Might do Lestat again for Halloween like I did last year since I did not actually do anything again last year. Would be the first time in near decades my Halloween costume was on the pulse of what’s hot and cool

Yet Another 50 Underrated Horror Films
I guess most people would want to talk about the best movies they watched in the past year, but I thought this would be a more fun way of ending 2022. Let me give you some links to other lists before I get started, in case you are into this and just cannot get enough. Well, allow me to be of service.
The First 50
The Second 50
UFO Movies
Mad Science Movies
Aquatic Movies
Found Footage Movies
Heavy Metal Movies
Werewolf Movies
Eyes of Fire : Back in old timey pioneer days, a group of people get cast out from their community because their preacher is a sex fiend. So they find their own place. That is full of evil fae magic and ghosts and stuff, and things get wonderfully weird.
Highway To Hell : It’s Orpheus but full of puns and dumb jokes and incredible special effects. My favorite bit is about the road to hell being paved with good intentions. Also, Adam Storke is in this... You know, Larry from the 90s Stand miniseries. That guy. He’s great here.
Shallow Ground : Ghosts. But so so so much cooler than just that. I don’t want to say too much. This one is all about the reveal. This teenager shows up naked and covered in blood, and everyone goes what the hell happened to him? And shit gets STRANGE.
Nightflyers : Adaptation of a George R.R. Martin short story that really needs a blu-ray release, like, yesterday. Beautifully 80s SF horror film full of weird, futuristic bullshit that I can’t get enough of.
Beyond Dream's Door : What if A Nightmare On Elm Street were made on $3 and a ton of LSD? Take this trip, no pun intended.
Night Vision : A guy that literally just fell off the turnip truck decides to be a writer in in THE BIG CITY. Which supernaturally chews him up and spits him back out. A cool, low budget time.
The Murder Mansion : Giallo! Two rather attractive people meet, fall in love instantly, and then get trapped in a murder mansion. That’s all you need for a giallo masterpiece really.
Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell : An alien invasion that goes super hard. A plane crashes due to alien interference, and the survivors are faced with just... the scariest alien invasion of all time. This movie fucks.
Island of Terror : Lil goo monster that kills you the moment it touches you. It feels like they were trying to do a Lovecraft thing, and it’s quaint and British with Peter Cushing.
The Majorettes : One of those late 80s slashers that just keeps on giving. The first fifteen minutes were hilarious enough, and then the third act happens. There’s a siege? On a trailer park? In my slasher?
Sometimes They Come Back... Again : Alexis Arquette (RIP) gives the performance of a lifetime as an undead thug who will fuck your daughter and your dad. Watch it for her.
Sweet Home : Nothing is quite like a Japanese ghost story. This one throws some slasher tropes in there, too, with very over-the-top kills. Then it lands the dismount. Give me a blu-ray now please.
Creature : Alien rip-off! Now hear me out. I am a sucker for those, but this is probably the best one in existence. Watch The Titan Find cut, as it’s the director’s preferred version, and I think it slaps.
Candy Corn : Why isn’t this a Halloween classic? It’s like Trick r Treat meets Dark Night of the Scarecrow. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, that’s an incredibly good thing. Also, the kills are brutal.
Auntie Lee's Meat Pies : Auntie Lee has lots of BEAUTIFUL nieces who attract dumb men that she puts into delicious meat pies. Good for her, right? Some rockers in bad wigs show up and... predictably become pies.
Skinned Deep : If Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 had no limiters on. If they were ALL off. All of them. I mean, just all of them. Warwick Davis is having the time of his life here. And Surgeon General’s mask is made out of what you ask? Boyfriend material.
Werewolves on Wheels : A biker gang stumbles across a cult having a ritual. This makes them become werewolves. And that’s awesome.
Distortions : Olivia Hussey and Piper Laurie attempt to out act one another while both going completely out of their minds. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss.
Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge : When you’re such a simp for The Phantom you’ll watch a hunky version kick ass underground in a mall. Also, it’s a good slasher. With Pauly Shore being... actually a fun character.
The Marsh : A children’s book writer moves to the country to rest and get inspired. Then ghost shit starts happening. Trust me, this movie goes around some bends I didn’t expect, and it’s really worth taking the ride. We love a good ghost mystery in this house.
Dead and Buried : The story kicks off with a photographer getting set on fire at the beach by an angry mob. And it doesn’t get less weird. Definitely more weird. It blew my mind, and I didn’t think that was possible after all I’ve seen. With Robert Englund before he was Freddy.
Clearcut : Native American horror. This one is all about Graham Greene playing Arthur, a gleefully violent fellow with a lot of secrets. I kept thinking of Severen in Near Dark. The performance is that good, yes.
Satan's Triangle : Made for TV movie about the Bermuda Triangle. But also the devil. With an ending that I’ll never stop thinking about.
Night Shadow : A werewolf movie! Where the werewolf and some lady have a psychic connection. I think. I mean, I guess. And her brother knows kung-fu, but doesn’t use it to fight the werewolf. Some bad choices were made, but ultimately it’s a good-bad time.
Tales from the QuadeaD Zone : From the maker of Black Devil Doll From Hell comes... this! A horror blaxploitation anthology that really... It really is real. Also, what’s a QuadeaD? Dunno. And that’s not a typo. That’s how it’s spelled. Watch this. You’ll thank me. Or hunt me down, not sure which.
Alien Predators : A horror comedy that is heavy on the goofball antics and low on the scares. But damn if those antics aren’t cuter because it’s Dennis Christopher partaking in them!
Too Beautiful To Die : A late 80s giallo full of fucked up shit, a crazy murder weapon, and giallo’s favorite victim: fashion models. And I need to say 80s one more time to emphasize the true magic of this film. Okay, one more time: 80s!
All-American Murder : Christopher Walken. Ahem. Oh, you needed me to say something else? Well, murders. And lots of silly, silly, silly dialogue. And Walken gets to say a lot of it, too.
The Killer Is Still Among Us : Another giallo. This one is all about the ending. I find a lack of resolution to be one of the scariest thing a horror film can do. Very effective.
Slime City : A man has to eat people to keep from melting. It’s a tale as old as time. He goes full goblin mode by the end. Good old-fashioned melt movie.
Flesheater : Directed by the guy who played the first zombie in Night of the Living Dead. The cemetery one. Not sure why that made him qualified to direct a film, and when you watch it, you’ll see that it didn’t. But that’s why it’s good. Because it’s amazingly bad. Also, directed The Majorettes from up there, if that’s any indication of what you’re getting into.
All About Evil : Directed by Peaches Christ, this is an absolute love letter to horror cinema. Right down to the very theaters the movies play in. Cassandra Peterson stares at an Elvira poster. It’s that kind of movie.
I, Madman : There need to be more movies like this. About the power of stories to come alive. One minute you’re reading a book. The next minute, the book is happening to you. Stars Jenny Wright, who deserved a better career.
Grotesque : Linda Blair versus a gang of punks. Oh, excuse me. Punkers. That was one of my favorite parts, that they insisted on calling them punkers. Home invasion that goes completely WTF by the end. WTF endings are a theme with me.
Hell High : A group of high school outcasts decide to terrorize their teacher. Not realizing a nudge will make her go postal. This movie is way better than it has any right to be, quite frankly.
The Untamed : A Mexican SF horror film that is all about sex. It’s not SEXY. It’s ABOUT sex. And the need for it, the way it wrecks relationships, addiction to it, cheating, not being able to be true to yourself about your own identity or needs. It’s a lot. I love it.
Death To Metal : I love to see heavy metal horror alive and well. An evil priest gets a toxic waste makeover and decides to take out his religious frustrations in a local dive hosting a rock concert. It’s low budget and full of love.
