Little things I liked/thought were funny/want to yell into the void about (but not in a bad way) in the first Nicktoons Untie game and only the first one because it's the only one I've actually played part of and I'm biased. SPOILERS ABOUND!

the fact that said call doesn't have Crocker in it+the camera movements being janky like a person was holding it as opposed to a robot, so one could infer that Crocker was holding the camera for the Big Plan Reveal To The Heroes TM

I just think Jorgen would let Timmy keep his fairies even outside of the whole crossover spinoff games because like. How many fucking times have they had to save the world. From something Timmy didn't make to begin with. Anyways

The Doomsday Device has four comically large wall plugs, which are probably color coded to each of the members for each world being siphoned

Everybody talks about Jimmy and Timmy dating, Danny and Spongebob being besties, and the different roles each person plays in the squad's general relationship dynamics, but I wanna know what those Middle-Aged Scientifically-Minded GOOBERS known as the Syndicate had going on while they weren't getting their asses kicked

I'm not even talking about shipping I just want to know what those conversations were like.

Like. Plankton wants a sandwich recipe. His key to ruling Bikini Bottom is a really good burger, but the others might not understand that Krabby Patties are the glue of Bikini Bottom society and therefore an important political piece. How does this fact play off the other villains

Vlad and Plankton seem comfortable finishing Calamatus' sentences for him already and don't really seem annoyed so they must be at least a little friendly with him

Vlad's little run into the portal after his boss fight is actually pretty well done considering the rest of the jank in the animations

Spongebob lets himself be sprayed down in (what is to him) a mystery substance made by a stranger

Spongebob (29) becomes the manager of Krusty Krab 2 and is happily still serving satisfied customers the way he always has done. He still finds time to hang out with his friends and unintentionally annoy Squidward while working on his driver's license, still.

Danny (22) continues to be the hero he is for both races, protecting humans from troubled ghosts, which he'll help them out as peacefully as he can. He may or may not have a position saved on the throne in the ghost zone.

Jimmy (19) refuses to serve the government with his inventions and only accepts deals from organizations who truly intend to preserve and improve the world with his help. Sometimes he does freelancing by providing assistance with his works to anyone who may reach out to him through his family and friend's connections.

I don't know if I should have sent this, but I have no one to tell about my AU, so here it is. Mermaid AU, where all the characters are mermaids and the action takes place in the underwater world, I made this universe from the category of "why not?", so it is not fully thought out, the plot in Mer!Lackadaisy is similar to the comic, but instead of alcohol they they sell human things (or cat things???), I couldn’t think of another alternative to alcohol, I didn’t choose alcohol because for me it somehow doesn’t fit with mermaids, okay, let’s move on to the next one, instead of the Lackadaisy bar they have a sunken ship under called Lackadaisy, something like that. Here are characters as mermaids here

1. Rocky: Dolphin, I decided that just mermaids with scaly tails were boring, so I decided to base them on real sea animals, it’s more interesting, I decided that Rocky would be a dolphin, because dolphins are smart and dexterous, and they’re also funny, like Rocky and dolphins can be cruel and cunning like Rocky so I thought this would be the best option, honestly I can't imagine Rocky as any other sea animal other than a dolphin when I thought of Rocky as a mermaid, it was a dolphin something like that, and well, I also chose a dolphin for Rocky, for some reason, now you’ll understand why

2. Freckle: Tiger Shark, I chose this because it fits Freckle's aggressive side and since dolphins (Rocky) are intimidating to sharks, I think you can see why I chose this option

3. Ivy: Sunflower sea star, I decided to make her like this because she had an orange color in her palette, similar to sunflower sea star, and I chose this option because of the symbolism of the star on her clothes

4. Mitzi: Matano Crab, originally I wanted to make her a jellyfish, but then I changed my mind, I wanted to make a reference to the Krusty Krab

5. Zib: Seahorse, I think it's obvious, but I made him a seahorse because of the saxophone

6. Wick: Narwhal, honestly, I don't know why, I just decided to choose him

7. Victor: Sperm whale, initially I wanted to make a bull shark out of it, but then I chose the sperm whale not only because of its character and large size, but also because sperm whales intimidate killer whales, now you will understand why

8. Mordecai: Killer whale, now you understand why I made Victor a sperm whale, I think there is no need to explain why I made Mordecai a killer whale, this is the only animal that suits him

9. Niko/Serafina: White shark, no explanation needed

10. Asa: Leo Fish, since he was based on a lion, why not? Simply put, a reference to prototype

11. Atlas: White humpback whale, because it is more interesting, and because I associate Atlas with the spirit of the crocodile, so the white humpback whale

