For those who don't know, this is massive because as long as they've been with GMMTV, Krist and Singto always had separate managers. Krist with Yui, Singto with Jane (who has had cameos in some of Singto's series, maybe most famously the guy at their office cafe in SOTUS S).

I've heard TayNew also went under one manager recently, so I think it was likely a condition of Singto's return to GMMTV that he sign under Yui. Which is wild because these managers do what we'd consider in the States to be the work of agents, so they have a major contribution to what happens in their artists' careers.

In my wildest fantasies I never imagined Yui as Singto's manager. I love Jane, but wow.

love seeing older meta of sotus and bmf. both shows are very deeply important to me, and thematically interesting to delve into. it’s too bad a lot of the meta is very bad (or not even trying) at disguising their distaste for krist. the meta that points at the casting choices elevating bmf - interesting. i think there’s a lot to discuss on the topic. the way krist and aye had just been in a romance together, and gawinkrist seemed really “random” at the time is similar to how kawi thinks things should go one way, only for something else to happen, and for that thing to be great. or the way kawi was hounded by the media about his sexuality.

but the inherent sort of implication it works so well because krist is easily “unlikable”? people implying krist is opposed to playing intimacy with men, and that means he can’t act? (haha, what I find hilarious is that krist himself isn’t like that. maybe what you’re seeing in “intimacy hating” is, you know, his character? the one he’s acting as? maybe arthit wipes his mouth after a kiss with kongpob because that’s how arthit is! not because of your preconceptions about krist) it’s infuriating! and i’m not naming names but let’s just say, i’m hoping everyone shuts the fuck up about their negativity surrounding krist when his next project, probably announced next month, is airing. I’m sick of it.

I know it hasn't been long since Only Friends ended but I am ready for a JoJo comeback he has given a couple little hints on X what his next project will be but I can't wait to (hopefully) find out next month based on how much he interacts with them I really do think we are getting a JoJo x JimmySea series

yeah we got 8 school themed shows in part 1 so I really hope part 2 will give us something different lol, that being said a Jojo x JimmySea collab would definitely be something I'm ready for because we all know Jojo's shows are the opposite of high school bls lmao. I haven't heard anything about the JS rumor though since it started circling so who knows. as far as I know he said he will have 2 projects for part 2 so..... I will be looking respectfully 👀

PerthChimon will likely have another show and even though I don't like them together I think with the right script + crew they could redeem themselves so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

But also I'm definitely ready for at least one more GL, the pairing-possibilities are endless lol. I'm advocating for my girl Ciize to get a main role because she deserves it 🥺

I never really noticed how absolutely toxic some BL fans are... esp on Dramalist.

I feel like it didn't used to be this way cuz I've always used this site for my drama knowledge but I feel like now I'm just seeing hate and rumors being spread.

Maybe this is just because I've been looking at the GMMTV 2024 pt 2 shows (trying to figure out which ones sound interesting to me) and since they're not out yet ppl are just being crazy in the comments but idk.

Like all I wanna do is see if people are excited for the new Gem4th and FirstKhao (just watched The Eclipse and fell in love immediately) shows and the KristSingto comeback... why do I have to see all this unnecessary nastiness???

hello hello! been a while but i’m back to say that the gmmtv2024 part 2 announcements have me in a chokehold!

first off, KRISTSINGTO is back!!! i literally teared up when i saw they were paired up again! i’m so happy singto’s back 😭 the holy trinity is back yall!! their series looks like sotus mains broke up and are getting back together 🤭 lmaooo anyway the story arc for their series looks soo good i can’t wait for it!

Firstkhao & Joongdunk series is gonna be INSANEEEEE! the way i kept gasping at every announcement & trailer is crazy! this one is definitely gonna be something and i need it nooowwww! the fact that Joong and Khao are playing siblings?! ughhhhh lets gooo im so ready to see the steaminess from this series yall already firstkhao are killing it right now, i haven’t seen a series with Joongdunk yet but im looking foward to seeing their chemistry cause based off that trailer? ooof!

Earthmix is giving me comedy and that series is gonna be so good too!! lmaoo i can’t wait for them to comeback as well! this trailer had me dying and the story plot is soooo good! i love that we have an older protagonist seeking out Earth’s character! this one’s gonna be interesting oh p.s. & they were roommates 😏 lmaoooo

lastly, BOUNPREMMMMM!! so i saw that bounprem joined the gmmtv fam & i could not be happier!!! they’re one of my fav couples as well and im excited for their new journey with gmmtv! i only hope they’re taken care of extremely well and the success they’re about to receive is gonna be overwhelming but something they won’t be able to handle ❤️ im excited for their series as well as it’s something different than ive seen in a BL but we getting bounprem so i already know they’re gonna kill it!

