Do you have any bilingual headcanons for natewyn and krisper and how they get eacj other out of an overworking mode?

Oh this is something I’ve not thought about for the characters at all. I have a friend who’s native language isn’t English, so sometimes when she gets stressed, or just experiences a high emprunt of emotions, she sometimes speaks in her native language.

I feel like for Natewyn it’s all about words. Through the hours they spent communicating over the phone during OOUIL, to the hours they spent doing it again when Bronwyn was away at Yale, Nate has figured out how to calm Bronwyn down by just speaking to her. I love their relationship so much because they don’t need to physically be with eachother in order to comfort one another. Nate knows exactly what to say, and when to say it. I also feel like he’s learned a little bit of Spanish in order to help comfort her, and to help understand what it is that’s overwhelming her.

For Cooper and Kris, it’s totally the opposite. Cuddles, cuddles, and more cuddles. You get the drift. Kris is a very emotional character, in my opinion, and I feel like he just needs to have cooper’s arms wrapped around him, and they just sit there in silence, as Kris says whatever he needs to. Cooper isn’t the best when it comes to speaking German, but he is on top of his duolingo! 😂 He’s the perfect boyfriend who just listens, hugs, and gives perfect forehead kisses, despite Kris being taller than him.
