This world hates truth. This world will beat on anyone who knows and spreads truth. Please stay strong everyone who truly does speak the truth of God and speak on behalf of God… the reason God tells us to depart from this world is because everything and almost everyone in this world fights and challenges the truth that God tells and this world fights to uphold blatant lies. This world will try to destroy anyone and anything truly telling the truth in Gods name. Being a soldier of the light, truth, and way of God is not an easy task. Do not turn weary and do not give up. It is a blessing to suffer for the purposes of the Lord God YAH and Lord Savior Jesus Christ. We have to endure as Jesus did for truth to be accepted by all. Keep spreading the truth and don’t let your emotions fool you into thinking you have to feel anything bad about telling the truth and having those people who fight against the truth, that you live to spread for God and Jesus Christ, attack you. Keep telling the truth and let God and Christ strengthen you to continue to do so. Do not let this sick world that is so clearly against the truth and against God discourage you.

Pray everyday all day

Speak the truth even when it hurts and speak it with love

Keep God in your mind, body, soul, heart, spirit, and energy and keep the truth alive.

Keep being a pillar of God, and every time man tries to knock you down, remember that God is within you and with you, and you will not fall and you shall not be moved. Continue to be in Gods presence and hands. Do not ever go astray. Better to be a pillar of God, than a pillar of salt.

so in an attempt to actually use positive thinking, anytime i fuck up and my brain reacts as if ive cause a minor apocalyptic event, i compare my fuck up to the 4 minute fuck up committed by the crew of the uss william d porter.

and only today, as i was having to explain what happened to my mom when i was explaining the whole comparison thing, did i realise that most people dont know about it and ive decided that needs to change because its objectively hilarious.

...which is a weird thing to say about an event that occured on a warship in 1943, specifically november 14th.

see the uss william d porter was a fletcher-class destroyer but you dont need to know what that means, just that she had guns that went bang bang and that she was escorting another ship, the uss iowa, to cairo.

while they were on their way there, they performed some gun trials like testing the anti-aircraft guns or the torpedos. and while they were running a torpedo drill, the crew of the porter managed to fire a live torpedo straight at the iowa which you know, in terms of a list of things to do while escorting a ship, shooting a torpedo at them is not on that list.

especially if the president of the united states is on board.

yeah so fdr was on board and the gun trials were actually his idea, and part of the trials was that they were conducted under radio silence.

and that means the crew of the porter couldnt just call the iowa to be like "move out the way, we accidentally shot a torpedo at you."

but they did have signal lamps and you know, the signalman on board was trained to signal this exact kind of message.

...and uh never mind, the signalman did manage to successfully tell the iowa that a torpedo was coming toward them but wasnt as successful when it came to the direction the torpedo was coming from.

not all hope is lost though because the signalman could still use the signal lamp to correct his previous mistake and-, never mind, he announced that the porter was reversing, which she wasnt.

yeah so at catastrophic mistake number 3, they broke radio silence to warn the iowa and she managed to turn out of the way just in time which meant no one got hurt. and even though the inquiry into the incident led to chief torpedoman (fantastic job title btw) lawton dawson being sentences to hard labour, fdr intervened and waved away his sentence, saying it was all an accident.

but yeah, so thats my new measure for "how much did i really fuck up?" and when i compared accidentally picking up a pencil case without a tag on it in wilko, turns out it was a very minor fuck-up. yes, the cashier had to ask another worker to grab a duplicate so they could scan the barcode, but i didnt nearly kill the president during wartime via accidental friendly fire

luke fumbling in recruiting percy has to be one of his greatest failures. a beautiful thing the show does regarding luke and percy's relationship is building rapport between them through shared moments like settling into camp, eating meals together, but especially through swordfighting lessons. the swordfighting scene at the beginning of episode 8 not only reveals that percy and luke already share similar beliefs about the fear-based system the gods have cultivated, but it's clear the conversation stays with percy when he fights ares and later calls out zeus on his waning skills as a father and a king. however, luke's plan fell through the moment percy learned that the winged-shoes were meant to drag him to tartarus. not only that, but the shoes nearly killed grover, a friend percy cared for deeply. if nourishing loyalty and trust was the key to ensuring a partnership with percy, then it was luke's faulty planning, arrogance, and impatience that cost him the greatest ally he could ask for.

