “What, you cant handle all of this?” You almost kill him.

Overall, at least he is a partier and you know youll have fun with him.

Gets HORRIBLE hangovers tho. You are stuck taking care of him the next day (again)

𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐎

Affectionate/Friendly Drunk

Makes friends with every single person she sees.

The drunk girls you see in the bathroom that hypes you up? Thats her.

Especially if you are her partner?? God damn she compliments you so much.

Ends up helping the DJ chose songs when you guys go to clubs. Seriously it is so funny how she ends up talking to everyone.

So much dancing. So so much dancing. Even if its just the two of you, you guys are dancing.

But also mom too, like makes sure everyone has water and isnt getting too fucked up (izuku). Keeps everyone a their best.

You stumble over, she catches you with the biggest smile on her face. Wont even tease you, just continues to make the vibes just absolutely great.

Holds her alcohol perfectly. Enough to get crazy, but she isnt stumbling nor slurring her words.

I just want to go clubbing with her.

𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐎 𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐀

Angry/Fight Picker Drunk

This seems like a shocker. What precious ochako getting mad at people???

Yes. She picks fights.

ALWAYS with dudes that her twice her size too. Be prepared to fight istg.

Yells at people who are too drunk (Izuku) and tells them to get their shit togehter. You have to use your hand to cover her mouth before she gets kicked out.

So many curse words. So many.

Literally gets approached by nobody because she has the biggest frown on her face. 

You have to try to ease her up by dancing with her or showering her with compliments.

Cheers her up for a bit, and she goes back to all smiley and happy, but then someone interrupts the two of you, and she goes back to being pissed.

You have to watch her 24/7.

She doesnt drink that much anymore because she knows how she gets lol

character study. For the entirety of the KNY franchise, Dōma has never been seen taking anything seriously. Even whilst taking painful poisonous blows or near-lethal damage, his smile barely even falters & he deals with the pain as if it's nothing. It's been established that he's not even moved by Muzan's presence, unlike other oni, and even seems to provoke other demons, like Akaza, even if they're able to inflict tremendous damage to him. The only moment when Dōma is ever depicted as being upset by something, is this:

Granted, this guy comes off as pretty delusional in the first place, wondering why the Hashira are so furious with him & whatnot, but the second Kanao calls him out Dōma does a complete 180 & becomes coldly frustrated with her, even declaring that he considers her a BULLY. He thinks her calling him out on being incapable of emotion is a total blow below the belt, which confesses to us, the reader, that he considers this to be a defect.

Even if Dōma's unfeeling nature was advantageous to him as a demon, he has never expressed gratitude towards it. If anything, he seems to lament on it & moreso on the fact that he's not even capable of properly feeling sad about his defeat & imminent death. Dōma thinks of himself as defective for the fact that he is unempathetic and that's why he's gone to such extends to hide it. That he was 'born with an inability to feel' is a product of his own comprehension & the conclusion he has reached while growing up as an emotionally stunted child whose feelings were often deemed inappropriate or weren't allowed to be expressed.

Dōma tells us himself that he thought of his upbringing as a problematic situation, but he has given his own explanation as to the reasons why. Naturally, since he's never had anyone that could look into his past with empathy & care (not saying that he'd deserve that at this point, of course) his explanation, the one he gave as a CHILD at the time, is the only one he has to believe in. Truth is something subjective. Dōma didn't know why he was crying; he might as well have been crying as an instinctive reaction to being trapped in an uncomfortable situation.

Being a child, his own needs should have been prioritized in the eyes of his parents. Instead, he was put on a chair, adorned with garments that could barely fit him ( another symbolism of how brutally unfitting it was for a child to be put in such a situation ) and made to listen to people's psychological burdens on the daily whilst being under-equipped to handle the toll. Add to that having to lie & recite things he knew were not truth, being deprived of the warm nurturing environment a child needs to develop properly and mature. He was forced into EMOTIONAL LABOR at a very young age. Him becoming detached from others was only expected.

And it bothers him. It bothers him in the same way that Akaza was bothered by the guilt of having been 'too weak' to salvage his loved ones, it traps him in a state similar to Gyutaro permanently striving to protect Ume, which he failed to do in his human life. Like all Upper Moons, Dōma is also a suffering soul.

