Whew, this tweet 🔥🔥! Couldn't have said it better
https://twitter.com/Canellelabelle/status/1779980685362553146?t=XtrS-9z_CLvR6bR9Bu3_dg&s=19
"So, after Meghan apologised in UK High court for "forgetting" that she leaked information to Omid scabies via Jason Knauf, in order to write Finding Freedom and attack the RF; today The Telegraph reveals that Harry had to apologise in Court after he "emailed confidential information to Johnny Mercer, the veterans MP concerning his security claim against the Home office"🔥
Tumblr media
This is interesting because this is the same MP who has been singing the praise of Harry's military service and the same MP who is helping him with his bid to return invictus to the UK. So was Harry expecting a gov MP to go against the UK government decision regarding his security or pull strings on the inside?🤔
You see my dears, Lies travel faster than the truth, but the Thruth always comes out at the end and brings shame with it🔥
All the bad press Harry and meghan get is absolutely justified: They always end up doing worse than what they are accused of.
H&M have spent the past 6 years lying ad nauseam about William and KP;
Lying that he is in bed with the press; lying that he leaks about them. Yet it is them who are continuously exposed by journalists as having a whatsapp group chat; with the same british press they publicly complain about; in order to leak info to them🤡
It is them BOTH who have been outed in the court of law as liars and leakers🤡
It is them who are on record violating the RF privacy and giving interview to the press🤡
It is their supporters who were exposed in the press as a cyberbullying group doxxing and harrassing people as well as pushing death threats against the wales family and their supporters🤡
Quite simply Everything they accused William of doing to them is actually everything they did and continue to do to HIM, his wife and their family🔥
The proofs are out there in every book they wrote and ghost wrote, in their projects, court cases and well documented bots orchestrated campaign they lead nonstop on William and His family.
Now we know clearly that the leaks and bullies in KP were always Harry and meg which is exactly why William threw them both out.
This Man has never defended himself againt their lies, slander or defamation of character because he knew Time is on his side and the Truth is on his side🔥.
The Ones who cried wolves on every public platform to attract sympathy and play victim were all along, the actual wolves trying to gaslight the world into believing their actual targets was the wolves.
But Prince William is not one of H&M numerous victims. He is a Lion at heart. He never announces himself. He simply strikes and scores because the Lion is King☕️"

SAP HCM MODULE
Tumblr media
Unlocking the Power of SAP HCM: A Comprehensive Guide
Effective human capital management (HCM) is more crucial in the dynamic business world than ever. SAP HCM (SAP Human Resource Management System or SAP HRMS) is a powerful suite of tools designed to streamline HR processes, optimize workforce management, and drive strategic decision-making. Let’s explore this powerful module and its benefits.
What is SAP HCM?
SAP HCM is a core SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system module. It handles the entire spectrum of human resource functions, from the initial recruitment stage to retirement. SAP HCM helps businesses gain insights into their workforce, support employee development, and align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy.
Critical Components of SAP HCM
SAP HCM encompasses a range of sub-modules, each focusing on a specific area of human resource management:
Organizational Management (OM): The foundation of SAP HCM, this module establishes the company’s structure, job positions, relationships, and reporting hierarchies. It supports workforce planning and analysis.
Personnel Administration (PA): Stores and manages employee master data, including personal information, employment status, benefits, etc. It automates HR administrative tasks, reducing errors and paperwork.
Time Management (TM): Tracks employee attendance, shift schedules, and absences calculates working hours, and integrates tightly with payroll for accurate compensation.
Payroll: Automates and calculates salaries, deductions, tax calculations, and other payments. It ensures compliance with local regulations and simplifies the complex payroll process.
Travel Management: Manages business trips, enabling employees to request, plan, and track travel arrangements. It integrates travel expenses into accounting and reimbursement processes.
Talent Management (Recruitment, Performance, Learning) is a complete toolkit for attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent. It includes applicant management, performance reviews, and robust training and learning systems.
Why is SAP HCM Important?
Centralized Data: SAP HCM consolidates employee information into one system, promoting data integrity and reducing redundancies. It offers a single source of truth for critical HR data.
Streamlined Processes: Automation handles repetitive tasks, freeing HR for strategic decision-making and better employee experiences.
Data-Driven Insights: SAP HCM provides workforce analytics, reports, and dashboards to support informed HR decisions and optimize workforce utilization.
Improved Employee Experience: User-friendly interfaces and self-service portals empower employees to access and manage their information, reducing administrative overhead.
Regulatory Compliance: SAP HCM helps comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and local legal requirements.
Embracing SAP HCM for Business Growth
SAP HCM offers a powerful and versatile HR solution for businesses aiming to maximize their workforce potential. If your company seeks to:
Optimize HR processes
Enhance employee engagement
Drive data-driven decision-making
Improve compliance
…then exploring SAP HCM is a step in the right direction.
Important Notes:
SAP HCM is highly customizable to fit an organization’s specific needs
Implementation often requires the expertise of specialized SAP HCM consultants

