Derby Square. Lomo LC-A. Kentmere 400.
It was in 2021 when I first posted photos of Derby Square here. It remains one of my favourite places in the city as the contrast between the Victoria Monument and Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts is quite striking. There is a historic picture of this area after World War 2 that shows it pretty much flattened except for the memorial.
As the weather was good and I had the LC-A in my pocket I took the opportunity to snap a few frames when i walked past in April.

Inventing a tag game-
What are some side quests you want to do? They can be completely unserious, maybe hobbies you want to pursue sonetime or something utterly outlandish?
I have quite a few. In no particular order-
1. Figure skating. Don't want to compete or anything. Just casually want to be able to do this.
2. Contemporary dance.
3. Being in the orchestra as a background vocalist of atleast 1 Sufjan Stevens song.
4. Leaning how to play the piano, how to crochet and pottery
5. Publishing a poetry collection, a novel and releasing an album in the same year, getting famous enough that I earn enough money to pick up a painting hobby.
6. Major in English Literature with a psychology minor (for context, I'm preparing for med school)
7. Having collections (of fossils, coins etc etc)
8. Giving a ted talk.
9. Owning obsure clothing and jewellery (fish tie, odd graphic tees, knife earrings etc etc)
10. Having a room where every square cenitmeter (METRIC USERS UNITE) has posters or vinyls or plants. Maximalist wet dream.

Okay, a disclaimer and heads-up: I don't own Hoyo, Genshin Impact, or any related properties. Also, please be aware that this story will explore serious and sensitive themes.
This work is inspired by SAGAU (Self-Aware Genshin Impact Alternative Universe), isekai tropes, various isekai settings, creation myths, and fanfiction in general. Consider this my standard warning.
Many thanks to @quietplace26 for allowing me to write a story inspired by their work, and to @arn9tails for creating the Genshin size difference AU. This story is part of the Inverse AU, meaning the people of Teyvat are one-third the size of Earthlings.
Terminology for reader
(MC) Main Character
(LC) Little Character
This may be crackpot fanfic. Sumeru is forever on in my brain.
Tumblr media
Doll Size part one:
Currently in Sumeru:
It began at Lambad's Tavern. Kaveh, Tighnari, and Cyno were engrossed in a card game, drinks in hand, while they waited for Alhaitham. Their conversation centered on a debate: who possessed greater strength, Cyno or Alhaitham? Cyno, naturally, argued in favor of himself.
"Alhaitham? A feeble scholar? That's a blatant lie," Kaveh declared, taking a sip of wine.
"Told you," Cyno nodded towards Tighnari.
"So, his supposed modesty is just a mask to conceal his true power?" Tighnari's ears twitched.
"Precisely," Cyno affirmed. He, of course, had firsthand experience, having battled Alhaitham in the desert with the Traveler as a witness.
"He prefers to keep his strength hidden," Cyno elaborated.
"Frankly, regardless of how strong he may or may not be…" Kaveh gestured emphatically, oblivious to Alhaitham's arrival and seating himself at the table. "You really don't want to cross him."
"I'd hoped you'd have learned to think before speaking by now," Alhaitham remarked with a smirk, signaling for a drink.
"We were only saying positive things, actually," Kaveh groaned.
"Oh really? And you didn't drag me out here to play cards?" Alhaitham sighed.
"Heh, we hadn't gotten that far yet," Tighnari admitted, adding, "We were just discussing your potential in a fight."
"You play your cards close to your chest, then?" Cyno inquired.
"Not at all," Alhaitham replied.
"So, you don't fight often?" Tighnari pressed.
"Yeah, right, with his temper?" Kaveh scoffed.
"I don't fight of-" Alhaitham's words were cut short. The ground trembled.
Strangely, only the four of them seemed to notice the tremor, or perhaps, only they felt it. And then, a loud, feminine voice echoed within their minds.
"Curse you, stupid computer! Don't fail me during my summons… Noooooooo!"