As for the rest of the characters, I haven’t figured out who they will be in Mer AU yet

2. 5 favourites of your own work?

i say everything is a hard question… BUT IT’S TRUE! THESE ARE HARD! i like different pieces for different reasons, and favorite doesn’t exactly equate to “best” (which doesn’t matter of course!) BUT. i’d probably wage these guys… and i’ll tell you why below!

this is unequivocally my favorite thing i’ve ever drawn to date for a myriad of reasons! the short of it is: it’s my favorite cartoon of all time, with my favorite cartoon characters of all time, i got to flex my muscles in different mediums, i took my time with it, i’m happy with the little details, it feels believably human, and it’s my love letter to all of my favorite influences. i love it so much that it’s my background on my phone!

i don’t think words will ever be able to accurately describe how much cartoons mean to me. how much being a cartoonist means to me. i especially will never be able to accurately express just how much the work of influences such as Bob Clampett, in this case, have touched me to my core. i do think though that this piece, more so than others, is a particularly effective way at getting those points across. it was definitely made with love, sincerity, and passion, more so than others. it’s a very comforting piece and i think is a very solid representation of me! not that my art is all about me, and i didn’t make this with the intention of appeasing myself in mind, but it is a very “Me” piece, and unapologetically so. i could stand to be much more self indulgent, so it’s nice to have.

this was a redraw of a picture i’d made in my sketchbook in high school! i’d work on it in my AP Literature class over a matter of days, and my friend and i’d talk about setting up our own Krusty Krab restaurant someday HAHA. who knew i’d be doing what i do now!! i love it for that nostalgic connotation alone, but i’m also very happy i got to transform it into what it is. fun perspective! bold lines! my only regret is mistakenly coloring the floor brown instead of green… but i honestly thing it sort of adds to the authenticity? comic halftones took a lot of shortcuts (especially in golden age comics), so i just try to see it through that lens HAHA.

3. i’m a big fan of this for its versatility! i’m happy to have tried something a bit differently than i normally do. it’s stylized and warm, but still true to both the original Rocky and Bullwinkle and to my sensibilities! i’ve gotten a lot of print requests on this one too, which makes me happy

4. i’m very pleased with how bold this is (and for stepping out of my usual menagerie of characters!) i really like how crisp and sharp it feels, but also maintains that sort of warmth and familiarity i’m always striving for. very happy with the poses as well. i know for a fact i was thinking of Frank Tashlin when drawing Max especially!

5. another one i love for nostalgia, as well as loving for representing yet another cartoon very important to me! i’m very fortunate to have drawn many more seasoned Daffys and Porkys since this, but am particularly fond of it seeing as i had drawn this alternative only a YEAR before! it was my first time drawing Daffy! i think it really represents my growth as an artist in such a short amount of time, and i’m eternally grateful that i’ve made even more progress since then. it being a redraw of one of my favorite images of all time helps greatly!

Duela in Titans Secret Files

There are two issues in this series, both 50+ page comics that contain multiple stories. Duela appears in a single page in the first issue, is mentioned briefly in one of the stories in the second issue, and features prominently in another - her first major appearance since the 70s. We’re combining all the stories into this one post.

Issue one was published in 1999. In the relevant story, word has gotten out that the Titans are re-forming, and will be recruiting members.

Duela is expecting to be recruited (spoiler alert: she won’t be). She claims to be the daughter of Doomsday. She’s at a bar, which we’ll come back to later. It’s the best look at civilian Duela that we’ll get in this era, and she looks like a fairly normal, adult woman.

Issue 2 came out in 2000. Her first appearance is on a computer screen, showing a bunch of former Titans that we’re keeping tabs on.

So. This is a very brief appearance, but there’s just...a lot to unpack here. First of all. Over a dozen? I count Joker, Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin, Scarecrow, and Catwoman in the 70s, and in the 90s, Wildebeest and Doomsday. That’s eight. Eight is not a dozen.

Second. If she’s in a mental institution, how was she in a bar in the last issue?

Third. Schizophrenic. Okay. She’s never really displayed any signs of schizophrenia. But more importantly, the book that first calls her schizophrenic being the same book that first portrays her as a villain? I don’t like that. I don’t like that at all.

Fourth. Acrobat? Not that she wasn’t, I guess, but she’s also an inventor, a detective, and a martial artist.

Okay. Moving on.