Tropic of Cancer : Giallo! Again! With voodoo. Not accurate voodoo, don’t ever look for that in a horror film. But with magic and antics is what I really mean. And those antics are quite wild and fun.
Final Judgment : Brad Dourif as a priest with a gun trying to catch a serial killer. Also, lots of strippers. If nothing about that makes you want to watch it, may I check your temperature?
The Mangler : One of those bottom-of-the-barrel Stephen King adaptations with so much to give. Directed (well, in part, it sounds complicated) by Tobe Hooper. Starring Ted Levine. With an absolutely gigantic, evil, designed-by-Dracula laundry press.
Deep Blood : I haven’t seen every Jaws ripoff known to man. But why do I have the feeling this is the worst? If you want to relax with friends and laugh heartily over a multitude of poor choices and production mistakes, have I got the movie for you.
Identity : How unknown is this? I mean, it has John Cusack and Ray Liotta in it. But I still feel like no one talks about it. Still needs way more love. And Then There Were None, but twists galore. And lots of great, fun performances.
Retribution : A man attempts suicide right as a murder is taking place. The soul of the victim enters him and uses his body to exact vengeance. With a fantastic performance from Dennis Lipscomb and a lot of heart.
The Devil's Men : Priest Donald Pleasence versus cult leader Peter Cushing. In a fight to the death. With a minotaur there as well. Place your bets!
The Stone Tape : Do you like Halloween III? The same guy wrote this. It has a similar blending of technology and the supernatural. And the supernatural tends to win in those scenarios...
Benny Loves You : This is a flawed movie, but one thing is for certain: Benny is perfect. Benny loves us, and you’ll love him, too. A killer toy movie that’s a cut above the rest.
It! (1967) : Of course, I had to include the year, because, no, I’m not talking about one of the most popular horror stories of all time. I’m talking about Roddy McDowall (doing a Psycho) and a golem. And murderous hijinks!
Wind Chill : I know Christmas is over at the time of writing this, but this was a fantastic, underrated Christmas horror. A guy and a girl drive home from college in the snow and get stuck. Where a lot of people have gotten stuck before. And died.
The Shuttered Room : We’re in Lovecraft country here. Yog Sothoth doesn’t show up, but a lot of other gothic trappings sure do. People locked up in attics. Getting harassed by locals who are itching to say YOU AIN’T FROM AROUND HERE, ARE YA? Covered in a layer of creepy sweat. With Oliver Reed!
The Dead Hate The Living : Gotta end on a total banger. An independent film crew gets a little too zealous in making their horror flick and unleashes zombies upon themselves. With a ton of shoutouts and horror nerding, enough even for little old me.
That does it! These are always a labor of love for me, and I hope there are those of you out there that get some mileage out of this.

Howdy, it's Rose! (She/her, 24) Main blog is @the13throseii
This is just kinda a space for thinking about romancing people who aren't real. :)
No DNI, just be nice and don't leave nasty comments or tags. I don't check the blogs of everyone who interacts, anyway, it's too taxing on the brain.
Minors are allowed to interact, but nothing here is intended for audiences under 18. I'm an adult writing for other adults.
I can and may decline any request for any reason. Don't take it personally, I'm probably either just really not feeling the prompt or am not at all interested in the subject.
You can request characters not listed below, but I can't promise I know them or am confident in them enough to write for them.
What I won't write
Characters or reader-inserts under 18
Age regression-related content (I have nothing against agere personally, but I have no interest in it and would not like to write for it)
Character x character (Saving that for other spaces, such as my main and my Ao3, and will not be taking requests there either)
Smut/sexually explicit material (BY REQUEST. I might write some on my own time and post it here, but I won't do it by request. Sorry. Just really lacking in smut confidence here.)
Blank x reader (I need details, fellas. Just imagining a blank mannequin in my head interacting with these characters is not good for my motivation.)