Hahahaha how creeped out and disgusted would you be?
I know I will. Maybe it's always been this way. If you find me, which, I hope now you won't, I won't know what to do, really. I'll probably deny. Deny deny deny deny deny. Deny and lie. But my heartbeat speaks no lies, only soft murmurs that you've talked about before. Perhaps there is a hole in my heart, like the joke you've laughed at. A hole when I saw her beside you in your profile picture, a hole when I found her Facebook profile, a hole when I saw , more, on pictures
uploaded everywhere
When I saw her, everywhere
I can't say it's suffocating, I'm sure theres
Love
Between you two
But I can't help but think and hope and jump to conclusions that maybe there's still a chance for me. But who am I to say that? It's stupid, right? How can I compare? If I can hope, that means I'm still immature, right?
But what can I do other than hope? I can't even say I love you, but this is either love, obsession, or dependence. And I'd like to say it's either love or dependence. If you ask me to get over you, I will do it. Because it's you. But because it's you, I can't get over it. If I do get over it, over these feelings, over this attraction, attachment, dependence, interest, and dare I say love, then I'll have nothing. You're all I'm hanging onto in this physical world. You were all I was hanging on to in the spiritual world. Last year, I wanted to kill myself. So, so bad. I was prepared. I had a plan. I would go to a busy place, maybe a cbd in orchard, where people would be. It would be busy and packed.
I had a good part of my will planned out in my notes, and the rest in my head. I decided it would be at least 15 pages (pieces of paper, not sides). I would call Singapore out on all it's flaws, say everything I've been keeping down, and trash talk everyone that I've never brought myself to confront irl before. And in that will, I would express my love. To you, to other people, and dedicate all my money to you. If that'd work. I would print all 15+ pages and put them in a plastic box in a backpack. Then I would upload the digital version to Pinterest, whatsapp, Instagram, Google docs, tiktok, Wattpad, as many social media platforms as I could think of. And then I'd go on Instagram live, saying that I would kill myself, tell everyone the location, etc. I'd call news agencies, report a suicide, tell them to check my bag and make sure it hits the headlines. I'll link this will to my Instagram, tiktok, Whatsapp status, every group chat I'm in. Then I would take my life, backpack on my back, will securely kept in the hard plastic box, with another copy of my will left on top of the building. So that when I fall 10-20+ levels, the will is securely tucked inside, dry and not destroyed. Not soaked by my blood and unreadable. An illegible will is as good as no last words at all.
So I'd go out with a bang, and hopefully a protest. A suicide in Singapore is pretty big, right? It'd make good news for a while, and I don't care if people forget me. I just want them to remember my impact, or have lasting laws that are caused by me. I want to make a difference so people don't suffer like me anymore, so that Singapore would be more emotionally sensitive to people's needs, and I could be an example in debates. Oh well.
I hang on, because of you. I didn't die, because of you. I looked forward to seeing you in school, even if it was just those times of little sightings around the school, in the hall during morning assembly.
But it doesn't matter. I hope you never read this. If you somehow do, please tell me. I'll either deny, deny, deny, or kneel down and beg at your feet for forgiveness. Because if this scares you, you don't want to know the other things that I do, or the way I really look at you. I'm so sorry. I know you could never forgive me. Your existence is just so beautiful and I wish to appreciate every aspect of you. So much. I stayed alive for you. But anytime you want me to go, I'll do it. I'll do it. If you want to cut me open and dissect me for my heart, gladly. Any organ would be amazing, to be of some benefit to you. I wish to make you smile, see you laugh. I wish to make you happy. Not even in the way lovers do. Or friends. You might be uncomfortable with that. Even as just an acquaintance, if my stupid loud laughter or dumb remarks make you laugh along too, that's so much for me. So much more than enough, to keep me living for years and years and years and years and decades and lifetimes. That's a bold claim to make. But it's
Simply because
You are you

What’s on my mind
My WhatsApp profile status is based off Alice in the wonderland: “If I had a world on my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t…”
Due to word cap, I didn’t finish the whole sentences nor did I manage to quote the author.
“…And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see” - Lewis Carroll
It’s like beauty in the beholder’s eyes. Unknown to this quote, someone said I was negative.
To me, Alice in the Wonderland is the only childhood book that doesn’t ends with “they lived happily ever after”. It’s a fantasy beyond imaginations, creative in its own unique way. It’s a little hope where you escape the harsh reality into this fantasy world of nonsense.
Law of attraction
They said law of attraction. I understand this very well. A few years ago, I manifested that I will have a pay check up to 5 figures a month by the following year. Each morning I would look at the little sticky notes by the mirror and imagine myself successfully doing it. And guess what, I did it way earlier before the due date. Of all people, I know how well this works.
But it’s easier than it looks. Just like karma, it works in multiple ways. Above manifestation mostly involves myself.
So if I manifest “Fate for Evana to have blood exchange transfusion and free her from eczema” has too many people involved - such as herself, her dad and the doctors. Since Evana is still young it’s also a challenge to have her manifest it.
Nevertheless, I will give it a go. I don’t want to give up easily.
It’s a cruel world out there
Words doesn’t do justice to the ugliness of human heart.
Family vs we are family are very different. According to dictionary, family are descendent from same ancestor. We are family is - are you being treated like a part of family?
How do you feel when you’re being outcast? I don’t even care that they outcast me, I’ve consider myself outcast anyway but why did they wanna outcast Evana?
3rd came back to KL for holiday recently. The 3rd and 2nd bring their child to Rawang, without their significant others for them to meet and hang out. Why didn’t they asked me since Evana is clearly at Rawang, which is so fucking near?
When I pointed this out, no one response but they knew very well that I was disappointed. And then guess what, they did it again. They planned to go to Genting, without me aka Evana. 3rd clearly said - I am just informing you.
The point isn’t so much on me but I would really like Evana to feel the warmth of family. These incidents aren’t the only things that happened - many more like the CNY reunion luncheon that I couldn’t even bother anymore.
So, what is family?
Master Wai once said - ghost is not scary, human heart is scary.
——————-
In midst of all souls deliverance, my daughter’s health and well-being, my failed marriage, an outcast of my own family, lost of employment, worrying on income, all the tedious works that I need to do before leaving and then worrying 2023 as the outlook isn’t that good, what else is there to look forward? Yea, being positive is easier than it looks. It’s easier when it doesn’t slap you with things over things that can be solve but with things that drag on and on ……
Still, like Alice in wonderland quote - I cling on to that little hope. Afterall, Lewis Carroll also quote, which is in my secondary WhatsApp - “If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there”

Self-described feminists Emma Watson, Katy Perry, and Sophie Turner team up to engage in hardcore sex in the feminist music video above.
After pushing around the pathetically emasculated infidel men for decades, the feminist movement in the Western world achieved complete equality of rights back in the late 1960’s. Of course being women they were not happy with equality, and wanted to keep complaining until they had every privilege in society. With the effeminate kuffar men powerless to stop them, modern feminists like Emma, Katy, and Sophie degraded the West to the point were they now can claim that being tremendous whores getting plowed by strange dick on the regular is empowering.
Thankfully the logical conclusion of the feminist movement will be the calling for Sharia law. For once women have every conceivable freedom and are openly indulging in every imaginable vice they will realize how empty and unfulfilled their lives are, and they will demand the one and only true woman’s right… Which is of course the right to be oppressed by a powerful and virile Muslim man.