When our narrator (Bette Kane, fyi) says this shaped almost all of us for the better, I’m pretty sure the person she’s not including in that is Duela.

In this story, Beast Boy and Bette are going to arrive at their apartment to find Beast Boy’s cousin has invited, like, a zillion superheroes over for a Titan’s recruitment drive. It’s basically turned into a wild party, and they’re not pleased. Then Duela crashes.

I do like the balloons. But wow, Beast Boy. That’s mean. And she was a respected member of the Titans when you weren’t, so, like, shut up.

She’s upset that she wasn’t invited. Understandable, since literally everyone else was. Beast Boy’s cousin claimed he tried to invite her, but she was undergoing electroshock therapy at the time. Which is where I express my absolute disgust at the utter lack of sympathy these *heroes* are showing for a former teammate undergoing a mental health crisis. “Psycho.” “Krusty.” “Creepella.” Look, maybe if you could be nice to your schizophrenic friend who’s clearly going through a hard time, she wouldn’t be attacking you right now.

Also worth noting: Duela calls Bette “Ms. Wimbledon” here. This is the same thing Pantha calls Bette, and Pantha is the person Duela claimed to be last time we saw her, in JLA/Titans.

Duela’s brought friends! The one with the empathetic stimulator is a Beast Boy enemy. There’s two of them, actually. I’m not sure if the other guys are with them or Duela. All of them, including the stimulator dudes, are dressed to match Duela, but that may be a coincidence; I haven’t read any of Beast Boy’s other comics yet, and it’s been sort of difficult to track down much information in these guys. (Fear and Loathing.)

Duela’s friends/henchman are dispatched quickly. But not Duela herself, because she’s awesome.

Okay, so it’s not like Duela isn’t coming through with her fair share of name-calling. And she’s got a jack-in-the-box! I love when Duela has gadgets.

So there we have it. Duela’s first major appearance outside the 70s, Duela’s first appearance as a true antagonist, and Duela’s first time being diagnosed as schizophrenic then being called psycho by people who are supposed to be her friends.

Duela’s next appearance will be in about 5 years, in Teen Titans #22, in 2005. We won’t have a dedicated post for that; it’s one of a few issues in 2005-2006 where she appears in the background of big scenes, and I’ll be compiling them in one post.

Do you have any headcanons for Legs? If not, then that’s okay <:)

Oh you better believe I have headcanons, especially for a man like Legs. He's pretty mysterious and doesn't say a lot which gives me the pleasure to make stuff up about him based on the little things we do know from the show. Legs is mysterious, very, he ain't saying nothin, he ain't trustin nobody and the only people he talks to are his close friends. And some of these headcanons are:

Now it's obvious that both him and Louie have been friends with Tony since childhood but I believe, what happened before they met, Legs had his own gang and would usually terrorize other students on the playground of the same catholic school the three were all attending. And one day when Tony witnessed what Legs and his team were doing to a kid, he realized the talent that this young boy has and so he asked if Legs would join his junior mafia. Legs said no at first but after he realized who Tony was the son of, he decided to give the junior mafia a try and what followed after was a long and tight friendship. (I will write a huge origin story one day, with thoughts and my own imagination at play. Because if the writers are not gonna do it then I'll do it myself)

In "Homie the clown" he said that he saw four krustys even after he rubbed his eyes to see straight, (Even though there were only two krustys) which makes me think that he could possibly be short sighted and therefore would wear glasses. Though he doesn't at times when he's at work because according to himself, "No person would ever be afraid of a mobster with glasses." But he does wear them while he's at home.

We obviously know he has a son named "Calves" who appeared in the comics along with Louie's son and Michael. But I choose to see that as non-canon (Since he only came up once in comics, counting as his only appearance and the show never hints to Legs's son), yeah Calves is cute but I don't really see him being Legs's son. Who I do see as his daughter would be Piper from Bossy riot in "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy", she has the same level of mischievousness as Calves does and is pretty extreme in her pranks. She's obviously Legs's daughter, with the way she's already in a sort of gang like friendgroup like Legs once was in his early childhood. (But I admit, calves could also exist in the real show. Though he would be the child of Legs's ex-wife, they divorced because of an affair he went through and so he sort of lost custody over Calves. Calves was also like 2 years old when that happened.) - Despite being so mysterious, he's actually the most kindest of the bunch. And he has been ever since childhood, his usual rambunctious demeanor was just for show and not tell what lies underneath him. But I do admit, he was more wild as a young kid than he is now. That likely changed due to his age but he is more calmer and friendlier than his childhood counterpart. He's the type of guy you can always wend yourself to if you have any problems and he also works as a sort of therapist for the other members, seeing as he has a degree in Psychology that he studied for as a second profession if his plans didn't go through in college. (he's a smart man, like I said)