What I will write
Character x reader
Multi character x reader (multiple imagines in the same post or multiple characters with reader at the same time)
Hurt/comfort content (genuinely I love h/c so much)
Gendered reader (just specify if you want one specified, otherwise I will default to no gender specified)
Evil characters & reader-inserts (I'll probably be writing bad guys more often than good guys anyway)
Nonhuman characters & reader-inserts (this includes all manner of anthro animals as well as monsters, aliens, robots, etc.)
AU requests (I can't guarantee I'll write ALL AU requests, but generally I'm open to them)
Suggestive or sensual, but not sexually explicit, material (ie; foreplay and stuff intended as kinky but without actual sexual contact. For example: sensual touching, biting, licking, suggestive dialogue)

Bark At The Moon (Steven Wilkins/Reader)
Tumblr media
Warning/notes: AFAB reader is suggested (no pronouns for the reader are mentioned), Billy Wilkins wishes the reader was his mom, reader wears a pirate dress, typical canon compliant violence mentioned throughout, sexual tension, first person POV
Rated: T (?)
Word Count: 3k
Author's Note: What's this? Me writing fanfiction about a character nobody knows or remembers? Why, of course. I love Trick R' Treat so much and I've been dying to write some fanfiction about Principal Wilkins. That man is dark, dude. Honestly, I used to be scared of him when I was little but now he's one of my favorite characters from the movie. And I'm oddly attracted to him. I don't know why...don't ask.

Laurie was nowhere to be found and it was doing nothing to calm my sister's nerves. Danielle had begun to pace in front of me. She took a swig of the beer in her hand as she watched the leaves crunch at her feet.
"Will you stop that?" I asked.
She didn't answer. She just gazed into the darkness of the woods, away from the fire. I rolled my eyes and took a look around at my surroundings. Most of the men that had been invited here were either passed out drunk or already dead. It seemed that most of my family couldn't wait for Laurie. The ones that still were walking around were also too drunk to realize that the camp was quite literally scattered with the bodies of dead men, clad in their cheesy Halloween costumes.
I, myself, was in nothing short of a 'slutty' Halloween costume.
When I had gone costume shopping earlier in the day, Danielle had told Laurie the golden rule of our full moon event: The sexier the costume, the better the meal.
But that made Laurie uncomfortable and rightfully so. I had found her a much more modest costume. A simple Little Red Riding Hood dress that showed the tiniest bit of cleavage. It was enough to appease to Danielle's traditional rules and enough to make Laurie more comfortable.
For myself, however, I couldn't get away from Danielle that easily. She had put me in a pirate costume. The dress was long in the back but ripped in the front, showing off a good deal of my legs. The costume was uncomfortably tight and had a faux corset built into it. It came with the usual accessories. A pirate's hat, a hook, even a tiny eye patch. I had ditched all the accessories, leaving them sitting by a log with my currently passed out dates.
I had somehow attracted the attention of two guys instead of one. Both seemed to be misogynistic pricks.
When I invited them here, they couldn't keep their hands off of me during the drive over. After a few spiked drinks courtesy of Danielle, they soon were too incapacitated to bother me. Now they both laid side by side, absolutely wasted, sleeping in the fallen leaves.
The fire crackled as music played in the background. Many girls from the pack now danced alone, their dates laying off to the sides of the camp. I made my way over to one of the wooden logs and sat down.
The crunching sound of leaves came from behind me, causing me to glance over my shoulder.
"You don't look too happy." It was Maria. She sat down beside me, handing me a solo cup filled with punch.
The fire illuminated her curls, causing the dark brown hair to turn into a cascade of auburn swirls. She took a sip from her own cup as she looked over at me.
"How can I be with that stressing me out all night?" I said, motioning to Danielle, who was still gazing into the darkness.
"Don't worry about her. She's just being a little overbearing. She'd probably make a good mom one say," Maria said.
"Yeah," I sighed, taking a sip from my drink.
"But that's not all that's bothering me. Don't you ever get tired of all this? Does every guy we come across have to be a meal?" I looked around at the various men scattered amongst us.
Maria huffed as she looked around.