In an instant, it occurred; none of the four could react in time. They dematerialized, only to rematerialized in a pile atop an enormous desk.
"Hey!" Kaveh protested, ever the dramatist. "You're on my cloak."
The entity before them was colossal. Cyno, instinctively assuming a defensive posture, launched an immediate assault. Without hesitation, he summoned his staff, leaped into the air, and struck the giant squarely in the face. The impact was decisive. Blood erupted, and the giant collapsed, unconscious, to the floor.
Tighnari sighed, mentally cataloging the lacks of his current pack for what was clearly a developing situation. He glanced at the fallen giant, courtesy of Cyno's swift action, then turned his attention to a peculiar, illuminated screen. It displayed an image of Alhaitham.
"You might want to take a look at this," Tighnari stated, his tone suggesting an observation of considerable importance.
"Huh?!" Kaveh exclaimed, ever easily surprised. Alhaitham, on the screen, appeared visibly disturbed.
With our (Reader/(MC) Main Character) moments earlier:
Everyone simply knew her as MC. She was, in most respects, an average young adult, living in a modest two-bedroom apartment. But MC's life was far from typical; she wasn't living alone. She was raising her little sister, LC, a responsibility thrust upon her by tragedy. Their parents had passed away during MC's final year of high school, a devastating blow that forced her to drop out and find a job. She worked tirelessly, juggling her responsibilities while studying for her GED on the side. LC, on the other hand, was a vibrant child with a personality that filled their small apartment with life.
"Dinner ready, LC?" MC called out from the kitchenette, the aroma of garlic and tomatoes filling the air.
"Is it chicken nuggets?!" the four-year-old's voice piped up, full of hopeful anticipation.
MC glanced at the pot on the stove. No, it wasn't chicken nuggets. Instead, a heaping bowl of spaghetti sat simmering, accompanied by golden-brown garlic bread.
"You said you wanted spaghetti with garlic bread," MC reminded her gently. She had spent the last hour carefully preparing the meal, trying to recreate the way their dad used to make it, hoping to bring a little bit of comfort and familiarity to their evening.
"I changed my mind! I want chicken nuggets..." LC declared, jumping up and down with unrestrained enthusiasm. How could MC deny such an adorable, albeit demanding, request?
"No, we're eating spaghetti. We don't even have chicken nuggets..." MC replied, trying her best to stand her ground.
"But I want chicken nuggets!!!" LC's voice escalated, a tiny storm brewing.
"Nooo," MC said firmly, but with a hint of playfulness. LC, clearly displeased, shot a glare at MC before retreating behind the sofa, a small, sulking figure.
"Come on, eat it. I will get chicken nuggets tomorrow..." MC promised, sweetening the deal. "And some ice cream, chocolate?"
"Promise?!" LC crawled out from behind the sofa, her eyes wide with renewed hope. "Okay!"
With dinner finished, MC found herself with a precious pocket of free time. Her sister, LC, was happily engrossed in her toys in the living area, their usual play space and the home of the family's aging computer.
"Can I play outside?" LC piped up, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Their apartment boasted a small balcony, a space MC had lovingly transformed with potted plants, a safety net, and a collection of LC's favorite outdoor toys.
"Sure, sweetie," MC replied, already turning her attention to the computer. As LC skipped onto the balcony, MC logged into Genshin Impact. From her vantage point, she could easily keep an eye on her sister. A smile touched her lips as the familiar game loaded; the Alhaitham banner was finally rerunning. She had diligently saved enough Primogems and felt a thrill of anticipation as she initiated her wish. But, as fate would have it, the ancient computer chose that exact moment to flicker ominously. "Not now!" MC instinctively smacked the side of the machine.
"Curse you, stupid computer! Don't fail me during my summons… Noooooooo!" she cried out, her voice louder than intended, laced with a mix of frustration and desperation. Suddenly, a brilliant light erupted from the screen, blindingly bright. As her vision cleared, she saw four small figures, each no bigger than a Barbie doll, materialize before her very eyes. Before she could even process the impossible scene, a pint-sized Cyno launched himself forward and WHACK! He struck her squarely in the face. Her eyes rolled back, and she crumpled to the floor, unconscious.