With the effeminate kuffar men powerless to stop them, modern feminists like Emma, Katy, and Sophie degraded the West to the point where they now can claim that being tremendous whores getting plowed by strange dick on the regular is empowering.

Some videos concerning the Sri Lanka terrorist attacks
NYT copy paste article after the cut for those who don’t have a NYT subscription (arrested individuals belonged to a little known group called National Thowheeth Jama’ath):
By The New York Times
April 22, 2019
• The government on Monday blamed a little-known radical Islamist group for the devastating Easter Sunday suicide bombings that killed nearly 300 people. Officials said the group, which had not carried out any serious attacks before, had received help from an international terrorist organization.
• Sri Lanka’s security forces were warned at least 10 days before the bombings that the militant group was planning attacks against churches, but apparently took no action against it, indicating a catastrophic intelligence failure. Top government officials say the warning never reached them.
• The Sri Lankan police have arrested 24 people in connection with the explosions at hotels and churches.
• A dusk-to-dawn curfew was implemented for a second night on Monday in Colombo, the capital. And major social media and messaging services, including Facebook and WhatsApp, have been blocked by the government to try to curb the spread of misinformation.

Death toll rises to 290
The number killed was lifted significantly overnight, to 290, the police said on Monday, adding that about 500 people had also been wounded in the attacks on sites across the country.
The Sri Lankan tourism minister, John Amaratunga, said that at least 39 foreigners were among the dead. Those countries that have confirmed their citizens were killed include Australia, Britain, China, Japan, Portugal and the United States.
Ruwan Gunasekera, a police spokesman, would not reveal how many people had been killed at each location.
The identities of the victims have started to emerge. These are their stories.
More explosions rocked parts of the country on Monday, and while no new casualties were reported, the blasts racked already strained nerves.
In one case, it appeared that a bomb detonated while the police were trying to defuse or move it, near one of the churches that was hit on Sunday. Smaller blasts were reported that may have resulted from the police intentionally detonating suspicious packages.
This advisory sent by a police official alerted security officials about a threat to churches from a radical Islamist group, National Thowheeth Jama’ath. Government officials have blamed the attack on the group.
A warning went unheeded
Ten days before the bombings, a top Sri Lankan police official warned the security services that a radical Islamist group was planning suicide attacks against churches, but no action was taken against the group. It was unclear what other precautions, if any, the security agencies had taken in response to the threat warnings.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said on Sunday that neither he nor his cabinet ministers had been informed of the warning, highlighting the power struggle between him and President Maithripala Sirisena, who is also the defense minister. Late last year, the feud led, for a time, to there being two officials claiming to be the rightful prime minister.
The apparent intelligence failure and the breakdown of communication within the government are likely to prompt political recriminations and attract attention in investigations into the attacks.
At a news conference on Monday, the health minister, Rajitha Senaratne, said there had been a warning as early as April 4, reiterating that the prime minister and his allies had been “completely blind on the situation.” He noted the lack of cooperation within the government, saying that when the prime minister attempted recently to call a security council meeting, members of the panel refused to attend.
An April 11 letter from the police official not only named the group believed to be planning an attack, National Thowheeth Jama’ath, but also named individual members, and even gave addresses where they could be found.

The information was supplied by “foreign intelligence,” the letter said, but it did not specify from which country or countries.
“We must look into why adequate precautions were not taken,” Mr. Wickremesinghe said on Sunday.

Sri Lanka Bombing Maps: What We Know About the Attack Sites
The attacks struck churches, five-star hotels and other sites in multiple cities.
Who are National Thowheeth Jama’ath?
Officials on Monday said a little-known Islamist group that promotes a terrorist ideology in South Asia was responsible for the attacks.
The group, National Thowheeth Jama’ath, had a reputation for vandalizing Buddhist statues but little history of carrying out terrorist attacks.
Rajitha Senaratne, the health minister, called the group “a local organization” and said the suicide bombers appeared to be Sri Lankan citizens. “All are locals,” he said at a news conference on Monday.
But, he added, “there was an international network without which these attacks could not have succeeded.”
In a news release, Mr. Sirisena, the president, said that, according to Sri Lanka’s intelligence agencies, “there are international terrorist organizations behind these incidents.”
No one has publicly claimed responsibility for the bombings.
A forensic analysis of body parts found at six sites determined that seven suicide bombers conducted attacks at three churches and three hotels, according to The Associated Press. Most attacks were carried out by lone bombers, but two men targeted the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. Two other bombings at a guesthouse and at the suspects’ apparent safe house remain under investigation.
Sri Lanka does not have much history of Islamist terrorism. The country is predominantly Buddhist, with significant Hindu, Muslim and Christian minorities.
From 1983 to 2009, separatists from the Tamil ethnic group, which is mostly Hindu, fought a civil war against the government, dominated by the Sinhalese ethnic majority, most of whom are Buddhist.

The bombs hinted at a worrying level of expertise
Whoever designed the suicide vests used in the blasts showed considerable competence, a fact that is certain to worry law enforcement agencies, said Scott Stewart, vice president for tactical analysis at Stratfor, a geopolitical consulting firm based in Austin, Tex.
When small, homegrown extremist groups use explosives, they often start with a series of failures. Some bombs fail to detonate completely, and others explode early, late, or not at all.
But in the Sri Lanka attack, it appears that all seven suicide vests detonated and did heavy damage, Mr. Stewart said, indicating skill at making bombs and manually activated detonators, and suggesting access to a large supply of military-grade high explosives.
“You don’t do that by accident, so they must have a fairly decent logistics network and funding,” he added.
But Joshua A. Geltzer, a former senior director for counterterrorism at the National Security Council, said he would not be surprised if a small group had been able to stage the attack without direct help.
“There is so, so much instruction and guidance available on the open internet these days, not to mention whatever is circulating on encrypted chat groups, widely available in terrorist circles if not totally public,” he said.
Unexploded bombs, apparently not designed for suicide attacks, were found in other public places in Sri Lanka. That suggests that the bomb maker (or makers) was less expert at detonation using timers or remote control, Mr. Stewart said.