"Only on full moons," she said jokingly.
I rolled my eyes.
Maria and I sat together in a comfortable silence, listening to the music that echoed throughout the night.
Suddenly, there was a scream from behind us.
"What the hell?" I mumbled, as I turned around quickly.
One of the girls pointed up at a tree. There was a dark figure on the limb. The person fell to the ground. I heard a sharp gasp of pain.
Maria and I stood up, rushing past the rest of the group. I looked down at the person. They were shrouded in all black. They wore a hooded cloak that covered their head and a half mask over their face. Looking over the person, I noticed that their leg had broken upon impact. It was a clean break, and the force of the fall had caused the bone to rip through the skin.
I looked up and noticed everyone's attention had turned the sound of rustling leaves. I turned my head to see who it was.
Laurie walked out of the darkness. Her Red Riding hood was missing and her hair was slightly array. The side of her neck was rid, slightly resembling a fresh hickey. I glanced down, noticing that her arms had been scratched.
Danielle was the first to approach her. Her "big sister" attitude visibly showed. Her hand was placed on her hip as she looked down at our little sister. I walked away from the masked man on the ground and over to where they stood.
"Laurie, what's going on? You're late," Danielle scolded.
"Sorry, I took their advice. Played hard to get," she said, gesturing to Maria and Janet.
She glanced over at the man and then back at Danielle.
"He bit me," she said.
There was an awkward moment of silence. I could tell that Danielle was relieved but the stress from before was leaving rather slowly.
"Well you're here now! Want a drink?" Janet offered. Laurie nodded, giving one last glare to the man on the ground. Maria made her way past me, tending to the masked man who laid behind me.
"Say ahh," I heard her say.
Danielle turned to me. A small smile had grown on her face.
"See. Nothing to worry about," I said.
"I guess not. Seems like she made a good choice. Creative bastard," Danielle said. She motioned to the man behind me. I glanced back just as Maria began to take off his mask. She tossed it to the side along with a rather impressive pair of fake fangs.
I looked down, squinting a little. Something about the man looked oddly familiar. His eyes had dark rings of eyeshadow around them and his mouth was covered with blood. Looking past the makeup, there was definitely something there that I recognized.
"Does he look familiar to you?" I whispered. Danielle shook her head and shrugged.
"What's your name, sweetie?" Maria asked.
"Steven," the man gulped, fear spread across his face.
"Steven Wilkins," he said.
Son of a bitch.
"Wilkins?" I asked, aloud.
Steven turned his head, nodding it.
"Steven Wilkins? I babysit your kid. Billy, right? You're that Steven Wilkins?"
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here? Who are these people?" he asked.
I turned my attention to Danielle, who was now having her own conversation with Laurie. I grabbed her shoulder and turned her around.
"This guy can't be Laurie's first kill," I said in a low voice.
"What are you talking about?" Danielle asked.
"I know him. He lives down the street from us, remember?"
"So what?" Laurie said, stepping forward.
"Guys, I babysit his kid. Remember? That little kid named Billy? This guy is the principal of the middle school and the high school," I said.
"Okay? What's your point?" Danielle asked.
"If Laurie kills him she's going to break one of our rules. You can't kill someone who you know. It's too personal. And if he wins up missing and Billy gets questioned the police are going to interview every person who knew him. That includes me. Plus, if she does she's going to make that poor kid a fucking orphan," I said.
Billy already didn't have a mother. When I would babysit him I could tell that it had effected his mental state. The kid surely didn't need to loose another parent.
"Fuck, she's right," Danielle said.
I nodded, glad that was understanding me.
"Then what do I do? It's the first full moon where I can change. I have to eat. It'll ruin the ceremony," Laurie said, slightly pouting. I looked around before my eyes landed on the two men I had brought with me.
"Take one of them. I brought extra," I said, pointing to the men.
Laurie smiled and nodded.
"Fine. But what are we going to do with him?" Danielle asked.