Now Johnny Tightlips is a capo and Frankie is a soldier, Tony is the underboss and Don vittorio is the actual boss. Other mobsters we see are genuinely just soldiers or associates. Which leaves Louie and Legs to be uncategorized, And they're not really caporegimes either since there's already Johnny, Lefty and Righty in that position. Mafia's usually have three or four capos but I still choose to see Legs and Louie not as such, it just doesn't make sense. They started out with Tony as a small gang with only themselves to trust, it would have made sense if those two were capos back then since the gang was still small and struggling in the east end but as time flew by and more joined, Louie and Legs decided to step down from their capo positions to make room for Lefty and Righty, two more experienced capo's. And so they would stand back and just be hit-men, still involved in Tony's plans and operations.

Their friendship with Tony is what brings me to this conclusion, as capo's they had to spend most of their time outside on the streets with their soldiers, not even being close to Tony. So after Lefty and Righty joined, the two reduced themselves to being hit-men and bodyguards of Tony so that they could stay closer by his side and to protect him. Which would even make sense in reality since the two were never stated to be capo's, in the book Chief Wiggum's Book of Crime and Punishment, Legs is classified as the "Hired Goon" And the police records on the Springfield Mafia describe Legs as a "Gangster/Criminal/Suspicious" type of mobster. It wouldn't make sense for them to be capo's if they are so closely connected with Tony.

You know, Legs is very accompanied with the yakuza and other japanese mafias in springfield and the U.S.A so I feel like he knows a bit of japanese to talk with them. And he probably took karate when he was young.

Apparently in the Simpsons: Tapped out game Legs has 172 swiss army knives and he can't pay his rent because of that, which makes me think that he's got a serious problem. But hey, the man loves knives.

what He also mentioned in Tapped out was that he got a Master's in Fiscal Studies which makes me think Since he's an experienced mob doctor like Tony himself said

He prolly studied another subject if his career as a doctor didn't go as planned. He's a pretty smart dude but still manages to fall for pranks set by other people, including Bart's. (One example is in the hilarious "Homie the clown" when Krusty asked to go the bathroom but actually left the country in reality, Legs said "When He's done in there, I gotta go" (Oh Legs, you sweet innocent man)

We don't even know his real name other than he's known as "Legs" because he's tall? And it can't be Max Legman 'cuz that just sounds like a child made it up, it's probably just an alias he uses when checking into hotels or telling girls in the nightclub to keep his cover. ( He's also shown to be quite the party animal seeing as he has appeared in some scenes like "Homerazzi" and "Flaming Moe's". Man likes to have fun.)

We know he has a slouched back and poor posture, which leaves some options for why it became that way. Maybe a injury to his spine or a disease that formed in his early childhood. I personally believe it could be Scheuermann's Kyphosis that caused his figure to turn out that way, it formed in his early childhood and when he was taken to the doctors because of it they advised for him a back brace since he was still a child and growing. His parents couldn't afford that, neither could they get physical therapy for him, they just barely could get money for pain medication to at least have their son in not all so much pain. But nowadays he got the needed Money to get physical therapy so that his condition isn't gonna get any worse.

I feel like he likes to listen to classical Italian music, opera especially, he's a big fan of Renata Tebaldi and Andrea Bocelli. Though his musical taste often gets in the way of Louie's whenever they are driving in the car, always arguing about what to put on. And sometimes even Tony gets caught in between their squabble, forcing the three to often drive around just sitting in silence.

His favorite dessert is Panna cotta. Which he usually orders when he, Louie, Johnny, Frankie and Tony go to La Coffee Nostra for some afternoon tea break from their work. - he's a professional pool player, just try and challenge him to a match, in the end you will only leave with a broken spirit. - He's honestly such a women magnet, not because it's his manners and ways of treating ladies but because it's also of his looks. (Man's got a good fashion taste) Each time he enters a new club all the ladies just swarm him and treat him to a drink. He often leaves clubs with lipstick marks all over his face. - Since he's the tallest out of everyone in the family, he likes to pick on Frankie and Louie who are the shortest of the bunch. They know it's all just fun and jokes but even they can get annoyed by Legs. Especially when he bends his knees to get down on their eye level to talk with them. Now these are just some of my many headcanons about it, Made for my own enjoyment.