U.S. warns of additional attacks
The State Department said that terrorist groups “continue plotting possible attacks in Sri Lanka” and raised its travel advisory to warn visitors to the country about potential threats.
It said terrorists could attack “with little or no warning,” and listed several potential targets, including tourist spots, transportation centers, markets, malls, government offices, hotels and places of worship.
The travel advisory level was raised to “exercise increased caution,” the second-lowest of four levels. It had previously been at the lowest level, “exercise normal precautions.”
The advisory gave no specific details about any groups that could be planning attacks or about who might be responsible for Sunday’s violence.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia also raised its advisory level and urged travelers on Monday to “reconsider your need” to go to Sri Lanka.

Government responds with a curfew, a social media blackout, and more
Sri Lankan officials took a series of extraordinary steps in an effort to keep control of their shaken country, aiming to prevent further extremist attacks and retaliatory violence.
Mr. Sirisena, the president, said the government had given additional powers to the police and security forces to detain and interrogate people, and for the second day in a row, a curfew was imposed, from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m.
The government temporarily blocked several networks, including Facebook and Instagram. Users also reported being unable to access the messaging services WhatsApp and Viber.
Though Sunday’s attacks have no known link to social media, Sri Lanka has a troubled history with violence incited on the platforms. The ban was an extraordinary step that reflected growing global concerns about social media.
Mr. Sirisena appointed a three-person panel to investigate the bombings, headed by a Supreme Court justice, Vijith Malalgoda.
The president also directed the authorities to increase security around churches and other potential targets.

Religious persecution and conflict rise in Asia
The bombings in Sri Lanka underlined the rise of intolerance and violence across the region, based at least partly on religion and often feeding on government rhetoric.
Perhaps the worst example has been the persecution in Myanmar of the Rohingya Muslim minority by the government and by members of the Buddhist majority, especially since 2016. Thousands of Rohingya have died and hundreds of thousands have fled their homes.
In Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and elsewhere, politicians have increasingly made appeals to sectarian resentment, and tolerated their political allies’ calls for violence.
On Easter Sunday in 2016, a suicide bomber killed more than 70 peoplein a busy park in Lahore, Pakistan. A splinter group of the Taliban claimed responsibility, saying it had specifically targeted Christians.
Last May, suicide bombers struck three churches in Surabaya, Indonesia, killing 28 people, and in January, two bombs ripped through a cathedral in the Philippines, leaving 20 dead. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for both attacks.
Reporting was contributed by Russell Goldman, Austin Ramzy and Sandra E. Garcia.