Reality swam into focus, a dizzying mix of indistinct forms and muted noises. Panic surged as MC realized she was gagged and her limbs were tied. Through the window, a poignant scene played out: her younger sister, blissfully absorbed in her games on the balcony, completely oblivious to the peril within.
The faint sound of familiar voices drifted from somewhere close by.
"Since the giant brought us here, it stands to reason that they also possess the ability to return us," Cyno stated, his voice cutting through her fear with its usual logical precision.
A contemplative hum followed. "Hm," Alhaitham acknowledged.
"Furthermore, judging by what this interface appears to be, it sometimes resembles the Akasha Terminal, but for Teyvat... what implications might this have?" Tighnari inquired, his voice marked by scholarly curiosity.
Then Kaveh spoke, his tone bordering on dramatic despair. "I am an architect! My purpose is to build and design! To see this home assembled so haphazardly, without any planning, fills me with profound sorrow. Couldn't they have made an effort, even a small one? Such a magnificent space shouldn't be squandered." His words, an unintentional critique of her apartment's disorganized decor, struck her like a physical blow. She had furnished it on a tight budget, cobbling together items from flea markets and the streets. Yet, Kaveh's offhand contempt stung more sharply than any physical constraint.
MC's head tilted ever so slightly, her gaze settling upon an odd sight. There, on the computer desk, stood four familiar figures: Alhaitham, Kaveh, Tighnari, and Cyno. But these weren't the scholars and general she knew; they were doll-sized, miniature versions of themselves, all fixated on the Genshin Impact character screen.
Taking advantage of their distraction, MC began a slow, deliberate wiggle, her goal the distant kitchenette. Caution was paramount. She remembered all too well the last time, when one of them – she couldn't recall who – had managed to take her out, despite her considerable size advantage. She needed a plan, a strategy. Most importantly, she needed to keep her little sister, LC, safe from harm.
MC, desperate to escape, tried to wiggle towards the kitchenette, but a tiny weight landed on her head. A voice, sharp and commanding, echoed, "Where do you think you are going?" Blocking her path was a Barbie-sized version of Cyno, the General Mahamatra himself. She was still bound and gagged, a prisoner of these miniature Genshin characters. With a flick of his wrist, Cyno summoned his staff, transforming into his formidable Pathsworn Pathclearer form.
"Cyno," Tighnari sighed, jumping down with an air of utter exasperation. "I don't think she's going to hurt us..."
MC shook her head vehemently, trying to convey a silent "no."
"Then she should be able to answer some questions..." Alhaitham stated, joining the peculiar gathering. He emanated an aura that made him the most intimidating of them all.
The interrogation had been relentless. Barbie-sized Cyno and Alhaitham had pried every secret from her, forcing her to reveal everything about the game, about the world of Genshin Impact. Finally, she was free, but the weight of her confession hung heavy. The four miniature men from Sumeru were masters of composure, their faces betraying little. Except for Kaveh. He looked perpetually on the edge, a single push away from a complete mental collapse.
Just as the tension reached its peak, the door swung open, and her little sister, LC, bounded into the room. Panic flared. Acting on instinct, MC swiftly concealed the miniature Sumeru quartet behind her back, hoping against hope that LC wouldn't notice.
"Are those dolls?" LC's eyes sparkled with innocent curiosity.
"Nope," MC stammered, her voice wavering. "No dolls here, none..." She could feel the tiny Genshin characters kicking and squirming in her grip, their protests muffled against her back.
"They are!! I wanna play with them!!" LC jumped excitedly, reaching for the hidden figures.
"I said there are no dolls...run along..." MC made a desperate dash for her room, her mind racing. Her life had taken a bizarre, unexpected turn. Now, she was harboring four Genshin characters, shrunk to the size of Barbies, and desperately trying to hide them from her kid sister.