"I'll take him back to his house later," I glanced down at him, "but maybe I should take him to the hospital before that."
Steven laid on the ground, completely in hysterics as he looked around at the numerous dead bodies. I knew at that point he thought he'd be next.
Rock music started to play in the background once more. Many of the girls had begun to drag their "dates" closer to the camp circle. Laurie had made her way over to one of the men I had escorted here. Maria leaned over the top of him, pouring water over his face. The man woke up, jerking up from his place on the ground. Laurie slowly pushed him down, climbing on top of him and sitting on his pelvis.
I turned my attention to Steven. Leaning down, I pressed my hand on his face turning it so he'd look at me.
"(Y/N)?" his voice trembled a bit. He was scared. He tried his best to not look to his sides at the dead bodies.
"Mhm?" I hummed.
"What's going on? Why....why are you out here with all of these people?" Steven asked.
"Mr. Wilkins, I don't think I could even begin to explain all of this," I said.
At this point, the ceremony had begun. Many of the girls in the pack had begun to dance, swaying their hips to the rythm of the music all while running their fingers through their hair.
I ripped a large piece of my dress, tugging the fabric until I had a gauze-like strip of material in my hand. As I watched the others partake in the celebration, I folded the strip up in my hand.
"Open," I said, holding the piece of fabric in front of Steven's face.
"Why?" he asked with a look of confusion.
"Because I'm going to set your leg back in place so it's easier to take you to the hospital," I said.
Hesitantly, he opened his mouth. I pushed the fabric in and let him bite down.
I could see his eyes scan over everyone else. As I moved down his leg I could hear the sudden sound of low growls and flesh folding and ripping. I placed my hand on his lower leg and the other on his thigh. Just as Steven realized the horrors that was unfolding behind me I pressed with a significant amount of force, pushing the bone back through the skin.
His muffled scream ring in my ear as I began to create a tourniquet from another part of the dress, tying it off right over his thigh to stop the bleeding.
I scanned over his face. It was full of worry in fear. I reached over and pulled out the piece of fabric. As I did so, he began to scream, frantically looking around at my sisters and friends.
By now, they all had fully transitioned. Rigid claws dug into the dead flesh of the bodies laying around. Laurie, midway through her transformation, had her jaws clenched into the man's neck. She pulled up, her teeth ripping at the skin. Blood dripped down her face, running past her neck and soaking into the white of her costume. The costume itself had begun to rip at it's seams as her body became larger. Her spine cracked and the skin on her back began to split down the middle, revealing a second layer of skin covered in hair and blood.
Steven was still in hysterics, frantically blubbering and trying to pull himself away. I pulled myself over to him, pinning his shoulder beneath my hand. I put my leg over the top of him, sitting there as I looked down.
"Hey, listen to me. Ssshhh," I said, covering his mouth with my hand. His wide eyes met mind as I hovered over him.
"They're not going to hurt you. Okay? I convinced them not to," I said quietly. There was a slight nod on his end. Confused, but listening. I slowly pulled my hand away, letting it rest on his chest.
"Are you one of them?" he asked.
Some of the eyeshadow around his eyes had streamed down the side of his face from crying out of fear.
"Yes, I am," I replied.
"You're a....a..." He trailed off, not sure what to say.
I leaned foward on his chest, putting my head beside his ear.
"I'm a werewolf," I whispered.
"A werewolf," he repeated.
I sat back up, trying not to put any unnecessary pressure on his broken leg.
He glanced around once more, his eyes falling on Danielle, who was now in the form of a massive brown wolf. She looked on at everyone with watchful eyes as she ate her "date".
"Now I have a question for you," I said, drawing his attention back to me.
"What?"
"Why did you bite my sister?" I asked.
There was almost a look of shame on his face. His mouth opened slightly then closed as if he didn't know how to answer. I leaned in closer to him, peering down at him.
"A saw the vampire teeth, by the way. They looked professionally made. They definitely weren't the average Halloween costume teeth," I said.