Hello all, this is gonna be long. When I get into something I tend to drop canon and play around in the world's background so none of these have much to do with actual canon characters. I won't go into detailed story specifics to save a little space.

Part 1: Sengoku era (ages listed as of 1600)

Nanbu Kisuke (南部 喜介) - 1548-[???] - 52

no canon image

Took in Genba, Raisho, and Ujizane over the years as apprentices when their families were killed. Taught them swordsmanship and how to kill demons, basic first aid, etc. Refuses to acknowledge them as sons but fulfills the role of adoptive father nonetheless.

Fiercely anti-samurai; disgraced former member of the Nanbu clan. Ronin in an age where that was almost as dangerous as demon hunting. “No gods, no masters, just me and this sword I found” type of guy.

Disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1593. Later reappeared as a demon, leading his students to swear an oath to kill him.

Toumomi Raisho  (友美 来章) - 1569-1600 - 31

(first one's mine, 2nd one's a comm from @azreto who i highly recommend)

Hair: silver, Eyes: gold, Scars: parallel dimple scars, Height: 5'11 (180 cm)

Orphaned twice. His family were unlucky silk producers; his facial scars are from a skirmish they fled when he was a toddler. As a boy, his parents were killed in a bandit raid, and he was taken in by his sister and her husband. In his early adolescence, his sister's family was killed by a demon, and he was taken in by Kisuke.

Killed in 1600 by Utsubyou.

Clever and mischievous, artistic and charismatic. Finds great amusement in getting reactions out of people. He likes things that flow, monsoons, and colors. He also likes experimenting with clothing, but that tends to be a luxury he doesn't have access to.

Myo-o Ujizane (明王 氏真) - 1571-[???] - 29

(both mine)

Hair: black, Eyes: black/red, Scars: shoulder, back, legs, Demon crest: facial spiral, Height: 6' (183 cm)

Only son of a family of bamboo cutters. He was attacked by a demon on his way home from marking out a grove and barely escaped with his life, however, when he got home, the demon had already slaughtered his family, and been killed by Kisuke. Kisuke took him to his home for Raisho and Genba to treat his injuries, and then returned to bury Uji's family. Yue, his closest friend, arrived at the graves and presumed him dead; they didn't reunite until their early 20s.

A devout Buddhist. He and Raisho & Genba chose their own surnames at age 15 with Kisuke's guidance.

Became a demon in 1600 in the same clash that killed Raisho & Genba.

Beautiful, serene, but awkward. Unskilled at interpersonal relationships; prone to long silences. Deeply thoughtful and loyal to his chosen people. He favors greens and grays.

Hijikata Genba (土方 玄蕃) - 1573-1600 - 27

(first mine, 2nd that comm from @azreto again, 3rd mine)

Hair: chestnut, Eyes: chestnut, Scars: 2 thin scars across the face ear-to-ear, 1 vertical scar left of the mouth on the chin, 1 diagonal scar on the forehead from mid right eyebrow to temple, Tattoo: white crane, chrysanthemums, fog, setting sun, Height: 5'9 (175 cm)

Lived with Kisuke the longest; he found him on the outskirts of a battle scavenging what was left behind. He doesn't remember ever having a family; he was likely sold by his parents to settle a debt.

Killed in 1600 by Utsubyo

Picked up a taste for sake young, but it hasn't interfered with his swordsmanship. Messy and unmannered, but fiercely loyal and surprisingly kind. Has a very attuned perception when it comes to nature and patterns, but is blunt to the point of rudeness. Shaggy and rough around the edges.

Makino Yue (牧野 由依) - 1573-1612 - 27

Hair: light brown, Eyes: dark brown, Scars/etc: none

Ujizane's closest childhood friend. If things had gone differently, she would have been his wife. She loved him desperately, and was heartbroken when she believed him dead, but recovered in time and married someone else. Her and her husband have issues with conceiving.

When she reunites with Uji when they're older, she's already married. She befriends the trio, and helps them with their own apprentice.