**firstkhao mafia romcom directed by p'jojo - fk have a series confirmed by khao himself, and all their interactions with p'jojo ever since that first sus ig story makes this one almost 100% confirmed for me (maybe not all the details exactly, but fk with p'jojo at the very least).

**estwilliam cp debut - ALL THE DETECTIVE WORK HAS CONVINCED ME, after greatinn and thorfluke were successfully sussed out before part 1, i have faith that this is gonna come true too 🙏

**KRISTSINGTO COMEBACK - YOU DON'T JUST BRING BACK SINGTO WITHOUT EVERYONE CALLING FOR THIS and there's nothing gmmtv loves more than the big bucks so we all know this is happening 😌

perthchimon non-school bl directed by p'aof - i will happily take them in whatever capacity we get but i'd love to see them with p'aof in a more mature setting + with a solid good plot

perth in a bl with a different cp partner - i love perthchimon and i love dangerous romance with all my heart, but i also love mixing and matching all the blorbos and i'd love to see perth opposite some others (gmmtv would give us ohmperth if they weren't cowards)

a platonic friendship-based show - i just wanna see a really good friendship group (which we can make gay in the headcanons anyway lol) and put them in situations, whether it be crime fighting, trouble making or anything in between honestly

Leap Day - Aside from being a babii and a Gun Atthaphan protector, I've recently come to like Pond lately. The premise is intriguing and I'm excited to see Gun play an autistic character!

Ossan's Love TH - EARTHMIX GOT HARUMAKI DOWN TO A PAT. Not to mention a veteran actor acting alongside our Earthmix to complete my old men yaoi recipe!!!

Us The Series - I'VE RALLIED FOR EMI TO BE CAST IN A WLW SERIES EVER SINCE I SAW HER ACT. THE SEVERE CASE OF GAY FACE SHE HAS, UR HONOR. the trailer was also shot beautifully and the actresses's chemistry is really good.

The Heart Killers - I see the vision. I see 10 Things I Hate About You. I see FirstKhao being insanely hot and horny for each other again. I see Jojo Tichakorn conceptualising this after working with FKT the first time. I see JoongDunk in a new light. I am simply too seated.

The Dark Dice - As a fan of the genre, I guess I'll be watching. I kinda want their first death game show to be queer though but since this is Gem and Prim, no questions asked! And most importantly, Aungpao employment! I've missed him too much.

Thinking about the Mock-Trailer for The Ex-Morning

Pathapi is said to be the Best Reporter of the Year in the beginning. How. I want to know his career accomplishments so badly? I need to know how he got here!

I’ve been considering why Pathapi acts the way he does in the beginning. Has he always been like, since his university days? Or was it perhaps heartbreak and the passage of time that’s made him more like this? 

Aou is being made to play the exasperated best friend in Be My Favorite and the rival with coffee thrown on him in The Ex-Morning. Someone give both characters a raise. And a boyfriend!

I looooove the trope of the arrogant, whiny jerkass in a successful position who gets humbled. And that paired with him rebuilding his reputation with his ex-boyfriend of all people? I am so ready to see Pathapi’s character arc, and the things Tamtawan makes him do in this trailer makes me think he’ll get more in-tune with the spirit of good reporting and why it’s so important.

How does Tamtawan know and decide to come back? Obviously, he wants to help Pathapi and is still in love with him, but why did he leave? WHY DID HE LEAVE? Later in the trailer, when present-day Tamtawan leaves, it’s after he’s told “Tam. You have two options now.” What are the two options? The way Tamtawan leaves and the look on his face makes him look regretful, but what exactly is motivating him trying to leave here? Why did he leave in the first place? Does Pathapi know? His face looks half confused rather than just heartbroken!

What has Tamtawan been up to? I am intrigued.

The SOTUS reference in their university days flashback? I am obsessed. They were so sweet in that one frame, it makes me wonder how they fell in love. How different were they? How much of the same remains in them? How did they fall in love? Oh my god!

The transition from Pathapi being awkward with shirtless only-clothed-in-a-towel Tamtawan to taking his own shirt off and asking if Tamtawan has an ulterior motive to fluster him is hilarious to me. I love how forward Pathapi is here! And Tamtawan getting flustered is amazing. Oh my god, I love this trailer. It balances a comedic tone, angst, tension, etc all in one show. Can’t help but adore it.