He just stared back, not saying anything. I took this as an opportunity to mess with him. For the past couple of years I had babysat his kid. Throughout those years I had developed an infatuation with the mysterious principal. Now was my only chance to play into those feelings.
I leaned foward to where I was laying on his chest, my right thigh resting between his legs while the other leg laid on the ground. His breathe hitched as my leg moved, grazing across the front of his pants. I rested my head in the crook of his neck and then placed a gentle kiss on his jaw.
"What're you hiding, Wilkins?" I whispered. I kissed him again, moving lower down his neck.
"You'll think less of me," he said quietly.
"No I won't."
Another kiss landed on his skin. Goosebumps had formed, trailing down his neck.
"I was going to kill your sister."
My head perked up a little. I glanced up at him. His eyes were bloodshot as he looked up at the night sky, avoiding eye contact.
"Why?" I said.
"If I had known who she was I wouldn't have tried anything. It gives me a rush," he said quietly.
"Killing people?"
"Yes," he said.
My head rested on his shoulder once more. I gazed over him, watching his chest move up and down. He had calmed down quite a bit.
"And you've killed people before?"
"Yes. Two kids from the middle school are buried in my back yard. And they were just from tonight," he said.
"Jesus," I mumbled, taking in what he said. I looked past him. I could see that a good bit of the pack were still eating, not even taking notice to me or Wilkins.
One wolf, who I knew to be Maria, had her head buried in a man's chest, eating out his heart and lungs. Any other day it wouldn't have bothered me. But tonight it made me feel sick.
"I've killed people before," I said, quietly.
His head moved slightly, facing more in my direction.
"I've...eaten people before," I said.
"After seeing all of this, I could've guessed that," he said.
"Once a werewolf turns 20 they have a full moon ceremony for their first transformation. That's normally when the eating begins."
We laid there for a few minutes in silence, before I heard a howl from behind me. It was a signal that tonight's events were coming to an end.
"I need to get you to the hospital," I said as I slowly got up.
"Are you sure you can do that?" he sat up slowly, wincing in pain.
"Yeah, some of those guys brought their cars. I can drive you," I reached down, helping him up as slowly as possible. He wrapped his arm around my neck and began hopping on one foot as we made our way to a now ownerless car.
I helped him into the passenger seat and then got in, starting th he car and driving out of the beaten path of the woods. Eventually we arrived at the hospital and made our way inside.
"It's a clean break. You're going to be in a cast for the next few months," the doctor said. An hour passed and Steven's leg was all wrapped up in a white cast. I helped him back to the car and began driving back to our neighborhood.
As we approached his house I noticed a familiar figure sitting on the stairs of the front porch.
"(Y/N)!" the young voice rang out as he ran to me, meeting me at the sidewalk. Billy wrapped his arms around me, hugging at my legs due to his height.
"Hi, Billy! Happy Halloween! Look, I got to help your daddy inside, okay? He broke his leg," I said. Billy departed from the hug and looked into the car as I opened the door.
"Daddy, what happened?" Billy asked.
"I fell, Billy. I'm okay, don't worry."
I helped Steven up to the stairs. Billy opened the door and ran inside. Steven and I walked into the living room and I sat him down on the couch.
"Billy, go get changed out of your costume and I'll come up and tuck you in, okay?" I said. Billy nodded and sprinted upstairs. I sat down beside Steven and sighed.
"What a night," I mumbled.
Steven chuckled and then turned to look at me.
"That kid really likes you. He wishes you were his mom sometimes," Steven said.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but what exactly happened to his mom?" I questioned.
"After tonight, do you really have to ask?" Steven said.
"I guess not. But I do have one more question."
"And what is that?" he asked.
"Would you kill me if I were your wife?" I asked, leaning in towards him.
"Marry me and find out," Steven said, pulling me up towards him and kissing me.
We stayed like that for a few minutes, wrapped in each others embrace until the voice of Billy called out from upstairs, asking me to tuck him in. I stood up making my way to the staircase. I paused and turned to look at Steven for just a second.
