Teenage girls and women in spn have some of the best possible arcs that never happened.

They are the key to understand spn worldbuilding beyond the limitation vision of the Winchesters, because they share a lot with Sam and Dean but without the figure of John Winchester or even Chuck as God playing an overcasting role.

And they got killed or forgotten because of their similarities with the Winchesters, because being the same as them deemed them useless, or because poised a threat against the narrow limits of the spn world as known from Sam and Dean.

They are afraid, they can be selfish, cowards, ruthless, vengeful, righteous, naive or soft or innocent, tricky and traitorous, wicked and skillful, just or kinda or motherly, rebellious and vindictive, smart and wise and otherworldly, powerful or weak or so complex you can't seem to grasp the entirety of their existences.

as much as i love sam knowing about destiel before dean does, there's something about "i mean yeah my brother and his angel best friend are really weird about each other, live together, co-parent a kid, nearly kill themselves every time the other is gone, stand too close and stare at the other's mouth while they talk, but i mean to each their own i guess??" that's so special to me
