Shadowhunterverse X KNB crossover

A/N: As I recently made a headcanon regarding the two fandoms I am most known for, I am hereby making an inverse one. Where my previous headcanon details KNB characters in the Shadowhunterverse, this one is about the Shadowhunter characters in the KNB universe.

-Considering I stated that Kise Ryota is definitely a Herondale, this would also still be true in this version of the crossover. Kise is Jace's half-Japanese cousin and Jace often goes to Japan for a vacation destination. Like Kise, he is an athletic prodigy. Whilst he prefers martial arts, he is still prettty decent at basketball and would always join during scrimmages in the summer holidays. I also low-key see him being friendly with Aomine with how interested the latter is in the US and that they occasionally tease Kise together. -Obviously, I cannot talk about Jace having relatives in Japan and often going there, without mentioning his otaku girlfriend. Clary absolutely went bonkers when she learnt Jace had family in Japan and generally tags along to the Herondale family vacations. I can see her being friends with Kuroko who recommend all kinds of light novels to her that she can read after having taken some lessons in Japanese from Jace's parents who became fluent speakers themselves. -Because Jace still became close friends with the Lightwoods in this universe, they have joint the Herondale family on a trip or two, and that was all it took for Isabelle and Momoi to become close. As analytic hot girls with a passion for athletics & that always try to take care of the boys around them, these girls are best friend material who get eachother to a complete T. They chat nearly every day, and Isabelle is glad to have found a girl that is just like her and she can actually relate to as Isabelle has a way smaller friendgroup then Momoi. -Laura (Liqin) Ke is a distant cousin to Wei Lui and showed up during the Winter Cup as she would rather support him then be hounded by her grandma again. -Cameron Ashdown is actually good friends with Himuro and Kagami. They met once at a sports festival held by a couple of middle schools from Los Angeles. He was that awkward friend trying to glue the boys friendships back ogether after they had their infamous fall-out. Kagami always appreciated Cameron for trying to do so and being such a supportive friend. -Speaking of Himuro and the Ashdowns, Paige used to have the most massivve crush on him after he came over to Cameron's birthday party, but Himuro politely shot her down because he's not interested in a bitch. -Vanessa and Paige are also huge fans of team Jabberwock, and attend a lot of their L.A matches. -During Eleanor Blackthorn's cancer treatments, she learnt how to play a Japanese card game from Kiyoshi Teppei who underwent treatment for his injured knee at the same hospital. His protective nature sometimes reminded her of her own son Julian, so she couldn't help but take a liking to the boy. -Emma dated Nijimura for a hot minute during her phase when she was trying to distract herself from her feelings for Julian with other boys after Nijimura went to America. -Diana is gym buddies with Alex. The two women often catch a cup of coffee after working out together.

Thanks so much for asking!!

Fern stayed up unpacking, decorating, and rearranging until they finally collapsed into bed at two a.m., and woke up screaming at seven from a nightmare in which Laura had found them and shoved them into one of the traps surrounding Blackthorn Cottage. It was another forty-five minutes before they were able to get out of bed, the uncontrollable shaking and feeling of ghostly hands on their skin having finally subsided.

Stumbling into the bathroom next to the main bedroom, Fern kicked off their sweaty pyjamas and got into a scalding shower, coming out with reddened skin but also with the feeling that their soul had been returned to their body. Leaving the pyjamas on the bathroom floor, they returned to their bedroom, remembered that their job interview at the bakery in town was at ten thirty, and debated whether to crawl back into bed and try to get a little more sleep or just get ready now.

They took one look at the messed-up sheets, felt a terrible stab of anxiety at the prospect of another nightmare, and decided to go with the latter.

What colors do you favor in your writing? Which show up the most? If you color-code your characters at all, which colors are the most prevalent?

Hey hey! I forgot to answer this yesterday, so I'm getting to it today.

I'm actually a big fan of color coding things. TTRPG characters, writing characters, and characters who are both (like a good chunk of my Lake Wonder characters) all get a specific color with specific vibes and reasoning. I think Tiff's is the most obvious-- bright, neon green, the kind that looks great under black light. She's a character who spends a lot of time in the woods and a lot of time doing "weird science," her best friend and stepmom are both aliens, and she's haunted by pine needles-- it's a green, and it's going to be bright.

I actually have assignments for basically everyone that I'll put under the cut, but, to answer the questions: I think, in my writing, greens, purples, and blues show up a lot. It's kind of funny, because blue is my absolute least-favorite color. I absolutely love warm colors (my favorite is orange), and I know they came up a fair few times in Impish, but it usually falls into camps of cool colors and oversaturation, depending.

As for color-coding, I know I've assigned teal twice, pink at least twice, a couple oranges, and more than a few greens. Apparently I made a list forever ago, so there's going to be an amended version of it below the cut.