A werewolf babysitter and a faux-vampire principal hooking up. It's not how I expected my Halloween night to end, but I wasn't complaining.

Author's Note: And there it is! I've had this idea brewing for YEARS and I finally wrote it. I hope you guys enjoyed! I know it's not great and it's certainly not exactly how I envisioned it but that's fine.
Stay spooky my friends!
Until the next chapter, Morgan.

Is there anything you, the artist, want to share about the students that no one has asked about yet?
I'm not really completely into this idea but I the thought of Laurie babysitting the "baby" slashers like sam from trick 'r treat and sadako from ringu is super endearing so have that food for your thoughts

top 5 werewolves you would fuuuuuuuuuck?
LOLLLLLL I HATE. This is actually difficult, because there are not many onscreen werewolves that I think really... work? And the casting can negatively impact some. Like, I love the Huntsman from The Company of Wolves, but... I cannot fuck that man.... I'm not gonna fuck anyone from Teen Wolf, because they're all Teen Wolves and I'm not a monster.......
--(The Unfortunately Named) Jack Russell, Werewolf by Night. 1) As we've covered, I've long harbored a Gael Thing and 2) I really love Jack!!! I love how he's quiet but is also capable of great violence, and so good at having the moment where he quivers as the heroine touches his face and he remembers "oh yes, it's her". I'm... weak for that.
--Laurie, Trick 'r Treat. You know, I'm not usually one for Anna Paquin, but the Little Red Riding Hood thing in the end and the delivery of "my, my... what BIG eyes you have" really does work here.
So yeah, after that I think I'm left with book werewolves, to which I say:
--Lachlain, King of the Lykae (we'll call that a surname), Immortals After Dark. I really just love him. He's the worst. Like, honestly? Should be in prison, probably. But he already was in prison! Burning alive! For 150 years! I just find the fact that he gnawed his own leg off to find a woman, found her, realized she was a one of his mortal enemies the vampire horde who had imprisoned him, went "welp this dick ain't gonna suck itself" and took her back to a hotel room that she had to pay for because he didn't have any money..... hot. I'm fine.
--Grayson Hemming, Cambric Creek After Dark (nobody does shit during daylight). Truly one of the worst men I've read about. A militant werewolf rights activist. Rich. Throws Lupercalia parties and then gets mad when his fuckbuddy doesn't show up to them. Calls her babydoll during sex, a thing I went "ew" at, lying to myself.
--Vanessa Blevin, Cambric Creek After Dark. Vanessa is also really hot tho! Would be their third. There's a part of the book where she's sitting on his face and is coming down from an orgasm and is really pissed that he hasn't passed out, and I personally find that very charming. There's also a part from a different book that's about his brother where Grayson is like "she bit my balls during a blow job, should I have this looked at by a doctor" and everyone is like "yes" so I assume that she bites deeply.

Wanted a space to do ship oneshots so bad that I just made a whole blog for it.
No DNI, just don't be a jerk.
I don't have any incest ships or age gaps involving minors, but I still wouldn't call most of my ships "wholesome". There's a lot of villain/villain, human/monster, fucked-up-person/equally-fucked-up-person...I don't exactly deal in coffeeshop AUs. I don't really go super far into Dead Dove territory but if you're offended by anything I mentioned having here, you should probably keep moving.
I'm always down to talk about my ships positively, but if you've got a complaint about any of the ships I'm working with, keep it to yourself. I didn't make this blog to argue.
I don't really take writing requests here, but I do take suggestions and will sometimes reblog prompt lists for that. I have a lack of confidence in my smut writing abilities, so most of the stuff here won't be explicit. It might be kinky or suggestive at times, though.
I already said I don't check the blogs who interact with me, so I can't really enforce it, but if you're under 18 this is your warning to either back out or proceed with caution. I'm an adult writing for other adults, even with the lack of smut.