Why Do Republicans Really Want To Repeal Obamacare

Passage Of House Bill Revives Effort To Supplant Obamacare
Why Don’t Republicans Want to Repeal Obamacare Anymore?! | Rand Paul
Just six weeks after House Republicans pulled a bill to substantially overhaul the the nation’s health care system, they successfully — if narrowly — passed a revised version of the measure.
On May 4, 2017, the House passed a the bill by a 217-213 margin.
Republican leaders adjusted the bill following negotiations with both the conservative and moderate wings of the party.
The revised bill would do several things.
It would end subsidies provided to people who buy health insurance on the Affordable Care Act’s online marketplaces, replacing them instead with tax credits. It would repeal several taxes imposed under the ACA that primarily hit high-income taxpayers. It would allow states to obtain waivers to some requirements of the Affordable Care Act, including the “essential health benefits” provision that requires maternity care or mental health services. And it would curb further expansion of Medicaid that had been allowed under the Affordable Care Act, as well as eventually capping Medicaid expenditures in ways that would effectively end its status as an entitlement.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, the original version of the bill would have increased the number of uninsured people by 24 million by 2026. The changes made before passage might change that number, but the specific impact awaits a new score by CBO, which is expected in the coming days.
Why Is The Affordable Care Act So Despised By So Many Conservatives
WhatsApp
IT HAS been called the most dangerous piece of legislation ever passed, as destructive to personal and individual liberties as the Fugitive Slave Act and a killer of women, children and old people. According to Republican lawmakers, the sources of each of these quotes, the Affordable Care Act , or Obamacare, is a terrible thing. Since it was passed by a Democratic Congress in 2009, it has been the bête noire of the Republicans. The party has pushed more than 60 unsuccessful Congressional votes to defeat it, while the Supreme Court has been forced to debate it four times in the acts short history. Obamacare was also at the heart of the two-week government shutdown in 2013. Why does the ACA attract such opprobrium from the right?
Why Do Conservatives Oppose The Law
Republicans say it imposes too many costs and regulations on business, with many describing it as a “job killer”. However, since the implementation of Obamacare jobs in the healthcare sector, at least, rose by 9% and a found that around 2.6 million jobs could be lost by 2019 if it is repealed.
Conservatives have also baulked at Obamacare’s rule requiring most companies to cover birth control for free.
The Trump administration tried to put in place new guidelines for organisations to opt out on moral grounds last year, but two federal judges blocked the move.
During the Obama presidency, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives took dozens of symbolic votes to repeal the law and provoked a partial government shutdown over the issue.
After repeated legal challenges, in 2012 the US Supreme Court declared Obamacare constitutional.
Despite having a majority on Capitol Hill under President Trump, a Republican repeal bid failed in dramatic fashion in 2018.
Democratic leaders have acknowledged Obamacare is not perfect, and have challenged Republicans to work with them to fix its flaws.
Trumps Executive Action Could Erode Marketplace Built Under Obamacare
Attempts to repeal portions of the Affordable Care Act have failed in the past several months, leading President Donald Trump to issue an executive order expanding access to cheaper, less comprehensive health care plans.
The order, signed on Oct. 12, instructs federal agencies to remove certain limitations on “association health plans” and expand the availability of short-term health plans, both of which can skirt certain minimum coverage requirements included in the Affordable Care Act and state laws.
These changes will not immediately take effect; federal agencies will have to figure out how to act on Trump’s directions.
The executive action orders agencies to explore ways in which the government can expand access to short-term health plans, which are available to individuals on a three-month basis and meant for people who are in-between health care coverage plans. Under the instructions, association health plans would be allowed to sell plans across state lines; those plans allow small businesses to band together to create cheaper health care plans that offer fewer benefits.
The order was intended to create more options for individuals seeking health insurance and help stimulate competition among insurers. Some health policy advocates worry that it could disrupt the insurance marketplace in a way that would drive up health care costs for elderly individuals and people with medical conditions.
It will be months before changes are seen in the marketplace.
This Is Why Republicans Couldnt Make A Better Replacement
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Republicans have made a lot of political hay out of pointing out that the plans available under the Affordable Care Act are, in many ways, disappointing. Unsubsidized premiums are higher than people would like. Deductibles and copayments are higher than people would like. The networks of available doctors are narrower than people would like.
These problems are all very real, and they all could be fixed.
They are not, however, problems that the American Health Care Act actually fixes. While Republicans have made several changes to the AHCA to cobble together a majority of House votes, the core of the bill remains the same: it offers stingier insurance to a narrower group of people.
This is because the AHCA does what Republicans want: it rolls back the ACA taxes. But under those circumstances, its simply not possible for the GOP to offer people the superior insurance coverage that it is promising.
The bill the House is voting on Thursday doesnt get rid of the ACAs tax credits to make it easier to buy health coverage, but it bases them on age, with younger people getting bigger credits, rather than income which means poorer Americans. especially elderly ones, will have a bigger tax burden and more difficulty affording the insurance they need.
Do Republicans Really Want To Repeal Obamacare Maybe Not
Tweet This
WASHINGTON, DC – JANUARY 07: Speaker of the House Paul Ryan shares a laugh with… Republican members of Congress after signing legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, and to cut off federal funding of Planned Parenthood during an enrollment ceremony in the Rayburn Room at the U.S. Capitol January 7, 2016 in Washington, DC. President Barack Obama has promised to veto the bill.
Here is something that may surprise you. Did you know that in the 6 ½ years since the passage of Obamacare, Republicans have not held a single hearing on the problems the law has created for ordinary people? No hearing in the House of Representatives. None in the Senate. None anywhere else. Zip. Zero. Nada.
There certainly has been no shortage of problems. It seems like every other week the New York Times brings us a new investigative report complete with gory details and eyewitness reports of victim after victim of President Obamas signature legislative accomplishment. But if you look over the subject matter for the committee hearings in Congress for the past several years, you would never know an Obamacare problem even exists.
Why is that? There have been no shortage of votes to repeal Obamacare. At last count the House has voted to repeal some or all of the hated legislation 60 times!
So lets return to the titular question.
Would House Republicans really vote to take health insurance away from 20 million people?
Eliminating Health Care Penalties
The Affordable care Act, required most Americans to be enrolled in Health Insurance since it was made affordable, otherwise a penalty would be induced. Effective 2017, congress attempted to eliminate financial penalties that were related to complying with the mandated law that every individual needs to be enrolled in Health insurance, this law however did not become effective until 2019. This policy is still valid, the penalty for having no health insurance was reduced to 0$. Individual mandates effects the decisions made by individuals regarding healthcare in that some people will not enroll since health insurance plans are no longer mandatory.
On March of 2020, the nation has undergone a global pandemic, however, several Republican-led states and the Justice Department are making the case for invalidating the ACA. This will cause at least 60 million people to not be able to afford being hospitalized, or treated which increased the number of COVID-19 cases nationwide.
This Is Why Republicans Cant Make A Better Replacement
Republicans have made a lot of political hay out of pointing out that the plans available under the Affordable Care Act are, in many ways, disappointing. Unsubsidized premiums are higher than people would like.Deductibles and copayments are higher than people would like. The networks of available doctors are narrower than people would like.
These problems are all very real, and they all could be fixed.
They are not, however, problems that any of the GOP replacement plans fix. Instead, while Republican alternatives vary in many important ways, they all fundamentally offer stingier insurance to a narrower group of people.
This is because the Republican plans all envision rolling back these ACA taxes. But under those circumstances, it’s simply not possible for the GOP to offer people the superior insurance coverage that it is promising.
Phil Klein, a top conservative health policy journalist, has urged Republicans to solve their overpromising problem by “stating a simple truth, which goes something like this: ‘We don’t believe that it is the job of the federal government to guarantee that everybody has health insurance.'”
Gop Wants To Repeal Obamacare Without A Backup Plan But Some Republicans Say That’s A Bad Idea
The Real Reason Republicans Want to Pull the Plug on Obamacare | Robert Reich
U.S.CoronavirusHealth CareObamacareCongress
A Republican-led lawsuit is leaving the fate of the Affordable Care Act hanging in the balance of the courts amid a pandemic that’s ravaged the globe and exacerbated the need for health care.
Yet GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill concede they do not have safety net legislation ready to catch the millions of Americans who would find themselves suddenly without health insurance during a potential second coronavirus wave.
Some Republicans, however, believe that needs to change.
“We need to have a plan in place to make sure that people don’t lose coverage,” said Senator Mitt Romney .
Pre-existing conditions are the “most important thing” to cover, said Senator Martha McSally. But, the Arizona Republican added, “there are many other contingencies that we need to be looking into,” referring to a wide array of issues that could arise without the law.
Republicans have tried unsuccessfully over the years to repeal and replace Obamacare with health provisions of their own. But more than three years into President Donald Trump’s first term, they acknowledge there is neither a discussion nor a plan available to simply replace the expansive health care law that is Obamacare, should it be struck down.
Senator Rick Scott , a former hospital CEO, said he’s “come up with lots of proposals. But there’s no proposal here,” he added.
Does President Trump Really Want To Repeal The Aca
Feb 25, 2020
When he introduced the 2020federal budget President Trump re-emphasized his intention to repeal theAffordable Care Act, known more popularly to most of us as Obamacare.
Perhaps that is the issue! Trumpand Obamacare!
The Affordable Care Act is irrevocably associated with the Democratic Party and ex-President Obama in particular.  Most citizens benefit from it one way or another.
Since the swing to theDemocratic Party at the Mid-Term elections in 2018 President Trump has beenremarkably quiet on his plans for replacing Obamacare if he is granted a secondterm by the American public.  Indeed, hehas made it clear that there will be no new legislation until at least 2021.
In the meantime, he will bewatching the polls and judging the voters intentions as the Democratcandidates put their healthcare policies on display.
Nobody claims the AffordableCare Act is perfect.  All agree it can beimproved.  At the 2018 mid-term electionsmore than half the voters claimed that healthcare was the major factor in theirvoting decision.  That is why it stays atthe top of the political agenda. After all, our spending on healthcare accountsfor nearly 20% of the way in which we spend the countrys income .
This may be true but there arelimits to savings from increased efficiency and inflation is inevitable.  The outcome is, necessarily, reduction inbenefits or in enrollment.
There are signs that Trump mightbe prepared to keep the subsidies and allow income-related tax relief.
Gridlock In House Stalls Trump’s Pledge To Repeal Obamacare
As a candidate for president, Donald Trump said that “real change begins with immediately repealing and replacing the disaster known as Obamacare.”
On March 24, the nation learned that it’s not happening immediately. And the road forward isn’t clear either.
Capping a frenzied week of negotiations between three House Republican factions — the party leadership, the hardline conservative House Freedom Caucus, and members of the more moderate, pragmatic wing of the party — House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., announced that he would not bring the American Health Care Act to the floor for a vote, as he had planned.
That March 24 announcement came one day after the floor vote had been pushed back to allow for last-minute changes and arm-twisting, and half a day after Trump had issued an ultimatum to House Republicans — pass the bill or he’ll move on.
In the run-up to Ryan’s announcement, vote counting by media outlets had concluded that the House GOP would lose too many votes to pass the bill if it tried.
“We came really close today, but we came up short,” Ryan said at a press conference. “I will not sugarcoat this. This was a disappointing day for us.”
For members on the party’s right flank, the American Health Care Act left in place too much of the infrastructure of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama’s signature health care law and the target of intense Republican opposition for seven years.
The Real Reason Republicans Couldnt Kill Obamacare
Democrats did the work, Republicans didntand that says a lot about the two parties.