“You’re still the same selfish jerk.” I need to know what happened! I said this above and I’m saying it again. I am intrigued.

Uni Tamtawan pulling Pathapi by his tie? I am obsessed.

The umbrella scene is both so very P’Lit and so very much a SOTUS reference, it delights me. I wonder how many SOTUS references we’ll have in the show proper.

I wonder if the car accident will coincide with the climax of the show.

That! Last! Scene! I suppose this is a scene when they’re hooking up but not properly together, seeing as they’re flirting, shirtless, and probably just had sex, but still won’t admit they still like each other. This sounds great to me.

I’ve mostly not talked about the meta elements here, because I feel it’s less about the contents of the actual trailer and more about the nature of the series as such a KristSingto RPF-type plot. Anyway, I love it. Everything about the meta of this series is perfect to me, and exactly what I wanted. This show is SO fun to think about when you know about the lore of KristSingto in real life. I’m half expecting Tamtawan to have hazed Pathapi at this point!

Side note that is not a side note: I LOVE THEIR ACTING! I love their characters!

Is this vers? I’m going to say it’s vers or Top Krist until proven wrong, because that last scene? Well. Let’s put the KristSingto into the KristSingto.

I love the small cast and the focus on KristSingto! I just need to say this. I am so excited for this comeback, in-part because it really is just Tamtawan and Pathapi’s story.

Tamtawan is supposed to mean “follow” and “sun” whereas Pathapi means earth/soil/ground. Coming off of KongArt, where Arthit is obviously “sun,” and KristSingto, who compare themselves to the sun and moon, this seems so definitely meaningful. Aof and Lit, I need to know what you’re cooking! 

The coals scene is sooooo perfect, both for the characters AND KristSingto themselves. Again bringing it back to the meta of it all, but, oh my god? This is perfect? Aof wrote a screenplay that was KristSingto RPF? On that note, I keep thinking about the idea of KristSingto channeling their feelings from the irl work-partner “break up” and it makes me go a little crazy. Especially with Krist talking about all his efforts to bring Singto back, and how he over-thought it when Singto left. And even more so seeing as they say they’re basically playing themselves.

The lyrics of the song used in the trailer are so fitting, I am now looping it and thinking about Pathapi and Tamtawan forever and ever.

I noticed that Tamtawan goes by “Tam” but did I miss it for Pathapi in the trailer, or do we get no indication of his nickname? I’m curious.

The “Begin Again” for the new Peraya Party speaks to both KristSingto and their new characters, and this is again making me go, oh god it’s true they’re just playing themselves.

I said my ideal KristSingto BL was a vers exes-to-lovers that parallels reality. Evidently, I was not alone.

Is it just me, or do the Pathapi + animals and Pathapi + soil degradation water scenes feel a lot like certain episodes of Friendship with KristSingto? Just me? Maybe it’s just Krist. I love him so dearly.

So much is revealed in this trailer, but that somehow makes me more intrigued about what is not being revealed to us?

Krist still goes for the top lip and Singto still goes for the bottom lip when they kiss. This kills me every time. I am so excited to see lovey-dovey Tamtawan and Pathapi!

i dont know if you know the answer to this, but is there any set rules or logic for gmm's official bl couples and does it actually mean they'll have future projects together or is it mostly only for promos/events?? I don't follow all the gmm actors but it seems like some haven't worked as a bl pairing in aaages but are still considered a 'couple' so it doesn't seem to be a strong indicator they'll act as a bl couple again...

I do not know the answer to that but I sure want to lmao.

gmm has a set of "official" pairings that have at least one show together and then either make a comeback with another show (i.e. offgun, earthmix, pondphuwin etc.) or they retire and become a brand, rather than an onscreen couple (i.e. brightwin, taynew, ohmnanon), who make money off of events, merch and what not but don't exchange dna on screen anymore.

they have their "4 pillars" which are offgun, taynew, brightwin and kristsingto, who are kind of the OGs and the flagships of the company but none of them act together anymore (offgun were the last to retire with Not Me last year). So now all they do is serve as a brand for the company, attend tons of events, hold fanmeetings, concerts, sell merch etc. And don't ask me why but it works very well. these people are a-list superstars.

Since the bl stuff, specifically the official pairings, are the selling point of the company, I find it hard to imagine that they would keep their artists from doing as many projects as possible together, so whether or not the actors continue to act together is most likely up to them (and incoming projects). Some of them have declared that they want to distance themselves from the couple-association and some of them are still going.  

I have no idea how these things work but I would pay a fortune to see one of these contracts lmao.