Not every moment is a teaching moment, not every person is a person that needs to be taught whatever you thought you were supposed to teach them.

The mistake a lot of people make is thinking that every moment is a teaching moment when it is not. They also make the mistake in thinking they are meant to teach someone themselves when they are not.. and make the mistake in thinking someone is lacking in this knowledge when they’re not. Because they’re jumping a gun, that wasn’t even loaded for them. Especially when you do not know someone or what they know. It’s important to know that it’s also ignorant to assume someone else is ignorant when they’re not. The truth is a lot of people don’t care if they’re being ignorant, if the ignorance supports their stance against someone else.

People will label someone as unteachable because those people sought to teach someone something, that was misplaced, already known, or didn’t need to be taught. The people spoke thinking their words was what someone needed to be taught when the words are merely reflections of false judgment of someone and their knowledge base. Because the person so clearly did not need your input on that subject. A teachable moment easily becomes a painful attack on the “student” when the so called teachings are packed with accusatory language and redundant information. Someone is not unteachable just because they disagree with you and they’re standing firm in their own stance. Someone is not unteachable if you’re telling them something they already know or something they know is wrong and they simply do NOT pretend otherwise.

There’s a difference between all of these possible scenarios:

1: someone teaching something that is wrong and they just feel strongly about it.

2: someone teaching something right that the other person is just not willing to accept

3: someone teaching something that isn’t right or wrong and is just a personal opinion that people may or may not agree with; rightfully so.

Number 2, is the only thing that is considered a teaching moment that was missed.. and even still don’t forget that even when teaching something that is right, a teaching moment can be misplaced and misused. There is a proper and improper way to teach others and a proper and improper time/moment to teach others…

I digress to say that,

Just because someone seeks to teach something doesn’t mean it needs to be taught. Just because someone is hell bent on preaching that the sky is red, doesn’t mean the sky is red and it doesn’t mean people need to learn that the sky is red. It doesn’t mean anyone who doesn’t accept what they say is unteachable, it means the other parties are making the mistake of thinking what they have to say is actually something people need to be taught, when it’s not. Or making the mistake in thinking this particular person needs to learn this certain information, when they don’t. Either because they already know or KNOW BETTER than that which you seek to “teach” them.

They will label you unteachable if you refuse their mental manipulation and indoctrination.

They will label you unreachable if you refuse to conform to human standard of thought or opinions.

They will label you ignorant if you refuse to listen to lies, false information, evil philosophy, and personal unbacked opinions.

They will label you a know it all if you refuse to pretend that you do not know better.

They will assassinate the character of every person who chooses to follow GOD and not people (even when the persecutors claim to be Godly people) and they will assassinate the character of every person that stands out from the crowd, and also stands for SOMETHING and falls for NOTHING.

A person who refused to follow man and be brainwashed. The world will hate you every time.

Keep following God and the righteous natures of your higher self.

Before you teach, know your actual place and capabilities and let GOD teach the people first and you learn from GOD first.

P.s. you can’t trust everyone who claims to speak on Gods behalf. Most people are disconnected from their higher selves that are one with God and therefore they are disconnected from Gods voice even if they seek Him often… that’s why God has appointed, anointed, and trusted/specific messengers to relay His speakings.

There’s people that will blow up a daycare and claim God told them to do it when God will NEVER say any such thing. Proving that you cannot believe all that claim to speak on behalf of God and His teachings.

Not everyone, claiming to be teaching what needs to be taught, is actually teaching what God has said needs to be taught to people.

Beware of who you heed.