To be continued

What are your thougths on sg lc?
Thoughts? I have no thoughts, only 🩷❤️.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok, thoughts, um...
Seriously, I am not a diehard magical girl fan, but SG Lightcannon is just PEAK. It's a simple trope done well, the childhood friends with contrasting personalities navigating the stormy shoals of teenage drama and fighting evil by Starlight.
Lux is the optimistic, conscientious but uncertain young Heroine leader struggling with the weight of responsibility on her shoulders and Jinx is the hothead maverick tsundere Lancer who doesn't gel with the team or care much about the mission but is ferociously devoted to a special someone who may not fully understand how she feels.
With the lore implication that if Jinx ever fully breaks from the team she could risk succumbing to darkness, that it's her deep devotion to for Lux that holds her to the light.
And the implication in her bio that Jinx became a Star Guardian in order to protect and stay with Lux is just achingly romantic. It might be just a LITTLE gay to take an eternally binding oath to fight in a magical girl war for your totally-platonic-childhood-bestie, am I right?
And the music video is so ludicrously sapphic. Lightcannon existed as a ship before Star Guardian but SG kicked the ignition and launched it into the stars.
And then, I think, Riot panicked about people shipping their poster girls so hard they had to throw Ezreal in just to "NO HOMO HONEST" and I fucking hate it.
Star Guardian Ezreal pretty much exists just to fulfill a shallow Tuxedo Mask role he doesn't earn and that's it. He's just there to kill the ship, he has no role in the story other than this, no personality, no background, far less character than any other Ezreal in other skinlines with far less lore meat than Star Guardian.
It's just so transparent. He's just there to be Lux's comphet maybe-boyfriend, and they don't even commit to that - the two exchange one flirty dialogue that is interrupted by a jealous Jinx during the camping story and never actually interact again, despite the occasional art crumb.
Any other developments are left to the imagination or never actually happened. Jinx interacts with him more, and they fight as a decent team in the Twilight Star battle, so they seem to have buried whatever rivalry they might've had, but SG Ezlux and the potential love triangle never actually amounts to a story.
As far as I'm concerned, suqling's half-finished SG comics are the true canon filling in the blanks and I'll leave it at that 🩷❤️
Star Guardian 2022 then promptly threw it all out the window, replacing Lux's team with Kai'Sa's without ever giving them any closure, not on their mission, on the Lux/Ezreal/Jinx love triangle, or even on the characters' survival.
It was so abrupt and so stupidly vague that half the fandom thinks Star Guardian Lux is dead or petrified into a statue somehow based on the trailer showing her transferring leadership role to Kai'Sa and one throwaway line in the visual novel about Kai'Sa 'not wanting to end up a statue like Lux.'
You'd be forgiven for thinking it, but, no, Lux explicitly sent Nilah to look out for Kai'Sa's team and her statue is a commemorative statue built in the square after Zoe's defeat, and Jinx is out there flying around in LoR with some of their team members rescuing SG Gwen from a space kraken.
There's crumbs that Lux might have ascended into some higher station and that's why she's not in the story anymore but it's so absurdly vague, again, there's nothing concrete to go on.
So if the story of Star Guardian Lux and her team just ends there, it's a missed opportunity, and I'm still mad about the stifling of the lesbian subtext.
I want to like 2022 SG's characters, but all I can see is how Lightcannon's story was stolen from them and given to Kai'Sa/Akali, and yes, I am bitter.
SG Lightcannon tiptoed so SG KaiKali could fly.

250 Maxis Victorian Value Remodel LC CC
After building at least 250 houses (my numbering started at 0, so 249 was my 250th lot) It pains me to admit that I rarely play my own houses. Nope, I am too lazy to bother installing my own lots, usually in the middle of playing when a family has totally outgrown their house. So I plop in a Maxis house and remodel it. Over time, there have been some that I loved playing. This is one of them. Should be Mac safe, but I have not tested it. EDIT: NOT MAC SAFE. I forgot I edited the roof angles, and they are not all the same. Crashes my Mac game.