Lake Wonder:

Tiff Sheridan: neon green

Denny: either a rusty or mac and cheese orange

Zane Shade: light shade of red

Stacey Blake: the most feminist shade of fuschia-pink you can muster (post-zombification, gray-pink)

Bloodsaw: dark red (almost black)

Laura Mandarin: gold (was originally a soft purple, but gold fits better)

Kay Clark: cherry red (yellow is also important)

The Aetherium:

Alf Armstrong: a very rich teal

Feminist Icon Gwen Krantz: a faded, crusty teal (like her hair)

Note: they're both teal on purpose! Canonically, it would come from Alf just having an affinity for the color and Gwen's hair being a semi-permanent washed-out teal, but it's also a little link between them, since Gwen's kind of their aunt! (Gwen as kind-of-aunt to both Alf and Indy is delightful to me. Imagine your aunt being wizard Tony Hawk.)

Ash sat next to his mother, using the excuse of wanting to be part of the meeting as another opportunity to be near her. He was growing ever concerned with the possibility of her being murdered by the Princes. Janus entered the room, followed shortly by the young man they were eager to gain as an ally, Manuel Villalobos. Janus was happy he had caught a glimpse of the secret letters he had been sending Alec and could buy the Seelie Queen some extra time with the ever growing furious Princes. She was sitting in a throne, beautifully decorated with dead moths, a similar seat had been given to Ash. Janus and Manuel sat down. "Greetings, Nephilim." "The honor is mine, you are much lovelier then people described you to be." Manuel said, sucking up eagerly. The queen smiled, knowing an opportunist when she saw one. "Well, aren't you more flattering then most of your people are. I've heard that the Unseelie Court has been giving you much trouble as of late." Manuel nodded, "Unfortunately. We have a hard time smuggling ourselves past the borders of Idris now, and we are not nearly as self sufficient when it comes to food stocks as we'd like. Many are starving." "And what would you do for me, if I were to help you with your little Unseelie problem?" The Seelie Queen asked, secretly gloating at how Alec Lightwood had given her this opportunity. "Everything you ask. Tension is naturally high and not everyone who chose to stay is vehemently against Downworlders. It wouldn't be that hard to get rid of Zara and the most strongest opposers if a little riot were to break out." The queen smiled, liking that idea very, very much. "Well it would be only fair for my son to have some Nephilim to order around too, " she said as her blue eyes fell on Ash who in turn, scanned Manuel up and down to judge him as a potential right hand man in leading the Nephilim. The Nephilim did not flinch at the curious gaze of Sebastian Morgenstern's son, if anything, he looked at the white haired boy displaying visible interest. Perhaps this could be interesting.

As the group had discussed most of their individual experiences like Dru's tale of travelling from Faerie and details regarding Ash Morgenstern, everyone was trying to come up with their plans to do next. "Well, I first of all do think we need a name for ourselves," Anush pointed out, and many in the group nodded. "What about Hunters of the King?" Laura proposed. Tavi frowned and Kit shook his head. "The Royal Shadowhunter Alliance?" Tomas offered. "Considering I am not a Shadowhunter, I object to that name." Gwenneth sniffled. "Legion of the First Heir?" Tavi prompted and Ty hummed, "That sounds close to right. Still, there is something lacking." Dru bit her lip as she caught Jaime's eye, "Knights of the FIrst Heir then?," came his raspy voice as his eyes never let go of Dru's. "It does sound fairly decent, " she commented as her heart did weird little flips at the intensity of his warm brown eyes. Everyone was polite enough not to comment on the obvious romantic tension and Kit cleared his throat. "Then it is decided. You will be known as my knights I suppose," he said as he felt the weight of it rest on his shoulders. Knights sounded so royal, and he was, but it felt so surreal to think of Ty, of Dru and of everyone else present as servants who served him. He frankly didn't wanted to, but it was his duty to rule and they were eager to support him every step of the way. It honestly really touched Kit, more then they would ever imagine it did.

Does anyone think that it's possible that one of the two girls Livia saw on the hallway in The Lost World could be Ke Liqin from The Lost Book of the White and that was why we didn't get any names in the exchange?

The majority of the fandom doesn’t erase the fact that she was abused. In fact, they never shut up about it... 

And I can understand her actions towards James are the way they are because of the abuse and I can be okay with that. 

I however, cannot be okay with the sexual assault towards Matthew. Or the manipulation towards Charles. Like I can understand that she’s scared and she wants to get away from Tatiana, and I can forgive a lot of things, understand a lot more; but I still don’t have to like it or agree with it; because it was so fucked up and not okay. 

Grace is...well this is a complicated situation and very controversial in the fandom. And well, let’s see my thoughts on the end of The Last Hours. Although, my stance on the assault and Charles stays.
