hello, and welcome to our abro experience!!

i'm ash/rhylee!! you can use whichever name you like best

i use any and all pronouns (short psa about this at the bottom of the post). my identity is honestly very fluid- i considered for a time that i was genderfluid, but i'm probably abrogender. also abrosexual. idk man it's confusing

this blog is open to all of you who would like to share your abro experiences, ask questions, give answers or suggestions, and more!! i'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

abrogender describes gender fluidity in a way that is sort of similar to being genderfluid. if you're abrogender, your gender fluctuates in a way that is impossible to pin down, or you have so many tiny aspects to your gender that you're constantly discovering it.

abrosexual is the same idea as abrogender, except with your sexuality. someone who's abrosexual would find their sexual identity shifts often- they might identify with the term gay, and then might feel attracted to all genders, and then might not feel any attraction at all.

What is l’appel du vide?

When you’re standing on the edge of a rooftop and you feel that need to jump but you don’t

When you’re driving and desire to crash onto a tree but you decide not to

That is L’appel du vide,

The call of the void

Not everyone hears it but some of us do

And those that hear it could someday answer it, I think i might

Maybe not jump from a rooftop or crash my car onto a tree

Maybe not put a bullet in my skull

But perhaps starve myself for a week

Or deprive myself from sleep

Or even stay in bed for a long long time

But my anxiety wont let me

It’s that feeling when you’re at the top of a roller coaster and it stops

But every single day, every hour

When you step into the wrong stair, but every day

The weight on your chest never leaves

It’s always there

The sense of impending doom

Warning me

As if i was being chased by someone

Or something, my future maybe

Which you know, I can’t picture my future anymore

I have lost my motivation to accomplish anything

And that saddens me because i used to have goals and wishes

But now my friends

I am sorry to announce

I have lost my will to live

And I don’t even care anymore

Just end my misery already

God, if you exist, please be merciful

And grant me my wish of ceasing to exist in this sinful w orld

An Ode to Being Over-Worked and Under-Paid

Just because something is and has been and will be,

does not mean that I have, do and ever will accept that this is all there is.

I deserve more.

Spit in my face will not make me a martyr to the cause.

I'd rather lie in wait, trip the giant and plunge a steak through the thick skull of a tyrant.

I would rather remove each finger, joint by joint and silently feed it back to my slave master.

A Cry for Help

"I just realized something" you murmur as you face the sharp drop immediately in front of you. You shift your weight forward, leaning your body precariously over the wide mouth of the chasm. "People who jump don't really want to die."

"Oh? Why do you say that?" I ask as I slowly inch my way closer to the railing your white-knuckled hands grasp. As I get closer I see your foot lift off the ledge, allowing your shoe to fall down down down...

"They always wait for someone to come find them." You say, slightly looking back at me before facing the mouth once more. "They don't want to die otherwise they'd jump right away. Instead they want to feel needed by the people who find them."

"That's an interesting theory" I responded slowly. I was almost there, you just needed to stay distracted for a litt-

"Yeah, strange that I just figured that out now huh?" You say as you leaned forward even further.

"That depends...do you believe it's true?"

"I guess I'm still trying to figure that out."

I don't need to see your face to know there's a smirk plastered across it.

You turn to give me a quick wink right before the bottoms of your legs get eaten by the darkness below and your fingers slip from the rail. I lunge forward, grabbing a hold of your arm before it disappears out of my sight, an angelic laugh erupting from the chasm as if it's laughing at my attempt to save you.

As I tug you up I see your face red and tear stained, but not from sadness. From joy.

"I knew you'd catch me" you whisper as I hold you to me, and I silently thank God for not taking you from me so soon.

I just had to share that the best, most compelling dnd campaign that I have ever played ended last night. I was sad but proud to see my Ozzy go out a hero and earn his happiness in his afterlife with Lappel but was torn absolutely apart by @agyreofbutterflies and his ending for Foret. Thank god for a group that was alright with the runaway love story we weaved completely on accident and it was dm'ed perfectly for an impactful ending.

Despite it being an over all pretty decent day, i still just feel bad, cause of all the shit going on, but i also just feel so bad at relationships with humans. Like I'm just so crippled in that department. I feel cold, and empty. I also just have this underlying feeling of, " oh well this relationship is fake, its just to learn your deepest darkest, and turn all of it against me" like all the time, and it makes it really hard to tell when people are being genuine with me, and it makes it super hard to trust anyone. So I just don't tell anyone anything.
