Literally my favorite plot line from my current WIP, and definitely one of my favorite monologues I’ve ever written for Buck

I personally headcanon that Bobby mentally adopted Eddie the day Eddie showed everyone a baby picture of Chris. Not because Chris is an adorable baby and Bobby wants to be his grandfather (though that is not untrue either), but because in the picture there is also 19 year old Eddie holding him. 19 year old Eddie, who still has baby fat on his cheeks and a patchy stubble that's not coming in yet and some of the teenage gangly-ness that he hasn't grown out of, and he looks so overwhelmed and confused, as if he can't believe he is holding this baby he helped create, but also so proud, because oh my god, look at this baby he helped create. And that's when Bobby decides this kid (who has grown out of being a kid at that point) needs to have someone there passing down paternal wisdom.

It is not Buck's fault that staring at a guy's ass didn't clue him in that he's bi. Why?

Everyone, including Hen, Karen, Bobby, Chim, even Taylor, lesbian, lesbian, straight, who freaking knows, and self-centered-sexual, has checked out Eddie's ass and admitted they think he is hot.

How could Buck know that checking out a great ass attached to a guy wasn't what everyone, regardless of gender, sex, or sexuality, does?

911 season 2 episode 4 really saw the brewing tension between buck and eddie and said “all in.” with an absolutely devious gleam in the eye

maddie, firmly shoving aside everyone else to install herself at the top of my favorite characters list, giving a voice to us all 🫡

and this is eddie looking like he’s about to jump buck for introducing him to a baby sitter. hottest thing a man can do. (also i love carla so much her energy is immaculate and she simply radiates warmth)

in conclusion, the tension between these two is absolutely boiling and i need them to kiss nasty about it :))

This happened off screen - Buck trying to pack up his things and Eddie keeps unpacking it and meshing it with his stuff making it all fit together and Buck keeps trying to bring the boxes to his car and Eddie is just bringing it back inside.

Things that don’t make sense if Eddie Diaz is in fact straight and Evan Buckley does not have romantic feelings towards him:

• “they’re not my type” says Eddie Diaz after seeing literally most of the possible types a man could have– including one who is the exact type that his (dead) wife is

• Buck saying “thanks” to being told that he and Eddie have “an adorable son” rather than correcting the lady

• Eddie saying “I don’t want to feel like I have to perform” in reference to him going out on dates with women

• Tommy being surprised that Buck said he was trying to get his attention (we all thought he was trying to get Eddie’s let’s be so fr)

• Buck saying “I don’t have to sleep with everyone I have feelings for” despite having, in fact, slept with everyone that he’s canonically had feelings for (so like…it only makes sense he’s in love with Eddie from that statement alone)

• Eddie having a literal panic attack at the thought of being a ready-made family with a woman despite his years of co-parenting Christopher with Buck (as confirmed by OS and a writer/producer/someone who works on the show that I can’t remember the name of)

• Buck’s “yeah, I know exactly what you mean” after Eddie said that he and Tommy just “clicked” 💀

• Eddie’s inability to actively participate in a long-term relationship with a woman

• Buck’s inability to shut up about Eddie for 2 seconds (I am so sorry Ravi 😭 that man was gonna drag you down with him!)

• Eddie telling Father Brian that he’s straight when literally no one brought that up

• Buck calling Eddie straight when literally no one in that convo said he wasn’t as a way of deflecting from answering Maddie’s question of if he’s in love with him

• Buck immediately clocking who Tommy was talking about when he said “don’t make me say it” about who he felt was his competition with Buck

• Buck saying that Eddie’s straight and Tommy’s response of “okay” with a snort 😭 clock the tea!

• “I just think you’re not sure of your own feelings yet, and if there’s something you need to tell Eddie you will– in your own time” — Maddie Buckley I wanna give you a kiss for all your Buddie warriorism over the last 7 years.

Like baby we’ve won a third of the battle with them making Bi Buck canon, can we get the other two thirds of Gay Eddie and Buddie canon?

the way Buck is 0% surprised or alarmed by waking up to Eddie Diaz in his appartment pulling his covers off his bed which means either a) Mr. Eddie Diaz has done this before, enough times for it to be totally normal, or b) Mr. Evan Buckley just is always mentally prepared and expecting to see Eddie Diaz anywhere and everywhere, there is no place Eddie Diaz is not supposed to be, no place he could appear that would be strange or not normal
