I love saying your name. I love the way it rolls off my tongue and kisses my lips. It’s soothing and yet exciting.

Slightly exhausted, just a bit tipsy, and on my way to think about Neuvillette's reactions to receiving a genuine compliment. Specifically about his eyes. Because every compliment he's received has always been about some kind of learned behavior - his composure, his eloquence, his authority in court - and never about, well, himself. Especially not his eyes.
No, those were usually met with disdain, fear, or a general uneasiness. Even the most well meaning humans can't hold his gaze for very long - and the list of those that can is even shorter. It's something he's made peace with: catching the Iudex's eye is something most (if not all) Fontainians seek to avoid. Whether it's in the courtroom or on the street, Neuvillette's gaze is cold and impassive; aloof and indifferent to the passing of time around him.
Except..it isn't.
He's observant, curious; he casts a critical eye not in the case of judgement, but for the sake of his own lack of understanding. There's an innocence there -- no, not innocence. Even in your tipsy babbles, you had used the term "inexperience" to describe the heavily veiled emotion there. A barely there hint of softness - one that was most often seen when he spoke with the Melusines and rarely (yet with increased frequency) directed towards you.
Neuvillette finds it...unnerving in a sense. Not in a particularly negative way, but one that brings him a strange sense of calm. Peace bordering on comfort. For someone to notice his mannerisms and behaviors and see them not as the immortal eccentricities of the Chief Justice, but as features that make him who he is...well, he's not exactly sure how to feel about it. Perhaps it's because he doesn't understand how he's supposed to feel about this - about being known in such a rarely intimate way. And perhaps to you it isn't as intimate as it is in his mind (a feeling he hopes isn't as visible as the other emotions you've been able to find in his eyes) but he cannot help but hope that it is.
To have his own questions and curiosities met not with anxiety, but with genuine enthusiasm is already a shift for him. To then be seen by you - known by you - not as the Iudex of Fontaine or even as the Hydro Sovereign but as Neuvillette...he will have to take some time for himself to understand it.
But for now, he'll meet your eyes and give you a slight nod; a small acknowledgment and murmured "thank you" in response to your compliment. For now, he'll just have to hope that his veil of impartiality is enough to continue to hide these thoughts.
For now...for now.

if kylar killed for me i would thank him. he probably knows best (he’s unhinged) (help)
he'd probably have a mental breakdown if you did thank him for it.
deep down, kylar knows what he did was wrong and that you'll hate him for it. he just chooses to shove that knowledge to the back of his mind until karma hits him full force.
so when you thank him for doing something so horrible and morally wrong - he clings to you and unleashes a series of pained, guttural sobs. he's so relieved he can't speak, switching to an entirely non-verbal state due to the overwhelmingness of it all.
you'll continue to cradle him and murmur that you're so proud of him, that you're thankful that he's such a good, protective boyfriend and that you wouldn't trade him for the world! you kiss away his tears and tell him that what he did was right. he was just protecting you! you understand!
once you praise him for killing, you're turning on a murder-machine with no off switch. once he gets over the initial guilt after his first kill (the guilt is soley based upon how you'd react - not that he just KILLED a whole person) he'd tell you allll the gorey details while pumping in and out of all your precious holes.
and he always expects a reward when he comes home all bloody for you...

yk whats really funny to me? people tend to characterize lolbit as highly aggressive, but like.. its not. like genuinely, it doesnt ever kill you. it just.. what, stops you from using stuff?
if anything, its the least dangerous sister location animatronic??
AND its one of the helpful animatronics in fnaf world!! it provides you with all sorts of helpful bytes! and dee dee (also a shopkeeper in fnaf world, and originating from there like lolbit) in the main games is only characterized as a nuisance by fans, not aggressive. if anything dee dee is worse - they dont offer a way for you to stop them like lolbit does, and you have to scramble to figure who the hell was added because they could very well kill you.

What did I just do-
So I told my English teacher ( I don't live in an English speaking country) about the MTP manga right? Cuz like the manga has an old type of English language and the time period is in the late 1800's.
And my teacher is OBSESSED with the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and I told her this was a different take on the story and that you get more insight about Moriarty ( And Liam and Sherly are married, it's true don't even try to deny it.)
So then today, I asked my teacher about it again and she told me she read a few chapters online- and she BOUGHT THE MANGA VOLUME 1-
THIS IS SO- OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT

Corentin ref sheet!
Translation notes:
The first part (with blond Corentin) and the second part (with dark-haired Corentin) had really similar text with just a few small wording differences. I tried to catch the differences where I could, but I still feel like I might have missed a few connotative nuances.
"Uncle-like figure" was literally translated as "uncle"--I'm guessing they just meant it in a sort of metaphorical sense, so I put "uncle-like figure." Something like "older man" or "moderately-aged man" might have been a more natural English translation.
I'm still not 100% sure what they're saying with the note on the cloak's symbol. From context, I think the choice that the writer is referring to is using the Ministry symbol vs. the Hyzante national symbol, but the wording makes it sound like they're discussing a choice between the Ministry symbol vs. any symbol that will show up on the smaller pixel sprites. I feel like I might have misunderstood something there, but I couldn't figure out exactly what it was.
More of a fun fact, but "Hyzante" was sometimes translated over as "High Sand"--the wordplay hadn't occurred to me before, so it was kinda interesting!

Hello Teruteru Hanamura. I've been thinking about this for a while, and well when I searched about it on your blog it didn't appear.
So I'd like to ask, what do you think of people who age regress to cope with childhood trauma? You can just be honest.
And if one of your significant others do those things or wants you to be a carer for a while (like temporary), how would you react?
I am curious about this.
“Well, hon, since ya went and specifically told me to be honest— though I try to be anyways o’ course— I’ll be candid in full. I ain’t an expert there. Don’t know a whole lot, ain’t my personal copin’ strategy, ain’t been met with this particular hypothetical before.
That said, I don’t see no harm in age regressin’ as a copin’ mechanism. Ain’t hurtin’ nobody, so I think if that works for ‘em, then that’s perfectly fine by me.
As for that workin’ for a partner o’ mine ‘n wantin’ me to be involved— I got no qualms whatsoever! Granted that me bein’ inexperienced with caregivin’ would make me wanna talk it out a lil’ beforehand. Wouldn’t wanna do a bad job ‘n have a partner leave feelin’ like they can’t be that kinda vulnerable with me, or like I ain’t gonna be able to provide the kinda care they want, y’know?”
“All in all though, that don’t seem entirely outta my wheelhouse. Carin’ for people is what I like doin’ anyway. If a sweetheart o’ mine wants to relax not have to think about adult stressors for a while, n’ just be the center o’ my world for a while, that’s not actually far off from the ideal anyhow.”
