When Will woke up again, the sun had already risen a bit. He assumed it was about six am, after bringing himself back to the reality he lived in. Confused from what he already faced, he checked his surroundings to make sure he was alive, and actually there.
The roof was empty and quiet. There were no screams, no running, not anything. He got up and tried to walk back inside, to see if Fred was there. Even though he was in extreme pain still and he just witnessed awfully horrible things, he hoped he was still alive.
He pushed the door, but it only opened about three inches; something was blocking it.
He pushed once more. And then froze in place due to the view he came by.
Fred's body was unrecognisable. It wasn't even considered a body anymore. It was a mass of broken bones, flesh and poked eyes outside their sockets. The skin was rotten, and the clothes were ripped due to the bone replacement. The only thing that stayed in place was the scar and the glasses.
Without knowing, Will made a few steps back, and he puked so much that blood came out of his guts.
He didn't know how much time passed. He didn't know if the Wheelers already woke up, if they noticed he wasn't there anymore. He didn't care at that time. He only wanted this to be over.
The police alarm was ringing from the other side of the block. Will waited there, relieved that someone was to appear, giving a sense of normality.
"Did you witness anything else before passing out? Like where the killer might have gone?" Chief Powell asked. Only then did Will realise he revealed part of the truth to the authorities, not the whole thing.
"Uh, no. I'm sorry." He replied with hesitation. Before passing out, the only thing he could bring up was Ghostface's mask and a rock. Nothing else.
As the chief headed to his team that was examining the body, he shooted a web on the nearest building and started swinging back home.
A small part of my fanfic "Leave no trace behind" (shiftingfics on ao3).
Hey, how are you? You haven't had any updates on the comic for a long time. Hope you are having a good rest
I'm very good
Comic is on a freeze, I don't feel like making plots, want to animate and make doodles only, following the river
And I bet ya that's not even a "long time", when it will be 5 years theeen I'll accept it as a "long time"
given sabo’s reputation and bounty do you think the topic of the revolutionaries ever comes up among goa royalty and nobility. do you think they ever clap outlook on the shoulder and go wow that flame emperor sabo boy sure is a handful. seems like an extra insult that he shares the same name as your dead son 😔 and outlook, didit, and stelly all look at each other like
Me busting into Elder Predator’s chambers to chew his ass out after he ignored my gauntlet call six times in a row (he was taking a much needed old man nap)
holy blocking batman. on the nose? sure. a shot that seems to have been composed specifically so a dropout former film student like me can exclaim ‘wow this is cinematic’ and probably talk circles about the symbolism… jack with his back turned to the camera, a statuesque silhouette towering over the cowering gwen — on her knees before something of a an idol, a demigod, an impossible hero, some christ figure risen from the dead but at the cost of the corpse lying prostrate like a sacrifice beside him. somebody to take her by the hand and lead her to a transfigured world in which nothing will ever be the same.
arriving like an angel of death after defying it — come with me and leave of the land of the living behind. come with me too, gwen cooper, your turn
A QUESTION TO THE WİLLİAM AFTON GİRLİES (both movie and game girlies but especially the movie girlies) : if u find out that steve raglan (/dave miller) is actually william afton, who had a family before meeting u, owned a pizzeria that was big in the 80s and killed 7-8 kids and a few adults who are security guards with a cold blood, and you guys are dating
What will you do?
Srsly imagine that actually happened in real life, you never saw matt lillard ever in ur life or never played the games and then u met this guy, thinking u know him, but then you find out the truth behind that man, What. Will. You. Do?
İ repeat again : you find out, he doesn't tell you and probably will not
would it be at all possible to live inside one of the holy beasts? like, as a stowaway?
oh good question... i say yeah absolutely, if you're smart about it. now - there's no way you WOULDN'T be noticed. they are not spacious on the inside, in fact they are horribly cramped and claustrophobic. but here's the thing... every single person in there is wearing a mask and they're all named either mercury or mars. replacing one of them would be easy, you just need to make sure it's someone whose job isn't so specialised that you'd be found out by not being able to do it. so this relies on you being able to trick your way in.
if you just grabbed onto the leg of one and climbed up onto the back, you would not be able to stand on most of it due to the heat. up by the neck is a good shot at a safe place, but the people on the navigation platform might see you
it is not recommended to crawl into inlets or exhausts
Will byers is not the only one to hide a secret. His friend, Mike Wheeler does too. Little did he know a series of murders happening in Hawkins, his hometown far away from home/Lenora, would be linked to his one of his closest friends there. In this universe, Will Byers faces the consequences of being bitten by a radioactive spider in the upside down, along with a masked murderer under the influence of something greater. Something that impacted both if not all of them.
This story is a 12 chapter- fic set in a spiderman au. Will byers obtained those powers in an incident happeni in summer of 1985, and with this influence he gets to well- be spiderman. Mike and Will are distant, since I followed some canon plot in this story to add suspense.
And that suspense increases the more you read it. The best thing is, no matter what happens at anytime, were all human, with no powers and no weapons. We just have ourselves at the end of the day.
This complete work contains about 30k words, and has 12 chapters. Wrote it in February - April of 2023. The first scene I wrote was the finale.
PART TWO:
Leave no trace behind: you won't even exist
Shiftingfics
Summary:
Two years after retuning to Hawkins, Will Byers has to face yet another unknown threat. But the unknown, this time, doesn't mean it's unfamiliar.
Chills went up and down his spine once he realized Mike Wheeler wasn't around anymore. The fog flooded the place, making his eyesight even worse. He blinked, several times, only to just wake up to a nightmare far worse...
"I'm so sorry, Will..."
There’s something so poetic about how the biggest stars burn out quicker. About how the fusion that keeps them alive, eventually makes them unstable.
In a last attempt to survive the constant push of gravity they form iron inside of their cores; this makes them unstable. Despite the futility of it all, as gravity eventually always wins, they try nonetheless.
Not only that but when they go supernova, they form a nebula. Even in spite of the constant battle that was their life, they left something in their wake. A place that forms new stars.
i'm developing a moral and ethical code around my agnostic skepticism. i'm at the point where i have to Try The Thing I Don't Believe In not only for the ability to say that I tried but also to say that it definitely didn't work for me.
the truth of it all is that i legit desperately want to touch some proof of divinity or expanded consciousness etc etc if only to disprove an awful theory i've developed about the nature of reality myself.
