we have dream introjects. 5 so far. As in first encountered in dreams and then manifested as headmates the day after

I'm not sure what to vote because technically yes, but also no.

I once had a sentient (presumably sentient, based on her actions) headmate in a dream. In the dream, she would follow me and talk with me like my other headmate usually does, react to things, have emotions, and so on. In the dream it was basically my ordinary life but with 2 other headmates instead of 1. She was a lot different from just any run-of-the-mill dream character and she really left a mark on me. She was gone when I woke up though for some reason. This was years ago. Maybe someday I will try to use tulpamancy or something to "revive" her and make her presence permanent, who knows.

We've had dream headmates like that too! A couple times, we dreamed of having other headmates who were gone when we woke.

I personally don't count them as actual headmates unless they manifest while we're awake, but it's certainly an odd experience.

There seems to be some mechanism that keeps dream characters, including dream headmates, from waking up as part of the system.

Actually no im not done complaining about toxic shipping cultures

Ever since I joined the proship + rq community (which was at the same time) I CANNOT stand people getting mad at ships. I have a few ships I cannot be around (tw but Sal x Larry being the biggest, we are uncomfortable w the concept, had it used against us to cause trauma, and Travis hates it for obvious reasons that’s HIS man not his brothers man ew). However- is this reason for me to invade Sally face spaces and start screaming and yelling about how horrible Sallarry is; is it ok for me to garner a good chunk of the fandom to go and storm the palace of sallarry and kill all shippers in their steps?? NO! From what I’m aware, the devs were even implying it before they decided to go the route they did (which honestly I like because it shows a really dynamic and complex relationship with many different phases, and Trav KNEW they had something for each other before they became siblings). Like I don’t know how much time I spent avoiding fanfic and fandom spaces because I didn’t ship the conventional ships (which in hindsight were SO CHILL compared to the shit I ship now). I left friends for the things they shipped, had friends leave me for what I shipped, and for what??

When my abusive ex was using the ship and various other sources of media to gaslight me into doing the gross things I did with them, then THAT is not ok. That’s a time where someone is taking a ship to far, and it’s genuinely hurting people. But not a SINGLE SOUL (including myself) was ever hurt by ships that I didn’t like. It was just the one time I had a bitch who used it against me. It just goes to show how stupid toxic ship culture is. Anyone remember the absolute OUTLASH that tsumishima got on TikTok from like 2018-2019? Yea that entire time I never actually saw any tsumishima content, and the people I saw who shipped tsumishima never posted about it. When they did they were just trying to defend themselves from the doxing and death threats.

And the thing is- how can you assume what someone thinks about a ship. I would ship junko and mikan in a recovery au- I think they would actually make a good couple with all their shared trauma as long as they got therapy for the rest of their lives. But no one would let me get past ‘Junko and Mikan would be cute’ Because they would already sniping me down from across the screen.

Anyways this is such a sleep deprived ramble, I just hate toxic ship culture. You literally NEVER have to look at a ship you don’t like- and only in the aforementioned case above or similar cases should a ship be called out. Not because of the content, but the way the person is using the ship. The fictional characters literally do not matter and they will not be mad if you put them in a ‘bad’ relationship. And don’t come at me saying ‘oh but I’m an introject/fictive and I-‘ BLOCK THE TAG!! STOP LOOKING FOR IT!!