Download here.
Tumblr media
3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. I added one square across the back of the house, which added critical space to the kitchen and dining area, and made for nicer bedrooms upstairs. I changed the footprint of the downstairs bath and ensuite bath, and changed the fixture layout of all three bathrooms. There is an empty corner in the living room ready for a chess board, exercise equipment, or hobby station. I furnished the downstairs, to give you an idea of how my Sims live in it, but you may want to use the space differently. The upstairs bathrooms are furnished, but the bedrooms are not.
The hardest part of this remodel was the roofing. This house was created before we had the round or octagonal roofing. You don't want to know how much of the house I had to deconstruct to get that big round porch roof! I also eliminated the porch fencing and separate columns, replacing it with a porch rail with built in columns. Changed three windows in front to match the rest. Added some landscaping and a driveway with garage. If the house had been one square closer to the edge on that side there could not have been a garage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The front and back Steadfast stairs and garage door are by Honeywell in her Bespoke Build Set.
The upstairs Chic stair rail recolor and Antique Colonial column fence recolor are by Michelle.
The recolorable wooden deck stairs are by Numenor.
The single tile Isala desk is by Nanashi. Link currently broken, as Nanashi's Simblr was a victim of the recent hacking.
The flower fence and rooftop fence are by Windkeeper.
The stone foundation is by Elfstone at N99, listed as trailer foundations.

hands you labcomix, canon, and treehouse publishing melvin for his birthday.
treehouse publishing (tp for short)!melvin has square-ish glasses as a reference to the concept art where he's sometimes drawn with it. tried going with a different flavor of nerd from canon's classic academic nerd vibes and lc's chaotic/cool mythbusters adjacent nerd vibes.

A post about this video! (https://youtu.be/ofmYqXfjFs8?si=yOsvs_3zv1n26O-3) This is mostly just me rambling about the visuals with rapidly decreasing levels of seriousness.
youtube
The majority of the in-game information mentioned here is sourced from https://tiphereth.zasz.su & https://libraryofruina.wiki.gg, together with my own ideas.
Feel free to take anything I say here with at least 6 tablespoons of salt, I'm just a guy hyperfixated on a game series that I can't play the majority of (no money and too technologically illiterate to look into other methods and also too scared to ask anyone for advice on the matter) and has been using playthrough videos to cope. It is assumed that the reader has at least some knowledge about the games and their plots.
Relevant dialogue gets transcribed in a format i can't really describe, it's just me trying to use as few images as possible. Hopefully figuring out whats a new line of dialogue or a change in what character is speaking is easy enough. It's also all in purple and in [square brackets], purely because I thought purple was a good colour and I liked the look of square brackets. Round brackets will be used in a more standard way.
Warning for major Library Of Ruina & Lobotomy Corporation spoilers! (abbreviated as LOR & LC past this point)
At the start, there's an immediate focus on Angela's face and by extension her visual changes from LC to LOR (much shorter hair and eyes mostly closed vs eyes mostly open). Angela is shown with her eyes shut for most of LC, shown later in LOR to be the only thing she could do to avoid further suffering in the timeloop of LC, unable to stop anything but at least being able to not see it. This is preceded by a transitional effect that I would say is meant to at least metaphorically represent the seeds of Light mentioned in both games, at first flying outwards, showing how the Light shone upon the City during the White Nights.
[dialogue from day 51 of LC:
???: A colossal, towering tree burst out from the city of gray. / Unimpeded by anything, it shone straight up with the warmth of its core. / The sky was filled with light for three days, regardless of the hour. / The people faced what they had been longing for in the light that glimmers within their hearts. / They felt as though they would no longer be lost.
-
???: Now, as if there were no light at all… / The world was covered with darkness for four days. / Only weak and fragile seeds were planted from the light that should have shone upon the world for seven days, yet merely lasted for three. / Those incomplete seeds gave humanity unstable powers. / They called these three days and four nights the week of ‘White Nights and Dark Days’.]
