Cartoon: Transformers Prime / Robots in Disguise 2015

Characters: Smokescreen, Knock Out, and Bumblebee, with appearances from numerous other characters (even ones not featured in the cartoons)

Synopsis: An Autobot Elite Guard rookie, a Decepticon medic turned Autobot, and an Autobot scout turned warrior turned street cop - three very different bots with a wide range of stories to tell. And we are going to spend the next year exploring said stories through daily-written drabbles, be they angsty, humorous, gut-punching, or just plain odd! Who doesn’t love a challenge? (2016 to 2017)

Subconscious

Everything was black in every direction. The only things Knock Out could see were the two bots accompanying him. "It's a blank landscape, essentially. It won't be blank for long, though."

"Is any of this comparable to what you have experienced with the patch?" Ultra Magnus asked.

"No," Bumblebee said uncertainly.

Knock Out shook his helm. "Again, the similarities between this machine and the patch are rudimentary at best. This machine can examine everything down to our subconscious, things that we ourselves might not even be aware of."

He smirked. "I sure hope neither of you are afraid of your own minds."

Repair Bay

The arena master turned to Knock Out as Arcee was led away. "Thank you, doctor."

"Anything to help Arcee continue in sending your bots to my medbay," the medic replied.

"Yes, in that way, she is one of my favorites. One of the few Autobots willing to behave as any warrior should in the arena."

"Well, it's fortunate you need my medical expertise, or you'd have one more bot to add to your list of favorites," Knock Out said smoothly. "Just inform your 'warriors' that I'm capable of reattaching any severed limbs, so long as you don't happen to misplace any of them."

Somewhat Concerned

"I'll admit, I was rather... concerned when I heard what had happened, especially when Lord Megatron refused to launch a rescue mission." Knock Out turned on his partner, exasperated. "But humans, Breakdown, really?"

"I screwed up big time, and this..." Breakdown tapped at his empty optic socket. "...is gonna remind me not to screw up again."

Knock Out sighed, and nodded. "Well, the important thing is you escaped, and no doubt those humans are now nothing more than stains on the ground. Not like I would expect anything less of you."

"'Course not. It'll take a lot more to put me outta commission."

Wallowing

First Aid muttered agitatedly as Knock Out scanned the patient. "I didn't mean to hurt him... I mean, I was just trying to make him stand down."

"Well, you certainly did that," Knock Out said. "He's not exactly comatose, but he won't be waking up any time soon either. I must say, I'm impressed, an idealistic pacifist like you taking out a comparatively large threat like this."

The nurse pressed a servo against his helm. "I... I didn't think it would... I didn't want to..."

"First Aid, please, if you must wallow in self-pity, could you please wallow somewhere else?"

It's been a while since I last had an order of singlets, but I'm sure that I can find an old one of mine that you can borrow. A nimble fella like yourself should look into bulking up a bit - especially if you want to be in action on the team!

Almost forgetting about the odd exchange at the gym until you were about to go to bed, you pulled the singlet out of your gym bag. You had a strange memory of being asked for something in return, but your mind went blank whenever you thought of what it was… nevertheless, feeling the fabric in your hands, you thought it would only be right to give the singlet a try on your next visit to the gym.

When the day came, your heart wanted to start racing as the tight fabric stretched across your legs and torso, but it never came. With a feeling of disappointment, both in yourself and the singlet itself, you realised that you didn't feel or look like the hot wrestlers you lusted after. Determined, and somewhat inspired by all of the 'New Year New You' content that had been everywhere this month, you took out your phone and snapped a pic for yourself. Clear that if you dared to share the image on social media, the ridicule from your friendship group would make you leave you even more crushed.

With a deep sigh, you pulled on a big hoodie and shorts, dumped two extra scoops of protein powder into your cup, and connected your headphones to the gym speaker system before leaving the locker room.

Within the first fifteen minutes, you started to feel the strangest effects surge through you. You could only compare it to being over-caffeinated, but you felt pure energy and confidence surging through you like electricity re-charging a battery. Smashing your last set, you pulled off your hoodie as you walked over to the water fountain for a break, and caught your reflection in the mirror. You don't have to worry about your friends any more - if anyone is doing the crushing, it's you.

Before you were possessed by Lady Bone Demon, you would beg MK to let you tag along so you could see Red Son. Whenever you see him, you are sighing with hearts. MK looks at you with a concerned look but on the other hand, its what makes it easier for him to try to get Red Son on they're side.

So MK comes back from training with Monkey King and the gang comes to save him, you are crying about how Demon Bull King took over. He still his goofy self when doing it of course but is careful of you.

After Demon Bull King is defeat, you quickly and tightly hug Red Son but he tries his best to push you off. Of course, he leaves with his parents, looking over his shoulder to see you smiling and blushing at him.

Only for you to go missing.

That's the reason why he stays in the city, because he is looking for you while MK is training with Monkey King. When he sees you - though possessed with Lady Bone Demon - the reality of the situation hits him like a tone of bricks. He hopes his cure for spiders will help, but it doesn't

He becomes obsessed with trying to find a cure for you, to get you free of the Lady Bone Demon. So when you are finally free and he sees you being carried by Macaque, he very quickly pulls you out of his arms.

"Fuck off, scumbag!"

Maybe his langue wasn't your cup of tea but holy fucking shit your heart is doing laps.

Red Son is holding you holy fucking shit.

You snuggle into his embrace and his grip on you becomes tighter. He is never going to let you out of his sight ever again.

When everything is fixed, he gives you a week to be with MK before taking you back to his family home. If MK comes around looking, he won't be able to find you unless you ask to see MK.

He kisses you all over your face and holds you close, telling you that he loves you and will never ever let anything back happen to you ever again.

His parents sometimes look over, seeing him have you sit on his lap and feeding then look back at each other with concerned looks. If they thought you were overly affectionate, then imagine what their thoughts about their son.
