Last year I read Landscape with a Blur of Conquers by @therestofyourstory (née disasterisms/kylorenvevo) and designed this cover using a painting by Thomas Cole

LWABOC was the most incredible fanwork I've ever read, and while I miss it, I'm so excited and proud that it's being turned into a real life, original, three book series. I can't wait to see what LWABOC has blossomed into!

This scene from "Landscape With A Blur of Conquerors" (chapter 56) by @kylorenvevo got me so hard I had to draw it 😭

Here's the excerpt:

"I'm your family,” Kylo said before he could think better of it. Rey blinked up at him with red-rimmed hazel eyes; he closed his, embarrassed by his own boldness, and he pressed their foreheads together as his next words emerged in a gruff murmur alongside her wet cheek. “We're married. I can be your family.” We can start over. We won't make the same mistakes. Rey began crying even harder, and it was with a sinking sensation in the pit of his stomach that Kylo realized he had somehow made things worse. Is that so much of a surprise? inquired his bitter inner voice. You are a paltry substitute for all that she has lost. But there was nothing he could do except hold her for as long as she let him. And she did, until all of her tears were spent.

Sadly, the author has since private’d the fanfic and is no longer available in AO3. I managed to download it beforehand so if you guys want a copy, DM me and I'll send you one! 😄

I can't tell y'all how amazing this fic is and how much it's helped me through the stress of senior year and this move from hell, and I'm sad about it ending, but I know Thea will gift us with new fic updates and this book, so I'll console myself with that 😅

Last movie: I’m halfway through both The Fellowship of the Ring and Farewell My Concubine. What can I say, I’m a woman of varied tastes. (Incidentally, you could call those movies Farewell My Ring and Fellowship of the Concubine, and both would still be fitting titles.)

Currently watching: This Is Us. And I am Big Mad that the next episode got delayed.

Currently reading: Hunger Pangs by Joy Demorra aka @thebibliosphere and I honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. I don’t even read paranormal romance. Ever. I’m not knocking it as a genre, it’s just not one I’ve ever personally enjoyed. But I trusted Joy’s writing to be excellent because I love her blog so much and I was correct!

Physical books: None lol. I read exclusively on my phone like a Millennial heathen. Also my dog likes to chormp on books, so we have to put them on high shelves, and I’m very short. 

Fics: The Challenge by the lovely @awhiskeyriver, i kill giants by @kylorenvevo, and a social media/text fic on twitter by @hyperphonic that is so funny it has me in stitches. 

Currently craving: Absolutely nothing, which is a problem.