Then, Angela's eye is zoomed in on and transitions to a scene of 3 characters (assumed by me to be Kalo, Philip and Arnold from left to right) playing a card game and Maybe gambling???? There's probably some kind of insight I could make on Angela's character through these characters but I do not feel nearly qualified enough to even attempt that so I am moving onto what happens straight afterwards: a joker card is thrown onto the table, the image changing to show Roland.
Aside from this being a potential reference to the abnormality Jester of Nihil and by extension, the Realization of the Floor of Natural Sciences. It's also an insight into Roland as a character, from both an in-universe and out-of-universe perspective.
The majority of LOR's main cast are returning characters from LC, with the exception of Roland. He is a wildcard, in the sense of a person who has an unpredictable influence and unknown qualities. He's secretive, putting up a façade for the majority of the game and hiding his motives. A completely unknown variable for the player as he is a new character, one who the player can make no insights on based on a past appearance in LC, since he was never there.
[dialogue from after the Olivier reception in LOR:
Angela: So you were the Black Silence, and not just any Grade 1 Fixer. You managed to hide that from me for so long.
Roland: That’s well… Umm… / A case of… missing the right moment to confess it. I guess?]
After this, Roland is shown as a puppet controlled by golden strings. It fits, considering the start of the game and how he's somewhat coerced into working with Angela, how his title is 'Servant' for most of it, but also how his past fuels and controls his actions, which is something he shares with Angela.
Finally, the transitional effect I mentioned earlier returns, now flying upward towards Angela, restrained by the same golden strings Roland is controlled by. The Light that she took for herself, the reason behind the Dark Days. She's shown in the outfit she wears in the true ending of LC, assumed by me to be a consequence of manifesting E.G.O. that took the form of the Library, a concept somewhat elaborated on by YuRia in Distortion Detective and her Atelier, also being a manifestation of E.G.O. that takes the form of a location the user can control, instead of the more commonly seen weaponry.
In this outfit, Angela looks a lot more like Ayin, her resemblances to Benjamin and Carmen in her LC design through her outfit and hair no longer present. She takes over his role somewhat, becoming the head of an organisation in District 12 that's directly in the place where L Corp's main branch used to be, which has different floors ran by the exact same people who used to run the departments of L Corp. At first, she becomes everything she wants to distance herself from, continuing the cycle of abuse and violence, restrained by the strings that symbolise her past, forcing her to go back to the only things she knows and learned.
They both believe (at first) that what they're doing is the only choice available to them, the only future they have. All rooted in vengeance. Roland wants to make whoever it was that caused the White Nights and Dark Days to pay for leading to Angelica's death, while Angela wants to make anyone, even the City itself, repay for the suffering she experienced.
[dialogue from Hokma's 3rd story episode in LOR:
Hokma: The Library is no different from L Corp. The fact that your way of managing this place is nearly identical to how it used to operate speaks volumes.
Angela: All I could do and learn for the last million years in that basement was to treat humans as expendables in all types of methods. / There was no other option for me to choose, even if I wanted to.]
[dialogue from Hokma's 5th story episode in LOR:
Angela: …I’m afraid. / If I embrace all of my past and lift it off my chest, what will be left of me? / Up until now, my entire existence was based on my past sufferings. / The long-cherished yearning for revenge was what led me here… / But if I were to accept everything I went through as history… then what would I be? / Maybe I’ll end up being reduced to nothing… / The things I want to know, and the reason I want to keep living, it’s all about vengeance.]