The Affordable Care Act, the health-care law also known as Obamacare, turns 11 years old this week. Somehow, the program has not merely survived the GOPs decade-long assault. Its actually getting stronger, thanks to some major upgrades tucked in the COVID-19 relief package that President Joe Biden signed into law earlier this month.
The new provisions should enable millions of Americans to get insurance or save money on coverage they already purchase, bolstering the health-care law in precisely the way its architects had always hoped to do. And although the measures are temporary, Biden and his Democratic Party allies have pledged to pass more legislation making the changes permanent.
The expansion measures are a remarkable achievement, all the more so because Obamacares very survival seemed so improbable just a few years ago, when Donald Trump won the presidency. Wiping the law off the books had become the Republicans defining cause, and Trump had pledged to make repeal his first priority. As the reality of his victory set in, almost everybody outside the Obama White House thought the effort would succeed, and almost everybody inside did too.
That was no small thing, as Republicans were about to discover.
Baby Boomers And The Aging Population
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robert Reich failed to mention the aging population. 76M boomers were born after WW-II, between 1946 and 1964, and America wasnt prepared for that growth. Neither were other nations. There werent enough hospitals, pediatricians, schoolteachers, textbooks, playgrounds, or even bedrooms in our homes. Now, as 11,000 more baby boomers turn age 65 every day, retire, and go on Social Security and Medicare, the ability to pay for public assistance becomes more difficult. By 2029, more than 20% of the US population will be over 65 . That 1-in-5 number is up from 1-in-7 today; and by 2035, 1-in-3 US households will be headed by someone 65 or over.
Thats because people are living longer . But were also less active and have higher rates of chronic disease and disability. Almost 39% of boomers are obese, compared to about 29% in the previous generation, and 40% of them are low-income , meaning theyll need more public assistance.
The age 85+ population needing the most medical care will grow the fastest over the next few decades, equaling 4% of population by 2050, or 10 times its 1950 share  1.9M Americans are already 90+, an in 2010, people 90+ had a median income of just $14,760, about half of it from Social Security. This is a worldwide phenomenon thanks largely to longer average longevity. The United Nations says that by 2050, the older generation will be larger than the under-15 population.
Why Republicans Wouldn’t Actually Repeal Obamacare
It would be a political disaster, but it hasn’t yet stopped them from trying.
Last week, in a bold example of their governing prowess, congressional Republicans took their 62nd vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and this time they actually passed it through both houses and sent it to President Obama to be vetoed. Naturally, they were exultant at their triumph. Speaker Paul Ryan admitted that there is as yet no replacement for the ACA, but they’ll be getting around to putting one together before you know it. The fact that they’ve been promising that replacement for more than five years now might make you a bit skeptical.
What we know for sure is this: If a Republican wins the White House this November, he’ll make repeal of the ACA one of his first priorities, whether there’s a replacement ready or not. To listen to them talk, the only division between the candidates is whether they’ll do it on their first day in the Oval Office, in their first hour, or in the limo on the way back from the inauguration.
But I’ve got news for you: They aren’t going to do it, at least not in the way they’re promising. Because it would be an absolute catastrophe.
Now imagine that ten million people, the number signed up for private coverage through the exchanges, all had their coverage simultaneously thrown into doubt. Think that might cause some bad press for the party and the president who did it?
Everything You Need To Know About Why Conservatives Want To Repeal The Presidents Health Care Law