Sweet and frank, fiercely practical, and prone to oddball ideas. In desperate need of an heir, she approaches Raisho (and the other 2) behind her husband's back, hoping to quietly find a solution for their difficulties. It works, but if she hadn't gotten extremely lucky in her choice of husband, it could have gone very, very badly.

When the trio die, she and her husband take in Mikinosuke as a member of the household.

Dies in childbirth with her 3rd (Mego)

Children: Kaya, Yoshinao, Mego

Mizuharu Mikinosuke (瑞治 幹之輔) - 1585-1653 - 15

(first mine, second another commission from @azreto im serious yall go give him money he's so good) (yes i know it says 15 but he meets demon uji in his early thirties so there)

Hair: black, Eyes: oversaturated blue, Motif: Koi, Height: 5' 10 (178 cm)

An orphan of war that Raisho took in. Trained in swordsmanship by the trio, until their deaths in 1600, when he moved in with Yue's family.

He encountered Demon!Uji in his early thirties, and spared him out of grief and guilt. An anonymous letter he received later gave him the location of Raisho & Genba's graves.

Took a wife arranged for him by Yue's husband; Koike Omiko. Though their relationship starts out stiff, they warm up to each other easily, and have a quiet but loving marriage.

Utsubyou (鬱病) - [???]-1600 (???)

Hair: indigo, Eyes: midnight blue, Demon crest: wings, facial spots

Plague demon. Preferred MO is finding a small village and hiding in the outskirts, poisoning the water and picking off the unwanted until everyone is too ill or incapacitated to stop him, and then feasting. Sleepy and morose, lazy, but territorial.

Kills Genba and Raisho in 1600 when they trespassed into his village. Raisho's final blow was just barely fatal, causing Utsubyou to bleed out faster than he could regenerate. When this blood contaminated Ujizane's wounds, he became a demon.

Yes, my style does include ears but only in certain angles!

This is also not just a Manga panel redraw, but also kinda an illustration of a Tanjiro C.AI bot made by Shikibaki that I played around with as Zakiko

Side note; this takes place LOOOOONG before the swordsmith village arc, like all the way back in season 1, so that's why Nezuko still has her iconic muzzle. Besides, I just miss seeing her with it as I'm sure everyone else does

Drawing Nezzy's face was really fun, she's so cute

So, Zakiko is out & about at night & spots the Kamado siblings heading back to their abode. They talk for a little bit, Nezzy is all sweet with her, & she eventually offers to go with them until they get back home as a means of protection since Nezuko can't help him out forever & Tanjiro is still very much a rookie as of when this takes place. I like to think that Nezuko grows on Zakiko pretty quickly & sees her as sorta a mom or big sister figure sometime after the hashira meeting. That's mostly due to Urokodaki's hypnosis & the fact she genuinely likes her & thinks she's a good person. Full-demons & half-demons gotta stick together, I guess. So, Mitsuri would be a big sister figure while Zakiko is the mom figure

Anyways, she eventually talks about Michi & Yorii since Tanjiro has no idea who they are, or were, & also no idea (not yet, anyways) that Zakiko is actually a half-demon. So, when she starts getting reminiscent, Tanjiro says how she's a good person for missing them that much & so she's reminded of Yoriichi in that moment. She even sees a vision of Tanj as Yoriichi after that for a second, too

Considering how, back at the meeting, their first interaction was a bit rough (Her gripping onto his hair while Obanai keeps him pinned down), this vision & his words & just overall love they, mostly Nezuko, have for her, her usual scary & intimidating demeanor does a complete 180 to soft & kind. That's when she just ruffles his hair as a way of showing her thanks

Bet you never seen Zakiko this gentle before, have ya? It just proves she IS capable of acting like it to anyone other than Kokushibo

Hiii sorry for no updates. Hopefully tomorrow you all will be seeing some process, I was going to start today but sadly I got the news that my kny box was cancelled due to bad shipping management. I won’t order it online anymore and buy it locally for 180$ which is still a good price for it wince the original was 300$. I am playing my card and make sure I have everything settled, I also have the chance to get a sword I’ve been wanting for MONTHS for so fucking cheap. But promise that bu tomorrow I’ll start blasting my hand