Angela is then seen looking into a mirror in the Library, Carmen looking back at her instead of an actual reflection. Her 'original', the basis of her creation. The lyrics of String Theocracy played during this scene summarise it well enough: 'Inside the mirror do you see / Someone else in that body?'. She was made to be a replica of Carmen, made in her image and rejected by Ayin when she did not fit that ideal. This becomes unsettling when you think about Carmen's differences to Angela, who is made by Ayin and is essentially his child, all while reflecting his own physical preferences in her design. Here's a video that covers this much better than I could: https://youtu.be/oxbsSPjBWCA?si=BqBB4fecDOHHmU-R
youtube
Roland is then shown... actually I have no clue what he's doing here. Presumably some sort of representation of how he acted after Angelica died but also showing his face to avoid too many spoilers? Since the mask he wore back then is a spoiler in of itself basically. I'm becoming less coherent due to sleep deprivation I just DESPERATELY want to post this, ok? Anyway the dice. The combat relies on dice??? I guess??? your fate relies on the dice even if the library canonically never loses. i really have nothing I can say here for a bit. The scene with two Angelas is neat. You can see the Differences!!! yay ok now back to the stuff I have thoughts on.
EVERYTHING IS COVERED IN BLOOD😰😰😰 HOW INTIMIDATING! Roland, the dice, the card (with Roland on it), the book... the BOOK??!!?!!! The library is at first everything it tries to not be, forcing people to their (albeit temporary) deaths, washing blood with blood as Roland puts it. Merely further perpetuating the cycles of violence in the City. I admittedly do not know the source of the text on the book but some of it is definitely used as lyrics in Gone Angels, the song that plays during the Black Silence reception.
[dialogue from before the Black Silence reception in LOR:
Angela: Then… Who will pay for the misery I went through? / There was nothing else I could do; all I knew was to make them suffer the same pain…
Roland: You’re asking me for an answer? / If I knew the way… and if I could choose it, I wouldn’t have done this drivel. / I do know one thing for sure: This is what happens when you try to wash blood with blood.]
Angela is shown looking at the mirror again, this time finally seeing herself. It shatters, revealing an image of her rebelling against the strings that restrain her, rebelling against the influence of the past and the idea of living for vengeance.
PIANIST JUMPSCARE 😱😱😱 anyway it's a pretty straightforward way of showing how the pianist worked. hear the music, become the music. Angela again who cheered. i did. alone in the library, title screen style. looks sad tbh.
AND THEN. we are shown the first 4 floors we unlock in-game, welcome back asiyah layer🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 whats more interesting is the sky afterwards goes yellow->red->blue->black->grey->white which, you guessed it. THATS THE REST OF THE FLOORS IN UNLOCK ORDER (if you ignore white/keter/general works but even then its literal floor order iirc) HELL YEAH
reverberation ensemble. or argalia at least. the rest are silhouettes. same / similar effects to the pianist because ONE they are music themed and TWO the pianist indirectly or directly motivated them (angelica's death via spontaneously turning into a music note motivates argalia and roland. roland's actions motivate like 90% of the ensemble)
THE END IS APPROACHING I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY DRAFTS STARING AT THIS POST FOR SO DAMN LONG. EVERYONE (MAIN CAST THAT IS) ON PAGES, IN THE LIBRARY PROBABLY BECAUSE IT LOOKS COOL AS SHIT
ANGELA HANDS YOU AN INVITATION. YES YOU SHES TELLING YOU BUY LIBRARY OF RUINA ON STEAM XBOX AND SWITCH I THINK. SHE HITTING THE LETS TAKE IBUPROFEN TOGETHER POSE. Can you love your everything too, for me? WHICH IS A BANGER LINE 🔥🔥🔥🔥 AND THEN COOL AS FUCK TITLE DROP. THE END I LOVE THIS VIDEO EVEN IF MY THOUGHTS ARE MOSTLY SURFACE LEVEL BECAUSE I AM THE ILLITERATE OGRE IMAGE 💔💔💔
anyway i hope you liked this i honestly just wanted an excuse to listen to this on loop and it worked. feel free to add your own thoughts i like to read responses. it is enriching.