Though the Affordable Care Act passed into law in 2010, conservatives continue to fight it at every opportunity: in the courts, in state legislatures, and in Congress. Its a safe bet that as the race for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination kicks off, a cavalcade of Republican hopefuls will torment innocent Iowans with tales of how theyve fought Obamacare in the past and why theyre the ones who can finally drive a stake through its heart. But if you dont read the conservative press, you might have no idea why those of us on the right side of the political spectrum are so worked up about Obamacare. To promote cross-ideological understanding, Ive prepared this little FAQ.
Why do conservatives oppose Obamacare? Not all conservatives are alike, and there are at least some, like Avik Roy of the Manhattan Institute, who believe Obamacare should be reformed and not repealed. But as a general rule, conservatives oppose the law and would like to see it repealed for several reasons.
First, some conservatives oppose it for the same reason that liberals favor it: Through the Medicaid expansion and the exchanges, it subsidizes insurance coverage for people of modest means by raising taxes on people of less-modest means and by curbing the growth in Medicare spending. Conservatives tend not to be enthusiastic about redistribution, and theyre particularly skeptical about redistribution that isnt transparent.
Why Republicans Cant And Wont Repeal Obamacare

Now that the Republicans control both the presidency and both houses of Congress, they must put up or shut up on their promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. Here is a flat-footed prediction: the effort will fail for three reasons. First, the Affordable Care Act has largely succeeded not failed, as president-elect Trump and other Republicans falsely allege. Second, it is impossible for the stated goals of repeal to be achieved. Finally, the political fallout from the consequences of partial or total repeal would be devastating. When it comes to casting votes, enough Republicans will conclude that repeal is a bad idea and will join Democrats to sustain the basic structure of the health reform law.
Second, the stated objectives of repealing Obamacare are mutually inconsistent. Three provisions comprise the core of Obamacare. First, rules barring insurance companies from refusing to sell insurance to people because of preexisting conditions or varying premiums based on those conditions. Second, a requirement that everyone carry health insurance who can afford it. And third, subsidies for those with moderate incomes to help make such insurance affordable. The law contains many other provisions as well, but these three are core.
Trump Administration Asks Supreme Court To Strike Down Affordable Care Act
The REAL Reason Republicans Can’t Stop Trying to Repeal Obamacare
If successful, the move would permanently end the health insurance program popularly known as Obamacare and wipe out coverage for as many as 23 million Americans.
WASHINGTON The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court late Thursday to overturn the Affordable Care Act a move that, if successful, would bring a permanent end to the health insurance program popularly known as Obamacare and wipe out coverage for as many as 23 million Americans.
In an 82-page brief submitted an hour before a midnight deadline, the administration joined Republican officials in Texas and 17 other states in arguing that in 2017, Congress, then controlled by Republicans, had rendered the law unconstitutional when it zeroed out the tax penalty for not buying insurance the so-called individual mandate.
The administrations argument, coming in the thick of an election season as well as a pandemic that has devastated the economy and left millions of unemployed Americans without health coverage is sure to reignite Washingtons bitter political debate over health care.
In his brief, Solicitor General Noel J. Francisco argued that the health laws two remaining central provisions are now invalid because Congress intended that all three work together.
The court has not said when it will hear oral arguments, but they are most likely to take place in the fall, just as Americans are preparing to go to the polls in November.
Is The Supreme Court Likely To Save Obamacare
The Supreme Court is likely to leave in place the bulk of Obamacare, including key protections for pre-existing health conditions.
Conservative justices John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh appeared in two hours of arguments to be unwilling to strike down the entire law a long-held Republican goal.
The courts three liberal justices are almost certain to vote to uphold the law in its entirety and presumably would form a majority by joining a decision that cut away only the mandate, which now has no financial penalty attached to it.
Leading a group of Democratic-controlled states, California and the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives are urging the court to leave the law in place.
A decision is expected by late spring.
Repealing Obamacare Is A Huge Tax Cut For The Rich
This did not play a major overt public role in the 2009-’10 debate about the law, but the Affordable Care Act’s financing rests on a remarkably progressive base. That means that, as the Tax Policy Center has shown, repealing it would shower moneyon a remarkably small number of remarkably wealthy Americans.
The two big relevant taxes, according to the TPC’s Howard Gleckman, are “a 0.9 percent payroll surtax on earnings and a 3.8 percent taxon net investment income for individuals with incomes exceeding $200,000.” That payroll tax hike hits a reasonably broad swath of affluent individuals, but in a relatively minor way. The 3.8 percent tax on net investment income , by contrast, is a pretty hefty tax, but one that falls overwhelmingly on the small number of people who have hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in investment income.
For the bottom 60 percent of the population that is, households earning less than about $67,000 a year repeal of the ACA would end up meaning an increase in taxes due to the loss of ACA tax credits.
But people in the top 1 percent of the income distribution those with incomes of over about $430,000 would see their taxes fall by an average of $25,000 a year.