But honestly, when I saw the pilot trailer with him and Mike - the title of the series was "You Are My Favorite" at the time, I wasn't excited enough to save the date of the premiere of the series because I thought that they didn't have the chemistry to be a couple (sorry Mike) So I just ignored it and waited 'til the series was over.

I used to didn't like watching series every week because of how dragging it felt, but with my experience watching the Bad Buddy series, I loved the excitement that comes with it!

So, I forgot about the series. Fast forward four months, I suddenly remembered Krist and this series. I couldn't even remember the title so I had to look up his list of series. I was surprised that Mike had been recast. I did feel sad because he would’ve finally had a lead role for a BL. I actually looked up for the reason why he was recast but the GMMTV didn’t really give anything away. I hope he’s doing well and will be given a lead role in the future.

So, without a second thought or even looking at the new trailer (I actually watched it after I finished all the episodes), I watched the series that night and WOW! I'm really glad that Krist was paired up with Gawin - they had great chemistry! They’re better than KristSingto in my opinion! I watched the series for 2 nights and it was perfect! THIS IS MY NEW HYPERFIXATION NOW!

I wish they'd have more projects together, I'd love to see more of them!!!

gmmtv 2024 part 2 roster, in approximate order of how excited i am about them:

The Heart Killers: YES. soooooo good for me. silly romcom mafia shakespeare plot! dressing everyone up in little outfits! enemies-to-lovers standoff to makeout! love that it's 90s teen movie shakespeare but with more murder. love that this time first and dunk are the ones pursuing khao and joong. delighted p'jojo is directing, he knows exactly what he's doing and he's right for it.

The Ex-Morning: being halfway through watching SOTUS for the first time is an extremely funny time to watch the kristsingto rpf-lite comeback special trailer. it looks good! i love the concept of exes-to-collaborators-to-lovers even before you add in the rpf parallels of it all. p'aof generally does really solid shows and i have no reason to think this won't live up to expectations.

Friendshit Forever: title so stupid it wraps back around into being genius. looks toxic and fun. i will say that if gmmtv wants to yuribait me this hard in the trailer i hope they at least have the decency to yuribait me in the show as well. (real story: when i downloaded the trailers to rewatch i initially ended up with the subtitles from 'Us' playing over the scene where mook and pat meet and for a beautiful moment i lived in a world where there were two gl shows on the 2025 roster.)

Us: the trailer doesn’t give me a great sense for what the actual, uh, plot is. i do appreciate that they found an excuse to have them kiss shirtless in the trailer. the nominal cyrano-esque plot (plus the trite “can two women love one another”) doesn’t feel that interesting but i presume the actual show will have more to it than just that. please i just need a gl that’s well-executed and not about high schoolers (patiently waiting for Pluto….)

Ossan's Love: looks extremely cringe, but….in a charming way? maybe? going to watch regardless because it's earthmix, may go watch the original to get a better idea of what the hell the vibe is supposed to be.

Hide & Sis: feels like it could be campy and fun or could be just bad, but optimistic that it’s the former.

The Dark Dice: okay, so it’s…..jumanji crossed with an escape room crossed with squid game for teenagers? sure i can get behind that. the trailer looked pretty good for being (i assume) relatively low-budget and low-effort.

Revamp: The Undead Story: looks a little silly but very likely in a fun way. (why are there so many vampire shows this year? was there something in the water?)

Thame-Po: okay, so this is a show about a boyband…..where the members are played by gmmtv’s actual boyband? this feels like another instance of rpf lite but less in a fun way and more in a way where i’m a little concerned for these teenagers about fan engagement bleedover. but it did look cute and there are opportunities to go a little meta about the whole thing.

Leap Day: intrigued to watch gun in a role where he actually has things to do

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist: i think ohm and mark have really fun energy and i badly wanted to like their show, but it looks. SO bad. will watch at least an episode and hope it's better than the trailer made it look but good god.

Break-Up Service: another one that....could be fun or bad, but probably just bad.

Scarlet Heart: was that a trailer or a perfume ad? i guess this is an adaptation and we're supposed to be familiar with the original, slash they didn't have time to film an actual trailer before the event? isekai time travel could be fun in theory but the reverse harem thing does not entice me. pass.

Perfect 10 Liners: you know the bit in Lovely Writer where the show-within-a-show is Bad Engineer, and it's funny because it could literally be any BL that takes place in a university engineering faculty? Lovely Writer is three years old now and we're just still doing this apparently. why are there thirty episodes? did they just decide to toss all the pairs they didn't have a better idea for into the most generic setting possible and cross their fingers? hard pass.