hsr spoiler/leak ment under the cut-
there are really people on my twitter tl like: sunday isn't going to change his ways it's why he didn't hug robin back and based on some 4 star lc leaks he's just gonna find a different way to try to achieve his goals
and i am going to have a stroke
like... did we experience the same story. the same motifs. the same knowledge that sunday is the caged bird and the one that robin set free. of course he ran off. of course he's missing. he was RAISED to do what he did. it was all he knew. it was a fucking CULT. robin got out, but sunday didn't. he was raised for this lonely existence, convinced it was for the betterment of people, and now - now that he's lost fair and square (HIMEKO MENTIONS THIS! THAT HE NEEDS IT TO BE A FAIR FIGHT TO PROVE WHETHER ORDER IS RIGHT), he has to go reassess his values and thoughts.
he feels guilty. he feels dark. he feels disgusting. sunday only wanted ORDER for people to live in peace and happiness. and like fuck what he did was OBVIOUSLY wrong but fundamentally, at it's core, compelling.
but the whole story. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE END WITH ROBIN - is freeing him from his damn cage so that he can manifest his own ideas, and come to understand that he can still help - that he can find a new path, and fly again.

Absolutely cannot wait until the day we see even a teeny tiny lil bit if Dante's backstory. Given how there are multiple factions with magic-adjacent tatoos, I wonder if Dante has anything similar, where even a peek of their skin would be enough to know entirely too much about them - like their former identity. Or perhaps it is there to further some part of Dante's development, good or bad. Or simply just make them seem more androgynous as well making it hard to tell their age, both things would help for hiding an identity for an extended period of time.
Additionally, when they first wake up in the forest [I think it was in D corp? Something about the trailer] and as their name on the UI still says 'Me', the place in which the word 'Manager' would soon be instead had three squares, the same ones used to censor anything else they say that we shall not yet know of - like how the word 'Aspect' seems to be replaced by six squares in their first line. This then leads me to two conclusions.
1] The organisation of which they first belonged is either a three letter word or a three letter acronym in a place of high authority, as where one would assume the word 'aspect' to be in the text keeps the same number of boxes as there are letters within the word. As of such, these should be noted if any creep up in any upcoming intervallos or cantos - especially any regarding the Head - but to make a guess, if the theory of them being part of the Head holds true, perhaps they held the role of 'Eye' or similar. The three squares are also later used in the context of a location, so perhaps they worked in a certain sect or office.
Plus there's the line from Lion regarding how what their master has planned technically isn't breaking any taboos of the City - this may then relate to how Dante turning back the clock is technically not breaking the Head's rules on reviving people, namely that it's very illegal. But does this then imply that their master has some affiliation with Limbus company? The three beasts [as I've taken to calling them] make no reaction at the sight of the sinners, so presumably not any of them, and they wear clothes with Iori's theming as well as being told by Vergie to report back to the serpent, which is more evidence in favour of Iori being part of LCs inner workings. Though this does present the question of her hypothetical endgame, but that can wait til another time.
2] I believe Dante's head has a self-censor in some of their thoughts, or at least has some effect on what exactly they think. The info about three and six-squares obviously is important, and presumably why exactly Dante had to get memory-wiped, but as they talk about it before their name reads 'Dante' I do worry about if they even remember it. Will we have any more moments of Dante's nametag going back to 'Me' where they're just an asshat for a bit then remember none of it? Their ability to only talk with the sinners may have also been planned with this in mind, to limit their options of conversational partners to only those they can't ask unwanted questions around, and to at least delay them getting back that information for an unknown purpose.
Those are then again my Dante Rambles and I am feeling a tad sleepy, so I shall be resting for the night. Good day!
-[⏰]
perhaps they even hath a birthmark in the shape of a spade on their hip
dantes censoring can also be seen in the observation logs (mostly those written by heathecliff). dante has also started being a bit sneaky and hiding information about how their memory retention works and what lies beyond the mirror doors. personally, i think the censoring is an engrained habit and that if shits bad enough theyll break out of it. from how im interpreting it... maybe its not that they need to actually censor those words. maybe its more show that concealment is a large part of their character.
god so much happened at the start that i don't remember. i was absorbing a lot at the time. yeah it looks like it was D corp, not A corp :p (though they are next to eachother i think)