Tumblr media

While government efforts to exercise more control over user data and online discourse mirror global efforts to control tech giants and their vast influence, Internet firms are particularly at stake in India because – excluded from China – it’s the only billion people market themselves to the market. In contrast to authoritarian regimes like Beijing, critics fear that measures by the world’s largest democracy could offer other governments a blueprint to invade privacy in the name of internal security.
“India has made draconian changes to its rules,” the Electronic Frontier Foundation wrote in April. They “create new opportunities for state surveillance of citizens. These rules threaten the idea of a free and open Internet based on international human rights standards. “
Holding internet companies accountable for published content – and in some cases making executives personally liable – goes beyond what many countries require and is a key point of contention. Trapped in this tug of war are hundreds of millions in India whose use of the Internet is now at stake. Facebook’s WhatsApp is on trial, arguing that the new rules would bypass encryption, a key feature the company has touted in global marketing.
Modi’s government has been targeting Twitter for the past few months as it is considered the social platform of choice for politicians and celebrities. Cabinet ministers have accused the US company of defying orders and proposed removing it from its intermediary status, which should make it directly responsible for the content posted by its users. In May, Twitter tagged tweets from multiple accounts linked to Modi’s party as “compromised media”. Police investigators have since called officers and their offices, putting business in the world’s second most populous nation at risk.
“Twitter is in a no-win situation here,” said Mike Masnick, founder of tech policy blog Techdirt. “Giving in to excessive government demands not only suppresses important speeches, but opens the company to even more pressure to silence government critics in India and elsewhere.”
Representatives from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), which oversees regulation, did not respond to multiple calls and emails asking for comments. WhatsApp and Twitter representatives declined to comment beyond previous statements that they were anxious to comply with state regulations.
India has stated that it welcomes criticism and dissent and its new rules are aimed at protecting public order and preventing harmful content such as child pornography and abuse videos. The country has been grappling with an explosion of fake news on social media in recent years, much of it targeting a largely first-time internet audience unaccustomed to sifting through online falsehoods. It came into conflict with Facebook in 2018 when the government asked WhatsApp to curb the spread of news related to two dozen lynchings. Facebook’s response then was to restrict the forwarding of messages and mark them as “forwarded”.
WhatsApp has more than 530 million users in India, Alphabet Inc.’s YouTube has about 450 million, and Facebook has over 410 million users, making it the largest market for all three. Twitter, a comparatively small minnow with 17.5 million users, is one of the fastest growing areas in India. But that limited reach makes it vulnerable in a nation that was ready to ban popular foreign services a year ago when it banned TikTok – which had 200 million users registered in the country – WeChat and hundreds more China-made apps after a violent clash on the controversial border between the two countries.
As in the US, however, Twitter exerts a disproportionate influence in relation to its size. It is vital to the political discussion in India, and Modi himself is an avid user and has a following of over 69 million, demonstrating its international reach. While ministers have tweeted belligerently on Twitter, no one has yet openly threatened to ban it.
Even during the conflict with China, India can still draw inspiration from its neighbor’s experiences, where the void left by foreign social platforms blocked to resisting strict censorship has created space for domestic alternatives to develop. In fact, Modi’s colleagues have been actively promoting Koo, a local microblogging rival.
“I have to imagine Modi looking at China thinking it can achieve economic prosperity while exercising a lot of authoritarian control over language and communication,” said Katie Harbath, a former Facebook director of public policy with the US the country’s officials worked together in the fall of 2013, ahead of Modi’s first election as prime minister, through earlier this year. “So the big question is where will India go?”
An open letter signed by 14 nonprofits urged the government to suspend implementation of India’s new IT rules that went into effect last month.
Much of the current resentment stems from the government’s drive to control discussions since November over peasant protests, which have centered on proposals to tax farm inputs and remove minimum price support. The government forced Twitter to block some popular figures expressing support for the protesters – such as Punjabi singer JazzyB, whose account has 1.2 million followers but is inaccessible within India – although the company does not have all of its Has implemented demands.
US and EU lawmakers should pay more attention to the South Asian country, Harbath said. Like Masnick, she sees few good opportunities for private companies to oppose laws from above, and it would be up to the international community to steer India back onto a more liberal path.
The US has embraced India as a counterweight to China in recent years and has strengthened defense cooperation as part of the four-nation quad group, which also includes the other democracies of Japan and Australia. For its part, Modi’s government has sought to attract companies looking to diversify their supply chains away from China – which gives it an incentive to maintain good relationships with the Biden government and the American business community at large.
Relationships with American social platforms were much warmer and more cooperative in the early years of the Modi administration. In 2015, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg invited Modi to a town hall event at the company’s headquarters. The two men hugged and smiled at the cameras. But, Harbath said, whenever the government’s popularity has waned since then – following measures like the sudden currency demonetization in 2016 – it has become more aggressive to steer public narrative.
Most recently, Modi’s government was targeted on Twitter by critics who say it botched efforts to fight Covid-19. In response, she has tried to block recent criticism on Twitter, which shows anger and disappointment with the Indian leader.
“Silicon Valley’s social media platforms have a huge base in India and the confrontation is who controls these users,” said Tarun Pathak from Delhi, research director at Counterpoint. “In the next three to five years, around 300 million new users equal to the US population will go online in India, shifting the balance of power for these companies eastward.”
Twitter appointed an interim compliance officer two weeks ago, long after its colleagues assigned permanent representatives, and that person is due to leave the position. A company spokesman did not want to confirm or comment on the reasons.

Meanwhile, Kenner told ET that Twitter had given the government “in writing” details of its newly appointed interim chief compliance officer. Previously, she had contracted a lawyer to act as a complaint and node officer.
On Friday, the head of MEITY, Ravi Shankar Prasad, temporarily blocked his Twitter account because of a complaint about alleged copyright infringement, according to the company. When the frequent Twitter antagonist regained access, he wrote that his “actions indicate that they are not the harbinger of the freedom of expression they claim to be, only interested in pursuing their own ends.” Twitter declined to comment, but cited its original statement that Prasad’s account was temporarily suspended for copyright infringement.
Twitter was recently quoted by Uttar Pradesh police along with journalists and opposition party leaders for hosting a video provoking communal discord, according to local reports. Delhi police also said they are investigating another complaint against Twitter’s Indian chief Manish Maheshwari related to this video allegedly alleging that majority Hindus are attacking a minority Muslim man. The company has since removed the offensive clip and has left no comment other than its statement of compliance with local laws. The government of Uttar Pradesh has petitioned the Supreme Court of India to have Maheshwari lifted from arrest by a lower court.
Without pressure on India to reclaim its online power – as the Washington Post editors called this month – companies like Twitter must carefully weigh their decisions to avoid being ousted by a huge market while upholding their principles, said Harbath.
It is a delicate dance that is becoming more and more common around the world. Countries as far away as Australia, Poland and Nigeria are cracking down on social platforms, claiming they have undue power to determine what is acceptable and meddling in domestic affairs. Nigeria banned Twitter this month and Germany’s hate speech rules will require platforms to remove illegal content quickly or face penalties.
“It’s complicated. A decision by these companies in India will not apply to India alone,” said Prateek Waghre of Bangalore, a research analyst with the Takshashila Institution who studies digital platform governance serve the rest of the world. “

IT and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was in the thick of it as the new social media guidelines became a focal point for a showdown between the government and Twitter and WhatsApp on privacy and free speech issues.
